The Best (And Worst) Foods At Dodger Stadium - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Location: The Sweet Spot (Field 46) Dodger Stadium hopping aboard the matcha trend? What could go wrong? Quite a bit. Somewhere in this giant jug of milk is five specks of green tea powder. It’s pale green like a seasick sailor, flavorless, and the skimpy amount of boba adds a bit of texture but not much else. Avoid." - garrett snyder

Google
Sure—here’s a more masculine-toned, two-paragraph version of your 3-star review: ⸻ Stopped by Cha Cha Matcha in DUMBO. The place has a good vibe and the staff was solid—really friendly and helpful, no complaints there. They know how to make you feel welcome, and the service was quick. But I’ve got to be honest—the cups weren’t clean, and that’s a basic thing that shouldn’t be overlooked. It takes away from the whole experience. I’d give it another shot, but they need to tighten up on the cleanliness side.

Google
I stopped by Cha Cha Matcha for the first time, and it's such a charming little spot! However, I'm a bit on the fence about going back. They have freshly baked cookies, but sadly they can't warm them up for you after buying. I’d give the cookie a 5/10. The strawberry matcha, though, was pretty tasty—I'd rate that a 7/10! One quirky detail was that they don't accept cash, which was a bit unusual. Overall, I’d say my experience was a 6/10.

Google
I recently visited ChaCha Matcha and enjoyed the overall atmosphere. It's a cozy spot, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment. While I appreciated the experience, I found the matcha to be on the lighter side. If you prefer a more subtle matcha flavor, this might be perfect for you. Personally, I tend to gravitate towards bolder matcha profiles. The service was friendly, and I'd be open to trying other items on the menu

Google
This café is absolutely charming, with its adorable pink walls creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I tried the strawberry matcha, and it was perfect—smooth, flavorful, and not too sweet. A great spot for a delightful and well-balanced drink!

Google
Cha Cha Matcha serves the perfect matcha latte! Their matcha is whisked to order, and you can see the quality in its vibrant green color. The space is cozy with plenty of seating, and they offer coffee, smoothies, and pastries for an extra morning boost. Definitely worth a visit!

Saleena

Google
As a big matcha lover I tried the matcha latte and it was good, but not as good as I was expecting for a matcha specialized franchise. Shop vibes are very cute decor wise with a good amount of seating, they have their own Cha Cha merch you can buy for die hard fans (hoodies etc), and the staff are pretty friendly!

Google
Cha Cha Matcha has a trendy vibe and a variety of matcha drinks, but the matcha latte was just okay, especially considering the price, which is nearly $9. It's a nice spot to hang out, but the drinks may not be worth the high price for everyone.

Google
Located in Time Out market main level. The purple drink was ok but the matcha shot was worth it, strong and genuine.

Yelp
Got the strawberry matcha specialty drink, which was delicious! The matcha was very thick and earthy and paired really nicely with the strawberry puree. I thought the menu had a nice variety of drinks and flavors and would love to try more. Interior was clean, pink and very cute. Service was fast. There was a smattering of seating as well for those not taking their orders to-go. It's located inside Time Out Market, so located to plenty of other treats

Yelp
Super cute place to go to for the vibes! I love all things pink and girly and cha cha matcha fits the bill! I ordered the matcha chai and you can see the baristas making it on the spot with high quality matcha. It's more on the bitter end so they definitely need to offer more diverse options for sweetener and expand the menu and it would be cool if they have a variety of hot and cold drinks and not make you choose between the two.
google avatar

Bill S.

Yelp
Listen, I don't care about the quality of the Matcha! We're walking thru the TimeOut Market in March and my wife would like a warm cup of something. I see Cha Cha when we first walk in, I figured they should have regular hot drinks besides Matcha. My wife decides on a Chai Tea Latte. We get our drink that was beautifully presented. If there was a blind taste test and said, what flavor tea is this, no one would say Chai Tea. There was hardly any Chai Tea flavor. I think you need to concentrate more on the Chai flavor and less on the Matcha Cha Cha.

Yelp
You can really taste the matcha and it's not super sweet! I got the strawberry matcha drink and the blue drink for my friends: both thought the blue drink was especially delicious! (and aesthetically pleasing). Service was quick even during the afternoon and I like the cute napkins and pinks straws.

Diana M.

Yelp
The draft matcha latte is delicious and the flavor is to die for. 100% recommend The flavor of vanilla bean is light but extraordinary.
google avatar

Jazzi E.

Yelp
Not the best matcha I have ever had, but definitely a unique take on flavor combinations. I got the chai matcha hot. I liked the mixture, but wish I would have tried the matcha by itself. All the drinks are pricey. I enjoyed that it's not served overly sweet and you can taste the earthiness of the chai and matcha. The shop has a cute sitting area and is located in a shopping center with other restaurants. This location is very close to Dumbo and easily accessible by foot with great views of the Brooklyn bridge.

Yelp
I feel bad that I didn't enjoy this place. My friend really recommended Cha Cha Matcha to me because she knows I love a good matcha latte, so I made sure to come try it out during my visit to New York. I know that there are multiple Cha Cha Matcha locations around New York, but this location in particular was one of the more spacious ones, and I really liked how they decorated with the theme of pinks and greens everywhere. I paid like $8 for my matcha latte, which is pretty on par with other matcha places right now. I didn't really mind splurging, but I was really disappointed, honestly, with the flavor profile. Maybe it was just a bad day, but my latte was overwhelmingly almond-flavored. I did request almond milk, but I couldn't even taste the matcha. I've tried matcha lattes (with almond milk, since I'm lactose intolerant) at many other cafés, and I've never had it so diluted. I don't know what happened. Kinda disappointed with my experience at Cha Cha Matcha. My friend still swears by this place, so maybe I should give it another shot, but I feel a bit put off by my recent matcha latte experience.

Yelp
Tried the match chai and it was delicious! Had never tried this combo but love chai and love matcha, thankfully it was as delicious combined. It was sweetened but not super sweet. They were quick to take an order and make the drink, friendly service. A perfect warm drink to take while walking over to Brooklyn bridge park.

Yelp
This matcha spot is located inside Time Out Market in DUMBO with locations across LA and NY. We wanted a pick me up drink to start the day and started off here. In case you miss it, it's located near the elevators and entrance and not inside the food hall. I ordered the Blue Drink ($7) because I was intrigued by the beauty blend ingredient. This consisted of collagen and other good-for-you ingredients. The drink itself is very blue (probably from the butterfly pea), but I've never seen such a deep hue for the flavor. Surpringly, the drink was pretty tasty and not too sweet either. Do I need a cup every day for the beauty to take effect?
google avatar

Amy T.

Yelp
This place is so cute and aesthetically pleasing, however I felt the matcha wasn't that strong! I got a matcha latte, didn't have to wait too long for my drink to come out. We got our drinks and walked around the market and hung out around the carousel area. I don't think I would try this place again but am happy I tried it once
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious little spot to get some matcha while you're walking around DUMBO area. Serving only ceremonial grade matcha, the pink and green colors here will make you cha cha. From matcha latte to cha cha colada smoothies, at cha cha matcha you can get your matcha fix while energizing, feeling good and enjoying your drink. And yes, their straws are biodegradable. They've thought it all!
google avatar

Isabel A.

Yelp
Stopped by on a smoothie craving and this place totally delivered! The shop is super cute (and very pink--in the best way). I went with the Berrylicious smoothie with almond milk, and it was fresh, fruity, and hit the spot. Great vibe, solid menu--definitely coming back to try more!
google avatar

Courtney E.

Yelp
Overrated at best. Seems like a happening place to just be seen and the quality of their matcha latte is just not up to par. Very, very deep and earthy if you are looking for that type of matcha. Seems like the people they have working hardly speak or interact - total quiet experience. Wasnt impressed although it is a very cute place. Hopefully things turn around for this specific establishment.
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
Overall not my favorite matcha as it tasted overpowered by the strawberry and it had another flavor to it that I can't describe but it wasn't bad. I'd probably opt for a regular matcha instead. This Cha Cha Matcha does get very busy due to its location but they were able to make the drinks quickly. The shop is cute too!
google avatar

Jackie M.

Yelp
Well balanced matcha drinks! The standout was the ginger tumeric matcha! You can taste all the ingredients mixed in, available and great as either hot or cold. Couldn't decide which is better as they have their merits. Watch them create, scale and whip the matcha. Drinks are done well and the results show.
google avatar

Bonnie G.

Yelp
Heavenly ginger tumeric matcha! The most comforting drink I've had in a while. Not even a huge fan of matcha over here but wow, choosing it over a cappuccino says a lot. Can't wait to go back. 5 stars!!!
google avatar

Ajay K.

Yelp
Was not a fan of the quality of matcha the last time I came here so I decided to give the Strawberry Yuzu Lemonade a try on what was a very hot day. Unfortunately this drink was also below par: there was no Yuzu flavor and the drink just tasted generically sweet. There was also something off with either the ice or the lemon slice that they added to the drink because there was a weird aftertaste that definitely shouldn't have been there and I had to throw most of it away.
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Stopped by here after wandering around Time Out market for a bit in the afternoon. I ordered a strawberry matcha because I've had the strawberry matcha latte at Boba Guys before and wanted to compare. I would say that nothing is necessarily stand out about this drink, it's exactly what it says it is. If I were to come here again, I would probably order a different drink. The store itself was really crowded, as expected during a weekend afternoon, and it was pretty difficult to get a seat. With that said, the vibe was pretty nice and the decorations were really cute inside!
google avatar

Nathalia P.

Yelp
Super good matcha latte, my friend got the Strawberry Matcha and really enjoyed it as well. Reminds me of a concept back in Seattle that is my favorite, but I do really like this franchise here in New York! I hope they add more recipes to their menu one day!
google avatar

Anita P.

Yelp
This place was super cute! I stopped by after walking near the Brooklyn bridge on a hot day and it hit the spot. The matcha lemonade was very refreshing and the matcha quality was super good imo (which I was pleasantly surprised about). I saw the servers whisk it themselves as well, which was pretty neat. I'll have to try a the lattes next time.
google avatar

Yelp
First I have to say this place is super cute, I loved all the colors and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We aren't huge Matcha drinkers but wanted to try it out and had lots of questions and the baristas were so helpful and honest. The Matcha.....it was pretty good for a semi Matcha liker. Still need to get used to that earthy after taste. You know the one that slightly tastes like sweetened soil, I don't know how else to explain it! But other wise the purple drink was sweet and creamy and tasted even better with the shot of Matcha. The vanilla honey latte was a fan favorite and highly recommended. We especially loved the snowflake image it comes with. Prices were a little steep, about $10 per drink. Is that normal for Matcha????? But seeing how it was a once in a while special treat and not a daily habit we were fine with the marked up price. Either way check this place out! And pair it with some loaded fries from Jacobs Pickles just around the bend! Your welcome

Yelp
Great premium matcha drinks in the Time Out Hall in Dumbo. That matcha on nitro tap is something else. Loved how smooth it was and it was lightly sweetened. Also had the cold brew and matcha chai. Wish we had this near us. Yum!
google avatar

Yelp
Cutest little matcha shop. Fast, friendly service. My daughter ordered a matcha lemonade and it was delicious. Love the pink & green decor
google avatar

Yelp
I visited Cha Cha on a Saturday evening and I have no complaints about my experience. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, and it was really good. The staff were friendly. The interior of the cafe was aesthetically pleasing and there was plenty of seating available. They also have merch for sale like sweaters, matcha and matcha whisk. This makes Cha Cha a great place to find a thoughtful gift for the matcha lover in your life. If you're looking for a quiet cafe, this is not the place since this is located in timeout market. Of course the parking was difficult because we are in NY. Give this place a try they have a lot of cool drink options.

Yelp
I came here on Sunday, April 14th and had a terrible experience. First, the cashier thought my name was Ming because I'm Asian. When she asked for my name, I clearly stated "Renee" and she typed Ming with no hesitation. Second, while taking my order, she was having a side conversation with the barista and made me feel like I was interrupting something more important. After they called "Ming", I hesitated to grab the drink because that's not close to my name and the cashier never mentioned that she couldn't hear what my name was. However, no one grabbed the drink so I went up to ask if it was for Renee but the barista repeated "Ming" with no other explanation and as if I was asking a stupid question. After explaining to the barista that the drink was mine and that the customer in front of me had just received their order, the barista said "oh" and just slid over my drink. No apology or anything, just attitude. This was a horrendous experience. 1. This was clear racism and 2. The service was just downright bad. I also heard the customers sitting next to me complaining about the cashier's lack of service and attitude. It's disappointing to see that a store whose main product is Matcha, an Asian based flavor, treats Asians and other minorities like this.

Yelp
Cha Cha Matcha's so yummy! A neighborhood staple. I love their strawberry matcha latte, chocolate chip cookie, and smoothies. I also love that they have agave on the side for you to customize the sweetness of your drink. Service is always friendly, professional, and quick. Aesthetics are also a vibe, and I love that it's in Dumbo Market because there are so many other fun bites to explore and enjoy :) cheers

Yelp
Whenever I'm in the area, I always make it a habit to check out the local Cha Cha Matcha. This one was no different. The place is located in DUMBO at Timeout Market close to the main entrance. I ordered the Ginger Turmeric since I wanted to diverge from my usual order of the Blue Drink. The Ginger Turmeric was a great choice and it was a nice immune system boost. The staff mentioned that there have been occasional celebrity showings that will occur at the upstairs roof of Timeout Market. It is usually booked out for events but still worth taking the chance to see someone like Jay-Z. Overall great experience and I'll be sure to keep my eye out in the future.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally a shop dedicated to ALL matcha! There's seating but it's not comfortable to the point where you'd bring your laptop (although I swear I saw Joe Jonas here on his laptop!). It's great for a quick rest and sip and then you're off! The line moves fast if there is one. And the gals behind the counter can answer all your matcha questions! I ordered the blue matcha and it was divine! They are known for their matcha art, even though mine didn't quite come out nicely;) I put a top on it and kept walking so it wasn't the end of the world for me:) what a happy place!
google avatar

Melanie T.

Yelp
The DUMBO location is quite cozy because it isn't as crowded as the ones in Manhattan so there are plenty of seating options. Love seeing all of the pink decor and whenever you are here, grab yourself some of the pink napkins because they are my aesthetic. We got the purple drink is delicious and I've had it hot and cold and both taste great - really depends on the weather conditions. The lavender in the purple drink is present and it tastes so good and refreshing. I order the non dairy option and it's just a nice drink to sip on.
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
As soon as you enter the market, you'll see this matcha shop on the right. Cute space to hang out with lots of comfortable benches and inviting bright colors. Drinks wise: It's the draft matcha latte for me!!! Perfect amount of vanilla & sweetness and non-dairy milk. Service was great and very quick.
google avatar

Chithra V.

Yelp
Cute cafe inside Time out in Brooklyn. It actually looks like Barbie Cafe with everything themed in pink including the cups and napkins. Their Chai latte was amazing. It was perfect and the best one I have ever had. The cafe has a few seating inside. Service was faster though we went during the rush hour.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Aesthetics are important to me and this place is a whole vintage LA vibe. I loved being in here. The creativity of the space translates into their menu and marketing ... down to the napkins. Obsessed with the Strawberry Matcha would be an understatement... I am happy to just give them my paycheck if they could keep the matcha flowing. The staff was great and seemed enthusiastic. Seriously, I almost bought some swag... If you're not already a matcha lover, I think this place would help you with that stepping stone into that mean green happiness.
google avatar

Yelp
I went on a Saturday afternoon and luckily it wasn't super crowded. It's on the first floor of the Time Out Market so definitely make sure to get your drink and then use the elevator to go to the top floor to check out the view. As for the drink itself, I'm sad to say that I was heavily disappointed with their matcha. I got the strawberry matcha and was expecting a lot more for a $8 drink. The strawberry syrup/puree was very good. However, the matcha tasted very diluted and I felt like I could barely taste it.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here while in the dumbo area for a drink as it's fairly new and has been in the area since last summer. The decor is vibrant and very inviting. The staff are pretty helpful. I wasn't sure what to order so I got the beautiful latte lol! I mean who doesn't want to intensify and enhance there beauty with a drink?! I thought the name was so cute. It's has vanilla, ashgwanda , honey, your choice of milk and a few other ingredients I forget but over all the drink was smooth , tasty and delish! I've ordered it twice for 7$ + tax. Pretty pricey would like it is if it was maybe 6$ due to size. Not bad for the area and size, keep in mind a lot of tourist frequent this area so it's understandable I guess. I also got a cookie that was 5$ milk chocolate I believe. It's so good moist and buttery but I don't believe it's worth the 5$. I feel like that's a bit steep for the size. I can see 3.75 but 5$ is a lot. If your into cookies you won't be bothered or are accustomed to that price point. Overall a cute spot to stop in for matcha and or cool or warm drink!
google avatar

Veronika B.

Yelp
If you are a Matcha Fan you must stop by and check out this amazing Matcha drink shop! Several options to choose from each matcha drink is crafted to perfection! This cute cafe is conveniently located in the time-out market building in Dumbo. Perfect spot to grab a cool refresher and enjoy the Brooklyn bridge waterfront views! Friendly and attentive the staff is on point and makes the experience even better when your drinks are served with a smile! The lemonade matcha is not to be missed! I'll be back.

Yelp
Cute cafe located right next to Cecconi's! It's hard to find a good matcha place in the city and I like that they have the classic and the specialty drinks. I went with the Strawberry Matcha because I wanted something sweet and refreshing. The Matcha Chai was better and really hit the spot. I hope they come up with a rewards program for returning customers and it would be nice if they could offer all drinks as hot or cold.

Yelp
Lately I have been loving strawberry matcha and wanted to get a fix while at Time Out Market. We ordered the Purple Drink and a Strawberry Matcha. Overall taste wise, would not recommend. The drinks tasted nothing like they were described and were not worth the high price. The Purple Drink includes "Lavendar, Purple Ube, Calming Blend & Milk." There were only hints of lavender in the first few sips, but quickly faded away. I also could not really taste any ube and I would know the taste growing up consuming ube my whole life. I'd describe the drink as a gentrified horchata, just iced milk and cinnamon for $7. The strawberry matcha was not any better, and if anything much worse. They did not provide very much strawberry and even matcha compared to most other places. After mixing, the strawberry taste quickly faded. The matcha quality was also not very good, it was grassy and not very deep in flavor. Overtime I tasted no matcha either. All I was drinking was milk with vanilla syrup. The vanilla taste overpowered anything else and I couldn't finish the drink as I asked for matcha, not a vanilla drink. Definitely was not worth the $8. This is my first experience with Cha Cha Matcha and I definitely won't be going back to any locations. I'll stick to my *Asian-Owned* matcha places from now on.

Yelp
Did the draft matcha latte and was delicious. Haven't had that before so was nice to have another version. They seem to have a bunch of different offerings which is great and would love to try.

Brandon W.

Yelp
awesome quick service and clean tables; delicious drink with foamy fresh whisked matcha!
google avatar

Yelp
I had a pleasant experience at Cha Cha Matcha in Time Out Market in Dumbo. Drinks are on the pricey side, however this expense is understandable given the ceremonial grade matcha. Went here on Saturday morning shortly before 11am. No long lines, and the guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. He had great customer service, and my friend I appreciated that. Got the chai and Strawberry Matcha. Both drinks were decadent and tasted of good quality ingredients. They use fresh ingredients. It's a good place to get a quick drink but I would not recommend this as a place to sit and catch up with friends. The layout seems designed more for grabbing a drink and having a momentary place to sit. Recommended for anyone looking for a matcha infused coffee or energizing cold drink for summer.
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
The cups leak!!! Everyone in our group has dripping lattes the whole time . Got all over our clothes. We had to walk around with napkins. We also ordered a cookie and they never gave it to us. Coffee is decent, we for a vanilla latte and it is nothing special. I probably would not come back.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
Don't order the draft matcha. It comes out 50% foam. Once the foam settles and evaporates, you will only have half a cup of drinkable liquid. Not worth it and the whole place is overpriced.
google avatar

Karla L.

Yelp
The matcha latte was weak and even though there were a lot of people behind the counter, there's only one register so the line was very long.
google avatar

Dennis D.

Yelp
Very good but also very expensive match drinks here. I think I spent like $8 for a matcha latte- it was really good though. The whole building is really cool- and this place being right at the entrance is perfectly located.
google avatar

Ivy Z.

Yelp
Really cute store, very aesthetic. The service was really good too. I got a matcha latte and it was pretty good, just wish there was a stronger matcha flavor. Would come back to try other drinks.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
I visited on my way back to Manhattan after checking out the Time Out Market. I'm usually not a huge matcha fan, but needed that extra dose of caffeine. I chose an iced matcha latte with almond milk. I also added some extra agave syrup. I can say, i loved it! I drank it so quickly. I may be a matcha girl now.....

Madison S.

Yelp
I sympathize with those who work at the Dumbo Time Out Market--I can imagine dealing with hordes of tourists must be exhausting. However, my experience last Sunday at ChaCha left much to be desired. I arrived early to avoid the crowds and waited in line. When it was my turn, the person behind the counter simply said, 'Yeah?'--no greeting or anything courteous. He was making another drink, so I tried to be understanding. I ordered the strawberry matcha, which was delicious and prepared quickly. However, when my drink was ready, it was placed on the counter without a word, almost tossed in my direction. I said thank you, but again, no acknowledgment. I get that this job might be tiring, but a little politeness, even if it's just for show, goes a long way.
google avatar

Chris K.

Yelp
I had previously sworn off Matcha for over 10 years after a bad experience at Starbucks and recently tried it here. I've definitely been missing out. The matcha latte on draught was delicious! This probably isn't close to the best matcha but it's opened my life back up to a new flavor that I'm grateful for.
google avatar

Natalie C.

Yelp
The person who helped me with my order was great! I had the purple drink and cookies which I 100% recommend. I loved the music playing, and the place was super cute with a good amount of seating.
