"A simple establishment with multiple locations across the Bay Area, Chaat House offers another selection of quick and delightful snacks. Stop in to sample one of many griddle fried breads stuffed with radish greens, paneer, or onions; the seasonal makkai roti made with corn; and sarsoon saag made with mustard greens. The restaurant also offers a pre-fixe style thali to make easy work of picking through the large menu." - Nandita Godbole

We were three people who dined here for lunch . Chaat combo with three different chaats (bhel , dahi balla and samosa chole) for 19.99 was worth it except that the ragda was bland . The other two chaat items were tasty . The 13.99 combo thali had several small portioned dishes , each dish had its own flavor and delicious. All the dishes in the thali were spot on with taste and non greasy . I would definitely go back here for the thali .

We went in there just for chats and boy were we in for a treat! The paninpoori, and dahi batata sev puri were out of this world! We didn't test the rest of the menu but will go back for more. The ambience, menu options, service and staff were all good. Definitely a must- try if you're in the area.

Ordered a chaat combo on a Sunday evening. Bhel puri was awful. Dahi papdi chaat was decent. Samosa chat was very good. Punjabi music was blaring so loud it was a challenge to hold a conversation with my friend across the table.

Perfect homemade food. Our go to option every time we wanted something simple. Thali is best along with all kind of freshly made paranthas. Chaas or chai come complimentary with thali.get back in time with 1970-80’s song on the play!!

Horrible food! We had to throw is all in the trash and get food somewhere else. "Raj Kachori" base was more than 5mm thick and absolutely rock solid, inedible. There was nothing edible in the whole order.

Home like tasty food in affordable price. Good thali. Tasted onion pakoda and chole bathura. Liked the taste. Mango lassi was good too.

Decent joint for some street style chaat items. The decor of the place will remind you of a neighbourhood restaurant in India. They also old Indian songs inside. The taste of the aloo tikki chaat was nice. But there were big chunks of ginger and some uncooked crunchy pieces in it which ruined the texture.

Chaat House has the cutest homely interior with old school TVs playing old Bollywood movies. You have a view of the cooks working hard in the kitchen and there is a very casual vibe. The cashiers and workers are really kind m, but they do not go above and beyond in any way. I usually get takeout of the rotis and a mango lassi. The prices for the rotis are quite cheap which I appreciate. $6.50 for 10 rotis. Talk about a deal! The rotis are soft and authentic, and this is quite visible when you first look at the roti. The rotis are of decent size and they remain fresh in their aluminum foil. For a delicious dessert I usually get a mango lassi as well. The mango lassi is a bit more expensive at $4 per drink. The mango lassi comes cold and tastes tart and fresh! OVERALL, the food for the price is very fresh and tasty, so I definitely recommend this joint to others as a causal place to dine. I will definitely be coming again when I get cravings for some refreshing mango lassi and soft roti!
