Trini/guyanese food done right—even delivered! I had my food delivered and everything was amazing. The roti was soft and full of flavor—easily the best I’ve had in Charlotte. The curry chicken was delicious, and the rice was the bomb! You can really taste the love in every bite. This is the closest I’ve had to real Trini food in CLT. Great service, great flavor—and yes, they cater and deliver too. Highly recommend!

I have had the pleasure of enjoying food from Chaicona Food Truck, operated by the talented Sophia, who is from Guyana, and her husband, from Trinidad & Tobago, for the past three years. Their cuisine is consistently excellent. The roti and dhal puri remind me of homemade dishes prepared by my late mother and grandmother. Additionally, their pumpkin stew brings back fond memories of my mother's cooking. The quality and flavor of their food are always exceptional and authentic. I highly recommend trying their offerings—you won't be disappointed. Please mention to Sophia that I referred you. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Chaconia’s this past Saturday, and it was absolutely delightful! We enjoyed the curry chicken with rice and the most delicious cabbage plate. Everything was perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It wasn’t just me—everyone seemed to savor and enjoy every single bite! This Chef if very worth checking out for any event!

Food was delicious! Curry chicken has slight kick to it and very flavorful. Good combo with their rice. Added chicken patty as well which was very good. Def going back and trying the jerk chicken and shrimp

The wonderful aroma drew me to this food truck before I could even see what was on the menu. The owner was so kind to put together a sample plate of curry chicken, chana, rice and vegetables for only $5! I also had the chicken patty. Every bite was so flavorful, so delicious. I will definitely return and highly recommend. The owner has great customer service!

I had family in from out of state who really wanted authentic Tridadian food. Well they got it. Roti flew out the door, the curry chicken, pumpkin, potatoe and channa was superb. The food was a great hit. The leftover tasted better the next day. Customer service was exceptional. I will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for authentic Trinidian food.

The owner is the nicest person. We didnt know what to order so she gave recommendations and gave a small taste of all the sides in our order. The smell was so good as soon as we opened our boxes and the taste was just as amazing. Loved the curry. Highly recommend. Will come again. Cant wait to try the jerk chicken!

Sophia is so sweet and has the best customer service. The food tasted like a fresh home cooked meal, hot and full of flavor. I truly enjoyed my experience with her food truck and I will DEFINITELY be back and let people know they need to stop by to try her Caribbean food. It’s a must in Charlotte. You will not regret!!!!!
