"Chada Thai & Wine bows out after almost six years on May 26. Aime Wanmaneesiri, the chef and owner of Chada Thai, says that the wine collection goes on sale starting Friday 20 percent off, or 30 percent off 10 bottles or more. The award-winning list of 150 to 170 wines skew toward Rieslings and global whites. Many of the dishes on the 50-item menu carry prices in the $10 range, meant to be shared much like tapas, so expect to order several to get a grasp of the menu that features mild, medium, and hot dishes. Bank Atcharawan, the former sommelier of Lotus of Siam, launched the restaurant in October 2012, serving Southern Thai fare." - Susan Stapleton

Not your typical Thai mom & pop shop. They have a more romantic ambiance with excellent wine selections that pairs well with their dishes. The service was on point; my glass was never empty. If you're going with more than 4, I suggest calling for rsvp.

We had an early dinner around 5:00 pm so it was not crowded. She was a little apprehensive to seat us since we did not have a reservation. The restaurant was spotless and was very well decorated and organized. We ordered two appetizers one of which was pork larb. It was very oily, salty, and not very tart. We had the steak stir fry, deep fried prawns, and another two entrees that I do not recall. We also ordered the Thai ice tea. One of the teas was very sweet and the rest not sweet at all. I used the restroom and it was spotless. I had to ask twice for plates and napkins. Overall it was not bad at all. Definitely not my favorite. To each their own. I would give this place a try. It’s worth that. I might try this restaurant again to see if a few issues were better the second time around. The price for 2 appetizers, 4 entrees , and 4 drinks was $91.00 plus tip. Enjoy.

Great food! Came for a work dinner one night and had a wonderful experience. We ordered about 8 dishes to share between 4 of us and not a single one was less than delicious. We did get the exotic dish of pig ear, heart and tongue and the meats were slightly overcooked which made them rather chewy. The beef jerky was seasoned well, and just the right amount of crispy and dryness for me. And of course, we got 2 of the sticky rice mango with coconut ice-cream dessert - absolute heaven! The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is such a lil hole-in-the-wall in a obscure strip mall next to a karaoke bar, so you can hear American Idol wannabe's next door while eating dinner, hilarious. Bathrooms are fairly clean and there's plenty of parking in the strip mall.

Good atmosphere, large and well decorated. Very friendly service. Smaller plates at nice prices. The food is fantastic. It is a nice branch off of Chada. Fresh coconut water right out of the nut.

My boyfriend brought me here two years ago for our first date and I absolutely loved it. Wonderful atmosphere... definitely a great choice for a first date. The service is phenomenal. We're always so happy to see our favorite server, Pair, when we visit. She's such a sweetheart and very knowledgeable about their menu. Their food is by far my favorite Thai food in all of Las Vegas! Everything is amazing, but these are our favorites: duck panang, moo khum waan, and pad kee mao.

Great Thai food! Loved the crispy duck panang curry and spicy crab curry. But watch out, the spicy crab curry is super spicy. The spicy spring roll was pretty good too. The fried pig ear, tongue and heart was a bit dry and chewy. While I'm not sure if I'd always pick this place over lotus of siam, but the crispy duck is worth a trip back for sure.

Good thai food place off the Strip. Keep in mind there are two Chadas close to each other. Can be legitimate Thai spicy, not sure if they messed up or if their 1 is that spicy, lol. My friends couldn't handle it well, but it was good for me. Thai tea was solid. Serving sizes were okay, just enough to share small sample sizes for 6 people per dish. Most of the recommendations from the server were hits (and unlike Lotus of Siam, not just the most expensive specialty items). Definitely a place to keep in the off Strip rotation.
