The best Korean Barbecue in NE DC. No line, even on Father’s Day. Excellent kimchi and great meat. They have the only conveyor belt delivered meat in DC, which is a major draw. 90 minutes all you can eat. Come hungry!

Chadol Korean BBQ is the real deal! I had an amazing dinner here and it exceeded all my expectations. The quality of the meat was outstanding – we got the chadol baegi (thinly sliced brisket) and it was incredibly tender and flavorful, cooking up in just a few seconds on the grill. The selection of banchan (side dishes) was fantastic and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The corn cheese was a particular highlight – so cheesy and delicious but unfortunately not included. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure our grill was clean and that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The atmosphere is lively and fun, making it the perfect spot for a meal with friends or family. If you're looking for high-quality, delicious Korean BBQ, you have to check out Chadol.

Many of these type, Asian places don’t have the best quality meat. But this place I give a 10 out of 10. The meat and the pork or absolutely amazing. The servers were great and extremely helpful. I would definitely come back many many times

Great ambience with very kind servers who are all attentive to requests and orders. The meat felt super fresh and well balanced between lean and fatty so you could get the best of both worlds. Side dishes were very good as well and would definitely recommend to other friends and family. 😊

So good. And the conveyor belt adds some extra fun. Ashlyn was our server and she was on top of it the entire time, from drink and sauce refills, she was never far off, and kept our grill clean. Food comes out fast and the quality is great.

I went to Chadol for lunch (advertised $29.95 ) but they only had restaurant week for $40. The converter belt is fast and easy. The staff is extremely nice. The banchan was fine - the kimchi was the best. The shrimp comes in boxes that they steam on your grill. I wouldn’t order them again. I wish they had smaller shrimp that they cooked on the grill itself. Similarly the chicken comes to your table fully cooked. The beef selections were by far and away the winner. Come with 4-6 people. For in DC Korean bbq it’s a fun option, and a social experience.

I recently visited Chadol BBQ for my birthday, and while the food was absolutely delicious, the service left me disappointed. Diego, the first server assigned to me, started off by helping me cut up my spicy steak, but as he was doing so, I noticed he used the plate holding my tongs and scissors to place some of the steak for himself and then took it to the back area while he thought my head was turned. This was a bit off-putting, especially since it was a special occasion for me. After that, Diego went on break and another server took over Chris who was more active and attentive, but the experience still wasn’t up to par. I expected better, especially given the occasion. The food, was spot on flavorful and just what I was hoping for. I only wish the service had matched the quality of the meal.

Yelp
This restaurant does not respect your time, or your taste buds. This review is based on a visit dated February 12th, 2025. The dining experience at this 'restaurant' is nothing more than an opportunity to wait 45 minutes, for the privilege of paying sky-high prices to cook your own food. In their menu, they proudly display the quality of their meats, and after sampling a variety I can solidly say this is a delusion. I asked the server what the most popular item was, apparently it is their brisket. A classic choice, that ought to be reliable. It was a dry-grey mass of low-quality, gristle-infected meat. In-conjunction with the piles of meat, they provide cold rice and salad-bar style greens to fill out the plate. The greens are what you would expect from a salad bar at a cheap buffet. Recall, this is not a cheap dining experience. I do not object to the idea of cooking your own food, this is the standard model of Korean bbq, but in the case of this restaurant the grilles are clearly firing at a too-low temperature. I could not get a clear answer if this was policy (maybe they think customers are too incompetent to use a hot grill), or if it was a technical problem. This issue combines with the already low quality of their meat to make the final product profoundly unremarkable. The ambiance is nothing, a rush job. It looks like they glued some sticks to the windows, for some reason. They keep the place dark to prevent excessive scrutiny. I was amused by the playlist consisting of top-40 hits from 2008. To sum it all up, the exorbitant price, depressing greens, cold rice, and delivery of poor gristle-meat via conveyor belt, gives the impression of a callous operation serving slop to customers, the conveyor dumping it all into a trough for the exploited consumer to shovel into their gaping maw.

Yelp
I'm late to the Korean BBQ party, but I'm here now..LOL! My girl took it upon herself to "hip me to some game" and planned date night at Chadol Korean BBQ restaurant. Located next to Alamo Movie Theatre in Northeast, DC, Chadol is contemporary and kinda sexy if I might say, with the low lighting and a slick decor. Chadol is pretty big and was half full, however, we were told there was a 15-20min wait to be seated, so off to the bar we go. Here is where Chadol got their point reduction. I fancy myself as a logical thinker and some may say I think way more black and white than gray, if you know what I mean :) All you can eat per person is $42 although the website shows $39.. fix that. The drink prices are a bit much, $17 and up, which is a little high given you can eat all night for $42.. hmmm! After 25min, we were seated and I can best describe our table as your personal hibachi station. You order your proteins from a kiosk and it's delivered to you by conveyer belt. I was thoroughly impressed, since I'm a self proclaimed gadget guy! Our steak, prawns, bulgogi and brisket were super fresh and seasoned to perfection. The Top Blade steak was hands down our favorite.. freaking delicious. The Bulgogi and Prawns were GOOOD but the brisket was a tad disappointing and wasn't what I expected. I filled up on the proteins and didn't eat any of the side dishes. My girl loved her ramen and salad, which were included in the price. Chadol Korean BBQ is a change of pace from your regular dining experience, given you're cooking your own meal on your personal grill. It made dining a fun experience and I can't wait to come back and also check out other Korean BBQ spots in the area to see if they're just as good!

Yelp
The Big Spoon missed the Yelp event hosted at Chadol so I had to run it back with him, our rule, if we haven't been together we haven't been at all. Free parking - so don't pay! Upon entrance you'll register your parking at the kiosk. - This is a perk! We came on a Thursday evening and although the place was half full and plenty of tables were open, we were told there would be a 20-30 minute wait due to not having enough servers. This seems to be a common occurrence here. We like to enjoy the bar before our meal so no issue there. We grabbed a drink and waited. The wait time didn't seem long before we were seated. Ambiance is causal, dim lighting but not fine dining. This is more of a causal dinner experience. Ladies, you can be cute but leave your dresses at home. I learned that you can cook your own food or ask your waiter to cook for you. Conveyer belt is a cool concept! Drink prices are high, but the meal price is great! Let's Get Into It! An all you can eat menu? Oh yeah I'm in! Ramen - MY Fave! Garlic Shrimp - Delicious Butter Shrimp - Good but Garlic was better. Brisket - Good Bulgogi - YUMMY Seasoned Top Blade Steak - My Favorite Cucumber Watermelon Spritzer - Good but had to add some grenadine to make it taste better. Everything was great! Would definitely come again. ******Would definitely be a 4 star for me once they get their staffing in order. ******

Yelp
One of our fav Korean bbq spots. We love the atmosphere and the fact the food is mostly self order via tablet and comes to you on a conveyer belt. The waiter/waitress will also offer to assist with some of the cooking as well which is cool. Been 2x so far. First time had a 15 min wait on a Wednesday night but on a Saturday night it was a little over an hour. Highly reccomend!

Yelp
How fun is this place??? I was in town from Philly and my friend and I scoped Chadol out for Kbbq. Had never heard of it before but was in a really fun up and coming area near the Rhode Island metro station. The restauant was huge inside and had a nice bar when you first walked in. We liked that the AYCE options weren't set to specific menus like other Kbbq places you go to. We got to try so many different items, and the conveyor belt delivery of meats was super fun too! Definitely reasonably priced for AYCE and the drink list was very fun too! Our server was great, everyone we interacted with there was fantastic! Great spot for your Kbbq fit within DC since there aren't too many within city limits!

Yelp
Honestly, I think this is my favorite Korean BBQ in DC now! Service is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is really nice, and the quality of the meats is stellar. We had to wait about 30mins for a table, which was totally fine with us as you can wait at the bar! We had a great Soju flight and wonderful smoked Old Fashion while we waited. It's all you can eat BBQ for $42 a person. They also had a good selection of apps and sides! Our favorite sides were the Pork Kimchi Rice and the Ramen (SO good). For the meats, the Seasoned Too Blade Steak, Curry Pork Belly, and Spicy Butter Shrimp were some of our favs! All of the meats are delivered to your table by a conveyer vest which was SO fun and really added to the whole experience. I think it will be our new go to Korean BBQ spot, can't wait to go back already!

Yelp
Wow! Sooo delicious and beautifully decorated. This Chadol location is spacious and designed to feel like you're outdoors and I really loved the modern yet historical feel of it. Really added to the Korean bbq experience, literally. For all you can eat it was priced well as the cuts are tender and high quality. Plus there's this electric robot belt thing they use for your orders to come super quick and directly to your table for most items as if the servers aren't nice enough. I loved it and would def return ! It's a must try for experience and food!

Yelp
So glad AYCE KBBQ of his caliber has finally arrived to DC! First impression walking is was, "whoa this place is fancy!" My friends and I went to pickleball next door and afterward we were craving kbbq. We went during non-peak hours, so we were able to just walk in. The service was great off the bat, super friendly and they explained how everything worked. You can order the meat on the iPad screen and it comes out on a conveyer belt pretty quickly. I really loved the brisket and steak the best, the meat was very high quality. There are fun options you can try like curried meat and garlic shrimp. My friend also ordered a kimchi fried rice that was delicious as well. They didn't have your traditional sauces; I usually prefer sesame oil but you can ask for it. They had once sauce that was oddly colored but it's a mix of gochuchang and mayo and it was pretty goood. You get a lot of bang for your buck and I will definitely return when the next kbbq craving hits!

Yelp
What a RELIEF that Chadol has brought legit kbbq to DC proper! The meat was high quality and the meat came quickly after it was ordered. I came on a Monday and was surprised at how busy it was! Our server told us things started blowing up over the weekend. After a couple other kbbq places opened in DC, I wasn't getting my hopes up that this one was going to be any good. I was pleasantly surprised to have been proven wrong! As soon as I walked in, I liked the contemporary aesthetic, but could also tell they weren't trying to win people over with an Instagrammable location. There's only an all you can eat option here, but unlike other AYCE places, the meat quality here was excellent. We loved all the meat choices were got from pork belly, beef brisket, pork jowl, pork shoulder, and steak. You order the meat on a tablet and it comes out fairly promptly on a simple conveyor belt--I love efficiency! We also got the corn-cheese, which was a tasty starter. There were 5 banchan options that were unlimited! Don't be shy to ask for refills, we must have gotten at least 6 kimchi plates and 5 potato salad, both of which were delish! The other options were picked daikon rounds, pickled chayote and corn salad. They also serve a salad, and we requested refills without salad dressing to enjoy with our meat--they don't offer salad wraps here. The sauces were the weakest point. There's a sweet soy, fermented soy curd, and mayo sauce. If you want sesame oil, ask them and they have salt at the table--sesame oil and salt will always be my best options! The soy curd was prepared, so it tasted different than I'm used to. Had a lovely time over meat and soju. So glad to welcome this to the neighborhood and can't wait to come back for another meal!

Yelp
Service was great. Our server was brand new and she was attentive and friendly. The place is a cute spot for date night. Food hmm so my stomach was tore up after eating this food. The brisket was tasty added their Korean salt too good. The shrimp i got the spicy one and it was okay could've been seasoned better. The pork belly wasn't good. The rice was okay added salt and the teriyaki sauce. The corn was good. The mashed potatoes had carrots in it and cold -2/10. The spicy chicken was not good either. The ramen was good broth was nice and spicy. Pretty basic. Food overall 3/5 just know ur stomach might hurt after.

Yelp
This was our first time here and there are some big Pros and Cons. Let's start with the food. So the pro is the meat servings are larger than many Korean barbecue places I've been to. For instance, instead of just little strips of steak, you actually get a thin cut steak. Additionally, the seasoned meats were seasoned excellently. If we were only rating the meats, it would be a 4.25 star. The major Con with the food is they have extremely limited options. Even the à la carte menu is extremely limited. If you've been to a Korean barbecue establishments that offers robust choices, vegetable options and sushi roll choices; you are going to be very disappointed. Due to this extremely limited menu, I doubt we would ever be back. And at $42.99 per person it's a bit pricey for what you get. As for the service, it was very good. We were seated almost immediately upon arrival, and our waiter was a gentleman name, Kevin. He was young, friendly, and very helpful. He kept our grill nice and fresh and changed it a couple times. The restaurant itself was clean. Maybe a little dim for my own personal taste. I very much enjoyed the trolley that deliver the meats to the table. You could order meat at your leisure from the kiosk and within a minute or two they would arrive. The wait that you usually incur at other Korean barbecues is eliminated by that trolley. If they would add additional options to the menu, I would've given this a higher rating.
google avatar

Dana S.

Yelp
The best part about Chadol is the ordering system and the conveyor belt. They only offer the unlimited meat option which makes it simple. However, not all items are able to be ordered through the system, so it kind of defeats the purpose. There aren't that many meat options. They are also missing some critical side options. Spicy seafood tofu stew? What KBBQ doesn't have that? Also they offer a neon pink sauce made with gochujang; it's watered down with mayo and other stuff because "some people can't handle the spice" according to our server. Don't disrespect the gochujang at a KBBQ place. I think they highly underestimate their customers as well. I've never heard of someone getting KBBQ and complaining that a sauce is too spicy.
google avatar

Quenton B.

Yelp
The sides were some of the least impressive when compared to other Korean Bbq. The staff was friendly. Although we had to ask the manager to sit where we wanted to. The conveyor belt ordering is very fast. They change the grill when cooking chicken for cross contamination. Tips 1) Park in the big parking lot near the Theatre, there is not much parking near the restaurant 2) The servers will help cook the meat so make sure to cook the food well or have the server do it. 3) you will need salt, the meat is not seasoned.
google avatar

Yelp
This was my second time doing Korean bbq and I really enjoyed my experience at Chadol. Our server was extremely attentive and very helpful with cooking the meat as well. There's a tablet at the table to you can order your meats from there and a conveyor belt delivers it to the table. Everything comes out very quickly and very fresh.

Yelp
So this place doesn't have as much on their menu as other Korean barbecues I've been to, but for what they do have on the menu, the food is really good. The ambiance was really nice and I definitely loved the music that they were playing. It was like a mix between 90s and 2000s r&b, Hip hop, and top 100, it was great. I really like that. They validate your parking, since you do have to pay for parking. And the service was top notch. They were constantly coming over checking on us to see if we needed anything and they even helped prepare the food. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

Yelp
It's nice to have more Korean bbq spots pop up IN the city. Chadol did NOT dissapoint! It's nice and moody inside. Great for a date night or dinner with friends. It's also across from Metro bar and beside the Alamo so you can do dinner and a movie. It wasn't busy when we went but I can definitely see this place being booked up! The service was perfect. You order from a screen at your table. I loved how the food came out on a conveyer belt kind of thing which was cool. You got to see what other tables were getting too! Our waiter was very attentive and kept checking on us to make sure we were okay. The food was FRESH. Definitely coming back here soon! Give it a try!

UPDATE: The owner reached out to me personally and have apologized for the incident. Although what has happened was unfortunate, I appreciate him genuinely caring for his customers.

Yelp
Came to Chadol BBQ with 5 people on a Friday night. They don't accept reservations but gave me an estimate of 20-30 minutes so my friends were able to go to metro bar. The wait was only like 10 minutes which was super nice. The decor of this place was cute and the host and our server were super friendly. The banchan we got was really good, we got some pickled vegetables, salad, potato salad, radish, and corn. The meat itself was decent. The pork belly was okay (pork belly we overcooked) but our table really enjoyed the bulgogi that we kept ordering it. I also liked the brisket.
google avatar

Kim J.

Yelp
Came in during opening week and was impressed! They do offer parking validation. You should validate with your parking spot and license plate before entering. The restaurant is nice inside. There is a small waiting area and bar when you first walk in and then the tables that go further back than I realized. Our server was very hands on and told us he would help us cook the meat we ordered. He had suggestions on which were the best to try. They also had various items that you get an unlimited amount of. The kimchi was a hit at my table! Overall, we enjoyed our experience. There were some meats we preferred over others but everything was yummy and plan to go back soon to try more dishes.

Yelp
Experience was absolutely amazing. Staff were great and hands down the conveyor belt delivering the proteins was an unexpected touch of class. One of the best KBBQ experiences I've had and the food was top tier. Drink selection is also carefully curated towards the menu which was *chefs kiss*. Great vibe, and all around top tier restaurant. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Came to Chadol on a Sunday around 4:30pm for dinner and had an okay experience overall. The restaurant was empty when we arrived so we were seated immediately and a server came over to explain how things work. They do all you can eat here which is great but it can be confusing what that includes. You order your meat from a tablet at your table but can only order sides and chicken with your server. This is super confusing as some of the items you're supposed to do through your server are still on the tablet. We ordered chicken from the tablet then waited 20 minutes and flagged our server when it didn't arrive and he informed us that we have to order chicken through him. They cook the chicken for you to avoid cross containmentation. Makes sense but it's super confusing and I would prefer to order everything through a server or everything through a tablet. There's also no function on the tablet to call over your server which is frustrating since they come by less often because you order everything on a tablet. Anyways, our table was the only table with no sauces and we didn't notice until the end so all the meat was nothing but bland bland bland. Even the pork belly was pretty flavorless (and we got the seasoned one!). The bulgogi was the best and was the only meat we had that was properly seasoned/marinated. All the sides were tasty but so small for two people and we never got more. According to other reviews these are also bottomless but that wasn't our experience. Very small basic things were amiss for me during my time. Only having one really tiny plate for endless meat and having to constantly ask for plates, the lack of toilet tissue in bathroom, the missing condiments on our table. The ambience was dark and cute but boring. The music was too soft to hear and there just wasn't much of a vibe. The drinks were good! I enjoyed what I had but thought it wasn't good enough to be $18. It should have been more in the $12-$15 quality wise to me. Not many N/A options. Our server was really friendly. They really need a button on the tablet to call over servers though if they're doing the conveyor belt thing to deliver meat. They are still new so maybe they'll work out some kinks. I wish they had some ala cart options because there's no way I'd do the endless meat ordeal again. They don't have boxes so you can't take home what you didn't eat. I understand not wanting people to order a ton of stuff just to take home since its bottomless but not letting people box up after paying is just a waste of food. Overall Chadol is fine. I spent $80 for endless meat I barely ate because it was so flavorless, one cocktail, and rice. Nothing was bad but nothing was really good either. Can't say it was worth it and probably wouldn't return but it was worth a try.

Yelp
I've been to many Korean BBQ spots, and this is the best I've been to. I went with a friend, and we had the kale and kimchi soup. I've never had as good kimchi soup - the kimchi wasn't overpowering, and there was so much flavor in the soup separate from the kimchi. I'd go back just for that! The kale cut was fresh and high quality. Service was great. Surprisingly, the restaurant was pretty empty when we went, but I hear there are usually long lines. The spot is definitely cleaner and more peaceful than most KBBQ spots. Will come back again!

Yelp
I went here with some pals and the quality of meat is very good. I'm glad them opened one in dc which is different from the rockville location but it still very good. They have offer great meat locations and sides. I do wish they have the soup included and lettuce wraps because that's the great korean bbq experience for the AYCE menu. Other than that great location and parking is validated. Service was excellent and the place was super spacious. We'll definitely be coming back again!

Yelp
I loved the dim lights and the vibes of the restaurant. It was very nice inside and aesthetically pleasing as well. My favorite meats are always the brisket, seasoned top blade, and pork jowl!! The service was also amazing and very informational. Would recommend!!

If you're looking for an amazing Korean BBQ experience in DC, Chadol is the place to be! The meats are packed with incredible flavors--each bite is better than the last. The service is fast, friendly, and super courteous, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're there with friends or family, the atmosphere is full of fun vibes and great energy with Soju all around! Highly recommend for a memorable meal with great company!

Yelp
The food was amazing. The cuts of steak were some of the best I've had in DC. I also loved the variety of sides they included. The AYCE price is $42 plus tax, which is a bit pricey compared to some of the other kbbq places around, but for everything included, it felt like a steal. In terms of location, it's definitely a great spot right off the Rhode Island station. The ambience of the spot was also very nice. The booths are separated, giving a very intimate atmosphere. Our sever, Kelvin, was also a great addition to our experience here. He was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
I'm so excited that there's finally a quality KBBQ restaurant in DC! The ambience is trendy with modern interior and a full bar which is definitely a plus. Each cut of the meat was top quality and flavorful. My favorites were the Top Blade Steak, Pork Belly, and the one that surprised me the most- Pork Jowl. It was my first time trying Pork Jowl, and I loved its unique texture- it tasted similar to pork belly but more fun to chew? Beef Kimchi Fried Rice was so good and a nice upgrade from regular white rice and the Corn Cheese was so buttery and savory. The side dishes were also all delicious and we definitely had to ask for seconds. To top it all off, the cocktails were amazing! I loved the Cucumber Watermelon Spritzer- it was so refreshing and the perfect amount of sweetness. They also have very unique seasonal drinks that are fun to try! The service was exceptional as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. If you're in DC and looking for a great place to enjoy Korean BBQ, this spot is a must-visit!

Yelp
I have visited here twice and enjoyed both visits. The meat is great quality - I especially enjoyed the pork jowl and soy top blade steak. They only offer AYCE, but it's a great value given the price. The service is mostly very attentive. I say "mostly" because it's only natural to lose a bit of the server's attention when the restaurant gets packed. Both times I went pretty early, before the dinner rush, and the service was super attentive the first hour or so because the restaurant was mostly empty. I also appreciate that the music isn't crazy loud or fast. It's a nice, chill ambiance and my friends and I would definitely come back.

Yelp
I went to Chadol DC with my 2-year-old nephew and we had an amazing experience. My server, Diego was incredibly accommodating and did an amazing job cooking! The food was well cooked, well seasoned, and the bulgogi was tender and perfect for my nephew to eat. We also got the pleasure of speaking with Ashim, a manager at Chadol. He was kind and attentive adding only good things to this experience. All in all, the food was amazing and the service even better (if possible).

Yelp
Service is top notch. There was a mix up during my birthday dinner but the staff went so far above and beyond to take care of our party. The food is tasty and speedy. Highly recommend this place

Yelp
Came here with my boyfriend for the grand opening and was blown away by the quality and the service! I'd already been to the Rockville location multiple times and was glad to see a lot of the menu items carried over! The vibes were amazing and perfect for a date night with the dim lighting and sectioned booths. Our server was Kelvin and we recognized him from the Rockville location! He treated us so well and took care of us for the whole night. He also made sure to answer all the questions we had about pricing, the food, and other accommodations! Pretty funny but we actually ran into him at a show at Echostage and he was just as nice as when we see him at the restaurant. Huge shoutout to him and we appreciate the Chadol team so so much! Hope to come back soon!

Yelp
We were visiting from virginia beach and wanted to have a nice last diner in dc. This place was everything we were looking for. Very clean modern style korean bbq. Our waiter Kyle was great. He advised great options and was very attentive. We especially enjoyed the spicy brisket. The waiters help you and pretty much do all the cooking but you order your meats on a tablet, which then come on this conveyor belt train. We also ordered the soju flight, which came with different flavors that we enjoyed. There was a good amount of bonchon sides and 3 sauces on the tables to dip your food in. If you enjoy korean bbq, definitely check this place out. We will be back!! Dont forget to park in the metro garage under the metrobar as the restaurant will validate parking for you for 2 hours at the hostess.

Yelp
I feel the side menu doesn't get enough love so I wanted to rave about it. I got the dumplings, spicy chicken nachos and kimchi fries and they were all so flavorful and completely satisfying. The chicken portion was fair and the side sauces made the dumplings even more delicious. I also very much enjoyed the ambiance itself - I felt I was in a New York- style vibe type of restaurant. I also noticed how the staff all worked together and I really appreciated that so I gave them extra tip for being hard workers.

Yelp
I've been to the Rockville location and I have to say that DC stood up to the same standards. The meat quality is amazing like always and the service was unreal! Everyone was very friendly and I loved the conveyor system going to each of the tables, it was very entertaining and delivered the meat very fast after ordering. The restaurant has an amazing ambiance, the music low and the temperature at a very nice setting so I didn't have to wear a jacket because it was too cold or have to wear a shirt because it's too hot. I would 100% come here again over any KBBQ spot in the DMV.

Yelp
Calvin was our server and provided us with a great experience and conversation. Meat quality is great as well. The ambiance was great and relaxed. Staff seemed to really enjoy their guests. We were only sad there was no Kimchi soup at this location.

Yelp
Good place for date night and small groups. The cocktails looked very good and the meat quality was really good. The validated parking was also a great perk.

Yelp
we initially had a great experience here. our server was very attentive and the quality of meat was great. unfortunately, we did get food poisoning the next day. we are pretty sure its from the ssamjang, as those of us who ate the ssamjang are sick and those who are not are fine. otherwise, decent restaurant!

Yelp
I loved this restaurant. First time having Korean barbecue. there were three of us in our party. One was Korean and to be fair, She did not love it as much as two of us did, but that was because it wasn't exactly traditional However, though it may not have been exactly traditional the food was very good. The ambience was nice and service was excellent. It was a cold night out in DC and would've liked some hot tea, which surprisingly they did not have. I think we were lucky in that. It wasn't too busy and we did not have to wait for a table. This was due to a phone problem where if you try to call the restaurant you got an answer that the phone was out of service. This is all you can eat and we tried as much as we could. The only thing we didn't try was any of the chicken dishes because they weren't cooked at the table and we wanted the table experience. We are in DC for business and will definitely go here again when we return. We did not have any dessert. I'm not even sure they had dessert but we were all way too full . I really liked the kimchi and the Ramen noodles were excellent as well. Several types of brisket, several types of pork, including pork jowl, which I've never had and butter shrimp for our main courses. the Little train delivering food was a hoot. A variety of condiments were on the table.

Yelp
Friendly and attentive staff, hands down the best kimchi around. Great meat options and bottomless sides that get brought out right away.

Yelp
The staff provided top notch service and the experience was the best. We enjoyed every aspect of the meats and sides.

Yelp
I've been to the Chadol in Rockville and was surprised that the menu was a little bit different here. They only offer AYCE here and you order the meats on a tablet and they come on a conveyor belt. The meats were yummy and tender. I especially liked the curry pork belly, brisket, and top blade steak. Definitely try the cocktails! The suffering bastard was my favorite!

Yelp
Food quality was affected by the method they employ. For example, they use one type of grill piece not conducive for the different types of meats. They wipe the grills down with napkins and don't change them out unless you ask which is the reason the meat gets over charred. Much need for improvement.
