Chadwicks Inn Maltby

Really lovely staff and pretty good service but the sole was really disappointing (especially given the additional supplement required). Very bland, no taste at all even though the fish was swimming in a cream based sauce. Vegetables were excellent and my partner said his roast beef was excellent although his Yorkshire pudding was slightly on the burnt side. Sticky toffee desert was excellent, dessert billed as crumble with custard didn’t actually have custard (it was more whipped cream) and the dessert itself tasted more like frozen key lime pie. We were a small table of 3 but saw lots of other tables served before us. Have been a few times in the past and food was much better, with more vegetarian options. Not sure we’d come again.

Visited Chadwicks with my wife for our wedding anniversary today. Such a lovely place and the food was amazing and the staff couldn't have been any more nice. We were looked after perfectly and even a lovely little plate of sweet nibbles with an anniversary message in chocolate sauce 😋 . Thank you very much 😊

I have been to Chadwick's a fair few times over the years and I can say that the quality of the food has never changed it's always been 10/10.serving seasonal fresh produce, I had the seafood risotto and that was incredible! Probably one of the best I've had tbf it was so good! Hats off to the chefs because they are doing some amazing things at Chadwick's 👏 safe to say I will always return to this little gem. Thanks guys!

One of the best food I've had in the UK for its price! Was fortunate enough to get a table during their teeside restaurant week's special (3 courses for 20). Terrine was amazing, reminds me of an asian dish that I grew up eating. It was just the good amount of salt, with a blend of spices 💯 Went for the pork main and it was savoury, not too salty, and the gravy had a depth of flavour that is 💯. Sticky toffee pudding was spot on. Great ambience, great food. What more can I ask for. Revisited after 7 months and did not disappoint! Fried baby squid was spot on! Flavourful aioli, crispy squid, with a really interesting sesame and bean sprout salad! Mussels were juicy, sauce was absolutely amazing! Dessert was chocolate ganache with banana sorbet. It was a delicate balance between rich velvety chocolate and the refreshing, not too sweet banana sorbet. 10/10!

Chadwicks Inn Maltby is a real gem of a place. We were a party of 10 celebrating a special occasion. The staff are extremely professional and the service was top notch. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was exquisite so much so that even a couple of our fussy eaters still managed to eat everything and we all left empty plate. A good sign to good food. Portions are of a good size and the wine pairing was excellent. So compliments to the chef and staff. Thoroughly recommend and 5 out of 5 for everything. I only wish I lived nearby as I'd definitely be visiting more times.

Had an amazing meal for my mum's Christmas present. We all loved the food and the service was great! Couldn't recommend it enough.
