Chai Thai Noodles Hayward

I ordered pad khee mao and end up it was pad Thai sauce in thick noodles. I told server to go tell the kitchen and he did told kitchen but they didn’t care . Server was really good but the kitchen don’t care any comments from customers. And the price was $17.50 . I have been eat a lot Thai food. And I work with so many Thai restaurants I know how pad khee mao should be also the potion was so small I’m so disappointed and won’t come back.

I recently dined at this Thai restaurant and loved it! The egg rolls, mango curry, and drunken noodles were all tasty and filling with generous portions. The Thai tea wasn't great, but it didn't spoil the experience. Definitely worth a visit!

SO good! Kao Poon is incredibly flavorful and our favorite. Service is amazing, always welcoming and so kind. A true gem, 10/10!

The restaurant was really cute with the lighting and decor. It was a little loud inside. I would suggeat sitting really close to your party. We ordered the calamari and shrimp and it was a little bland but the Chilli sauce made up for it. The Thai tea was really good and offered toppings like bobba or jelly. The pad thai was really good and flavorful. The service was alright. The call button was a very interesting touch but it made the staff less personable and distant. The music was poppin and set a really good vibe. All in all I would go back

Been here around 8-10 times, and food is always great. It's just weird that the last two times I was here, for some reason they didn't give me the dish I ordered so they had to make the dish I did order, so I had to wait a bit longer. Not a big deal, and like I said, food is great

The food was great and one of the best Thai places in the area. The ambience was great and the portion size was great as well. The flavors were authentic and the restaurant was vegetarian friendly.

DO NOT ORDER via APPS! The food is always completely different than sitting down in the restaurant. I have been coming here for at least 7 years. Dining in is always delicious. It's a roll of the dice when you place an order on the app. The meal I got today is pathetic. I ordered Pad See Ew, and it's...ew. The noodles are undercooked, they're completely stuck together in a gluey mess. The beef is barely browned. A gigantic disappointment, I'm NEVER ordering from here via an app again.

Came back here with family after coming a few months ago and an amazing time to a horrible time here this time around. Food was good but the service and hospitality was horrible and is a clear representation of the establishment as both workers (inside and outside were on the same level of rude based on their lack of customer service). Yelling at customers? Slamming things on tables out of anger? Taking longer on drinks because the order was wrong! Not coming over when called? Ignoring "excuse me ma'am's" ...all because drinks weren't made properly? Or spice level requests weren't met? Absolutely embarrassing and not right...l've heard of bad days but not like this!!

Chai Thai Noodle in Hayward is always a solid spot for good Thai food. The flavors are great, and the intimate ambiance makes it a nice place to dine. The space is on the smaller side, but they do have a bar area, which is nice. Service is friendly, though it can be a bit spotty at times. Parking can also be a challenge, so plan accordingly. Overall, it's a 3.5-4 star spot for me, but I'll round up cause I like them. Despite a couple of small inconveniences, the food and cozy vibe keep me coming back!

Chai Thai is a staple in the Bay Area, known for their delicious food and noodle soups. My go-to here is the roti bread with the yellow curry sauce and the Kao Poon noodle soup. I've been a supporter for many years, but during my most recent visit, the food quality and prices have changed. While the roti bread isn't as authentic as other Thai/Southeast Asian restaurants, the sauce is the best part as it packs a flavorful punch. The bread is very flat, almost like it was pressed in a crepe-waffle maker, and it's a bit tough to bite or cut into rather than having a flakey, soft, and more chewy texture to it. What was even more disappointing was the Kao Poon. I order this soup without the mint, bean sprouts, or roasted chilis. Despite that, my bowl of soup is usually still packed to the brim of the bowl with the soup and loaded with a bunch of cabbage and sliced chicken at the top with the most creamiest curry flavored chicken coconut broth. During this visit and to my dismay, the soup came out looking like it was made for a fine-dining restaurant (this isn't the type of restaurant it's meant to be) with only a spoonful and maybe a half of sliced chicken and a spoonful of cabbage at the bottom of my bowl, garnished with 4-5 carrot strands, cilantro, and sprinkled with some chopped green onion. The soup was not even close to reaching the top of the bowl, the soup broth didn't have the addicting flavor to slurp more and more of, and nor did it come with all the meat that it used to have. This may be suitable for others, but it's definitely not the amount or the quality that I kept returning to Chai Thai for whether it was dining in or ordering to-go. I had to ask the staff if management changed and they confirmed there have been a lot of changes recently, including the prices increasing a few dollars over the last few months but it's the chef that has been updated, which could be the reason why certain menu items don't appear or taste the same anymore. I get change is inevitable, but training people to ensure the quality or appearance of the food isn't too different than what made your restaurant is truly important. There's no question that the service is pleasant and quick. The ambiance is the same, they also have a happy hour menu for their bar/drinks too. As a local, I'll continue to support the business, but it may not be as frequent considering the big changes to some of my favorite dishes at this restaurant. Hopefully the team will reconsider how they construct their noodle soups soon.

Great food in Hayward, the noodle soup is delicious and big enough to share. It's tight place with tables a little too close to each other. The food was great both times I've been here and service too. Nice place for a casual lunch or dinner.

Was really impressed with the spice level of the pad kee mao. Usually when I ask for spicy, it's not that spicy. But here, they showed my Caucasian friend what's up. Lol! The Chiang mai noodles were really good. I highly recommend it!! It's like a combo of yellow curry and a noodle dish! The crispy noodles on top adds the perfect crunch too. Was a little disappointed with the milk tea because it was too sweet for me, but their boba was well done and chewy, not over cooked. Came in for lunch on a Monday, and there was no wait and we got served quickly. Would come back again!

Not sure what happened over the past couple of years, but Chai Thai is no longer my go-to Thai place. New chef, new owner? Who knows. All I can say is that I'm sad. Nothing taste good anymore, so I'd subjected myself to drive farther for the quality I deserve. I used to LOVE their tom yum, but something about it now isn't right. Also, their thai tea was so bad I had to send it back for a soda.... Less than mid and no longer a place I would recommend unfortunately for good Thai / Laos food.

Finally found a consistently good Thai restaurant, but unfortunately it's in the East Bay and far from home to frequent. I've come here a couple times already and have always left very satisfied of the entire meal. Plus, the staff's service is always very attentive and friendly. The usual dishes we order: - pad Thai: 4/5 - papaya salad: 4/5 - chicken sa tae skewers: 5/5 - green curry: 5/5 - Laos Kao soy: 5/5 Their spice level is not for the faint of heart.. aka me.. I typically ask for no spice or mild and even with mild I am suffering but at an enjoyable level. I also love their pickled jalapeños and their Thai tea. Can't rave enough about this place and am already looking forward to my next visit there!

My girlfriends and I ordered Chai Thai Noodles in after a recommendation from a fellow Hayward native and Thai friend. One of our friends said it's one of the best thai places she's tried in the Bay! For 3 hungry people for takeout and roughly 7 dishes - there were leftovers - the split was 51$ dollars per person. Our favorites were the whole fish (pla rad prig), barbecue pork (moo yang) and salmon mango salad. The pad kee mao was interesting - it reminded me of Chinese tomato beef chow fun. But everything was super flavorful and memorable. Our friend who is also Thai approved. Our friend who goes regularly says that staff are very friendly and the service is good. Looking forward to dining in and ordering takeout more when I visit my friends in Hayward.

I had the shrimp papaya salad, pad kee mao and khaknom jin nam ngiao. The service was attentive. The pad kee mao was very flavorful. The papaya salad was very tasty. I didn't like the khaknom jin nam ngiao (special pork tomato broth soup served with rice noodles, sliced pork, ground pork, diced tomatoes, pickled mustard greens, bean sprouts and shredded cabbage) that much. It wasn't that flavorful. Next time, I would rather try the kao poon or kao soy noodles instead. The ambiance was pleasant. Parking is limited.

Solid place for Thai food!! We ordered for takeout and everything we got was delicious. Will be ordering from here again! Pad Kee Mao (4.4/5) so flavorful and saucey. The noodles had a nice chew to it. Red Curry (4/5) Vegetarian Som Tum - papaya salad (4.2/5) refreshing and light way to start our meal. You gotta have it spicy :)

Came here for dinner with a close friend of mine. I wasn't hella hungry but my friend was craving Thai. We ordered chicken wings for apps and for myself, I ordered the roti with red curry and my friend ordered a spicy noodle soup. The wings were less than mid. They were huge drumsticks and not crispy. It was bland to mid. The roti curry was delicious but hella simple. Presentation was nothing, something I'd prepare at home, no sprig of tarragon or basil. The only thing that wowed me was the button at our table that we rang when we were ready for the bill.

Needed to grab Thai food for dinner asap (since other restaurants were closing) and decided to go here for takeout. I got here maybe an hour before closing and everyone seemed chill. I got my ordered taken in right away. 3/10 pad Thai. I was actually very excited to try their pad Thai as a friend had recommended it. The flavor is lacking :( 6/10 yellow curry. It was good, but flavor was not that strong. 5/10 Thai tea. You can tell they use the actual leaves which I really enjoyed. It was a bit watered down when I drank it. Not too sweet :)

Very solid Thai restaurant. Food came out super fast. Taste and quality is good. Portions and price point are decent. The parking situation is terrible though with only street parking. Even on a weekday night there is never parking in front. And the area isn't that great. Staff is efficient and friendly. (2.5 out of 5 The food is alright, a lot of it tasted old, food wasn't hot, and a lot tasted store bought. Service is okay, but slow. No knock at the ambiance. I usually have a lot more to say but there's nothing special about this place, I've been 4-5 times now and once was the food alright, many better Thai places in the area. Cute little spot off a main road, slim chances of getting parking in front. Their Tom yum noodle soup is what keeps me going, I get it with wide noodles and it's just so delicious! Service was decent, they have a bell at your table to ring for service. I typically order to go due to the lack of parking but it's really good so will be back soon!

* good vibe for family and friends gathering wt a quick service. * Kao Soi Thai style was ok (a bit too sweet for us) *Kanom Jean Nam Ngaio...wt no Ngiao flowers which they named the noodle after this ingredient. I know it's hard to find it in America, but the taste overall was acceptable *chive cakes, 3 pieces for $14 ToT and the wrap was so hard and chewy, not really enjoyed eating it. My bf got a bad stomachache right away afterward before we left the resto... I dont wanna write anything more after this, just use your best judgement.

Walked in upon luncheon opening hours. Clean restaurant and service was great! Ordered the red curry lunch special with tofu and chicken fried egg rolls appetizer. Well presentation and portion for the meal had a great ratio per serving of each dish and side. Spacious atmosphere and peaceful ambiance. Liked the frozen chocolate toasted almond macaron sweet treat as well!

Love chai thai noodles! The portions are huge and the flavor is just right. Cant go wrong with any dish and it's a great spot to eat either solo or family style. Service is great with there being a service button at every table. Casual eating environment, if it's a hotter day I might avoid it since there's no AC but besides that it's a great casual spot for tasty food!

My fiance and I were in the area and this cute Thai spot popped up as a popular spot to try - and I must say, this is a great spot to check out! The service here was pretty fast and overall folks were also very friendly. Once we were seated we ended up ordering: * Panang curry - this was delicious and had good flavor. There was lots of chicken and veggies which Ioved, and this also came with a side of jasmine rice * Pad thai with chicken - I am not a huge fan of pad thai but I really enjoyed the flavor here. My fiance and I loved everything and definitely over ate because we enjoyed it Overall, this is a good place with yummy food and well priced for the portions they gave. I would definitely go back!

I absolutely love the food here! I'd have more pictures if I had more patience but I eat the moment my plate hits the table. It's so darn good I've come back consecutive nights in a row. The Tom Kha Soup and the Pad Kee Maow are my go tos! I also love the curry's.. all of them red, yellow, pumpkin! If you have room the mango and sticky rice is pretty delicious. Fortunately the service is also great. Super sweet super attentive staff! They play really great 90s/2000s music every time I'm in. Oh and the local games usually on too! I'll be back for their daily happy hour 430-7!

Eggplant salad more dressing and kao poon - stick with these two. Tasty and consistent. Other items ok.

I've lived in the area for a few years now and stopped coming here because parking was difficult. More recently, I decided to try again, and the past couple times I've been lucky enough to get a parking space right in front. The food never disappoints! Love the noodle soups (Kao Poon, Chiang Mai Noodles, Kao Soy), Chan Pad Poo, and the mango sticky rice. They deliver on the spice level you ask for. And! Just like in Thailand, they have the spice condiments w/ chilis galore if you're about that life lol! Service is attentive and prompt. The ambience is cute and charming. Can't recommend this place enough.

(Late Review) but nonetheless...here goes Fuck it, this place deserve 5 stars. The flavor is there 100 %. I cook for a living, and I can tell you, these people know what they're doing in the back of that kitchen. The spices, the curries. Did I tell you about their Pad Thai? Ohhh man. That s*** was bomb asf! The seafood curry was spicy, tangy, ooooooof that was hella good. The place was packed on a regular Tuesday night. Ambiance and vibes are great! They had music bumpin. This place overall is a good pick. I will definitely be coming back here in the near future. I gotta taste all the items in the menu! Thanks for having me Chai Thai =] i would put 100 fire emojis but it won't let me.

I used to really love Chai Thai Noodles. Although no longer the case, at least the pork stew is still as delicious as ever. The dish consists of super tender pork with a slightly sweet sauce. Perfect to pair with rice. The papaya salad was good, but it used to really wow me. In all fairness It could be because this time around I didn't order it spicy. BUT....! The enjoyment came to a crashing halt because there were 2 hairs in the papaya salad. One ended up on my plate and one on my sister in law's. The Lao sausage was good. Pad se ew was good, but it wasn't mind blowing. It kind of felt like something was missing. This was the first place I tried pad se ew and really enjoyed it, back when they first opened. We ordered the kao poon, which was a let down. Our soup was served room temperature. Not even warm. I even asked for extra broth and explained the soup wasn't hot and what they brought was warmish. That's a big thing for me. This was actually the second time this happened to me here. They forgot our rice and it was hard to get help, even when waving to get their attention. There were only 2 other tables there and for the most part of our meal, just 2 tables including ours. Eventually we were solo. Our waters needed refilling and it was kind of like they just stopped paying attention. What they didn't hesitate to do was start piling up the chairs on the tables the second we got the bill. Very loudly, might I add. Hospitality 101- that's rude. And if they were such in a rush, let me point out that we would have been done and out of their way if they were more attentive.

Today I will have to give 4.5 but I can't give 5 since our waitress wasn't attentive. Possible due to overwhelming customers. Try a few new dishes: nam kao salad, deep fried chicken salad, pla rad prik, stir fried seafood and rose green tea. My all timer fav dish: pad Thai and papaya salad. With all these dishes, total came up to $127 included tax. Not bad for post pandemic. The quantity of each dish seems to be more than before which I appreciated. Worth the price. Hope every visit will be like this going forward as fast as as the food flavor. I have to say that I won't order deep fried chicken salad anymore. It was dissatisfied dish. Everything else was awesome. I took plenty of pics to share. Lets them guide you.

The portion of the food (to go) has decreased by almost half. They used to pack the noodles in; but the carrots and bean spouts have taken its place

Wonderful place for authentic Thai cuisine. We had excellent Nam Khao Tod, crab fried rice, Gai Kor, and Kamoo(pork leg stew). The Kamoo was a house specialty. The pork was so juicy and tender, and served with mustard greens and a spicy garlic lime sauce. The portions were not stingy, and the 3 of us had a lot of to-go boxes even after stuffing our bellies. We had also tried nearby Kao Som but we much prefer Chai Thai as here you are not slapped with ridiculous surcharges.

Walked in and gave my name for my pick up order and the guy just walked away and never came back so I had to ask another staff member. I waited 20 minutes for my order when it was sitting on the counter, ready to be picked up the whole time. Whoever took my order wrote my name wrong, so they kept looking for my name when it was under a man's name even though the text message I got confirming my order showed that the name I typed was correct. My food was cold so I had to microwave it. Poor customer service.

I love Thai food and picky at it too as I want the authentic recipes or as close to it as possible. Yeah I know to some, Thai is Thai but I've come to know that depending on where you live within the SF Bay Area some establishments cater to the palate surrounding them or should I say the clientele that eats there. No harm to that as your a business to feed the consumers that enjoys it. I've been living in the Peninsula for well Over 15 years now and there is only a few Thai places that I'll frequent do to the recipes. This place is one of them in my books. Yes, I know that to some it may not be but that's why we all have different critiques and aspects in life and our choices. Let's start shall we???? I'm a big fan of papaya salad, especially a good spicy one with the crab paste and shrimp paste, "Thai & Lao Style". It's a must have for an appetizer so that it can prepare my taste for the entree. The crunchy papaya smashed and blended with the Thai chilies and paste with garlic and tomato sauce, you'll have a network of flavors happening in your mouth and a rainfall down your face. Depending on how many peppers you choose. My entree is usually the Kao Soy or Kao Poon soup on cold days that will Instantly warm your belly up while comforting your soul. Kao poon is pretty much chicken and bamboo in a a rich coconut broth with a bit of spice. While Kao Soy is a combination of a variety of meats and vegetables. Also fulfilling to the soul. Other entree option I like is the Chicken or Beef Larb. Consisting of fine chopped beef or chicken flavored with Thai chili or red peppers along with fresh mint and cilantro and toasted rice seasoning and dresses with sliced cucumber wedges. It's my go to summer entree. With Thai food, there is so many options to choose from so you can't go wrong and or try it another time. This place is in Hayward on Mission Blvd and most of the time you will have a hard time finding parking. There is long waits sometimes so I do recommend calling in advance to see. Service has been on and off with my experiences but overall I'm content with it. With a average dining capacity of I think 40-50 it may seem Alot but it can fill up fast. Chai Thai Noodles is a cool spot to grab some Thai that's decent and hot. My family generally orders their food via DoorDash but this time the hubs and I were on the town and decided to dine in. The spot is okay. Nothing fancy, by far, but a cool quick lunch spot that will suffice for a business conversation. The restaurants ambiance is okay; it can definitely use a severe esthetic upgrade, but it's decent and the food is fresh and tasty. As for the service: it was, again, okay. Nothing to write home about or feel warm and fuzzy towards. It was adequate service; quick, sufficient, and to the point--no more, no less. Food: 3.5 - 4 stars Ambiance: 1.5 star Service: solid 3 stars Overall Total: 3 stars If I had to rate them with a grade, it would be a solid "C" for average. If you try them, the basil fried rice is good!

I usually love this place but this time I ordered on Grubhub and there was a bug in my food! I wouldn't be ordering on Grubhub from them again. I got the khao soi.

We arrived around 7:30pm, there was only a few other people there. We were in a party of 4. Pretty quiet, a couple games on the tv's. We ordered a bunch of food for the table. We were given Luke warm water while we waited. Food arrived fairly quickly, and it was delicious. I had zero complaints about anything. Nothing was greasy. We did have to ask for refills on water, twice. But that was the only thing.

We came to celebrate two birthdays and it was a nice evening with family ~ We ordered several dishes of pad thai, sausage, mango sticky rice, pad see ew, etc etc. The bill came up to about $230 for 8 adults and 2 children. It was a fair amount of food and it was a good deal. The service was not the best though. Otherwise, this place is a good go to for food ~

Chai Thai Noodles offers an incredible array of authentic Thai dishes going well beyond noodles. We started with the Som Tum Lao, a salad of shredded papaya and tomatoes mixed with a funky fermented crab paste, served with rice noodles, cabbage, and lettuce; and the Yum Pla Muk, a salad of spicy calamari mixed with red onions and herbs in a tangy lime chili dressing. One of my favorite dishes was the Kao Nam Tod (Rice Ball Salad), made of super crispy broken fried rice balls mixed with preserved pork and peanuts, and served with mint, cilantro, and lettuce on the side for making wraps. The bits of rice in the salad were extremely crispy, and the pork sausage added a nice tangy flavor--this was one of the best versions of this dish I've had in a while! But it wouldn't be Chai Thai Noodles without some noodles, and the Khaknom Jim Nam Ngiao was a noodle soup made of rice noodles in a pork tomato broth, topped with sliced pork, ground pork, cherry tomatoes, shredded cabbage, preserved vegetables, and herbs on top--a hearty, savory, delicious meal! Overall, the flavors here were all authentic and on point, and everything came at a great value too. I only wish I could've tried more of the menu!

Living in Hayward for 18 years and how come I have not left a review for this place! This is my go to spot for Thai in Hayward. I have always had good service and food here. I can't speak for to go or food app deliveries. I have only been here to eat in. Parking can be a headache and I get scared exiting my car with all the traffic coming down Mission. 5/5 Crispy Duck Panang with rice is on point. Little crispy duck pieces with fresh veggies in Panang curry is bomb! Wish the portions were bigger and there was more duck for the price but I love it so ill pay whatever the price is lol. 4/5 Pad Thai I like the pad thai here since they use a thinner noodle compare to other places. Knocked one rating for portion size. 4/5 Coconut Thai Tea Refreshing and interesting taste. Just had clumps of coconut milk so a little unappealing. Overall I definitely will be back to try other dishes.

Great Thai in the East bay! I have a go-to delivery Thai place closer to my house but I wanted to give a new place a try. Chai Thai has a great menu, from appetizers to curries to noddles. I ordered Pad Thai with pork, side of fried eggs and an order or chive cakes (gui chai). The food arrived ready to eat and all was delicious. The Pad Thai had great flavor. I love when you get a nice portion of each of the ingredients; meat to tofu to eggs to green onion to sprouts. Each bite had everything. Can't wait to order again from Chai Thai!

Ordered from DoorDash. Sadly to say I did not enjoy the food at all! My curry seemed very watery . And my pad Thai was very soggy! I haven't ate here in a long time, I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.

A friend suggested this place to meet up for dinner and not being familiar with Hayward at all, I thought it was definitely off the beaten path. Parking is limited to what's available on Mission Street, otherwise you'll have to park across the street in the shopping mall. We got there before the dinner rush and we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and engaging and he even offered suggestions when we asked. We started our dinner with the curry roti dip and ordered pad mi kuer (spicy eggplant) and gai him ma parn (cashew chicken). Everything was so good, I couldn't stop dipping my roti in the curry dip--it had a nice creaminess. The entrees were generous in portions and balanced with protein to vegetable ratio. There was enough for 2 people with leftovers. I would not hesitate to return if I am in the area again. It's definitely very good Thai food and worth checking out!

Grilled shrimp papaya salad to-go $15 and some change. Good flavor and amount of papaya but there was a whopping (3) small shrimp included that are CUT IN HALF. Not worth the price at all.

Tried ordering from here again. Unfortunately, our chicken Larb was entirely unseasoned-- like they just didn't put anything on it, it was just ground chicken. Also, we ordered pa ram chicken and they gave us tofu instead. They have a history with us now of being careless about our orders, not bothering to quality check or even make sure we're being given what we ordered. This was probably our last time giving them a chance. So disappointing.

This place is absolutely amazing and I come back here every time I'm in town. Staff is very friendly and helpful, food is absolutely delightful, and I just can't get enough. Curry Roti: 100% Get!! The yellow curry has just such a perfect balance of a creamy, savory, little sweet, little sour. The only thing I wish was more roti! Kao poon and Kao Soy Thai: Also definitely get!! Similar to the above, these noodle soups are just so wonderfully bright with flavor but this time with a little more spice and a little more acidity. It's just utterly: close your eyes and mmmmm Server even noticed that I didn't have much broth and then gave me a extra side which is much much much appreciated. In my opinion these dishes are some of the best thai food in bay area. Food: 10/10 Service: 9/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Value: 7/10

Decided to try a new Thai place and this spot did not disappoint. We ordered the calamari as appetizer and then the pumpkin curry and pad see ew as entrees. The pad sew was supposed to be spicy but wasn't but they were happy to give us hot sauce and chilli. Both tasted really good! I also really liked their Thai iced tea with coconut cream!! I would definitely go back!

I confess, I'm a Pad Thai snob. But Chai Thai Noodles has me bowing in admiration. This isn't just a lunch date, it's a love letter to Asian flavors. hair strand , bugs and what not in food. this restaurant got lot of issues. i am not sure why the hell doordash got it on their thai list. i ordered and now so worried. eewwww!!!! if i find antyhing or they not following my instructions we have a problem.. doordash u are done then if i find bug or hair strand in my food.

This is such a great hole in the wall in Hayward. So glad I stopped by for dinner. Parking is hard to come by so you may have to park across the street. I came here with a friend for dinner and I was so surprised my the menu selection. It had many items that other Thai restaurants don't have. Be sure to ask the waiters for recommendations. We ended up getting the pad kee mao and the pork stew dish (recommended by the waiter). Both were delicious and came out very fast. It was plenty of food for two. Next time I'm stopping by, I bring more people so we can try more from here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The eggplant salad was delicious, and the crab pad Thai was exquisite. However, we wouldn't suggest the chive cakes. Overall, the experience was delightful. Don't forget to complement your meal with some Thai boba!

Solid Thai restaurant in the east bay. The portions are good for sharing. My husband and I ordered three items: 1. Chan pad poo (crab pad Thai) 2. Tom kha 3. Pineapple fried rice Chan pad poo is a rice noodle dish tossed with eggs and a bunch of Thai flavors. The Tom kha was perfect for a cold day. It's a soup filled with chicken, mushrooms, cilantro, lemongrass, and my favorite part, coconut milk! The soup is slightly sour and spicy. Pineapple fried rice is savory and sweet filled with cashews, raisins, and of course, pineapples. A lovely meal enjoyed for two. My belly is happy and satisfied. It's even better that I can enjoy this meal tomorrow because we've got leftovers!
