Chaman Mexican Creative Kitchen

We had a wonderful dinner here on our first night in town. We were made to feel comfortable and all silly tourist questions were asked. 2 for 1 margaritas started us off with some Sayulita Gauc on the side. Food came out fast and was delightful. We left so full just as the lice music was staring. We will be back and you should stop in too!

We had Tina as the hostess and server. She was excellent and professional. We met her when we had dinner here two nights ago and everything was excellent. The breakfast was perfect. Akaibo and gluten-free pancakes which were so tasteful. Would recommend anyone looking for breakfast lunch or dinner to come here and experience that's great restaurant.

You can’t ask for a better restaurant/ friendly bar on the north side of Sayulita. We came for breakfast, and we stayed for almost every other meal/moment. The beautiful boys at the bar treated us so nicely and respectfully and like family. They’re flirty and kind, just the right balance if you’re on a getaway with your sister. They had live music one night we were there with a heartfelt local band. If I end up moving here, chaman will become my home away from home for tequila or coffee or just a nice chat. What an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the energy, the vibe, the hospitality.... everything was on point. The entire venue is outdoors with seating tucked beneath beautiful trees, glowing string lights and stunning dreamcatcher-style installations and chandeliers overhead. The atmosphere feels intimate, whimsical, and effortlessly chic; like you’ve stepped into an artful garden oasis. The art throughout the space is incredible, adding to the creative, soulful feel that makes this place so special. We didn’t have a reservation on New Year’s Eve (bold move, I know 😅), but after about a 30-minute wait at the bar, we were more than happy. The bar alone is an experience!! palomas and daiquiris crafted to perfection, festive, balanced and smooth. Not a bad way to start the night at all. Once seated, choosing what to order was the hardest part because everything sounded amazing. We landed on the hibiscus tacos, quesdillas and the burger and WOW absolutely delicious. Creative, flavorful, beautifully presented and truly memorable. I’ve walked by Chaman so many times for brunch and dinner, always saying “next time,” and I’m so glad we finally went. From the magical setting to the drinks, food, and art, this place delivers on every level. If you’ve been thinking about it, go. Make the reservation if you can. And if you don’t have one, grab a cocktail at the bar and enjoy the moment. 🌺✨🍹 We’ll absolutely be back.

If you’re looking for a beautiful ambience and outstanding hospitality you definitely need to visit Chaman. The house cocktails are out of this world…I personally recommend the Copal which is made with.homemade rosemary syrup, tequila and fresh kiwi. The staff are warm and welcoming and the owner Cecilia came up to talk to us personally and gave our puppy some food and water. Everyone made us feel so comfortable. Special shout out to Tina for her hospitality. You need to visit when in Sayulita.

Terrible coffee, chilaquiles very spicy with no protein. salad dressing for the croissant sandwich was horrible. so sad to see such gorgeous place with terrible food quality.

We came here for dinner. It was a short walk from where we were staying. It’s a beautiful little place. Staff is very accommodating and service is prompt. The food was delicious! Personally, my burger was easily in the Top 5 burgers I’ve had, and I live in the Midwest (U.S.) so that’s saying something. I had to order dessert, which was also superb, and the presentation beautiful. All-in-all it was a great dinner, and I’d stop again if in the area.

The food and service here is second to none! The guac was super tasty and fresh. The Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. I can highly recommend. Thanks Chaman for a great meal 🙏🏽 Great music too!
