Chambacu Restaurant

A 11/10 experience!! 🙌🏻 In detail below - Spectacular and mind-blowing!! Those are the words I would use to describe this restaurant — everything was perfect. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome not only from the front of house but also from the chefs in the open kitchen. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, and the chef, the lovely Santiago, personally came to each of our tables, taking us on a journey by explaining the story behind every dish. The décor is aesthetic, with a strong sense of design that feels warm and inviting. The dishes, the drink pairings, the service, and of course the food — every detail was spot on. There wasn’t a single dish we wouldn’t have happily eaten more of, and yet with the tasting menu the portions felt just right. And it’s one of the only restaurants where the dessert truly stood out — creative, memorable, and perfectly on par with the rest of the meal (a huge contrast to the desserts which often feel like an afterthought in fine dining). We’ve been to many restaurants on the Michelin list, and this could easily be one of them — in fact, I hope it is soon. Truly one of the best in Barcelona, serving food that not only tells a story but feels modern while still deeply rooted in heritage. Thank you to the entire team. We will be back soon!! ♥️

Eixample’s hottest new restaurant has arrived. The food, the service, the decor, every detail has been carefully thought through with the customer experience in mind and deep respect for the authenticity of the ingredients the dish’s history and its heritage. We had the 55€ tasting menu which, with wine and coffee, came to 80€ per person (including tip) We could not agree on which of the 7 dishes was the most delicious: each one, beautifully presented, was brought to the table with an explanation of both the cooking method, ingredients and history. Every dish came with a story and none were superfluous or forced. The passion from the team was present on every bite. This was among the top five culinary experiences i have had in Barcelona to date. Just go!

Amazing spot! The interior is stunning and full of character, and the food is just incredible 😍 so flavorful and beautifully presented. What made it extra special was our waiter sharing the story behind each dish, which really brought everything to life. Can’t wait to come back!🤩

Chambacú is an incredible dining experience! The way it blends history, culture, and amazing flavors makes it truly unique. Every dish we tried was delicate, authentic, and full of flavor. The service was warm, friendly, and clearly proud of the story they’re sharing. The chef took the time to explain the origins, ingredients, and inspiration behind each dish. That level of care, along with the restaurant’s beautiful atmosphere, trully elevated the whole experience. If you’re in Barcelona and looking for more than just a meal, but an unforgettable experience, Chambacú is a must. Highly recommend!

We ate at a good number of excellent restaurants during our recent visit to Barcelona. None of them hold a candle to Chambacú. Located away from tourist centers and being quite new it wasn’t crowded but the food was right out of paradise. Every dish was a 5 star dish, we couldn’t go wrong. The owner/chef came out of the kitchen to charmingly explain each served plate to us. Service was also perfect. If this place doesn’t get a Michelin star or two soon, I’ll stop believing that the Michelin recommendations reflect reality. Without alcohol, and sharing every dish (including an amazing dessert) the two of us ended up with a 72 Euro check.

Food is perfect and every menu item has a story and history about it… highly recommended.. will definitely visit it again next time

The smoked meat was incredible & the tomato salad was full of flavour. The cocktails were creative and beautifully made. The staff were kind and attentive, and their wine recommendation was perfect. It’s clear that there’s a lot of care put into every detail, from the food, cocktails, wine selection to the service. I’ll definitely be coming back soon, especially to try the tasting menu
