The food and service here was great. The young lady at the register was super nice and friendly. She gave us a free slice of cake for our wait which wasn’t bad considering we didn’t call ahead. A guy came out the back and greeted us since it was our first time there. Would definitely come back.

Very welcoming restaurant as soon as you walk in. A bit of a wait for my order of gumbo but you can order online to have it ready by the time you arrive. The gumbo i had was more like jambalaya not sure what happened this visit bit I'm willing to give them a second chance if I am in the area again. My order didn't have any liquid whatsoever and this was right outside in the parking lot.

Very clean outside and inside of the restaurant. That matters to me. The attendant on the phone was very courteous and patient with me as I was trying to make up mind and place my order. Generous portion size and enough for 2. Fresh cherry tomatoes and a lemon wedge dressed atop the pasta I found as a great way to top it off. The garlic bread didn’t come with the meal and that’s fine at $2 a slice (I ate 2 slices) and they went well together. I enjoyed it and I plan to return. Support our small black businesses in our area🤏🏽!

OK, I'll start with the ordering process. I did not order from inside the store. Instead I used a third party app, DoorDash. The ordering itself was straightforward, not a problem. I did so as I sat in the parking lot because I saw the crowd that was inside the door. DoorDash said it would take approximately 20 minutes. When my order was supposed to be ready, I went inside and it was not ready yet. I think I waited for about another 10-15 minutes. This is not a complaint, just to let you know that the times may be a little bit longer than advertised. But the food itself was outstanding, the customer service beyond reproach. I could not ask for a better experience! Once I got home, I couldn't wait to try my shrimp po boy. And let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly. The bread itself, I think they must have made it in the back or they subcontraced a Subway. It was sooooo good. Just every ingredient on there was fresh and well done. One of the better po boys I've had in a very long time. I also ordered the seafood pasta, but that will have to be eaten tomorrow. I am well beyond the point of eating anything additional - although I did also get the red velvet cheesecake. All this is to say, this place definitely deserves your business. I visited This place for the first time on 4/4/2025. It was Absolutely the best choice I had made all week!! First The Atmosphere was welcoming and Very Clean and well maintained on the Outside. The Inside was didn’t disappoint either especially the cleanliness of the restaurant and the Dessert Case was so well lit the desserts made your mouth water. The Gentleman who I Assume is the Owner was very nice with his first time customer suggestions. I had a to take my time to look over the menu and I wanted more than one thing but was on my way somewhere else and was just grabbing a quick lunch. I had the Fried Grouper Basket with was 2 Filets and Fries! Omg the Presentation of the Food was amazing and the Fish was Fried to Perfection and the Tartar Sauce was the best part it was homemade and well paired for bringing a simple meal to a higher standard. I was amazed by the quality of the food and the Prices were Great as well. I would definitely recommend Checking this Place Out You won’t be disappointed.

As a true “FOODIE” and seafood enthusiast, I had an amazing experience at Champ’s. My meal was served hot and fresh, and the restaurant itself was clean with a fantastic atmosphere. The customer service was exceptional, with a friendly and welcoming staff. I’ll definitely be returning!

A must try. Black own husband and wife team. The food was very good. Cooked fresh to order and had a reasonable price. It's worth a revisit.

found my new favorite spot to Come for lunch. From the atmosphere with the welcoming and sweet workers down to the food. The place is a hit! The lady told me she made it with love and you can tell by the way it was seasoned and well packaged as well! Thank you so much guys will definitely be coming here more often!!

The food was great, the lady that took my order was so nice and gives good recommendations on what to try. I got the tray for $40 pretty decent price, the flavor is good not too salty nice hint of lemon and sweetness. Only thing I wish for was more sauce to dip the crab meat and potatoes in after a bite. But service was great food is great nice and clean inside definitely will be going back

Oh my goodness!!!! This was so good. I'd had been waiting patiently for this establishment/restaurant to open with hopes of great seafood... I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. BLACK OWNED AND OPEREATED Met the owners Lou and Erica. Pleasant, courteous and attentive. Plenty of parking. Seafood Chowder, Oyster Po Boys, Catfish Basket and did I mention the CRAB CAKE!!!! Yep....it was DELICIOUS Great portion size, seasoned to perfection. Simply awesome food, cooked to order and great service. Stop by and see what's on the menu. You'll be glad you did. Yes....I will be back!!!!

New restaurant that's been open for about three months. I was greeted by Lou when I entered. The interior is well lit and cheerful. Very clean ibith from the parking lot and insude. This is a to go spot so no interior seating. Got a few items off the menu which has a nice assortment of seafood items, po boys, chicken wings and a few sides. Got the crab cakes, a shrimp plate, catfish plate and some wings. Food is prepared fresh so anticipate 15-20 minute wait. Food was tasty, portions were good. My only negative was the "baby" wings but they tasted good so I wonder liner on that issue. They also have sweet potato and regular fries. Hush puppies were tasty too! Catfish was my favorite with two large fillets as the portion size. I also liked the fact that all the plates were garnished with lemon wedges and even lettuce under the crab cakes. Nice touch. Food was well seasoned and tasty. This spot is a very nice addition to the restaurants in the area and I'll definitely be going back!!

If I could give this place a 10 star, I definitely would. Found this place while searching Yelp for seafood options in the area. We ordered the fried shrimp basket, fried oysters, fried grouper, hush puppies and a cup of gumbo; all were delicious. The fried items were made fresh to order. The establishment is take out only, so we just ate in our car. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and learned they've been open for only a few months. With food this good, I hope more people come out and support them. The service was amazing. The cashier was very nice and the place looks super clean. Best of luck in this endeavor & we will definitely come back.

No indoor seating, to go orders only. We were waited on at the counter by a beautiful woman. She advised us the best way to get the most food for our money. Predictable wait of 20 minutes was accurate. A Sprite is $2.50

Black owned business on Cambleton rd Clean with great seafood options Get yourself a Po'Boy or a platter Fresh oysters daily and some of the freshest seafood on the south side Parking is easy however this is not a dine in establishment!!!!!! As promised, we returned for the full menu experience. We ordered Catfish baskets and added oysters and fried shrimp. The fried shrimp were as tasty as we expected. The catfish was not our fave. The coating has a sweet flavor, almost like hush puppy taste, that we did not prefer. Not sure if the coating is the same as the shrimp, it does not fare well w fish, if so. The oysters were fried way too HARD, like cracklings almost, that was disappointing. Also, had a piece of carrot cake, not my fave. Friendly service, by E is always a joy! They are still working out the reopening details, which is understandable. Food was 3 stars, and Service was 5 star

So, this is a new seafood spot on Campbell on Road in Atlanta in the Ben Hill area for those who know. The service was good, everyone was courteous and attentive. As the store name suggest, this spot serves to go food only which works especially on fish Friday..I didn't have to wait long for my hot fish and chips and shrimp.. Delicious!!

Somebody is lying ! Idk how these ppl got 5 stars but my experience today, definitely doesn't get that . Let's starts off with , I've called at least 10 times & not 1 answer. I finally just go in & come to find out, they no longer sell blue crabs. So I just order the snow crab & shrimp ! The worst mistake . The shrimp was 2/10 & the crab was over boiled ! Taste just like boiled water, cold, & flavorless. Yess they do provide a sauce on top but it doesn't taste like much. On top of that I ordered a drink that I didn't get. A true waste of $40 ! Now I gotta go find something else to eat.

Ist time at this brand new take out restaurant. It's clean and inviting and the staff was friendly. I ordered shrimps, macaroni and cheese, vegetable medley,and rice. Somehow they forgot to give me the rice but when I called them they apologized and said they would make it up to me the next time. There will be a next time for the food was flesh and delicious. The shrimps were jumbo size,lightly breaded and good the mac& cheese tasty and the vegetable medley was surprisingly different and full of flavor . The entire meal screamed eat me. I will definitely be a repeat customer and hopefully they will make good on giving me the rice. Please note this is a no cash/card only establishment.

The seafood here is phenomenal. The service is with a smile and the ambiance is that of a cozy beach or Oceanside pub without alcohol.

What's going on! Food was good and now it's closed till further notice!!! I've been here before and love the owner, food and atmosphere. Wish they would open soon and all is well with the family

This is a unknown gem! The gumbo is amazing! The crabcakes are loaded with fresh crab meat. Courteous Clean and Delicious!

Have had fried fish and shrimp. I also had grilled chicken and rice. They were both delicious. I will continue purchasing

I ordered the oyster basket and Mac-n-Cheese. The oysters were light and tasty, some of the best I've had. The service is great. They are friendly and patient. Orders normally take around 15 minutes. I highly recommend them.

I ordered online, and my food was estimated to take 30 minutes. Once i arrived, my food was waiting. I placed a large order. I was missing a dish, called the restaurant, and the issue was handled with compensation! The restaurant was clean inside and out!! Amazing customer service and food was great!! We will definitely be back!! Definite Recommendation!

This place has delicious food!!! I came here on grand opening and ordered a blue crab platter and snow crab platter. At first thought I felt the food was overpriced. But when I got the platters home BABBBBY. The price was on point with the amount of food you get. Everything was good. My only problem is when I came back on another day....no blue crabs. I called a 3rd time no blue crabs!!! Come on guys you all just opened!! I'm leaving 5 stars because the service and food is really good. Yes I will go back and keep calling to see when the blue crabs will be in stock. Oh I forgot I did go on another occasion and tried the crab cakes. They were very good. Loaded with crab meat. Please don't skip on the marinade.

This new seafood take out restaurant on Campbellton Road is absolutely great! The staff is courteous and very friendly. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The service is outstanding. And let me tell you about the food! I got the chicken and shrimp pasta. It was beyond delicious. Assuredly, I am going there again.
