Okay everyone we’ve been here before food was amazing. Service was good fast food loved. It went back after six months. Had the worst experience. First of all. It shows in Google that they are open till 10 o’clock at 8:30. We arrived when we arrived at 8:30 they said we had 15 minutes to order the kitchen is about to close. They were sending away people that were coming in to eat according to their Google. Now we place the order thinking it’s gonna be good food however we ordered the tandoori chicken. It was raw. I mean raw to the point when you bite into it by the time you get by the bone area it looks like the chicken was raw, like you would pull it out of the fridge. Now we ordered some Nann for my little one that thing doesn’t come out till almost we had the end of the food which was also wrong in the middle. We send the chicken back then they remade it for us which was charcoal on the outside. Maybe you could have eaten one or two bites in the inside. You would have to throw out the external pieces in my photos. You guys will get to see all what the food was served as and how much we had to throw out because you can’t eat. And in the defence when we told them that this was still bloody they said it’s food colour. Funny thing is they were talking in the back we could overhear them say why do we take the order? The Chef was overwhelmed from a table that came in before us I don’t think I’m ever going back to this place again.

Google
Been here a couple of times and had an average experience both times. We tried the Kulcha, Sarson ka Saag, Soya Chaap, and their Thali. While the Kulcha was good and fresh, the Chaap seemed to be made from frozen, and the Makki ki Roti was terrible and undercooked. When we complained, they replaced it with a stale one. The Thali looked good, but apart from the Chole and Tandoori Roti, nothing seemed fresh. Overall, the food was pretty average.

Google
Average place to enjoy north Indian food, nothing special here. The spices or taste is not according to Chandigarh!!! Interiors Chandigarh details were nice but not to that mark to make the atmosphere enjoyable.

Google
One of kind & best Punjabi food ever. Owner & staff are amazing. They will walk you through whole menu Road side Chicken is as closed as to road side dhaba chicken in India

So, I went there twice in 2 weeks. First time there were lot of people and order was taking ages but second time the crowd is less so it still took sometime but I can wait for a better food. Reading the reviews on wait time, I guess they need more people for handling the orders and making them. If you are going recently to eat there have patience for the food to come in and try to order food within a span of time. Second dish to be ordered when you get the first dish. So, you don’t have to wait in between for the food.😊 But the food quality is best if you really need a North Indian food quality. For sarso ka saag tell them to make it spicy because the medium one is too bland. I won’t recommend much on sarso ka saag and maki ki roti compared to other items I had. Amritsari kulcha, chap, paneer tikka are amazing. Whenever I am there I don’t miss Chandigarh ❤️ with all the memories I gather seeing the wall posters. I also met one of the owner Banda Bindaas Marvin Das. Amazing and fun personality.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, with soft lighting and calming music that created a relaxed atmosphere. The furniture was both stylish and comfortable, making the entire dining experience feel luxurious. From the elegant decor to the attentive service, every detail was carefully curated. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into creating a memorable experience here. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a truly pleasant environment.

Google
Worst food, stale salad, the kulcha has only coriander seeds on it, road side chicken was literally roadside, kalimirch chicken had only curry with raw chicken without any tinch salt present in it, when asked to add salt the staff said we cannot add salt from top(seriously!) and we even they refused to change or replace the dish, if you want waste your money then only go to this restaurant! PS - you did not give anything for free. You took back your bad food to your kitchen. Please mind the words when you say you gave free food. We paid every penny for what we have at the table.

We heard a lot about this place from friends and finally planned to visit this place traveling from Plano. It started to get busy when se got in and it had good waiting by the time we left. Ambience is good like very regular restaurant . Coming to menu looking at it we were like let’s order some Togo to.. we ordered mutton bhuna with extra roti , Amritsar I kulcha to dine in ..sarso saag with roti and fish Amritsar as Togo . Lady taking the ordered confirmed you want this as Togo also.. but they got us everything as dine in .. first came mutton bhuna and fish both as appetizer. Looking at that we understood confusion is with our order. We told them to get roti as we want to eat with mutton and fish and saag is Togo but again saag came as dine in. Roti for mutton came 30 min.. coming to taste, Fish , Amritsar kulcha and makke ki roti was good. Mutton was very average we have had much better mutton in Irwin . Chole was below average as the masala was not cooked properly and din had that authentic taste to it. Saag whole eating was having had some muddy feeling felt like it was not washed properly . Saag at end had to throw it .. Amritsar I

Yelp
We are so glad we decided to dine in here at this place. really good food and the service was excellent! Homely environment with very friendly staffs! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic Punjabi food.

Soham K.

Yelp
Excellent food. Authentic Punjabi cuisine. Lots of vegetarian and non vegetarian options.

Barbara K.

Yelp
Ordered take out and got 0 napkins or utensils!! what the hell? Food was ok. The paneer tika was good, but the garlic naan had 0 salt.

Noshin J.

Yelp
What a disappointment! We were really looking forward to this place and unfortunately it missed the mark! The ambiance was cool, something different and unseen, pictures in a cartoonish manner of existing Punjabi celebrities as a mural or homage of Chandigarh. And that was the only thing we liked! To begin, I felt as if the menu was trying too hard to be something other than authentic. All the known dishes had something unnecessary to describe it- deviating from originality!! We asked the server what are their famous dishes, he mentioned a few items to try but there was a HUGE push to order Indo-Chinese as it was their newest offering. (We opted against that, as we were interested in Punjabi food) We started with a Chole Buture (one of their famous dish) and Papdi Chaat along with sweet lassi. Now I've had my share of lassi, and this was the first time it was with Elaichi (cardamom) mixed into it! It was so off putting, but the yogurt was creamy and sugar consistency was spot on). When the chole buture came out, the buture was burnt, flat, and just not at all like it should have been- we called the server right away and they were nice about bringing another one out, but the second one was not much different (at least it was t burnt) the chole however were good, and it came with onions and agar. The papdi chat was neither amazing nor horrible- we ate it but were unfazed. We proceeded to order the "butter chicken" naan, and kulcha. However the butter chicken was sooooo watered down and tasteless that the gravy was literally dripping with off the naan! The chicken itself was not cooked properly and it tasted like it was boiled separately and dumped in the gravy. The naan was good and the Kulcha was burnt! Overall this place did NOT hit the spot for us and we will continue our search for authentic Punjabi food.

Shubha S.

Yelp
Have been here a few times now. Today my Roadside Chicken curry was not that amazing...a little bland and not enough chicken! The other things we ordered, achari mutto, Amritsary Kulcha and palak paneer were good.

Asjit H.

Yelp
Did hear about this place on FM, and since then wanted to try the food. However neither the food was good nor the service. After browsing their most sold and popular dishes we placed an order of Amritsari Naan and Chicken curry. They were out of Choley, so server just served the Naan with tamrind chutney. Since we prefer boneless chicken, their chef prepared a dry gravy with underseasoned chicken breast. The rice served alongside were stale from the look itself. When questioned their servers couldn't confirm anything and told "let me check with the chef" Disappointment at multiple levels. Ambience was just too old and gloomy and they had put cricket on a big screen with loud volume, not sure if customers have liked it earlier but it was just noise for us.

Yelp
This is a decent restaurant. Came here on the weekend and tried one of their specials: chhole kulche. It tasted great! The kulche was very buttery and delicious. The chhole was a bit spicy for me, but still tasted decent. Really liked the yogurt, onions, and sweet chutney that came with the dish. The only thing that could have been improved was the service. Took quite a bit of time (over 30 minutes) when one of the family members I came with asked for another item after the first order. Also, other than taking your order and giving the actual drinks/food, no one really ever checked on our table. Overall, besides the service issue, I had a good experience at this restaurant and would probably come back!

Yelp
During my visit to Chandigarh Wala, I was captivated by the beautiful Punjabi restaurant adorned with Punjabi celebrity posters. The ambience was inviting, accompanied by the pleasant background tunes of Punjabi songs. The attentive waiters enhanced the experience. I indulged in their delicious chole bhature, chicken starters, bullet naan, and roadside chicken curry--all of which left a lasting impression. To complement the meal, I savored a delightful mango lassi. For fellow chole bhature and naan enthusiasts, I highly recommend this place.

Mahima B.

Yelp
The ambience is just below average and the servers are pretty laid back . Good was ok not as hyped as it sounds . Cleanliness is a big negative on the restaurant . They are not clean and the whole place is under maintained . Would not really recommend if folks want to have a good family time . The sisters are less obliging to allot seats as well .

Ria B.

Yelp
It's so hard to find good North Indian food in Dallas, but this is it. Best Punjabi food i've had in the DFW area, Achari Chicken is a must!

Dillon K.

Yelp
Great food, friendly service. Came during Tuesday lunch and it was a great place to experiment with different dishes I haven't had before. If you want to sample lots of dishes, order a thali (2 chicken, 2 vegetarian, yogurt dip, 4 pieces of nan, rice, and a dessert). I also tried the papdi chaat which was really good and the road side mutton curry (bone in goat curry). If you don't like bone in your dishes, make sure to inquire though. I personally think the vegetarian dishes were the best, especially the lentils. Service was very fast and friendly and offered nice suggestions. I'm going to try different dishes every time I come here from now on.

Chirag K.

Yelp
Great food! Good service! Must try the Parathas. I had the Aloo Onion Paratha and it was amazing. Naan was fresh and awesome!

Rahul V.

Yelp
Great food, friendly service. Came during weekday lunch and it was a great place to experiment with different dishes I haven't had before. If you want to sample lots of dishes, order a thali. I am vegetarian and I personally think the vegetarian dishes were the best, especially the lentils. Service was very fast and friendly and offered nice suggestions. I'm going to try different dishes every time I come here from now on.

Yelp
Placed an order to go. Took 25 minutes to get there and waited another 30 minutes at the restaurant periodically asking for the status. Finally was informed they were unable to make the food that was ordered after inquiring a third time. Disappointed by the lack of respect for people's time and lack of accountability.

Rakesh S.

Yelp
Nothing stood up to the hype created for this restaurant. Ambiance is sub standard, Service was hugely delayed with a reason that they had one chef that too on a weekend and food except for 1 item every thing else was nowhere Punjab style . So overall below par experience for the distance and price .

Chandan K.

Yelp
This is a new restaurant in Irving. There used to be Aroma kitchen and it's built in the same place. The decor and ambiance is full of pictures on Chandigarh theme. The food is delicious. Service is decent. The flavors are bold and the portions are good. However, the only thing I don't like is that they serve food in disposable plastic containers. Now there are lots of studies that relate this to cancer and I'm not getting into that. However, this place charges same price as most other restaurants and then to be served in plastic containers is bit ridiculous and not at all appealing to me.

Kari B.

Yelp
This was such good Punjabi food. We had butter chicken, amritsari kulcha, and garlic naan. It was so good and very fresh. It's in a cute market by Patel brothers.

Sajjad M.

Yelp
Taste is Amazing blending of spices give you the taste of Punjabi food. Must try out place.

Rajendra P.

Yelp
They have very good Kulcha Chhole . We had a very good experience once ; but after that no good . Tandoori Fish tikka was cold garnished with a curry , very bad . Lachchha parantha was not good . Road side chicken was not good .

Prerit K.

Yelp
Great food for pickup. Tastes well though their prices differ too much on UberEats and their website.

Rajat G.

Yelp
We visited today in search of some authentic Punjabi food. The ambiance was decent, felt like we were sitting in a desi Punjabi style restaurant. Service was good too. Where they lacked in was the food itself. We ordered Chole Bhature, bhatura was good but the chole were too watery and reeked of strong garam masala, did not enjoy it at all, the quantity of chole was not nearly enough for the 2 bhature. Also ordered Road side chicken curry, the gravy was okay but the chicken was not good. It had smell and weird taste, didn't even finish the food. The best part of it was the naan, they were fresh and buttery. I don't think I will be going back there again.

Aayush S.

Yelp
Food was just really good, the Balti Paneer was mellow but flavorful and creamy, plus the paneer was very soft. the chole bhature had a nice flavoring to the chole and the side pickles n achaars. the amrithsari kulcha was also very yummy! the portions were biiiig with two of those 3 dishes comfortably feeding 4 (we ordered too much). The soya chaap was also just solid and well seasoned. you can tell they had an actual tandoor back there! owner came out to personally recommend some dishes! overall great experience

V P.

Yelp
Loved the cholay bhature and aloo tikki chaat. First visit, will go back to try other dishes. Fond memories of Chandigarh and the home-style Punjabi food. All the best to Pannu and Gagan.

Roshni D.

Yelp
Delicious. Finally a good and authentic Punjabi place. Chole n rajma, Yum! We've gone back twice already.

Anil P.

Yelp
Food is authentically delicious. Service is friendly. Ambience is good. All the good we ordered yummy delicious. Hope they would open another location closer to flower mound.

Neeta D.

Yelp
Great parathas and thali choices with everything made fresh and good food quantity. Definitely recommend trying out this place as food is a lot better than other Indian restaurants that offer Punjabi food. Chole, palak, naan, onions chutney , churned butter and yogurt were superb. Not the best kulcha's but it went very with chole. Staff is very courteous and place is clean and inviting. They have done a good job by bringing Chandigarh to Dfw. Definitely will visit again to try other items from menu.

M P.

Yelp
This was our first time placing order from this place. Whole tandoori chicken was burned. Our guest were also complaining and there was not much flavor to it. I don't understand if you know as a chef, food is burned why you even serving it? We also placed order for pakora kadi and that was just so thick like the whole curry is dried out like it was cooked few days ago. Customer service over the phone was good but food quality needs improvement.

Ekta T.

Yelp
I loved the aloo parathas , kulchas. Kheer and rasmalai were my favorite. Good staff great service. On top of everything it was a live music night with Indian band playing retro, Panjabi and original songs. There were also requests from the crowd. It was a such a nice change from having just a meal like every other restaurant in Irving. Great ambience with lovely food = must visit again.

Shiv H.

Yelp
Its not worth the hype. The food is just OK nothing wow about it. They use chicken breast pieces in all their preparation and is mostly overcooked & chewy. Guess what they charge a $ for 3-4 pcs of onions. I would avoid this place until they really improve on their flavors.

Rajesh G.

Yelp
I ordered Road side chicken and it came with Mutton. I then changed to Coriander Chicken. It was awful. It was very dry tandoori chicken pieces that were sitting around and added to the curry/sauce. Chicken was not cooked with the curry and had no flavors. It was disgusting food. Would not recommend.

Saurabh B.

Yelp
I had punjabi soya chaap it was so nice , very soft and very good flavour naan was also nice. Pkka punjabi swaado

Anant Kumar M.

Yelp
Food: It was very tasty. The spice level, flavor and texture of food ( Amritsari Kulcha, Dal Makahni, Mutter Panner, Vegetarian Sandwich, Fries and Jeera Rice) were perfect. It was perfect balance of taste without overdoing oil or spices. Service: Staff were friendly. They were taking ownership of attending clients. The staffs were handling some hardware issue and were polite in periodic updates in case of delay in order delivery. We loved this transparency and prompt communication. Ambiance: this is one thing which needs some attention. The store needs a seasoned operation or floor supervisor. I certainly going to re-visit them with family. Thank you team Chandigarh wale

Johonna M.

Yelp
Going back today for the weekend special Chole Bhature! By far my favorite Chole! Fast service and such friendly people.

J S.

Yelp
Not worth the hype created. Tried the chhole bhature and were just okay in taste . Absolutely Do not recommend the chaats, there are some Andhra restaurants in DFW serving better chaats actually . Will not recommend !

Govind S.

Yelp
Drove almost 45 minutes to this place from Little Elm, and the drive was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious and the paintings on both side walls brought back fond memories of Punjab! The paranthas were humongous and the chole bhature were tasting authentic Punjabi style. On top of that got to meet the owner Marvin Das of 104.9 FM. Sone pe suhaga! Definitely recommend to anyone in and around DFW. Dil khush kitta!

Vic C.

Yelp
Apart from one or two dishes, the rest are quite mundane. Furthermore, the service falls well short of expectations, and the ambiance lacks significance. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

Rave M.

Yelp
Marvin Dass from Chandigarh Waale is Amazing. We have order food from Chandigarh waale on multiple occassion at various events, including celebrity events and we have always loved food. This is also the feedback from 100s of people who attended our event. Its a shame you can't write multiple feedback for such an honest and caring business person.

Vimal B.

Yelp
Xcellent. Love to eat such yummy food daily. Food was tasty & blended with better service.

Mia D.

Yelp
Ordered on DoorDash n when dasher arrived store is closed!! Should have informed online that they are closed, total waste of time.

Jackie B.

Yelp
Food is very very good. Bruno is a friendly and courteous guy. Highly recommend a visit.

Dolly N.

Yelp
We. Visited chandigarh wale during weekday. We enjoyed our food and service. But they were out of amritsari kulcha ..so we visited again today for lunch and tried their chole bhature and kulcha. Their chole bhature were but amritsari kulcha was meh!! But the worst was service. We were not given silverware or water. Even after asking . Our chole bhature arrived n we had to eat it without silverware.. n then i asked our server again ( we were almost done with food) and she apologized n got it . But still no water.. 15 min passed after we were done eating we still did-not receive our second order!! When i asked our server what is going on .. no silverware no water only partial food came .. she said there are lot of customer.. mind u there were leas than 10 tables.. but if u cant serve 10 tables just put a sign only 5 customers allowed ... if their service remains like this .. i would not be surprised if this places closes down soon!

Manohar N.

Yelp
Nice mutton curry & Naan. Aloo paratha tasted very good. Kheer & fish fry tasted great.
