The 28 Best London Coffee Shops With Wifi For Getting Work Done

"At Change Please, the coffee is good, there are blue velvet seats to sink into, and a pink wall with geometric shapes that makes for a great Zoom background. It might be small but it’s never too busy or loud. You're close to Elephant and Castle tube station and, more importantly, great lunch options—Murger Han, The Original Caribbean Spice, and Beza Ethiopian Food." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

Change Please Elephant and Castle - Review - Elephant and Castle - London - The Infatuation

"At Change Please, the coffee is good, there are blue velvet seats to sink into, and a pink wall with geometric shapes that makes for a great Zoom background. It might be small but it’s never too busy or loud, and we’ve never had trouble getting a seat. You're close to Elephant and Castle tube station, and more importantly, great lunch options—Murger Han, Original Spice Kitchen, and Beza—over at Castle Square. Plus, this is a social enterprise which means even as you do battle with a spreadsheet you can feel good about the profits going to people experiencing homelessness. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute" - Sinéad Cranna

grace was an amazing barista to both me and my mom during our visit; we took quite a while to decide what we wanted and she had the most lovely smile on her face and helped us decide what was best (the gingerbread latte was a perfect recommendation) for us. i took a sip of my coffee before the photo because it was too beautiful to keep waiting, but that first sip was so delicious, the coffee was at a perfect temperature, the latte art was stunning, and the foam levels were just right; i had learned that grace was on her first week and was just absolutely shocked! her skills behind the bar made me assume she worked there for a while longer! she definitely made our morning and i 100% recommend going to Change Please just to see her and have a nice chat with someone who embodies sunshine so early in the day!

A last minute choice for a Sunday lunch before browsing around the area. Not a vast amount of options for sandwiches and toasties at the time we went, but we enjoyed the toasted ciabattas were picked out, alongside a giant cinnamon roll, mocha and matcha. We were told to pick a table and the food was served straight to us, we appreciated not having to wait around at the till. We sat along the high table looking out into the street. There's only about 5 tables, perfect for 2 people but annoyingly each table was taken by single individuals on their laptops

I come here regularly for a blueberry used matcha because they make one of the smoothest ones i have had. I didn’t even realise the first time that it’s a social enterprise for an incredibly worthy cause!

I was looking for a coffee shop to kill some time in the area and this spot was perfect when it started raining. They have 3 to 4 small tables and some bench seating, which is my favourite when working on my laptop, especially today with some sunshine coming through. I got an iced black for £3.50 in my own reusable cup. It was fine, not amazing but did the job. The place is very laptop friendly with sockets at most seats and wifi that is just an easy sign up form away. The speed was reliable too, so I could get some work done without any issues. They also have a toilet for customers, which is convenient. Just be careful with your belongings since the area isn’t particularly safe and don’t leave anything valuable unattended.

Re: Review I've been in a lot more since my initial visit and initial review. This has become my regular lunch break haunt. The staff are superb, greeting me with a smile and great attitude. They also remember my order every time, really makes a difference. Also I didn't really mention how great of a cause there is behind this company, 100% of profits going to help people who may be homeless to get on the job ladder. Coffee is great, matcha is great, they stock an array of pastries, snacks, and lunch items too. This is right round the corner from a big chain, do yourself a favour and pop here instead! <3

The male barista got my choice of milk wrong for the second time in a row without apologising. Last time the same thing happened. He then placed my chai latte on the other side of the bar and told me to go and get it. I asked him to pass it to me, over the counter, like he did the first time. He refused. Change Please, i would genuinely consider firing this barista. Second time he has got my milk wrong (these things happen) but then not to apologise, and THEN actively chooses to be rude and discourteous? Just horrible behaviour. Won’t be returning.
