9 Great Places To Eat & Drink Around Richmond - London - The Infatuation

"Chango is a little shop near Richmond Green specialising in Argentine empanadas. These hot pockets of goodness are cooked to order, and with fillings like beef and spicy chicken, ham and cheese, not to mention vegetarian options too, they’re perfect on-the-go snacks. And if you’re craving something sweet, keep an eye out for their alfajores." - puja bhattacharjee

Came across this cozy little place as we were returning from Wimbledon. The back garden seating was a surprise and is a perfect place for a good weather day to just hang out and relax. The empanadas were tasty, and had a good variety of vegetarian options as well - we got 5 different flavours. The barista was so sweet and didn't charge us for the coffee we ordered later, didn't catch her name but bless her! Would definitely returnhere again.

The empanadas are excellent and they have a good variety of interesting flavours that I had never seen before in empanadas. The chimichurri was also good. Would be great if they also had pebre. There's a nice small area in the back where you can see they've put effort into decorating. If they had more plants it would be even better.

Johan served me today! What a lovely gentleman! He spoke to me about the different flavours as I usually stick to the spicy chicken , the chimmichuri with that is so good !

The food is lovely but sadly it's not very warm and welcoming towards children. The gentleman serving us today just wanted us out of there and seemed very impatient and that's a real shame. :(

Delicious flavours and full fillings. We had 6 empanadas and a glass of wine, and always was delicious. Lovely staff too and very nice atmosphere. We will come back again!

A very welcoming and cozy shop. The price is worth it considering the effort and how delicious the empanadas are! Would definitely recommend and would love to come again.

Cute little spot where you can pop in to have a bite and coffee. They do some empanadas offers with beers/wine. Or simply go for the 3/4 pieces with chimichuri

The store front looked appealing so we went in for a coffee and an empanada. There were a couple of tables outside the store but otherwise it was takeaway only. Had to queue and wait for a while before being served. Staff member was polite and served the spinach and ricotta empanada after warming it up. Personally, it needed a bit more seasoning but went well with the coffee. Got them both in a deal of £4.25.
