"Situated on the fifth floor of Signiel Busan, Chaoran serves authentic Cantonese cuisine – more precisely its Hong Kong variety, which is based on the former yet characterized by the harmony of new flavors resulting from the city’s culturally diverse geographical contexts. We stayed here ( it is one of the Signiel Hotel restaurants ) and Had a quick lunch before our flight . Found out it is a Michelin guide 2024. After they seated us , they also offered 2 welcome drinks- one tea ( refillable ) and one citrus drink which I forgot to ask. Both were great . Service is great and the food is quick. It is a bit pricy but you pay for the service, atmosphere, and the quality of the food. I ordered the cocktail and it was delicious. Overall, I am happy with the meal.

It’s really over-rated especially when they shard their 2024 Michelin award. Service was poor. Saw their staff just standing there and not servicing us tea. It’s not like a busy timing. We have to ask numerous times for tea. Disappointed.

Absolutely delicious Chinese food. It's quite tricky to find the restaurant (Floor 5 of the building once you find the entrance), but it's completely worth it. Every item we ordered was fantastic.

미쉐린 레스토랑이고, 해운대 시그니엘 부산에 위치해있어요. 음식은 사진과 같이 나왔어요. (지금은 구성이 바뀌었을수도 있어요) 가장 기억에 남는건 총유면(葱油面)이에요. 총유면을 처음 먹어보는데 맛있어요. 총유면 먹자마자 앞에 먹은거 전부 잊어버렸어요. 부산 말고 다른데서는 안 파는지 찾아봤는데, 윗동네에는 없는거 같더라구요. 하.... 그리고 호두정과도 맛있었어요! 제가 예약한게 아니라서 어떤 코스였는지, 가격이 얼마인지 몰라요. 코스라도 최대한 기억해서 적어보자면, 애호박-딤섬-전복구이-크림새우-캐비어도미찜-고기(기억 안남)-총유면-후식-초콜렛. 초콜렛은 서비스로 드린다면서 나눠줬어요. 프라이빗 룸에서 약 20명이 같이 식사했는데요. 내부에 영상도 틀 수 있도록 되어있어요. 응대가 빠르고 정확해요. 직원들은 전부 친절해요. 딤섬 세트 먹었습니다. 좋게 말하면 간이 안 세고 슴슴하니 건강한 맛입니다. 딱 어르신들 좋아할 맛. 나쁘게 말하면 한입 먹었을 때 뇌를 탁 치는 와 하는 맛이 없음. 딱 어르신들 좋아할 맛. 그리고 이건 제가 방문한 날만 그런 걸 수도 있는데 평일 점심에 갔는데도 단체운운 직원들도 음식도 분위기도 뭔가 어수선함. 나도 미리 예약하고 갔고 단체도 미리 예약 하고 받았을텐데 바쁠 거 예상 못 했다는 건 변명이 안됨. 특히나 5성급 호텔 식당이 그렇다는 건 더더욱. 딤섬이 코스로 나왔는데 중간중간 텀이 길어져서 직원이 사과하러 올 정도였고 (물론 나중엔 죄송하다고 커피 서비스 받았음) 음식 설명도 직원들이 너무 바빠서 그런지 대충대충인데다 한번은 안 해주고 그냥 가서 설명 좀 해달라고 직접 요청함. 음식 셋팅도 찜통 열었더니 딤섬 엎어져서 굴러다니고 진짜 가관이었음. 등등 다 합쳐서 생각해보면 해운대이고 미슐랭이고 시그니엘이고 감안해서 한번쯤 기분 내러 갈 수는 있겠지만 다음번 두번째 방문은 없을 것 같습니다.

금욜 딤섬 런치코스 2인. 딤섬은 맛있다. 그외 음식들은 아쉬움이 남는 편. 시그니엘과 미슐랭에 편승한 맛이라는 느낌을 지울 수 없다. 접객과 분위기또한 평범한 수준. 트러플 딤섬 생각이 나면 재방할지도?
