I am extremely picky about my haircut, and after moving to Colorado over six years ago, I tried 10+ different places before finally finding Crystal at Chaps Barbershop. I’ve stuck with Crystal through multiple Chaps location moves because the quality and consistency of her work is unmatched. Crystal truly cares about her clients and the details of every haircut. She takes the time to get it right, and the results speak for themselves. This is hands down the best and most consistent haircut I’ve found in Colorado. I drive over 35 minutes each way just to see her, even though there are plenty of barbershops closer to my home and work. I also bring my 13-year-old son to Crystal, and even he recognizes the difference and understands why we make the drive. That says a lot. I highly recommend Crystal and all of the staff at Chaps Barbershop. Great people, great service, and absolutely worth visiting.

I've been going to Chap's for several years now, which should speak to the quality of barbershop it is. Within the last year, they've moved to a new location which has allowed the business to really come into it's own. The new place is great! It has a really cool vibe to it: plants, unique lighting, simple, good music, and very clean. You can really tell that the owner, Crystal, has put a lot into making the space one that people want to come to. Plus, every now and then she'll bring her dogs in who are two of the sweetest pups you'll ever meet. I've been seeing Trigio for the couple of years I've been going to Chap's. He does an excellent job. I have pretty thin and short hair, and therefore get a tight fade with a short 1 on top. As far as that goes, it's one of the best haircuts I've gotten. He's a good dude and clearly knows his stuff. While I've never gotten haircuts from Jake or Crystal, they seem like great barbers and have no shortage of returning customers. Overall, it's a very personable shop. Good people and good cuts - I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This place is great, favorite barbershop in Colorado. Ask for Oscar, the man is a wizard with hair! Best cut I’ve gotten in years, the homie Oscar is the real deal. Good value too, reasonably priced for such amazing quality.

Crystal is hands down one of the most creative , professional, passionate, hard-working, not only Barber/business owner ..but all around centered person overall I’ve ever met .. Her scissor work is off the charts as well as her skin fades. I personally have never experienced a better service overall anywhere else. I was looking for a new barber & tried this place. Got a great haircut from Crystal & the shop has a nice relaxed vibe. Located in a strip mall near Southglenn, it's a little hard to find but well worth the effort. I"ll be back. Highly recommended.

Needed a last minute cut before a wedding and booked an appointment with Trigio, who gave me a great haircut. He was friendly and asked enough about what I wanted to make sure the cut matched what was in my head, which he did a great job of. Definitely will be coming back here as my new regular barber.

Crystal gave me the best haircut I've had in my adult life. This was my first time seeing Crystal and she knew how to cut and fade my head to look good now and in the future. She was laid back and fun, but most importantly skilled. I highly recommend.

I recently moved to the University & Arapahoe ave. Neighborhood. I needed to find a good barber for my monthly haircut and thought I'd try "Chaps" on east Arapahoe. I like to support local small Mom & Pop businesses because I'm an owner of one myself. I did a walk in and not an online appointment which they prefer but they accommodated me anyways. Jake greeted me as soon as I walked in and immediately we struck up a great conversation. Needless to say he was very professional, friendly and did an awesome job cutting my hair for not knowing me or how I liked my haircut. My son and I got haircuts the week before Christmas - Jake was awesome - great cuts and super friendly. They were super busy and went out of their way to accommodate our scheduling mistake. Highly Recommend!

As someone who is from out of town and very particular in who cuts my hair, I highly recommend this place. Crystal, the owner, did a fantastic job in working with me and tending to me specific needs perfectly. She also made some great recommendations. Also, I had the opportunity to observe another barber work with a couple other clients and I'd say the service and quality of work is consistent across the board. This place has amazing reviews for a reason!

Very 1st time using Chap's barber shop. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and maintained a very high cleanliness and covid safe environment. My barber Crystal did an amazing job with my beard shaping and shave. My Wife and others can't stop complimenting me on how it looks, which is testimonial to her craft.

Extremely pleased. The atomphere was laid back. I went because my other barber started flaking out on his hours. Chaps was close and convenient to highlands ranch. My new go to.

I've been going to Crystal pretty much all year this year. The guy I went to at a different shop suddenly wasn't there anymore so I needed a new place and found Chap's. I'm glad I did! Crystal completely understands my vague ideas of what I want my hair to look like and helped me really get my style under control. I trust her so much I even let her cut/shape my giant beard and she's got it looking really nice. Crystal has a great attitude and this location is super convenient for me.

Just moved in the area and needed to find a new barber, thankfully I found this barbershop and McKade. He is a very talented and nice guy. I strongly encourage anyone to come and give it a try, I'm sure you won't be going anywhere else after. This is definitely the new go to. Everyone here is friendly and skilled!

Crystal has got skills. I've been everywhere in CO TRYING TO FIND A STRAIGHT RAZOR BARBER , with a blend game that is strong, crisp and old school. I found my spot. Now I go every week. Crystal and Cheyenne go down as top barbers in Denver. The best part , the drinks and vibe. Classic shop feels.

Best haircut I've ever received. This place is a hidden gem. Was in town visiting family and found on Yelp. Figured I'd venture by to see what all the hype was about. Called and got an appointment. Was super impressed. Got a high fade, long on top and a blend with my 5 day beard. Crystal made me look like a rock star. Next time I'm back in town will definitely stop back in. Worth every penny.

Can't say enough about how happy I am with this establishment and team. Best haircut and experience I've ever had in a barbershop. I came early for my appointment and they offered refreshments while I waited. Jake was my barber and he took the time to really understand the look I was hoping for before we even got started. The whole team was funny and made me feel welcome. I was nervous because I was cutting off about a foot of hair, but Jake and the rest of the team made the whole experience a blast. Been in the market for a new Barber and I must say I believe I found the one. Crystal is phenomenal!!! Works a great fade, great conversationalist and takes her time making sure everything is exactly to your personal standards. Called this morning she worked me into her schedule. Her shop is tucked back and super quaint which is what I like. She welcomed me with a cold beverage... a regular sat across from me that had been with her for 7-8 years. Obviously something to say there!!! Anyhow if you are looking for a Expert in their craft of style and hair you should look no further!!! Call and schedule an appointment because soon enough your going to have to book before you leave the shop. Thanks Crystal for the Awesome service and fade!!!!!!

Jake is hands down one of the best barbers in town. You will not be disappointed in service or style of your cut. Dude knows how to fade!! Crystal is amazing and very personable. She makes you feel comfortable and definitely takes care of her clients. I will be coming back here time and time again. You should too!

Worst place never go here , Stay away . Don't understand difference between a Scissors and Machine. Even though you ask for scissors they take up the machine razor which is eazy peeze. Please Even if you are trying to experiment Stay Away. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.

I've been coming to Crystal for the last 5 years to get my haircut, it's been a great experience every time. She does awesome work, it's a great value for the money, and the studio is always clean and ready to go. I send all my friends and family here, couldn't recommend it enough!!!

Just took my 2 and 5 yr old boys in for haircuts. They walked in looking like shaggy dogs and left looking all handsome and dapper. Cheyenne was amazing with them! I mean that. My boys do not know how to stay still and somehow she managed to give them the best haircuts they have ever had. Plus she and Crystal were both super sweet. We will definitely be coming back next time they need a haircut!

I have found a master cosmetologist at chaps barbershop. I am very selective with my hair and how it's colored. I have stubborn roots and it's hard to get my hair colored to perfection. Meeting Destiny at chaps as been awesome. I have had her color and gloss my red highlights. Wow just love her work and prices are amazing for the quality of her services. Thank you Destiny

Like other reviewers say, this place is all about giving you the great haircut experience. This person I should say, Crystal. Show up on time and you'll get to enjoy being pampered at the sink and in the chair, and shaved the old fashioned way, and the joy of a good conversation. Show up a bit late like I did, and you'll have to rush through some of the things like enjoying a complimentary beverage. You'll walk out of there looking and feeling great. Everything about it, was what a haircut should be, including the straight razor for the finishing touches. I thought it was a really excellent value, and I'm not the kind of guy to spend a lot of money on a haircut.

This barbershop is THE barbershop! Didn't have to wait and the appointment making process was super user friendly! The barbers were nice and really fun to have a conversation with. The actual shop looked very nice and put together and had a good vibe to it!!!

Capps Barber Shop is the best darn barbershop in the Denver Centennial area. When you need a GREAThaircut Crystal always comes through! What are you fools waiting for book now!
