A beautiful and intimate dining experience.
A small restaurant with warm and friendly service and lovingly-prepared, unusual food. This is possibly the priciest restaurant in town but the price reflects the quality of the dining experience.
The interior of this former chapel is modern but cosy. There is only a small number of tables; consequently, in the evening, it is necessary to book. Careful timing of arrivals seems to work to ensure that every table gets perfect food.
The restaurant's website explains their policy on the choice and sourcing of ingredients. Again, this seems to work to ensure top quality.
This is probably the most heavenly dining experience we've ever had. We were only in Hay for the weekend and live 4½ hours' drive away so, sadly, won't be able to return soon, but we definitely hope to at some time.
