Churrasco restaurant in NishiAzabu. First, as a Brazilian, I do not like that they name it as churrasco what actually is a "meat course". They bring the meat one by one and when you were offered all of them, they ask if you want one more among a certain selection of cuts, with a warning that they will charge you extra if you don't finish. I understand the will to do it from a cost saving perspective - but it breaks the idea of churrasco. Especially if they are charging more than some other churrasco places in Tokyo - without a buffet. Maybe they were having a problem on the day (I saw they using a fan on the churrasqueira), but the meat was not nicely cooked. Especially Picanha (いちぼ, rump cap) was overcooked and the waiter was cutting it way too thick. On the other hand, pineapple was undercooked and only offered at the end while it should be offered in the middle in order to help you digest fat. I also felt that feijoada was not nicely seasoned. The cheese is good, but they just give you a small piece that you can see that they do it separately on a grill. Anyway, not worthy it. Food is not bad, but for the price it is not worthy it. Lastly, another table was celebrating a birthday and the staff singing was almost sad because it was so quiet and non-energetic.
