"The Chardon hosts chefs-in-residence, who temporarily take the reins in the kitchen and who share a commitment to locally sourced ingredients. The result is a fresh, succulent score served in a lovely bistro setting paired with a fine selection of natural wines. Spot on!" - Michelin Inspector

Surprised at some of the reviews here because we had an amazing time at Chardon. The space is very small and cute and our waitress was very attentive. We did one vegetarian and one regular tasting and found both to be worth it and we were full. We also added the cheese plate which I highly recommend and the wine pairings. Coming from St, Tropez the price was reasonable for us but yes it is pricier than some other places in Arles, due to the aesthetic of the food. The only odd food to us was the sweet onion as dessert, but maybe we are not used to this as Americans.

Ate here as part of a Provence food and wine trip. It was spectacular! This was our first meal in beautiful Arles, and it didn't disappoint! The wait staff was young, energetic, professional, and very nice. We had a five-course dinner that was superb! This restaurant uses rotating chefs, so therefore you will experience some new things. We had never eaten any of these dishes, but they included fresh ingredients and proteins from the area. All the courses were delicious and interesting. If you're in Arles, take a chance on this little restaurant to enjoy a wonderful eating experience!!

A restaurant with a concept of not always having the same chef, but with residencies throughout the year. This gives a diversity in the menu, which remains worked with fresh and local products. Each chef will bring a new way to interpret these products. It is also possible to be surprised by the accompaniment of wine, which will give you tastes that are not presented in many other places. Surely one to the place of the city to do absolutely without having disappointment if you like to eat and discovery. The price is 45€ for the Menu and 45€ for the wine accompaniment per person. It's still a budget but for a great experience.

We have had a week full of nice dining in Provence, but this has been the best by far! Delicious, creative food and also very friendly service. Really loved it.

We tried this restaurant as we were curious about the concept of invited chef. I found this vegetarian menu not worth the price (32€ for a 3 course lunch menu). The lemon almond confit in the starter zucchini carpaccio was way too acidic that I couldn’t finish… The main dish was a soup which was good with interesting combination of flavors but the bad start still lingers… Service was good, except for one waitress who had a serving style of catwalk model that made us felt a bit ignored

Really cute little restaurant in the heart of Arles. They do kitchen take-overs by guest chefs so it’s likely you’ll experience a different cuisine. The staff were friendly and very welcoming.

Quirky place but a warm, professional welcome. Enjoyed some interesting combinations of flavours and ingredients. A good dining experience which I would repeat.

Such a lovely and charming place. I really enjoyed the surprising dishes well paired with the wine. The price is a bit on a high side but it was worth it.
