I recently went a saw a concert here, and I’ve been to hockey games here also. Pertaining to my most recent visit, it was completely full. Still, everything went smoothly. I got in easy enough. They have a clear bag policy. There was a good police presence, plenty of places to get food and drinks. The seating was relatively comfortable. I really like that they have cup holders. I only gave it four stars because the bathrooms were less than desirable and the price for one drink costing $17.00 and I find that to be outrageous.

Went to the Charleston Stingrays game. It was a great time. We were a part of a large group and had box seats. One of the attendants was not very friendly or helpful. However, the servers and the food were outstanding. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Iit was very easy to park and to get out of. The cops did a great job working it with traffic. It was amazing time!

We went to see the thorn excellent play. We did not appreciate in the middle at animission where they wanted us to send money to help children in other countries. I do believe personally that our country has sent enough money to other countries and we need to take care. Of the homeless people here our veterans, seau street and children homeless. There's so much we need to do in our own country for you to ask us to support others. When hours are you doing so bad? The play was absolutely amazing though. Excellent play, they need to leave their commercials. Out there was no place for that asking to help a country that we already send so much money too. And if you do the research, you will see the money that you donate. The children don't ever see all that money. I believe they only have to send 1% to be legal. Need to check it out. Once again, the play was excellent.

Been here several times. Show at 730, doors open 630. But you can't get into the seating area until 7. So the cram the hell out of everyone into the main hall and for a sold out show, it's just to many people in a small area. Just open the doors, your employees are already there. Do better .

It’s old but I actually like this place quite a bit. The hockey ops needs a lot of work, but that’s not the arena’s fault. I love how many bathrooms there are (limited to no waiting in line) the terraces for concessions is great too.

Went to watch a Stingray game. Seats were 106 GG seat 5. Nice arena. Big parking lot right next to the arena. ECHL games are fun to attend. They are affordable and it's two leagues below the NHL.

Yelp
Love going to watch a Stingrays game! Especially with VIP seats. The service was top notch. Super attentive to those in the section. The game was great to watch so close and winning made it even better.

Yelp
The good: plenty of parking, the fee is 10 bucks and at the end of the show getting to the freeway is another story. The acoustics are excellent, scenography fantastic, lights phenomenal The bad: Employees are courteous and friendly even at the bar where the selection is very limited with a collection of the worst cheap wines and I mean cheap to them because the price I pay for a glass is not but I am not here for a good wine, nobody is, it would be nice The ugly: who built this theater had not been to the competition, God forbid there is a fire because the stampede would seriously injure a lot of people, the Fire Marshal must've been on vacation faraway or there is no fire code around here. There is no middle isle so if you have tickets in the center you must climb over some 25 people to get to your seat in either direction, I am guessing each row has about 52 seats so if you are dead center it takes about 20 minutes to get to the main hall and another 10 to your car. This is about the venue not about the artist or performers. Maximizing the revenue by not providing a middle isle and cramming 200 extra seats is an invitation for a disaster. Hope it never happens

Yelp
The Charleston Area Convention Center on Coliseum Drive in North Charleston is a great event space for meetings and events that works well and provides everything that you need. I really like that they have plenty of parking available and you can get in easily when you need to. I have enjoyed all of the events I have been to here.

Yelp
I've been here a few times for various events. Most recently for a NASA / STEM festival of sorts. There are three majorly large exhibit halls and each one can hold separate events without disturbing the others. Staff is courteous, and the facility is clean and welcoming. Plenty of parking (free) which is nice. Easy to find off of I526 with various entrances and exits. Not to be confused with the coliseum where the Stingrays play, or the performing arts center where a lot of shows are on stage for an auditorium of seated patrons.

Yelp
Disney on Ice, not Disney but a production company who pays royalty. This was not a stellar performance, slips and falls and a sour faced skater who needs a different job. This particular show was. Somewhat confusing at times. The children in our group enjoyed it, that's what matters. The convention center is nice and the restrooms are pretty clean given the volume of people coming and going. Expect to pay $10 per vehicle for parking.

Yelp
I attended a political event here the other night. They had the concession stand open which was much appreciated because I was starving. I got a big hot dog and a small drink for $5.25 which was a pretty good deal for a concession stand. We were in exhibit hall A. It's a nice big space with restrooms. It was perfect for the crowd and rows of media that were stationed on risers.

Yelp
Think it is great that we have this in our town. From concerts to shows to festivals. I went for the home remodeling show where a friend had a booth set up. Great flow and plenty of booths set up selling their wares. Ample parking and for this event it was FREE!
