The owners, Jared and Whitney, are as warm and welcoming as it gets, and it was a pleasure meeting them along with their two wonderful kids, Charleston and Taylor. You can feel the heart, passion, and family pride poured into every detail of this place. The property itself is stunning—set on 30 beautiful acres, it’s scenic, relaxing, and incredibly family-friendly, making it perfect whether you’re visiting with friends or bringing the kids along. Second stop on our wine tour and definitely a favorite! Luis was very hospitable and knowledge about the wine. My favorite part was the tasting straight from the barrel! Definitely worth a visit.

I surprised my mom with the Italian cooking class for her birthday. We had such a fantastic evening sipping different wines and learning about pasta making & cooking! I loved that we got to eat each of the 2 pastas we personally made and barrel tasting. We will definitely be back for more tastings and to try out the new brewery!!

Luis! Charleston Taylor! Can’t express how enjoyed and educational this experience was beyond any other wine tasting! The location is beautiful and staff is beyond knowledgeable.

Seriously one of the best wineries I’ve ever been to! They are so friendly and you can tell how much they care about quality. Amazing wine, amazing vibes! Highly recommend if you’re out in the hill country!

Great experience at this winery! Laura was a great host with lots on knowledge to share. We had the pleasure of meeting Whitney as well when she brought out the amazing pizza. Looking forward to coming back to try the brewery!

Wow!! This place is incredible. We booked their newly added Italian cooking class….apparently this was only their 4th time hosting the experience and it was the most thoughtful and well organized event. We had such a wonderful evening sipping wine and learning about pasta making and all things cooking! You even got to eat everything you personally made. I love that it’s family owned and they put so much care into the guest experience. We will be back for tastings and hopefully more seasonal classes in the future!

Black chapel brewery Great food & fabulous environment! Owner was so friendly! We had the Butch pizza with added meatballs 10/10, mozzarella sticks 9/10, sweet chili wings 9/10. Beer: Nodelo 9/10! We will be back. Check out all the games to play! So fun!

THE BIG: Located in Johnson City, right off of the 290 wine strip. Winery + brewery setup. Plenty of parking in the lot outside. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I came here after our pickup party at another winery. The winery name is based off of the owners two children. For a tasting, it was a selection of four wines and then a full glass that you can revisit. The winery is also in the motion of building out a brewery so I can expect this spot to be bumping in the next couple of months. The ambiance was nice inside and they had these cool tables that made sand artwork. For the tasting, we got sangiovese, tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon and a pinot gris. We revisited the tempranillo. Delicious wines and we got to see the production facility for our last pour. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall a tasting here set us back around $38. Great ambiance and vibes and if you're in the area, definitely give this place a try.

Sparkling wine, modern space, friendly staff, vineyard and a brewery with pizza next door; what's not to like!? Highly recommend this spot where you can enjoy a relaxed environment with a glass of vino or a pint of brew. P.S. Wi-Fi & butterflies are free on site

Went for a private tasting and was thoroughly impressed. Guided by owner-operator and were amused, educated, and blown away by the quality of their product.

Stopped here for a wine tasting and it was amazing. So many good wines and we received a wonderful informative background on each from Laura. Would highly recommend.

We did the Blenducation with the owner. Great experience. Super friendly and wants you to get the blend that's right for you. The space is modern and new, and the brewery has great options on tap.

Super nice husband and wife owned brewery and winery. Several TVs makes it easy to watch collage football on a Saturday. Kid friendly and dog friendly. Large space for big parties. Great beers, wings, and pizza! Just wish it was closer to Austin.

Enjoyed the wine tasting, it was a little more special than the other 2 on our tour. Luis explained the correct way to taste wine, he shared his passion and the owner's passion for making the wines. The property, barn, food and live music were very enjoyable. My favorite part was learning about the wine barrels and the ability to make your own flavor. Thanks Luis for sharing your day with us.
