Yelp
Location is a little off the main roads in between Miramar and Mira Mesa, tucked into a great community with food, coffee, salsa makers, and ginger beer brewing. This spot is great at all times of the day, but my favorite time is when Charlie & Echo is open.
My first time ever coming here, was on a whim and purely based on how close it was to my house. Now I can't even count the times I've been, but being a part of the wine club just gives us more of a reason to go. The location moved from behind the cluster of businesses to right up front, with both an indoor and an outdoor seated area. The inside has a wine bar and multiple tables, with ones perfect sized for a date or a larger group, my favorite place is at the bar.
There are many wine options, and Eric the owner, is always happy to help make any selection for a glass in person or a bottle to go. He also creates an item called Project X, which go on rotating themes throughout the year : hops, sangria, spritzers, etc. I've had many of them, and I wouldn't select a favorite, because they are all so unique and exciting to try. We have bought many bottles and project x's to bring home, and enjoy them all the time.
The food options have been expanding over the past few months specifically. They used to partner up and have food available from Senior Salsa, but now they have perfect wine pairing options, with tons of cheeses, meats, crackers, and more. They also just added new options for their merchandise, including shirts, hats, and tote bags.
I heavily suggest coming here for anyone who likes natural wine, great conversation, and doesn't want to have to go far to wine taste.
