I am SUPER picky when it comes to Chinese food. Some places have greasy chicken fingers and dry rice etc or the way they season food is terrible. I must say I have two Chinese restaurants I'm faithful to which one delivers and the other is more a sit down restaurant since they don't deliver. They might do takeout, but usually looking for takeout I go for the delivery since don't want go out.
I've tried few other local Chinese restaurants and wasn't a fan. Charlie Chan's seasons their rice and everything just right amount, rice is NEVER dry even if you order at midnight. Chicken fingers area overly greasy or taste like they have been cooked in old oil, and their crab Rangoon are my favorite around. They stuff them with cream cheese unlike others that barley have any in middle and they are more fried dough that's flaky than anything.
Usually I split a plate with my husband and buy extra sides of items if wanted, but once and awhile we do takeout whole family which is 8-10 total and four being kids. So we get usually 2 large rice, 2 large chicken fingers, large crab Rangoon, large beef and broccoli, small chicken wing and small pork strips which usually costs roughly $60-$75 but feeds us all and usually have left overs for later or the next day. Other restaurants I've priced out to order same from and they wanted total almost $80-$90 for it. I know some can be funny when it comes Chinese too because of "stories". Charlie Chan's though I've gotten from for YEARS and never gotten sick or had food that tasted funny. Highly recommend try Charlie Chan's, especially if you aren't fond of other places maybe tried in the area.
