Charlie G's

Charlie G’s is for all the real G’s. It isn’t for everyone but if your a country G like myself then you will love this place. They have meal deals everyday, ask the bartender. They have $6 steak meals one day, $5 cheeseburger meals, etc. and must I say, they are damn good ! The bartenders are lit, Karen is the s h eye t. She comes off as a Karen at first but she’s really sweet and kind. Tip her nicely and say the pickle juice guy said to do so. The tables are real pool tables and you can get some good games in here, the downside is they smoke cigarettes inside so you will have to wash your clothes after a good ol night at Charlie G’s but the vibes are cool. Closes at 2 am so great for getting games in with the homies ! Best pool hall in FXBG. The corner left table is best then the right first table is the second best. Thank me later.

Review for the Bar side of Charlie Gas. Overall its a nice spot to hang out prices are great, foods good, Bartenders are great, Service is generally fast, LOTS of space to sit and move around. •It is a smoking bar, if you don't smoke / hate the smell its not the place for you •4 pool tables and a few Gambling machines •Plenty of tables inside, outside, seating at the bar, and seating at the pool tables •Plenty of TVs that are always playing multiple events/sports •TouchTunes music options •Women's bathroom has 2 stalls, only down side is there is terrible water flow to flush the toilets so it takes forever •It is ALWAYS a coin toss to see if it will be pretty empty or if it'll be packed there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

Thursdays are Rib nights! But I’m not gonna lie, pretty much anything that we’ve gotten here has been a solid hit. If you want a good meal that is well made and priced sensibly this is a place to consider.

Took a chance and decided to finally try this place out. First impression coming thru the door was the smell of smoke done know if they smoke in this place but you can smell it. Overall pretty clean looking place. Our server was wonderful very polite and engaging. The prices on the menu were somewhat average and to too high. The food on the other hand was average nothing really note worthy. I had the New York strip my lady went with the Rib Eye. The cook did manage to cook our steaks to perfection at medium well. They were tender yet didn’t yield much flavor. The sides were had were green beans baked brand and rice pilaf. The green beans and baked beans seemed to be right out the can. The rice pilaf was decent. We also had the fried shrimp which were very good the attempt made on the bang sauce was way off it gave the taste of pure French dressing still wasn’t to bad tho. The bacon nd cheese fries were excellent. This will be a maybe come back but not on the immediate return list.

Great meal. Special priced meals daily. Shrimp was delicious. This is their Friday special) 7.99 plus 3 something for a drink (must buy soft drink to get the special meal price). Excellent!!

Smoking allowed, pool tables in the back, and a roughly 30-foot long bar to the left when you walk inside. Nice, dark place to chill. There IS a seating area with bar stool tables to the right when you walk in as well. Food is alright!

So you want some delicious chili, eh?! Nope, not here. Hard Times Cafe has left and now it’s a restaurant called Charlie G’s. Was told the menu is pretty much the same as HTC (minus any signs of chili). The food was good, kinda pricey. Where this new restaurant excelled however, was the friendly staff. They were all down to earth with their customers, funny, genuinely happy to be there. If I was to go back it would be solely based on the friendly customer service...then the food. I hope they will make it, filling Hard Times Cafe will be a tough shoe to fill in that space. ✌️

Great pool hall and bar along with a separate restaurant. Tried their fish tacos and average at best. Way too much red onion.
