Wonderful place with a variety of items. Parking is not bad to locate a spot to park. Everything is fresh and easy to navigate. I brought a shopping tote for making carrying multiple purchases easier, also people had collapsible wagons for their kids and purchases. No pets allowed. This is a must go and purchase from the vendors / farmers. Very impressive.

Google
Amazing! I recommend going on a Sunday around 11am due to parking and the amount to see. Everyone and everything was amazing! Enjoyed the musical numbers near the flowers across the parking lot to win a free dessert (cakes and pastries). Would definitely come again in the future!

I live in Savannah, GA but my parents live in the area and go to the farmers market frequently. When I am in town, we always make a field trip to the market— I love it! The fresh produce is endless and you can even finish the shopping with a delicious hotdog or any other food truck offering present! Visiting in the fall is fantastic for grabbing some pumpkins, but going anytime is a special affair, I highly recommend!!

This farmers market has more than just produce. They also hold events. I watched a Can U Cook Culinary Competition. I bought mead and spices from local vendors. Each booth you could try before you buy. No issues parking. I was impressed how it was setup to keep traffic flowing.

I love this farmers market. Highly recommend TEMPLE RESTORATION. I’ve been getting my “rainbow” water from them twice a month for 2.5 years now and they have a really good selection of all-natural holistic stuff I absolutely love it. I support this company and everything they stand for through and through 🥰 check them out!

Any thing you want is here! Veggies, fruits, greens, 🥬, soaps 🧼, flowers 💐,natural alternatives…anything!! We were so excited to have found this place! We left with flowers, strawberries, honey, jellies, coffee, butters and yup you guessed it… soaps! Oh yeah, and flowers because what woman doesn’t like flowers?! Don’t answer that just in case 😉. I love flowers and anything that reminds me of my “green person”. Or as a famous psychiatrist likes to say “your vitamin person” the one who brings out the best in you not the worse. I hope you #enjoy yourself as you make the right choice to shop from the farm to your table! Until our next visit 😘. See you soon 🔜

Google
I love going here especially on Sundays because most of the shops are there. They have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables alongside pastries and juices. The flowers here are very pretty but also very pricey. One tip of advice would be to check all of the shops and compare some of the prices. For example a pint of blackberries was $10 in one shop and $6 in the other. The only downside to this is that for most of the shops they buy their fruit from a store like Walmart and then put it in a cardboard carton. Thats why 4 starts has to be set into place for this destination.

Juicer’s Heaven – Obsessed! I started juicing a few months ago, and on my way to another store, I stumbled upon the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market. I must say—I’m in love! The eggs here are so fresh they literally still have feathers on them! It doesn’t get more organic than that. The fruits and vegetables are incredibly fresh, and the pricing is fantastic. I’ve never found ginger this big and fresh anywhere else—absolutely amazing! And let’s talk about the turmeric… Finding raw and organic turmeric around here is nearly impossible, but not at this market! They have it in abundance at super low prices, which is a total win for anyone serious about juicing. This place is a juicer’s dream come true. The location is super convenient, and I can’t stop raving about the quality and variety they offer. Obsessed! 🫚🍳🪺🥚🍏🍎🧅🥬🥕🍠🥔🍋‍🟩

Yelp
Ever since my brother moved here a couple years ago to Charlotte, my mom and I absolutely love coming to the farmers market on the weekend when we visit! There's always fresh picked fruit, vegetables, bread, pies, and anything you can think of! There's even fresh local honey, medicinals for people, and beautiful flower arrangements for any occasion! What better time to get some for Easter weekend! We have a ring lady we always visit and we never leave empty handed. Her rings are beautiful and you can't beat the price for $10 a piece! She even has pretty bracelets and necklaces along with an array of stones for anyone and everyone to choose from! I got myself mom and myself some to bring back home. We also picked up some fresh fruit to eat for the weekend while we are here. If you're in Charlotte, don't forget to come check out this hidden gem!

Yelp
The Charlotte Farmers Market is the place to be if you love fresh produce, local finds, and the thrill of snagging the best picks before they're gone. It's got everything: farm-fresh fruits and veggies, homemade baked goods, beautiful flowers, and even some unexpected gems like a coffee stand and professional knife sharpeners. Go early for the best selection, bring cash just in case, and prepare to leave with way more than you planned.

Yelp
Definitely recommend Charlotte Farmers Market, this was my second time going and I always find new things to check out! Fruit is my favorite and their flower bouquets are the prettiest I've seen!

Yelp
This is my happy place in Charlotte. Mid week easier to get around without the weekend crowds.

Yelp
This North Carolina farmers market located in Charlotte offers locally grown produce, food and drinks, plants, arts and crafts, baked goods, and meats and cheese. Open Wednesday to Sunday 8-5 with plenty of parking. This open and mostly covered market is a friendly place to shop.

Yelp
Fun day at the farmers market, weather was perfect started iff cool and the gor sunny and warm. Great prices on produce. Picked up some purple potatoes, rainbow carrots and orange lentils. Tomatoes were huge and the price was cheap at $1.99 a pound. What a difference compared to California prices. Picked up some delicious juices like immunity booster and butterfly tea with some organic ingredients which made them good for my health. Also purchased some sour soap leaves for tea and moringa for wellness and health. Vendors are very friendly and welcoming, and also generous with their products

Yelp
Too excited that I forgot to take pictures. Prices felt like a steal except that $17 real watermelon. However I racked up on a variety of other fruits and veggies for under $20! Can't wait to go back. I also tried something new scuppernongs. They were a treat all week!

Yelp
Are you looking for gorgeous, beautiful, fresh flowers? Charlotte Regional Farmers Market is the place to be. Even during the holidays, the prices are reasonable; the bundles are lovely, and the vendors will typically do custom bundles per your request. Prices range from $20 to $40 The service is on point.

Yelp
Really wonderful Farmers Market and I love that it's also open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. One of the best spots I have found to get really affordable and fresh fruits and vegetables. Some of the vendors offer discounted $1 bags of produce which are perfect when you are cooking the same day or next day. I often find giant bags of beautiful tomatoes for $1 along with plenty of other goodies. The prices on fresh herbs can't be beat and there are several produce vendors to choose from. Also love the fresh breads, beef and seafood options. One of my favorite parts is the garden section where I can never resist picking up a big beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers for only $10. Very happy we have this place in Charlotte and that it's open year round!

Yelp
I only got the chance to go by once when in town. We got there in the afternoon so I'm not sure if stores had packed up and already left. The only trend seemed to be that everything was not cheap. I love supporting locals, but not if it's way more than a grocery store. Again, other vendors may have already left, but from the vendors there, knowing prices of what we normally paid made our visit very short.

Yelp
I'm a fan of supporting local businesses and fresh produce and this was a great way to do both. This is a cute place for grocery shopping, a laid back date, or a nice place to bring family. Parking is not a concern because there's plenty of room to park in the parking lot and around the buildings. There are about 3 sections of this farmers market: one section had things such as fresh produce, crystals, body care, coffee, CBD products, tea, alkaline water etc. The other section had a vegan bakery/savory goods, and body care, and creates. Prices at all booths were affordable and people were genuinely nice. Fresh produce ranging from 75 cents to a max of $8. The prices that were closer to the $5-8 range were fresh food items such as blueberries, strawberries, and peaches. I'm not sure of prices of the plants because it started to pour down raining. Some of my favorite booths was the man that sold the teas. He was super enthusiastic, passionate, and knowledgeable of his products. He let us sample a few teas and they were all good. Also, the people at the coffee booth were great and the coffee was delicious! It wasn't overly crowded and there was never a super long wait to pay for items at any booth. I ended up buying tea, produce, and a drink from the alkaline water booth. The market is open during the week as well. I will certainly be back!!

Yelp
Still my #1 get away on Saturdays. There are so many diverse vendors from microgreens to freshly made pork rinds. The Honey and natural juice stands have become my favorites. You can get your steps in for the day. It's always clean. I feel safe. I find it easier to bring cash ( to stay on budget and avoid the fees for using a cards ) and my own bags.
google avatar

Dana A.

Yelp
The good; they have a great selection of vegetable vendors, fresh flower vendors, and a couple of other eclectic items, mostly geared towards those who enjoy healthy, lifestyles and clean eating. There is a great mushroom vendor here, a really good bakery that sells some of the best quiches and desserts in the city, a knife sharpening spot, a couple of fresh beef and poultry dealers and some assorted vendors, like candles, bracelets, and tea. The bad: not every vendor is here all weekend, so choose your days wisely. Saturdays are probably the best day and before noon is most advisable if you want to get the best inventory. The ugly: even though most of the stalls are covered, this is mostly an outdoor spot. So on inclement or cold days, dress accordingly.

Yelp
I haven't been here in some time but glad to see the market is still here and some of the farms my mom purchased from when I was a kid are still here. This is a great Saturday morning trip before it gets to hit. You can find produce, meat including grass fed beef, fish and shellfish, cheeses, local honey, baked goods, plants and a couple of food trucks. You beat the heat in the mornings but it can be crowded Unless u come super early. The afternoons about 2 hrs before closing will have less crowds and better parking but most smaller niche stalls are gone.
google avatar

Yelp
Had a lovely morning at the farmers market! Booths took both cash and card. All produce looked fresh and came home with some peaches. Be sure to stop by the flower building and get a huge boutique for $20.

Yelp
One of Charlottes best kept secrets. Not only is the parking free, they have food trucks and vendors from all over Western NC who are sharing their products at the market. You can find honey, knife sharpening services, seafood, meats, breads, beautiful flowers and greenery, pumpkins during the fall, and so much more. The massive selection of fruits and vegetables leave you wanting to come back daily. They have some of the largest heirloom tomatoes and seedless watermelons I've ever seen. And, the prices are amazingly cheap. Everyone is very happy to serve you and help you select items that are best for your pantry. The vendors take card or cash which makes it very easy to shop. Saturday is not complete without making an early morning trip to the market. Oh, they have coffee also! The fresh grape juice vendor sells wine also. If you're not shopping local, are you even shopping at all? Check them out, you won't leave disappointed.

Yelp
There aren't many things we like more than a Farmers Market, and this regional one in Charlotte was very nice. On the day we visited there was an all-day slow rain, so that may have kept the crowd down ... but the farmers and other sellers were out in numbers. If and when you visit remember there are three buildings ... so don't zip through one and leave ... get to all three. Many of the Farmers Markets we see seem to sell a lot of non-farmers stuff ... like candles, and coffees. But this was a real Farmers Market selling just what was advertised. They had a number of stands selling the same thing - such as strawberries - so you could compare and contrast while you made your selection. But they also had lots of berries, tomatoes (heirloom and regular), herbs, watermelons, honey, frozen meats and fish, quail, duck breasts, many types of mushrooms, and ... you get the idea - all sorts of stuff that looked fresh spread over maybe two dozen vendors. This was in the first building ... while the second building had all sorts of nursery stuff ... flowers, plants, seeds, etc. We even bought some croissants and coffee at one table. One of the nice things here was that many of the vendors are there year-round. They have a permanent space and just come and put in their baskets of stuff ... so you can expect to see many of the same people each week. if you take a particular liking to one vendor, you can come back and revisit easily. The vendors are very good. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Wish I knew ladies name but she was amazing. Very funny and knowledgeable of all items in her stall. Thumbs up.

Yelp
Don't get out this way much but definitely great variety of vendors. The fruit we bought was so fresh - still the sweetest cantaloupe I've ever had!

Yelp
Fun place to visit. Lots of options for cooked food, produce, meats, eggs and dairy. Also a good assortment of Knick knacks like books, incense sticks, toys, clothes and other random things. I like talking to the farmers and finding quality items.

A L.

Yelp
Highly recommend getting your flowers from the farmers market. These bouquets are $20-30 and these would normally be like $100 or more from a floristflorist produce options are great too

Karen A.

Yelp
I love the variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. I also like the plant building. My grandchildren love the ice cream! I also like the baked goods available. Also fun to go!

Yelp
I've been to most of the local farmers' markets, and this one by far has the widest variety. You can find just about any kind of fruits or vegetables, but there's also so much more. In warmer weather, they open the greenery shed, where they have a nice variety of indoor and outdoor plants. They have a good selection of meats, seafood, cheeses, eggs, and baked breads, and holistic medicine (like elderberry syrup). The Craft Barn is one of my favorites, with handmade items, like soaps, jewelry, woodworking, etc. The bouquets of seasonal flowers are also value-priced. I have two complaints, however. First, there is only one entrance and exit, and traffic jams are common during the warmer months. Second, I wish they had separate sections of organic produce to make shopping easier. Honestly, I shop there less for produce than the other items for this very reason. Regardless, the selection is fantastic, and we visit the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market at least once a quarter.

Yelp
Living in the City Park Charlotte area, where the old Hornets arena was, this location couldn't be more convenient for our neighborhood. Based on that alone, I'm a huge fan. Additionally, they have pretty generous hours, whereas most Farmer's markets are open 1 day a week for a 4 hour window or so, this market has seasonal hours/days making themselves available 5-6 days a week (be aware that non-Saturday days, it's an extremely streamlined set of vendors). I come here regularly to pick up the following recurring items/purchases: tea, spices, cheese, soap, honey, Kombucha, produce and fruit. There are also plenty of people to get sweets from and of course there are florist vendors as well. It's a really fun place to walk around and kill some time, while supporting your TRULY local merchants. The facility itself is a little dated and could use a bit of a facelift. With all the residences being built around the market it would be awesome to see the open/vacant market place buildings utilized for something more engaging that gets people to stick around a bit, instead of the traditional in-and-out shopping experience. Maybe some type of small, sit-down restaurant--live bands on a Saturdays, or even little pop-up breweries. Would love to see what the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market has in-store for its next evolution as this area continues to change.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had only been to the Cotswold Farmers Market before finding this place. Definitely a lot larger than I expected, since there were lots of vendors, an area that serves food, and a greenery shed! There was a lot of variety and specialties, like food and treats for dogs. Although there were a lot of vendors, the whole market itself was easy to browse and find what you need. Definitely a very cool market, I will be back. 8/10 great for those who need one thing, so you can find what you need quickly
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Had to make the trip quick because we didn't know pets weren't allowed. Thankfully it wasn't hot and we got the above in less than 15 min from three different main areas. The flowers were unbelievable. If I had an event I would get flowers from here. Spectacular bouquets were available!

Yelp
Its muscadine season, so I chose this opportunity to visit one of my happy places on a Saturday morning. I have fond memories of coming here with my Grandparents and family when I was little. As an adult, I come for local fruit, vegetables, flowers, jam, meats but also because its nostalgic for me. I like to walk around the different buildings to check out that day's vendors/offerings. I find that their prices are fair and the quality of products sold is great! Theres plenty of parking available, vendors are friendly and some stands accept debit cards for a minimum dollar amount purchase, however cash is best. Theres an ATM available, if needed. I believe in supporting local and this farmers Market facilitates this for me. It is easily accessible from the airport, Billy Graham Pkwy, I77 and I85.

Yelp
This farmer's market is truly a staple of this city and is THE OG farmer's market. Years ago, I'd been here before when it was a much smaller scale and now it's a completely different ball game. There are multiple buildings that you can browse filled with flowers, fruits, veggies, coffee, soaps, etc. The flower vendors offer beautiful, big, colorful arrangements at three different price points: $10, $20, and $30. I have purchased a couple of the $10 arrangements and they have lasted for 3 weeks, tops. They are quite beautiful and big enough to be broken down into multiple arrangements should you want to stretch that dollar. The main area that houses the produce vendors can get quite tricky. Yes, there are signs that boast the vendors' names and what not, however, the tricky part is understanding whether or not all of their produce truly comes from the state of NC. There is one vendor by the name of Fat Boy's (they're located at the very back and cover about 3-4 tables) that gets their produce from various parts of the country. Now, for most, this isn't a big deal, but I'm just throwing it out there in case you feel inclined to ask. In addition to produce, you can browse for potted plants, handmade soaps, coffee, meats, and more. As mentioned in other reviews, BRING CASH! This place is definitely something you want to allow time for. Thanks to the varied produce (you can find some Asian fruits & veggies here), you may leave inspired to pick up something new for dinner!
google avatar

Doug B.

Yelp
Tuesday through Saturday this market is open but you really want to go on Friday or Saturday. It's quite possible with rubbing elbows with one of the many top level restaurant chefs from Charlotte but you have to get here a bit early, because the chefs get their wares and roll. But, even if you don't get here early you'll find some of the best and freshest produce anywhere. Oh and locally raised meats, eggs, honey, seafood and whatever else you're looking for. As a former chef and food truck owner, my wife and I love this place. Oh, and don't sleep on the knife sharpening guys in building 2.
google avatar

Kathleen D.

Yelp
This is such a cute farmers market! It's not a far drive away from Uptown and easy to find even for directionally-challenged, out-of-state drivers like me. I arrived on the earlier side on a Friday and there were ample free parking spots to choose from. To be totally honest, I visited for the free ice cream special. On select days within a 2-hour window, they offer samples of ice cream at no cost. I had a scoop of peach, and it was delightful and refreshing on a hot July day. Inside the market, there are many expected stands from local producers and enough goods to complete a full week's grocery shopping at once. There's meat, bread, fruits galore, cheese, and even a local winery. I hesitated for a moment in front of the winery, thinking of family's sweet wine preferences, and found myself indulging in a couple samples before purchasing two fruit wine bottles as gifts from the super, super friendly owner! I'd definitely recommend this open-air, down-to-earth market for folks in the Charlotte area.
google avatar

Mara K.

Yelp
Loved the selection but I would definitely come on a Saturday rather than Friday. People were still here but the number a vendors was so much smaller. Good prices for produce but expensive meat!
google avatar

Vee H.

Yelp
I decided to venture out to Blueberry day at the Charlotte Regional farmers market and it was a little different from what I expected. I pictured wall to wall blueberries, muffins, jams and recipes in a specific section of the market with vendors handing out samples laced with blueberry goodness; but that wasn't the case! There were a wide variety of vendors selling fruits, vegetables, flowers, soaps, wines and sauces! But no designed blueberry section! There were small pockets of blueberries mixed in with various other types of produce! I had to make the best of it and since I came here for blueberries I decided to purchase some for $4 to make my blueberry cake!

Yelp
I love that I can come and support multiple local businesses in one stop. My favorites and must stops when I come here: Dukes Bread: the best sourdough bread I have had in all of Charlotte. It's delicious, soft with a nice bite, flavorful and all natural ingredients. Their artisan bread is what bread should actually taste like. Toushea Body Boutique: The best and only soap I use now. Her soaps are handcrafted so perfectly and each fragrance is beautifully crafted. Bath bombs that are amazing and luxurious. Their are so many scents that we love - I can't pick just one. Me and my man literally fight over her soaps. We have to keep a surplus on hand. They lather beautifully and rinse off very well. VivaRaw Life: When Scott is running the booth, he is my favorite. He notices his repeat customers and takes time to engage in conversations with you. We are avid fans of their vegan cheeses and tonics. The flavors they are able to impart in delicious raw and healthy food never ceases to amaze me. The plentiful stands of produce is always in abundance. I have my favorite stands. I prefer the local ones that actually grow their produce. The produce doesn't have to be blemish free to be the best. I love that I can take home what I need and know that it's fresh! There are also plenty of local meat vendors too! I've learned that some raise their own animals and some buy and then have them processed to sell. So do you research and don't be afraid to ask questions. Bring your own bags, plenty of cash. Some vendors will take your cards but most of the produce vendors are cash only.
google avatar

Briana C.

Yelp
This is the cheapest way to get fresh fruits & veggies in Charlotte (imo)!!! The vendors are always nice and there is a large variety of items from Plants to meats & seafood! I love getting fresh fish and seafood in the 3rd building. I also love the plant building especially because the had fresh flowers and I can get a custom bouquet made if I like! Definitely a must to check out if you've never been!
google avatar

Anita T.

Yelp
Love this farmers market. I went recently in July 2020 around 10-11 am. It was HOT! Packed, and so many things to look at and get. On My next visit, I will be getting there as soon as they open. Parking is all over the place but in a good way. I found a close park to where I could go dump my bags and go for more when needed. From vegetables, to fruit, to flowers and tea, and much more. I will be back!
google avatar

Karla S.

Yelp
We went later in the day and some of the vendors were gone or packing up. Around 1pm or so. We were On a hunt for oyster mushrooms! They have quite a few, 6-7, and reasonably priced. I spent a third of what I normally have at the store and another market. We were also able to find peaches and tomatoes that were good too!
google avatar

Steven N.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday when the market has only about 1/4 of its weekday vendors. Still the produce selection was good and we enjoyed buying more vegetables and jars of honey, jam and salsa than we really needed. This is a great place!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Nostalgia really takes over here. It's been some time since I've been here and like fine wine, it's only gotten better with age. In the last two weeks, I've found myself here a half-dozen times! The market features 2 enclosed buildings as well as one canopy style shelter for "drive-up" vendors and one for local nursery/plant vendors. The time to come is Saturday. While it's the busiest day, it's also the day with the most vendors. Featuring everyone from local farms with super fresh produce, to a booth sharpening knives with cutting edge precision at rock bottom prices! That being said, there are still a handful of stands open during the week. These produce vendors represent many different farms and sell them as more of a distributor. It's somewhere between better than the grocery store, but you'll probably find a little higher quality from some of the dedicated farm booths. Saturday also features a couple of fresh rancher meat vendors. Food trucks have become more prevalent as well, along with a couple of different 'carnival' style booths featuring kettle corn, Italian ice, and fresh pork rinds. One thing to keep in mind is most vendors have a $10 minimum on credit/debit, if they take it at all. The ATM on site has a $1.50 surcharge fee. If you're a BoA customer, the closest ATM it at Tryon and Yancy st. Otherwise, I'm sure your bank of choice is not far away. This place has once again sparked the culinary creativity in my head and I've been cooking with fresh, local, and delicious fare now more than ever. It's a great destination for some weekend family fun and adventure!

Yelp
Great place.my mother has been going there for years. Went with her recently and it's a popular place now. They have some great produce, meats, and backers items. You can get some great deals. There is plenty of parking. Many places take credit, but bring cash. Good to know that many people care about local farmers and there is more of a drive of knowing where our food comes from. I like this shift and it made me happy to see more people there.

Yelp
One of my favorite markets! Best for: .... inexpensive $10 -$20 Flowers arrangements. You can pick your own bouquets per stem. I usually ask for a $10 bouquet of pink & fuchsia colors. .... inexpensive fresh veggies and fruit. The weekends are best to go! Check the seasons & weather. Current Hours October - April Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Yelp
Coming from Chicago, I didn't expect the Farmers Market in Charlotte to be impressive but it was. The fresh fruits and vegetables are so delicious. I haven't tasted fruits and vegetables this flavorful in years! I am definitely a forever patron.

George L.

Yelp
We went by on a Friday in mid April. Not many vendors, but the ones who were there had a good variety on veggies, jams, jelly, and fruit. The sellers were very nice and helpful.

Yelp
Love the on-site food trucks, and the fresh flower vendors are AMAZING!!! Also found THE best cupcakes here by vendor First Bake Me a Cake!!!
google avatar

Carolyn L.

Yelp
I went here twice and I'm in love.. first time on a Saturday and I was completely overwhelmed. Soo big and soo much ppl. But they have everything. Fresh flowers, local farmers with all kind of meats and eggs. Someone local that provide cheese to fresh bakeries. There's even a local vineyard. Now you're looking for something local. This is it. I came to get bundles of fresh flowers. And I asked these nice ladies to put together an arrangement. And for $20, it's huge and pretty!

Yelp
Buying produce from the Farmers Market is such a no-brainer, I'm not sure why I don't get out here more often... We could easily drop $50 for one week's worth of produce at Harris Teeter. The same haul (only more local, flavorful and fresh) at the market is $10-$15, max. See? No brainier. While we've never been disappointed with our purchases from any of the booths, my favorite vendor is Fat Boy. Their watermelon is the best I've ever had! I also love all the exotic, hard to find elsewhere stuff like Thai basil, kaffir lime leaves, bok choy, bitter gourd, etc. Oh! And don't forget to grab a beautiful bouquet of flowers. They'll only run you $10-$15 and last for days! I wish hours were a little longer year round. And, that open Sunday's until 6pm in the summer really meant fully open 'til 6pm. When we stopped in at 4:45pm last Sunday, it was a ghost town with only a handful of vendors still open/selling.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market. An abundance of great produce and vegetables. I did go as it was closer to closing time on a Saturday. Next time I will definitely come when they first open. BUT they still had so much food! They had an amazing selection and I got some amazing dragon fruits. Parking is good and there is a lot of space. The staff were also very nice and helpful. I definitely plan to go back and break the bank lol!

Yelp
This is an update of my past review. I continue to come back to this market over 2 decades. Was it impacted by the virus? Of course, what business wasn't? Luckily, things are close to normal, other than the mask requirements which is well followed by vendors and customers alike. This market is comprised of smaller vendors than the ones you will find in most of your neighborhood farmstands. The sheer amount of variety of local produce, meats, plants, cut flowers, handmade crafts and prepared food and drinks is astounding. The vendors come from several counties to serve people of all backgrounds coming here. I hear several languages being spoken by both customers and vendors. Bring your cash, or use the ATM on site! Though more and more are taking credit cards, not all do.

Yelp
Vendors seemed to be simply reselling produce they must be getting from a distributor. Most of the produce seemed older and not at all fresh. I expected to see a lot of actual growers offering fresh local produce. I was very disappointed. It was more like a flea market. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
I can't believe that I've lived in Charlotte for most of the last nine years (two years, I was in the UK) and I never went to this market. Heck, during my first three years in Charlotte I lived a half mile from this place. What a fool I was! We decided to get up reasonably early on Saturday and arrived at the market at about 9:00 AM. It was quite busy even this early but we managed to find a decent parking space. And then we started making our way through the sheds. So many choices! Fresh meats. Fresh eggs. Lots of tomatoes. Green vegetables. Fresh fish. Potatoes. Cilantro. Bread. Jams. Oh, my. I hit the ATM (only a $1.50 surcharge!) and we filled a shopping bag with stuff for dinner. Fresh trout, potatoes and broccoli. Just amazing. And the prices? Quite decent. Some vendors take credit cards, but most are cash only. Yep, it was our first visit. But it won't be the last!
