Charlotte Restaurant & Lounge

Brunch at Charlotte Restaurant & Lounge with my girlfriends was a wonderful experience. The brunch selection is excellent and the views are stunning — floor-to-ceiling windows on the 16th floor overlooking Seattle. Prices are on the higher end, and gratuity is already included in the check, so keep that in mind. We started with the salmon eggs Benedict, which was perfect. For dessert we shared three different options — the flourless matcha cake and chocolate mousse were especially delicious. Another big plus: they don’t rush you or limit brunch to two hours, which made it perfect for a long catch-up. There is valet parking at Lotte Hotel Seattle, but it’s often easier to find street parking or a nearby garage.

This restaurant really shines when it comes to atmosphere. The views are absolutely beautiful and make it a great spot for a special occasion or a night out. Dinner often features live musicians, which adds a nice touch and elevates the overall experience. The drinks are well made, and the servers truly stand out, always attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. I come here at least once a year, and the service has consistently been top notch every time. They also have a kids dinner menu which is nice. The food itself is decent but not the main draw. It’s good, but for the price point at dinner, it doesn’t quite match the setting. Brunch is solid and a bit more reasonable, though still on the pricier side. Overall, you’re really paying for the views, ambiance, and excellent service, which makes it worth visiting occasionally—even if the food is more “good” than “great.”

Reviewing based on FORBES STAR. first of all I made a reservation for lunch and came in an hour early so thank you so much for accomodating us we appreciate it. I want to reduce 1 star for one thing which i did not like it which is when i told a server that “my table is wobbling” which i hate it if i go to fancy place and this happens as a hospitality professional i also know it can be fixed easily by adding a Stabilizer at the bottom. Server said let me see what i can do and he forgot about it so my entire lunch dinning experience was not perfect as everytime i try to cut my food my table was moving up and down. This place is beautiful highrise food spot. From the valet, hostess, server and food everything was excellent. Restaurant was very clean and spacious with a nice centre flower piece and wine glasses around and i liked it as i am a wine guy. Hostess greeted us and asked about how are we doing, where we are from. Got bloody mary to start with which was perfectly garnished came on time. Food was excellent with a great presentation and super hot. I was taking my time to enjoy my food and even after 30 mins my food was still freaking hot which i loved it. I could not finish everything so server offered to pack it for me. Cutlery were marked properly and spotelsss clean before the food came as per the course. Uniforms of the staffs were clean and well hygeine was maintained. Tables were getting reset on time and hostess was helping the server to do it. Other server stopped by to ask how is everything with a great smile. Server never asked if we have any allergy or not since i am a vegetarian i appreciate it when a forbes restesurant ask this. Over all it was excellent experience i wish i could come back for dinner or breakfast to experience other side of session.

Very nice and fancy restaurant! Beautiful views of the city of Seattle from the 16th floor. Food is costly, so if hou come here, just know you will pay a lot of money. They charge a service fee besides tips. But the experience is worth it. The bathrooms were super cool! They were like a maze!

Charlotte Restaurant in Seattle is a standout dining experience that beautifully blends atmosphere, service, and creativity. The views alone are worth the visit—floor-to-ceiling windows showcase sweeping panoramas of Seattle’s waterfront, skyline and the iconic Smith Tower. It’s the kind of backdrop that instantly elevates the meal. We went here for my wife’s birthday dinner and we had a great experience. The service was impressive: attentive without being intrusive, polished yet genuinely warm. Every detail feels thoughtfully handled, from timing to recommendations, making the entire experience feel effortless and special. They even provide a little stool for a lady’s handbag. Our server, Gene, was very gracious and answered many questions about the restaurant and hotel, the chefs, prix fixe courses and ingredients. The cuisine is where Charlotte truly shines. The menu is innovative and refined, showcasing inventive techniques and unexpected flavor combinations while still feeling approachable. Each dish is beautifully presented and clearly crafted with intention, highlighting high-quality ingredients and a modern culinary vision. The Executive Chef spent some time working under Daniel Boulud, who would surely be proud of what comes out of this kitchen. Everything we tried was delicious, but a few were especially scrumptious. The parsnip soup is surprisingly good, nutty and earthy with a slight sweetness and not a hint of the sulfurous notes that can sometimes accompany parsnips. Torchon de Foie Gras melts on the tongue like the creamiest of butters and is perfectly balanced with the quince coulis, a true delight to eat. Both desserts were fantastic. The Stone looks like a garden stone but is actually a sublime sesame mouse cake that tastes a bit like halva, just less sweet. The Nashi Pear Tart is very good but needed something to balance sweetness and the pear’s delicate flavor was a bit lost among the other flavors; perhaps an apple tart would have fared better. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to enjoy exceptional food with one of the best views in Seattle, Charlotte delivers on all fronts.

5 stars because the French Toast is world class. The best we have ever had. I'm also a big fan of the burger (got it twice during our stay, including once for breakfast), although it might not be for everyone (IMO the pickled veggies were a nice upgrade from the usual tomatos and lettuce, adds a nice crunch and acidity to cut through the richness of the patty and sauce). The fries were generously seasoned and perfectly crisped. Not recommended: The Benedict on the other hand was a bit meh. The tomato soup was also too acidic.

Oh yes mama's back. Started off with some bread and a dollop of butter, salt, and honeycomb. Mmmmm I've only seen this in asmr videos! But really? Couldn't spring for more butter? At $9 a loaf? Next the scallop ceviche. OMMMMMM yum yum yum. That was soo fire. Now the main event. I thought to myself, let me try something new! I got the dover sole. First of all why the freak does it look like that. Why does it look squeezed out of a tube? You're telling me that's fish not a banana? The sauce was doing a LOT of heavy lifting. But it was good. Finally, the Loooove dessert 😋😋😋😋 mmmm i looove chocolate! Mother got the black cod mmmmm so buttery and the stone it really looked like a stone! And talk about that view! We saw fireworks from all the way up there. I guess we know who won!!! Hahahah

I’ve been here many times for happy hour in the lounge but I recently dined at Charlotte for my bday. The food was amazing, especially the short ribs. My chicken was cooked to perfection as well. The chocolate dessert was amazing. I need to dine here more often. 1000% will be returning. Thank you!

Had breakfast here 3 days during our stay and loved everything we tried. Had the chicken and waffles which was delicious and used brown meat for the chicken. Loved that the butter had Korean spice to it and the batter wasn't too heavy. It would have probably benefitted from resting it a bit longer to get more oil off of it and the waffle could use a bit more flavor. Eggs were consistently fluffy. The crab toast with a jammy egg was difficult to eat but delicious and didn't skimp on the crab. The Lotte drink was boozy and delicious and came with a fresh fruit garnish. Service was good--seated almost immediately or you could wait for a table to turn over at the window. But there were lots of options for seats that offered a water view. People seemed to mostly be guest of the hotel and the staff was gracious and asked about peoples activities and remembered guests from previous days. Overall service was far superior to other hotels.

Located at the top of the Lotte hotel in downtown Seattle, this place boasts views of the city. The interior is spacious and open, featuring a lounge for casual dining as well as the back half space for more formal meal service. They even have suites you can book. There are limited tables in meal service overlooking the waterfront, so you would want to book reservations and make a note of it if you want one of the more coveted seats. I went here with a friend around 2:30pm to catch up and have a drink, so we chilled at the lounge area, but we were still able to roam around and check out the back half of the restaurant space. We got the daiquiri (from happy hour) and the Violet Femmes (from regular priced signature menu) which is their newer cocktails in honor of Pride. The Violet Femmes was fairly delicious and colorful, but I expected more color than purple and blue if Pride, since I had a drink before at another place in Seattle that literally had rainbow layered colors. $20 before tax and mandatory 20% gratuity is a bit steep, but you are paying a bit of a premium for the nice city views. The drink was good, just not good enough at the price point. Service was decent with some water refills, but a bit uncertain since the service is a bit occasional at the lounge. I can see this place to be nice for special occasions, but it is a premium space and restaurant

We had a fantastic anniversary dinner here. Did the full tasting menu and was impressed. A lot of times when we've done that some of the dishes miss the mark on taste (favoring presentation over flavor) This was not the case. The only miss was an over cooked steak and when the staff were notified the corrected without issue.

Such a wonderful dinner! My friend had his birthday dinner here. They had booked the private room so all of the guys were going crazy over the view. I didn't take a peak but I could see the waterfront from my seat and it was great. We were seated in the first private room from the dining area. Fairly large space with a couch and tv. Service was so nice. We had one staff tending to our group and he was great! Super patient with us. I started with the salted beet salad and ordered the rock fish as my entree. Both dish were delicious! The salad was so fresh and loved that the dressing wasn't over powering the salad and beets itself. The rock fish was a perfect portion for me. Fish was flaky and buttery at the same time without being fishy. The sauce that was underneath really tied everything together. I had such a great dinner here. I'll definitely save this spot for future events.

I've come here a few times for brunch and I've loved it every time! The food is delicious and the views are amazing. If you're able to, I would recommend sitting by the window to enjoy the view while eating breakfast. I've ordered the omelette and brioche french toast and thought both were very good, well-seasoned and well-served. The potatoes that come on the side of the omelette are one of my favorites. This is a great spot to come for a birthday or anniversary or even to celebrate with friends for an elevated experience and great food and views.

Fantastic fine dining restaurant & lounge in the heart of downtown Seattle with fabulous views. Stopped by for dinner and was wowed by the views. We were promptly seated and ordered their espresso martini along with their delicious freshly baked bread, potato leek soup, seared halibut & flourless chocolate cake. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Service was top notch. They have a few private rooms to have private dinners as well. Overall loved the ambience of this place and the food is delish as well. If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion or js treat yourself to a fancy dinner - Charlotte is the place to go.

This review is for lunch, and also lounge menu dinner. For lunch I had the stone pot rice, and citrus tart. Both were good! From the dinner lounge menu I had the truffle fries (needs to be shared, too much for 1 person), tamarind pork ribs (these were good), and the chocolate cake (would order again). Everything was as expected or better (I would come back for the desserts). Service was also great!

This is a great spot to meet up for lunch during the work week. My friend and I split the Turkey Panini and Bulgogi Cheese Steak Panini. Both sandwiches were tasty and came with a side of seasoned fries. The turkey panini was perfectly pressed with an appropriate amount of pesto. The bulgogi steak panini was flavorful and meat was tender. The menu is on the pricey side given it is located in a hotel with a water view from the 16th floor. Arnold Palmer and iced tea were $8.00 each!! Service was friendly and welcoming. We were told they were short waitstaff, but did not feel the effects during our visit.

I really really really wanted to give it a higher rating, but there were a couple things that happened that made it hard for me to give it a 4, 4.5 or 5 stars. Good: The view was nice! It seems like this would be the place to check out during the day! The cocktails weee good! I like The Stone dessert, which was the highlight for me. Didn't take a picture of it, but it literally looked like a rock!!! Not so great: The service was pretty slow, even though it wasn't a full house. The menu came with the greasiest and darkest thumb print stain... which is fine if you want to reuse paper menus, but it was kinda gross. We were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us champagne (we did not order it), and they still charged us $25... we weren't expecting that charge if the restaurant brought it out to us... we paid, but it was disappointing after spending so much on everything else that we did order. Maybe this is a better cocktail place than a restaurant based on my experience.

We tried the filet mignon and miso pasta. The filet mignon was as delicious as always, but the miso pasta wasn't really my type--just mid, in my opinion. However, their desserts were really good! The caramelized top was crispy on the outside while the inside remained soft and smooth. The service was good overall, but when I visited around Christmas week, it felt a bit chaotic. The servers seemed inexperienced. Our server was always walking fast, even when I called her--she barely slowed down and told me to wait. At first, I felt like she was ignoring us, but then I saw her accidentally knock over a table's wine. The rushed and messy environment that day was disappointing, as I wasn't expecting that kind of atmosphere. However, when I returned recently, the experience was completely different. The servers were much more attentive, calm, and always greeted us with a smile. I also appreciated that they allowed us to have a window seat, even though reservations for those aren't allowed on weekends. I had called ahead to ask about it, and they said they would try their best. I really appreciated their effort in accommodating us!

As someone that loves to celebrate their birthday all month, this is one of the places we came to for dinner! I had only been there once before at the lounge area for the live music, which I really enjoyed! On this occasion for dinner, our server was super sweet, friendly and very attentive! The food was also really good, and presented very nicely! We shared oysters and we each got a steak. I enjoy my steak "blue" and the chef did a great job, as I often end up with more of a medium rare steak. So, I was very pleased. I will visit again for sure, even if just for a drink and to enjoy the music!

We recently celebrated a special occasion at Charlotte inside the Lotte Hotel. We were treated to a creative and refined twist on classic Korean dishes through a set course menu. The meal began with a black cod croquette, a delicious amuse bouche, then kabocha juk, a velvety pumpkin porridge that was both comforting and elegant. The short rib patty was tender, with familiar flavors presented in an elevated style with a rice puff and a slice of mushroom and pepper. My favorite was the sullungtang gnocchi--a fusion of the traditional beef bone soup with delicate, pillowy gnocchi. It was a new experience to have Korean food presented in this contemporary way. The service was wonderful and the view was spectacular as well.

First of all, I'm sad I didn't review this restaurant immediately because I can't remember our servers name, but they were a gem and did the absolute most. We went to Charlotte to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and it was the perfect pick. We valet'ed with the hotel (def suggest) and headed up to enjoy the beautiful view the restaurant has to offer. It's very dark and moody at night. You arrive in the bar first, where there was live music playing. We were treated to hefty pours of complimentary bubbly upon arrival. Started with the tartare which was served with little hash browns and I thought it was amazing. I had the scallops and my hubs the Dino rib and they were both cooked perfectly. We did a chocolate cake for dessert and they also brought out a cute ice cream for our anniversary. If you are looking for an upscale dinner, place with a view, golden hour spot, or a romantic or moody meal, I suggest it for any of those! Charlotte exceeded all our expectations and is an all-around beautiful place to dine.

Incredibly sweet hidden gem!!! The view! The atmosphere! The service! The food and drinks! All 5 stars. Really great experience and can't wait to go again as they change their menu often. I forgot to take pictures of our main course but it was delicious

We dined here for our wedding anniversary and were absolutely blown away. First of all the restaurant itself is gorgeous, perched high above the Seattle skyline with a stunning view of the Puget Sound. The decor is upscale yet inviting at the same time, and really sets the tone for a romantic dinner/special occasion. I ordered the duck breast which was delightfully juicy, cooked perfectly and struck the perfect balance of sweet and savory. My husband ordered the short rib which was generous in portion and it literally fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. The flavorful marinade reminded me of my Korean grandmother's traditional kalbi-jjim, a nod to the restaurant's Korean inspired flavors and Lotte's heritage. Our server was attentive and helpful, he recommended the cheesecake for dessert, which came with pistachio and brittle, a brilliant explosion of flavor and texture that was quite possibly one of the best desserts I've ever had. Our other dessert, "the stone" was also good, it had a subtle black sesame flavor which may appeal to those that prefer something less sweet. Overall we had such an amazing time and I will be dreaming about that cheesecake, we can't wait to come back next time we're in town!

5/5 Was brought here for drinks on my birthday. All I can say is wow. Everything was perfect. Not a bad thing to say. Ambiance - WOW, at the top of a hotel downtown I was brought here by my partner for birthday drinks. When you exit the elevator there is a concierge stand, they direct you to the hostess and you see a lounge at the front with a full bar and comfortable seating. The back end is a restaurant with tables lined against the windows with views of downtown Seattle. I'm sure on a clear day you can see rainier. The vibes are immaculate here. VERY spaced out restaurant so you never feel crowded or even too close to another table. Walls are lined with dozens of wine coolers and books. Service - Michelle was our server and she was amazing. She was so personable, offered recommendations on the menu and even offered to have them craft drinks not on the menu. She was patient, never felt like she needed to rush off to help another table, She even brought over a birthday treat, which was ice cream covered in sprinkles, tell me why it was the best sprinkled ice cream I've ever had?! give her a raise! Food - now we didn't get a chance to try the food, since we were here for drinks, I can't tell you how delicious the drinks were. This is my new favorite cocktail in Seattle. I hate when you go to a craft cocktail spot and spend $20-$30 on a drink and the drinks are mediocre or just bad. Every drink we had was delicious. The stand out being the "buzzed bee in the Baijuu." This was an experience. The drink has a Sechuan "buzz button." Think of it as an intense Sechuan peppercorn. Leaves your mouth numb yet tingly, and when you drink the cocktail it completely transforms the flavor. Amazing.

Came here for a work lunch with a slightly big group and the staff were accommodating and provided great service. The view of the city is amazing as well. The food is enjoyable, but you're really coming here for the ambiance. That being said, I did enjoy the Wagyu burger I had and would recommend it.

This review is long overdue...I hosted a business dinner here back in May. The restaurant had just swapped out their winter menu for the new spring menu. My experience was a very positive one in terms of event planning and organization. Tevany, Events & Administrative Manager, worked closely with me to plan my event and executed an almost flawless evening. We were seated in the center of the dining room on the top floor of the hotel, so the view was magnificent. I said almost flawless, because the food was not as superb as I had expected. It was good, but not 5-star excellent. My seared local halibut was beautifully executed. The fish was tender and flaky, melted in my mouth. The gem lettuce medley green goddess Caesar, on the other hand, was quite sad. It was essentially half of a red leaf lettuce cut down the middle with some thin radish shavings. The dressing was flavorless. I was extremely disappointed with this salad and wished that I had ordered a different appetizer. My colleagues who ordered the seared foie gras said it was excellent. I was told the parmesan and garlic roasted cauliflower was very tasty as well. Thankfully, my dessert made up for the disappointing salad. The lemon yuzu caramel tart was heavenly. I had a taste of the Araguani chocolate flourless cake and thought it was quite delicious as well! Aside from my sad salad, I had a wonderful time and would recommend this restaurant. If you have a large party or a private event, Tevany is the best at planning! The wait staff also did a superb job!

I stayed at the Lotte Hotel and dined at the restaurant on the 16th floor of the Lotte Hotel on 9/28/24 at 5:45 pm, where the server was fantastic and provided great dish explanations. However, the female hostess was somewhat rude, making me feel uncomfortable. When she asked if I wanted to look at the menu to see if I really wanted to eat there, it felt like an implication that the restaurant was too expensive, which was quite insulting. I had already eaten here before. I ordered the black octopus, beet salad, braised rib, and sea bass--while all the dishes were good, I still left feeling hungry. The restaurant was quite empty, with only four other guests present at the time of seating. Also, fyi, if you book on open table they charge $25 and if you want a view they charge you $50. Considering the restaurant is dead you can just walk in, get seated and pay for only the food.

The food was amazing! Service was very proper. I wish they would tell me that the tip is already added to the bill. Otherwise, I can't complain. Ambiance was pleasant. The city view is amazing! I would come back. The place is not cheap, but worth it.

I was hoping to try lunch/dinner menu, but ended up going on a weekend when they only serve brunch. Fail. The chicken on the chicken & waffle and Caesar salad was dry as heck. My crab cakes were shredded crab instead of chunky. Best thing on menu were the roasted potatoes. Woulda given it 2 stars, but adding one for good wait staff.

Wonderful spot for happy hour, which runs from 3-6 pm on weekdays! There was plenty of seating, great views, and excellent service. I got the A Buzzed Bee In The Baijiu cocktail, which was delicious. The egg white gave it a light and creamy texture, and the passionfruit made this drink go down so easy even though it was very strong! The best part is, it was not too sweet. I kept reordering it, was so good. We got some snacks to share. Each skewer order comes with 2. The shrimp skewer was good, though the beef skewer was unfortunately not that tender, so I wouldn't recommend ordering that one. The truffle fries were amazing though. The perfect amount of truffle (not too overpowering), perfectly crispy, and the accompanying aioli made each bite delightful. We ended up getting a second order because it was so good. I would note that this is a fancy establishment so the prices are elevated. I think the service, views, and overall vibes make up for the price. Would come again for happy hour.

Wow! I came to the Charlotte with colleagues for lunch. The service was awesome. Our drinks and food came out quickly, same with dessert. I ordered the kimchi grilled cheese with tomato soup and it was phenomenal! Same with the desserts, we ordered chocolate and matcha (Wicked themed). The Charlotte has a classy vibe with beautiful views, lots of seating and private dining options. I will definitely be returning!

406. This restaurant is on the top floor of the Lotte. Grabbed a bite with my friend for brunch. We ordered the crab dungeness toast, smoked salmon, and fruit palate. I had a matcha latte which kept me caffeinated for the day. Wish I got to sit closer to the window, but the view is pretty if you're able to snag window seating. Came back a few hours later for happy hour. We ordered truffle fries which came with aioli ketchup, Korean fried chicken sliders, spring Korean pancake (okonomiyaki), and ended with a matcha pistachio cake. Also tried their cocktails: Elephant in the Room and Buzzed Bee in the Baijiu. Great culinary aesthetics. This was more than enough food to stuff two people. Unfortunately, the seafood I ate earlier for brunch did not sit well with my stomach. I ended up having to run to the bathroom multiple times. Horrible experience that I would never wish upon anyone else. If you order seafood here, proceed with caution.

We recently ate here for my Birthday and had the best experience. The restaurant is located on the 16th floor of the Hotel Lotte. You take the elevator up, walk though the lounge (which looks wonderful), and then get to the main restaurant. The restaurant looks gorgeous, a really stunning design. We sat in a booth with a high-backed seat that was super comfortable and offered a great view of Smith Tower. Service was wonderful, our server Devin was the best. Since they knew it was my birthday, they brought us a couple of glasses of champagne that were very nice. They have a very nice wine list--we had a bottle of a great Washington Red. For starters, we had the rye bread plate, wild mushroom to, and then a grilled asparagus salad. The rye bread is very good--not as dark as you would expect, but great flavor. The honey and butter go great with it. Be prepared for two people it is a lot. The mushrooms were so good. They had this nice cheese with them that was kind of a rich bite and very delicious. The asparagus salad had a lot going one. The fried artichokes were wonderful and we both could not get enough of the smoked halibut. For the main course, I had the scallops. This was over this sun choke puree which I do not think I had before, but was really tasty and the perfect complement. I also tried the halibut which was also cooked and seasoned just right. For dessert, again since my birthday they brought out a scoop of ice cream covered in sprinkles. We were kind of full, so this was perfect. Just a super meal and experience overall.

Super cute location with great service but mediocre food Ambiance: absolutely fantastic, exactly as you see on Instagram and perfect for a cute date night or a girls night - I noticed they have a private dining room that would be super cute for any event. I will say if you are coming here for the sunset you won't get to actually see the sun because the buildings block it. You will see the sun hit the buildings over the city which is also very beautiful but set your expectations. Service: Gene our server was fantastic super attentive and on it! Food: The food was very underwhelming The $9 rustic rye bread was literally thrown in the plate, not even warm with poor presentation They did not have the crudo or the pappardelle pasta which are some of their unique dishes. I tried the scallops and they were alright, there was nothing about the dish that stood to me. I had very high expectations of this place and the food did not deliver luckily the ambiance and our server made for a better experience.

We stayed at the Lotte Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. We visited either the lounge or restaurant every single day of our visit. Our waiter the first night was perfect. Personable, attentive and knowledgeable. Our daily breakfast waiter was also sharp, attentive and knowledgeable but not super personable. Totally fine and didn't take away from our experience. Cocktails were all pretty consistently good and some of their desserts were tasty. With that said, the food and timeliness of our food and drinks were an issue. This is by no fault of the server, but something must be going on in their kitchen and the bar. Breakfast was by far the most edible, but nothing stood out and some dishes were just not good. There are certain ingredients that make it into a dish and you wonder why it's there. Like sliced green olives into the avocado toast...why? It was gross. We ordered safer items like the all american breakfast to be cautious, but the sausages were not everyone's favorite so we stuck to bacon the rest of our trip. The dinner items we ordered were also pretty terrible. By far the worst dish was the yookhae (beef tartare). I had to re-read the menu because we could not for the life of us figure out why we tasted an odd sweet element to this. It was topped with parmesean cheese (yuck) and the meat was brown in some spots. The octopus was a little better, but overcooked so pretty rubbery. There was also like 5 pieces of popcorn in another dish and I had no idea why it was even there. Incorporating non traditional ingredients to dishes were not well executed and made everything taste just that much worse. And to top it off, everything took forever to come out. I don't get it. Is the kitchen down to one burner? It was like this every day of our visit. I had thought since Lotte was a Korean brand, they would have had a few more Korean dishes on the menus (like jook or kimbap). If I were a local, I would not make a special trip out to this restaurant. As a traveler, I would try and stay at another hotel.

What an incredible view and ambience at this stunningly beautiful restaurant. The view and the service make this a 7/5 stars - it's that amazing. The food, while very good, falls just short of the very high bar of five stars. By no means was anything disappointing, I think every dish just needed an extra punch of salt and seasoning in general. As you can see in the photos, their food is gorgeous and prepared quite well. Just a little minor refining and this place would be the go to spot in Seattle. I'll definitely be back, the elevated city and water views are the stuff dreams are made of.

One of the most spectacular meals we've ever eaten. Everything was perfect. Really enjoyed this dinner. If I had to choose a last steak meal, this one would probably be the one. We ordered the prefix and couple drinks. Looking forward to coming back again tonight.

We had a wonderful dinner experience, and the views from Charlotte are awesome. They have a large lounge and we made reservations. We were seated within 3-5 minutes after arrival. We celebrate our Anniversary here during our trip to Seattle. Kira, our waitress, was very kind and personable. The beet salad was earthy and crisp. I loved the honey nut old-fashioned which which as a delicious accompaniment to my meal. They even gave us two glasses of Champagne to celebrate our Anniversary on-the-house. We ended with a scrumptious strawberry tart. Now, for the short-rib. It was the best I've had. Tender. Flavorful. Paired beautifully with a mushroom risotto which was nicely bathed in jus. I adore the experience. We had an amazing experience an highly recommend them for an early-late evening romantic date with the one you love. Kudos to my wifey for making the reservation and finding this spot.

We went here for a friend's bday celebration awhile back so...the set menu is seasonal therefore they changed base on what is in plus they do have a regular menu too. 1st, the place is cozy, romantic, high standard one of a kind place. This is the place for you to celebrate the special occasion or to impress folks. It is not on top of the building (works/hotel) but high enough to overlook Seattle downtown and so it's spectacular view (ceiling to floor glass window 180 degree views. Services is super high notch (but I do see others servers lacked but not our), very attentive and super nice plus knowledgeable of the menu. She did gave us the inside of what highly suggested by the chef and the popular. I loved my drinks, very well decorative presentation and just fantastic well mixed. Foods, majority are hit and few are missed but decorative wise, piece of art. High, fresh quality and well balanced favor. Yes it costly but it's once in a while, so sure worth it. Or just come here for drinks and snacks and enjoys the view and services.

The asian hostess was so nice and I would def come back. Service was excellent and great views and ambiance. Food and drinks were great - rec truffle fries & sliders for happy hour and steak frites !

Lucky to dine here when it wasn't crowded! Had a perfect table facing the Seattle waterfront and got to watch a gorgeous sunset! The service was warm and attentive (shout out to Gene!). The food was also imaginative, fresh, and tasty (except the crab bisque, which I really didn't like). It would be nice to eat here again!

As a regular of Charlotte, i applaud them for their consistency in their top service and food quality last time i came here was for my birthday brunch last summer, and as someone who has done their pre fixe dinner menu, mothers day special brunch (which is my favorite of all my Charlotte visits to date) and lunch, this was my first time doing dinner ala carte style and it was amazing. We had a large group celebrating a friends birthday and decided to do family style of apps and entrees and it worked great for us. We basically got to try every single dish from the entree menu, i will say that except for the chicken everything was a 10/10. The chicken was slightly dry in some parts and for a restaurant like Charlotte i would expect it to be perfectly executed. However i still give them 5 stars because their service and food AND desserts (yes they have in house bakery and sell whole cakes that are beautiful and affordably priced so you have every reason to get it) are just top notch. We were also welcomed with welcome champagne before we ordered which is a huge plus of top notch hospitality.

Stunning view. Floor to ceiling windows all the way around. Expansive space that feels elegant and welcoming. Every chair is comfortable. Excellent use of tender Korean Bulgogi to create a cheesesteak sandwich. Came with spicy fries reminiscing of kimchi. Ordered the greens salad loved the substantial portions, enough to share. We were so full after this sandwich and salad that we had to skip dessert. Which was a shame because they had some appealing options. Bring the people you love here. It's a special place. Service is attentive.

Everything from drinks, entree to dessert was impeccable. Great dining experience. Went back for breakfast the next morning.

Definitely pricey, but a great splurge for lunch. Burger is amazing and the views are unmatched. If you're looking for an upscale hotel restaurant downtown, or a rooftop deck, this basically fits both of those. Did I mention the view?

Very nice ambiance and the price was reasonable. Service so so. The tomato soup was so very bitter tasting, I tried adding cream, but no better! The server said he would get me something else 25 minutes later! Hot tea pot had 3 times to many tea leaves, it was off tasting so strong it was bitter bitter and undrinckable! Espresso machine didn't work! You get the idea! The best part was the view Asked 3 times for the towels, robes, glasses, slippers and coffee! We had 3 in our party, why they didn't get it together, considering it supposed to be 5 star. The rooms was adequate for one person as no comfortable chair for anyone else! Definitely not 5 star in my experience!

From the time we enter Charlotte it was pretty much a white glove experience our food was over the top delicious everyone from where I can see how just appealing service food. The ambience was exceptionally perfect can't wait to go again. Don't forget to check out the bathrooms when you're there pretty amazing job they did.

Good food with beautiful views. The ambiance here is fantastic. They split the bar/lounge area from the restaurant side. The restaurant side has the views of the Sound. The black cod was delicious but not as big as expected. My friend was expecting a bigger piece. The seafood gnocchi was delicious! The oysters were so fresh. And the flourless chocolate cake was an experience in your mouth with different textures and flavors! The drinks were delicious and very well mixed. Definitely a good fancy restaurant to celebrate an occasion or for a few yourself moment! Our servers were great and super patient with our ordering.

I want to preface my review with a very important point: the servers and service was f'ng STELLAR! Phenomenal. Fantastic! Damn good! The food is beautifully presented. But there was something we found fault with in every dish. Foie gras was good, but the corn masa waffle had a weird texture and mouthfeel. The popcorn on the dish gave no added value to the dish and just didn't belong, like at all. The beef tartare was bland. Lacked sea salt, lemon/citrus and red onion. The hash brown potato things on the tartare was weird. The short rib had really great flavor, demi was rich and tasty. Risotto on the dish had great flavor too, but sadly was really undercooked. I mean I get aldente, but this was just shy of being completely undercooked. A bit too crunchy if you ask me. Caccio e pepe was tasty but was a little bland, even with the addition of shaved truffle, the sauce itself was a little meh. We ordered this lemon something dessert. It was decent. But I will say, I was disappointed to see that it was very clear that the dessert was pre-plated and pre-garnished ahead of time. You could tell because the sliced blueberry and raspberry looked somewhat dried out. That wouldn't be possible if it was garnished to order. Bartenders were super friendly. People at the valet were super great. Live musicians were a really nice touch. There is so many positive things about this place. View. Wine list was fantastic! We loved so much about this place. But for the price, the food was good but just average. Not sure I would drop coin again for average food.

Restaurant last call is 8:30, closes at 9. Lounge is open until 11 with a limited menu. Lounge food was great, perfect portions for those who just want a quick bite and a dessert. Ambience and style is hotel lobby-like, nothing seems to follow any style. The lounge is dark, however, and needed a table lamp to see what we were eating. Overall, a good experience, but nothing memorable.

I typically don't write reviews for the restaurants of hotels I stay in however, this was phenomenal. I went here everyday for breakfast when I was staying at the Lotte Hotel and occasionally stopped by in the evening for drinks. First, their breakfast service is amazing. Not only do you get to dine with an amazing view, but it typically isn't busy and you get quick, amazing service. Their salmon benedict is the best I've had (and it's always a go-to at every restaurant I go to), but their crab toast is a must-try. I've tried all of their other savory breakfast entrees and they are all just as amazing, carefully prepared, and filling. Fruit is fresh and pastries are always warm and served with plenty of butter and jam. Their lounge is also phenomenal. The bar tender who made our drinks was so kind and easy to talk to; had amazing conversation with him. They also have some dessert items to enjoy at the lounge, and while a couple were out when we were there, I still really enjoyed their churros. The drinks are amazing and all look so beautiful. Overall, even if I didn't stay at Lotte Hotel next time, I would love to come back here.

My husband and I stayed at the Lotte for a few days and had a lovely time. The rooftop restaurant has amazing views of the city, and we loved looking out over the skyscrapers to see the mountains and water in the distance. We had breakfast vouchers through American Express, so we ate breakfast or brunch almost every day of our stay at the Charlotte Restaurant. The French toast was some of the best I've ever had - fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The sausage wasn't my favorite, but the portions were surprisingly big. The coffee menu is definitely worth a try, too. My husband had the pancakes one day, the croissant and breakfast potatoes another day, as well as the kimchi grilled cheese and enjoyed them all. The potatoes are coated in a tasty garlic sauce, and the pancakes are light and fluffy. I also had the crab cake Benedict one day and the crab toast another day, and both were delicious. The crab is very fresh and flavorful. Overall, I would very much recommend breakfast at the hotel, although it is pricey without coupons. However, one of the nights of our stay, we had dinner at the Charlotte, and while decently tasty, it was definitely not worth the price. Cocktails were almost $25, and we couldn't justify the expense, but the beer and wine were more reasonably priced. My filet mignon was overcooked, and neither the steak or sides were hot. For almost $70, it seemed very mediocre, although the presentation was beautiful. I would recommend the bread as an appetizer and the dessert menu paired with the wine tasting. I had a crème brûlée-like dish with seasonal fruit, and my husband had a cute red velvet cake shaped like a dome. Our server did an excellent job explaining the wine pairings, too. If you're going to go for dinner, I think appetizers and desserts are the way to go.

We stayed at Lotte hotel and checked out the restaurant for breakfast. I was recommended by the hotel front desk to make a reservation for breakfast. When we arrived around 7:30am there was only 2 other parties, and we were able to get a window seat. We had personalized service and were greeted by our last names by our server. Ambience was warm and intimate. Food was good, can't go wrong with french toast, the yogurt parfait had a extra layer of flavor with hint of cardamom, and breakfast potatoes were well seasoned and crispy on outside. Slightly pricy with automatic 20% service fee but worth the splurge.

We had the most incredible dinner here tonight. Gene and his support team were warm, welcoming, and attentive. My cocktail was delish! The deconstructed crab chowder and green goddess were both delicious starters. The salad had so much depth! Both the filet and halibut were perfectly prepared! Gene and his team really made us feel special as we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with complementary champagne and ice cream dessert! We will definitely be back when we're back in Seattle and recommend to our friends who live locally and those who visit regularly!

Wonderful view was a nice lounge area. Great small dishes. Great service recommended, especially on the odd hours before it becomes busy. They even have private dining rooms.

Took me by surprised with this restaurant! First thing we saw when we walked in was the view. I like the fact that it's on the 16th floor because you could easily see the sunset. We saw the sunset as we sat down and it was just remarkable. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by Michelle, who was outstanding throughout the night! She was welcoming and friendly. She gave a lot of great recommendations and overall, she was very pleasant to talk in between bites. I really like that so I was very pleased with my experience with her as my server. We started with drinks, which is a must get! I forgot what I got but it was their signature cocktails which were really amazing hand crafted drinks. But these drinks really complements the food we had! Speaking of, we had their white bean soup which was so delicious! Little bacon in there along with feta really elevated it. Also got their kale and broccolini salad and I loved it! It was so light and crispy. I enjoyed every bite! For entree, I had the filet mignon and I had no words. It was very delicious and I loved how juicy it was. I also loved the fact that the plate was hot too. For dessert, we got the soufflé which required 18 minute wait, but I didn't care because it was well worth it. It was super light soft and loved the passion fruit sorbet and yuzu crème that came with it. Overall, I would recommend anyone to come here! Again, thank you Michelle for the wonderful experience!
