1st time at the Chart House. Per usual for an Annapolis location, the parking was sparse. Location was amazing, It's actually its own wharf with boats tied up on the starboard side and 30 foot ceilings with incredible nautical views out the spacious windows. Our server Brady was just the right touch of are guys good plus Ill leave you guys alone to enjoy your meal kinda dude. Very knowledgeable about the menu as well. The food...oh my the food. I had the crispy escargot on mushrooms and they were the best I've had since my cruise in 2015. My wife had a ceasar salad which comes in an edibe parmesean bowl. She got a crab cake app to go w the salad and the bite I had was incredible. I had the seafood pasta which had clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops and lobster in a reddish sauce that was equally amazing on its own dunked in the homade bread. Half of that I brought home. Lastly, we split a dessert - mud pie - with coffee ice cream and crunchy oreo bottom. Looking forward to returning soon and you can use their reservation service to save your seats before you get there as it's only going to get more crowded as summer moves in.

We got half a dozen oysters and the schooner seafood tower for the three of us. The meal was delicious. We also got the best salad and two bowls of cream of crab. The schooner in my opinion is more like for 2.5 people rather than 3 to 4. Without soup and beet salad it would not have been enough. I had a special request for three of us attending and not only did they set us up with an amazing table, the waitress also followed up on the status if the auspicious event! I have rarely have such amazing service! We will definitely revisit!

Chart House Prime in Annapolis has a beautiful atmosphere—definitely 5 stars for the view alone. The waterfront location creates a really relaxing and scenic vibe, perfect for a nice day out. The food was good overall—I’d give it 4 stars. However, the crab dip tasted a bit too fishy for my liking, which was disappointing given how popular crab dishes are in the area. Service is where things fell short. Our server was friendly, but not very attentive, and the service overall was slow. It didn’t ruin the day, but it definitely took away from the experience. I’d give the service 3 stars. Overall, good food and a great view!

Google
Good food, good atmosphere. One of the best locations of the “chain” that it is. Definitely on the pricier side but food and service and great. Sushi was excellent. Drinks were very good as well. We enjoyed a sushi roll, rockfish with crab and wok fried bass. Also recommend taking the water taxi from downtown Annapolis to the chart house. It will drop you off right next to the restaurant and pick up if you call. Enjoy

Google
Amazing food, obviously pricey but you get what you pay for. Great service Taylor was our server! The alcoholic drinks are exactly what the menu specifies. Table etiquette from the servers is impeccable. the view of the bay and marina are a huge plus to a great place to dine.

This was one of the nicest restaurants I’ve been to in my life, and I’ve been to a lot of restaurants. As soon as we got there, I was very impressed by all the wine on display. We were seated in a large semi circle booth that seemed like an interesting choice considering I was only with one person. It was comfortable and had a decent view of the water though. The windows make it very easy to see the water. I got the cherry palmer which was basically a cherry ice tea lemonade, and it was pretty good. My girlfriend also liked her drink. We started with the crab dip, belly and the beast (octopus and pork belly), and cream of crab. The belly and the beast was presented very nicely. The octopus was an amazing tender, and I usually don’t like octopus. The pork belly was delicious and very crispy. The cream of crab was super thick and had a lot of actual crab meat. The crab dip was one of the best crab dips I’ve ever had. The flavor of it was amazing and there was so much crab meat. A large part of what made it so good was the bread. It was the perfect texture and there was butter inside of each little slice. We ended up also getting the bread service which was pretty good. The 3 accompaniments were regular butter, pesto sauce, and a honey old bay butter. The honey old bay butter was especially great. For my entree I got the New York strip, which I think was listed as 16 oz. I chose to get the bone Marrow butter on it. The way they serve it is super cool. The guy literally torches the bone marrow on to the steak right in front of you. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, as I ordered. It was very high quality meat. One of the better steaks I’ve had. The bone marrow butter made it noticeably more rich and fatty. My girlfriend got the seafood pasta, which was a massive portion as well with a great amount of sea food. The bread with it was very good, especially with the white wine sauce in the pasta. She really liked it. We also shared a side of the lobster risotto which was pretty good. I also got the faux-jito mocktail which was basically a non alcoholic mojito with some fruits. Very good and refreshing though. For dessert we got the crème brûlée tasting. The flavors were vanilla, strawberry rose, and orange. They were all so good and super thick and rich. The service was super friendly, while also being professional. Our server gio was great. Definitely recommend this place if you’re anywhere near Annapolis

Google
I took my friend here for dinner and this place didnt disappoint. Even though it was busy, it never got loud and the spacing between tables was good. The food was what I would expect from such a restaurant. The oysters were fresh, crab cakes wonderfully seasoned and presented in a unique way, and the porterhouse was simply amazing. The service was non invasive yet attentive enough. Its a great spot to unwind and escape from the chaos of Annapolis.

Yelp
Service: we sat at the bar but OMG, the bartenders were amazing. Very kind and patient even towards the end of the evening. Food: we had the seafood tower and edamame. Both delicious Ambiance: well this was on the marina so it was pretty fancy. Interior was very clean and sophisticated. Absolutely had an a blast trying the specially choreographed cocktails. It was probably one of the best I've had in the DMV and I've had my far share of drinks in DC and VA. Annapolis you did not disappoint a first time visitor.

Yelp
Don't waste your money, but more importantly your time and sanity! As a longtime Santa Barbara resident and former loyal patron of the original Chart House location, I came into this evening with high expectations and a sense of nostalgia. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a meaningful sendoff dinner for my daughter, who is heading to the U.S. Naval Academy, turned into a night of disappointment, frustration, and embarrassment. From the moment we walked in, it was clear something was off. The hostess was visibly sweating--because the place isn't adequately air-conditioned. That set the tone. Once seated, it took far too long to receive even a glass of water. Bread didn't arrive for over an hour, and only after we reminded the staff. Water glasses remained empty unless we flagged someone down. The service was inattentive at best and completely neglectful at worst. Our dinner--two appetizers, two entrées, and one side--took so long to arrive that we nearly closed the place down. We were seated at 7:30 PM and were still waiting on food well into the evening. This wasn't a multi-course tasting menu--it was a simple order that any properly managed kitchen could have executed with ease. To their credit, the Alaskan king crab was outstanding. But the New York strip? Unremarkable and far from the caliber expected at these prices. For what this restaurant charges, the experience was nothing short of unconscionable. It's like being robbed in plain sight--paying fine dining prices for what feels like a second-rate operation. Chart House used to represent quality and consistency. Today, it's a joke. A sad shell of what it once was. If you're considering spending your hard-earned money here, don't. Annapolis has far better options where service is valued and guests are treated with basic respect.

Yelp
Nine years later, and my original criticism remains: Chart House still suffers from multiple personality disorder. On Saturday evening, I was looking forward to an upscale dinner on the water, but things started off inauspiciously when Chart House seated me (after my reserved time) in the bar-adjacent area. I was then treated to the musical selections of DJ "Track Playa," and while cacophonies like Sabrina Carpenter's club remix assailed my ears, I sat in increasing darkness as the sun set with nothing but disquieting blue light emitting from the restaurant's sparse lamps. Several nearby patrons had to use the flashlight functions of their phones to illuminate menus, and the staff confessed that they have trouble seeing during food delivery. Chart House: please increase the brightness of the lights (and get rid of the blue) during dinner time. Nobody wants to eat a $500 dinner In Da Club, but if we're forced to, we'd at least like to see our food.

Yelp
Food was pretty good. The steak needed more seasoning. Service was a little slow but overall ok. We needed food packaged to go and that took some time. Ambiance was very nice. Wish the lighting was a little brighter. Overall good experience

Yelp
Try this place for happy hour at 4:30. Delicious small plates to go along with your cocktails. They have great mocktails too. I really liked their Blood Orange and Sage Mocktail. The Shishito Peppers were a hit at our table too!

Yelp
Came here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. Food was delicious and our server was fantastic! If you're looking for a side, the carrots were phenomenal!! I also got a mocktail that was really good but can't remember what it was. Cannot wait to be back!

Yelp
Amazing! The food and service was exquisite! Thank you Tia for such an incredible experience!

Yelp
Our table of two couples arrived on time for our 4:30 reservation on a Sunday. The restaurant was only about 2/3rds full during our 2 1/2 hr visit. There were problems with the food and service. I had the tomahawk Wagyu steak. It was clearly sliced without resting, so that most of the steak's juices had run out and was on the serving platter. I ordered it medium rare, but it was served rare. Further, the 32 ounce steak was undersized. Very disappointing. Others ordered the rockfish with crab. That was served under seasoned and bland. The fourth entree was not available (scallops with bourbon peach sauce). We were not informed of this problem until the other entrees were almost ready to be served. The substitute entree was limited. The appetizers and wine were the highlight of the meal. We had the calamari and crab dip. Desserts were good, but very slow to be delivered. It was clear that the restaurant was understaffed based on the service and upkeep of the restaurant. For example, the men's room had an overflowing trash container. We were having a special celebration. I could not recommend this for a full meal. Drinks and appetizers would be fine if that's all you wanted.

Yelp
Great service by Alex- wonderful attention to details an very responsive to our large group. Will Come back again!

Yelp
Late Tues evening birthday appetizers, dessert, and drinks. Ambiance was fantastic and restaurant was beautiful. Had the tenderloin slider - best I have ever had (medium ofcourse). Do not miss the creme brulee Tasting for dessert - the peach Bourbon was other worldly. Sushi was ok - beautofully prepared. Great and thoughtful service!

Angee Y.

Yelp
Food, service and ambience were amazing. I celebrated my birthday and it was truly incredible.

Yelp
We went to Chart House Prime the first time for my son's birthday. We made a reservation ahead of time, however we still need to wait for 30 mins to be seated. Then it took another 15-20mins bread. Is on memorial weekend, they said that they are short staff. I felt like the management could do some work here. High end restaurants, shouldn't let customers waited for 30 mins if you have reservations. The service is extremely slow. On the other hand, the food is really good. And the restaurant is beautiful. I think I might try one more time and hopefully will be better next time

Yelp
Chart House was the perfect place for us to have our last dinner of 2024! The ambiance was jammin with great tunes and lots of people out. I ordered an old fashioned to get things started and wow was it a generous pour! We decided to start with the cream of crab soup and butternut squash salad. The soup had lots of lump crab and was a great start. We then had the eye of eye the ribeye and Chilean sea bass. Wow!!! The sea bass was cooked and seared to perfection with perfect flakiness and the lobster risotto was amazing. And the ribeye was cooked and seared with a nice char on outside and perfectly medium rare on the inside. The mashed potatoes was delicious and nice and garlicky. And to finish was had the key like pie and mini lava cake. There were even fireworks over the water at 9pm right as we were starting our main course. Amazing night!!!

Yelp
We had an amazing 3 course Christmas meal including prime rib, kale and butternut squash salad and lava cake complete with kimchi calamari appetizer and mojito flight with an exceptional waiter, Mr. Al.

Yelp
Went here for a co-worker's going away, the food was good and plenty. It is on the "pricey" side but as one expect when you visit a high end place. I'm not a big seafood eater (yes I know it's surf & turf place - but this was the choice of the honoree). So I found it kind of hard to choose something I wanted - but ended up getting a wedge salad which was quite good. And chicken with potatoes (sorry I can't recall the name). Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It is right by the water and there is no designated parking for the place, you will need to make sure you arrive in time to find a spot in the lot across the street. I suppose you do get what you paid for - I would recommend to those who want to go someplace different and try something new.

Yelp
My husband and I drive in for Baltimore to Annapolis a few times a year to visit Chart House Prime and the restaurant never disappoints. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and were also craving the CrabStack and Sushi. The manager Josh remembered us and gave us a warm welcome back. The stand out though was Leah while recently new to the team she was amazing! She was attentive, offered recommendations, and ensure we felt valued and heard. She provided exceptional service and went the extra mile to help celebrate my husbands birthday. This made the hour ride well worth the while. Leah keep up the outstanding work and Josh thanks for always remembering us. Cheers the Johnson's

Yelp
Excellent food, fantastic ambience and great customer service. I didn't love the hard butter, but that's ok. Our favorite was the beautiful seafood tower. The prime rib dish was phenomenal. We also loved the brusell sprouts. We had a great dining experience.

Yelp
I enjoyed the chicken and waffles. I liked the crust of the chicken very crunchy. I didn't expect them to make the flight at the table but it was a fun and amusing experience. All the flavors were delicious. Others I ate with complained about cold food.

Yelp
Very busy place, though it was Valentine's Day. I assume it's probably bustling most days. The ambiance was great and included a dj. Very spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. I started with a glass of wine and the smoke + luge. The beef tartare was nice, though I wished it had a tad more seasoning. The bone marrow butter was a nice touch. I followed with the monarch margarita that was quite delicious and refreshing. My last dish was the belly + the beast. The pork belly was good, however the sauce crystallized a bit in some areas, so it was a little hard to chew at times. Wished the flavor was slightly spicier, but it was fine. The charred octopus with the chimichurri wasn't as good as I had hoped. The octopus was cooked perfectly, however I wished there was a touch of citrus or other flavor (chimichurri was very herbaceous). The sweet peppers were a nice touch. Overall, a busy place with a great view that most likely will require reservations, unless you get there at the right time.

Yelp
Decided to go to Chart house prime to have some dinner, and maybe a view of the water. We were told by the host when we walked in that there were no tables available, but the bar seating was open. I looked, and there were a bunch of restaurant tables available, but maybe no staff to wait on them?? We decided to sit at the bar area and get some dinner. Not my ideal choice, but if nothing else is available, then I'm ok with the bar. I did find it a little odd that there was a DJ playing club music in a nice restaurant, loud enough for the entire place to hear it. No big deal though. We sat down, and after 25 minutes of waiting, I went to the bar to ask if a waiter was available, or if I needed to order at the bar. I stood there for at least five minutes while multiple bartenders walked past me, without acknowledging me. I finally had to go to the other end of the bar and chase down a bartender to get some assistance. I was told that they would be right with us. The bartender finally came over and took our drink order. It was a little frustrating because we were seated directly across from the bar. The bartenders looked at us multiple times, and multiple waiters walked by, but no one ever acknowledged us. After our drink order was taken, one of the same waiters that walked past us multiple times without acknowledging us, came and took our order. The bartender brought us our adult beverages, but after waiting another ten minutes, I had to go to the bar and ask for my soda, which was in the order I placed with the waiter. I ordered the wedge salad, with blackened ahi tuna. My wife ordered a salad, with a filet. The food came, and was delicious. Our drinks were also very good. I was very disappointed with the service. Not that we spent a lot of money, but $200 for a lite dinner with drinks, I'd expect at least someone to greet us after sitting down, and maybe remember to bring my soda after ordering. Don't make me go to the bar and get it myself. The location and ambiance was nice, but the service was subpar.

Yelp
This restaurant is right next to the water in Annapolis so you have a nice view while eating. The prime rib was decent but I felt like I've had better prime rib in other places. The sautéed mushrooms were good and so was the chicken. Overall, I had a good experience.

Yelp
We enjoyed a two day getaway in Annapolis and my husband booked reservations here as our main date night dinner. It came highly recommended online and by friends. We arrived early for our reservation and sat at the bar - it was very busy but the bartenders were quick to greet us. Our table was ready quickly so we didn't order a beverage here but could see this as a nice place to enjoy a pre or post dinner cocktail. The atmosphere is upscale with white tablecloths and dark exposed beams, grand and modern chandeliers, and cozy fireplaces throughout. The lighting is perfectly dim, casting light from the fireplaces to make diners relaxed and looking their best in the glow of the fire...a plus for photos! I began with the Not an "old" fashioned - their old fashioned. It was simply perfect. Balanced and delicious and highly recommended if you enjoy bourbon. Our appetizer was the crab cake served over a soft shell and sliced tomato. One word - DIVINE. It was just so tasty and an ample portion to share. We also ordered the crab dip. It was decadent - rich and creamy with a bit of spice on the finish. It was served with a mini baguette. For dinner, I ordered the herb-crusted 10 oz prime rib and my husband ordered the heart of the ribeye - 10 ounces. Both ordered medium rare. Sides ordered were creamed spinach and double cheese-bacon potatoes. My prime rib came our first along with the spinach. Followed in seconds by the ribeye and potatoes. My prime rib unfortunately arrived raw. It was cold all around with not a hint of herbed crust and the smell of raw meat was strong. I touched it to see if it was at all warm, which it was not. Our server came right over and noticed that it wasn't cooked to my request. She took it back to the kitchen. So it wouldn't be enjoyed cold, I insisted that my husband enjoy his. He did and he really liked it. It was perfectly prepared, lightly seasoned, and he ate every bite. My prime rib was brought back and it was obvious that they flashed it as it was overly cooked throughout and tough. They took it back and prepared a new cut for me. Unfortunately, it too arrived just not prepared right. By this time the sides were cold as well. I took a few bites and really didn't want to make an issue of it. We had a lovely day so far and the appetizer was so yummy. The staff was great and accommodating without me even having to ask up to this point. They were also working very hard as it was the day after Christmas and they were busy! So, we simply moved on. Dessert time!! Hot Chocolate Lava Cake was ordered in advance as it takes some time to prepare. It was rich and decadent. Ice cream and heath bar topped the sinful delight. Definitely a winner. At the conclusion of our meal, the GM came over and apologized for the prime rib and acknowledged that it wasn't acceptable. She noted that we didn't get to enjoy the dinner together or sides due to timing. She kindly and without prompting removed the prime and sides from our bill. We were grateful and really impressed with the service and the communication from our server to management, even though we never complained. The team clearly takes pride in their jobs and in how their customers enjoy the experience. I am confident that the prime rib issues were just a fluke and don't represent their best. I'd try it again and we will definitely go back. Even when something goes not 100% right, you can still have a 5 star experience. As customers, it's important to understand that and give grace. We had a lovely date night and experience and look forward to dining at Chart House Prime again.

Yelp
I was in town made reservations and realized we were at the other location. I called to see if we were able to push our reservation and they were very accommodating. There was a short wait when we arrived. The atmosphere was amazing. I felt like I had the best seat in the house. We sat right by the fire and right behind the Dj who played a very good mix. Aiden was our server and he was top tier he gave the best service! I definitely will request him when I come back. Drinks: pomegranate tequila lemon drop 10/10 tiki 10/10 espresso martini 10/10 Food: blackened sea bass 10/10 side of shrimp 7/10 lobster risotto 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND creamy spinach 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dessert: cheesecake with strawberry 10/10 I camt forget the bathroom had a nice vibe as well there was a candle lit and a cart with feminine products. I love that. Overall an amazing experience, phenomenal food. We had one mishap and they were so quick with fixing it and making sure we were happy!

Yelp
Our waiter, Jared, was attentive, super helpful, and overall amazing! The food was delicious! We had kimchi calamari, spiced ahi tuna, sea bass, lava cake! We recommend this restaurant and all of the food and drinks.!

Yelp
Tamara and Josh are rude and don't belong in manager. Don't know how to keep reservations either. Worst restaurant I've been to ever.

Yelp
It could and should have been much better. With family in from out west, a nice brunch by the water in Annapolis we thought, would be a great idea. Wrong. We have been to Chart House's across the US but not to the Annapolis location in many years. While we had a reservation and arrived about 7 minutes before, we were told our table was being set up. When it was past our reservation time, we were told again our table was being set up. There were about 20 seated parties in the restaurant, so setting up a table should not have taken 10+ minutes with a reservation. Strike one. Our server was pleasant enough, but the table we sat at (7 in the party) was tight for us to fit in. We ordered our brunch items. As non-alcoholic drinkers, most ordered Iced tea. When they arrived, we could see right through the glasses. They were so watered down in appearance and taste. Even the refills were the same. It's almost as if they were short on tea bags and were stretching what they had. Strike two. When the supporting staff placed our meals down, they noted the plates were hot. When we tasted our brunch items, 6 noticed that while their plates were hot, the food was not. The 7th was served a cold plate because of the item. We had to ask for water refreshes 2x during the meal as some of us didn't drink the watered-down iced tea. Based on other reviews, dinner seems the better meal to choose. If searching for a brunch location, look for another one. Nothing we ordered was exceptional in flavor or worth returning for...so, Strike 3. Water views don't make that much of a difference if the meal is not enjoyable and you leave frustrated after the dining 'experience.' UPDATE: A few days later, at a great Italian restaurant in DC where our party met up again for another meal, all suggested i amendment my review from 2 stars to 1. They were still, days later, dissatisfied with the meal and experience.

Yelp
Loved this restaurant. This was our first stop for dinner when we got to Annapolis. The vibe is fantastic, the tall ceilings, ocean view and the Christmas decor were outstanding and made this a lovely experience. The Caesar salad was so amazing, served in a hardened cheese bowl and with peppers, among other things, we raved about the salad. The cream of crab soup was also very good- a little salty but very good nonetheless. The Eye of Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and was so so tasty. I added a crab cake which was okay, it came in some sauce which I would've preferred to have on the side but the crab cake itself was fantastic. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars was slow service. Our waiter took a long time to offer us refills, forgot to bring our bread until after the meal while we were doing dessert cocktails. Speaking of dessert cocktails, we tried the soufflé espresso martini. It's kind of an experience for the price of the drink. They make a frothy whipped topping at the table and pour it over the drink itself which gives you something to eat with a spoon while drinking the cocktail. I personally didn't love the froth, but it was tasty and a cool experience. Overall, very pleased. The food and atmosphere are fantastic!

Yelp
Beautiful views and great service. This restaurant has a nice ambiance and you can't beat the views plus it was my daughter's birthdays. The restaurant gave the girls a nice card. My daughters enjoyed their meals and drinks. We will be back again soon. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Yelp
Amazing spot. They had a DJ playing top 40. Music wasn't loud though. Wish it was louder. The food was banging. The service was amazing. It's spacious. Great for big groups. The drinks were delicious. So glad we came here from NY! Posted a video of this place on my Ig & tik tok: @jessiica0204

Yelp
BAD! service, food and a/c was broken. As former restaurant & hotel chefs my wife and I try to make the best of our experience. My suggestion, avoid The chart house for dinner.

Yelp
I hadn't been to Chart House since it became a Prime restaurant. The food was pretty great. The twist in the shrimp cocktail and the presentation was a great starter. Service was great and timely. You can't beat the views and I doubt there's a bad seat in the house.

Yelp
I was with a large party for a meeting. They had about 5 wait staff for us. They were attentive .All of them were great..1 Hispanic woman had a very heavy accent so we had to constantly repeat what ever we asked her. When she would respond back we had to have her repeat herself, but she did get it right.A mixed green sald was good and cut into smaller portion so as to not have a half of a lettuce leaf stuck to your fork. The dressing and heirloom tomatoes were a great combination. We ordered the medium sirloin, and sides. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was a little dry but was very good. The sauce they had with it was a good addition. The lumpy potatoes were good. Inside is designed very nice with plenty of bottles of wine. They also had a sushi bar sitting in the middle of the entrance area. We will try something else like the king salmon next time..

Yelp
Ambience of this place its romantic. Its located by the water and surrounded by beautiful sailboats. Service was great and everyone is very attentive. Steak melts in your mouth and chicken is juicy. I would recommend ordering their crab cheese dip.

Yelp
Sat and had dinner at the bar. Sleek space in a great waterfront location in Eastport. The smokey oyster appetizer was good but pricey for what you get. The blackened sea bass, however, was sublime. Note:it's not advertised as blackened on the menu, but they'll prepare it that way. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Yelp
My Parents and Godparents recently celebrated my Mom's 81st birthday. As is understandable, my four 80+ elders were running a little late (15 minutes) for their 4:30 pm reservation. As the restaurant was super busy, they could not accomodate their late arrival. I immediately reached out to the restaurant and luckily a cancellation came in. The Assistant Manager, Akeem, was so pleasant, understanding and helpful. My family said that another Manager kept checking in on them the whole dinner and made them feel very special (sorry I don't have his name, but they loved him!) I was able to arrange a gift card and it paid for all but .74 cents. That same Manager came over and said, the rest is on me and pulled out a dollar. They got the biggest kick out of that! Thank you Chart House for making my elders feel well taken care of special. They said the dinner was great too!

Yelp
I had such an exquisite time here. What a way to bring in the New Year's. Everything was delicious, from the warm bread and 3 dipping choices, to the cream of crab soup, the Lambchops were cooked to perfection and juicy to the most creamiest mash potatoes I have ever tasted. The Crispy Calamari was the best I have ever had. The cherry cheesecake and chocolate lava cake was perfection. I always finish off my meal with an espresso martini, very "Impressive" lol. Plus the Butterfly Effect Cocktail was so beautiful to watch being made. The atmosphere was chic and relaxing. And that ocean view, oh my. I will definitely be back to try more fabulous dinner options.

Yelp
We ordered two flights of mimosas and to our surprise they were made table-side. The blackberry was my favorite, I recommend if you like sweet drinks. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, it was served over a bed of lobster risotto and roasted tomato beurre blanc. It was delicious! Our server was great and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The restaurant was on the water and the ambience was relaxing. I can't wait to visit Annapolis again and eat here!

Yelp
Chart House has a great happy hour (I go for the food), so I stopped by to treat myself. I started with firecracker shrimp which comes with a side of crisp rice noodles. It's tempura fried, lightly breaded, coated with kimchi sauce, & it's yummy. It's supposed to be spicy but it's not which is I'm fine for me. The prime lip sliders are delicious. They are melt in your mouth good. Just a right amount of horseradish, a little bit of cheese, caramelized onions, lots of thinly slice to meat, lightly toasted bread, & au jus. They only gave me one small container of au jus, so I would definitely recommend getting two.

Yelp
Been here twice now. Once last fall and again last night. A big difference in the experience. Last fall was darned close to perfection. Perfection would have come by ditching the hip hop music that was inappropriate for the sort of crowd at this level of restaurant. Last night was a different story. Sat night, reservations at 7 but we were not seated until almost 8. Spent an hour standing in the overcrowded bar area nursing a drink. The music wasn't hip hop this time, and thankfully not as loud, but a sort of rock mix that still doesn't fit. Can't they just get a stack of light jazz and piano CD's and call it a day? My calamari was excellent but just not as good. (The kitchen was careless and didn't mix the sauce evenly with the calamari) My rockfish with crabmeat was good but not special. My wife's wedge salad was outstanding. Her filet was perfect. Brussels spout side was perfect. The potato skillet side was basically a bowl of thickened cream, and if it wasn't called a potato dish I would not have identified it as one. A simple baked potato would have been preferable to that if it were offered. I was left with the impression this place is suffering from success. Too busy to seat us properly. The busy kitchen was too slammed and the food suffered for that. Was it good? Yes. As good as before, no. Worth the $300 for the two us? Maybe, but maybe not. I'll not even try it again on a weekend. Maybe they can take more care on a weeknight, and certainly manage to seat us reasonably close to our reserved time. PS: tell the server delivering food to the table with the flat brimmed cap to ditch the hat and make an attempt to look presentable. PPS: please put salt and pepper on the table, as it would have helped my mediocre rockfish, and my wife likes extra pepper on her steak.

Yelp
Made reservations here for a Friday night dinner with family. The atmosphere was pleasant but seemed a bit overpacked, with tables everywhere. The service sucked (server forgot to place our order until 30 mins later, the manager had to get involved). So, once the food came out, things got better. But by the night's end, it was a terrible experience, not a place I would recommend.

Yelp
First let's address the elephant in the room. This place is expensive. Prepare to drop some serious coin. Wanna impress a client on company expense account? This is the place! A romantic dinner to impress a new love interest? Anniversary? Birthday? Yep. It's the place, also. Five stars for ambiance, location and service. But what of the food? Well, it's pretty darn good too. However, I can't put it at 5 stars. There's not enough that's so unique or so meticulously prepared. But everything is quite delicious and well presented. If the food game were taken up a notch or the prices down a notch, this amateur critic would have doled out the fifth star. And wear something nice.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of dining here for Mother's Day. We made reservations in advance however our table was not ready. Which was okay by me because they were super busy. When you walk in you notice their incredible wine selection. I ended up drinking one of my old favorites (Riesling). Once seated out server was right there. He was delightful, energetic, and honestly such a fun spirit. We started with apps of the bone marrow, crab dip and crab cake. Now these apps were absolutely amazing. The crab cake app is served with a perfectly tempura fried soft shell crab, two sauces and a heirloom tomato. Not to mention the lump crab cake on top of all of that. Prior to this soft shell crab I've avoiding them but this one was cleaned and fried perfectly. If you don't know what to get the bone marrow was delicious. Roasted to perfection and seasoned very well. And last but not least the crab dip was the best mixture of creamy yet crabby lol. The apps were my favorite part of this meal. While we waited for our courses to start we got the chance to enjoy the amazing view. As we watched ships go by. Now because it was Mother's Day they only had the $75 courses meal available. Which from that I ordered the Caesar, prime rib, and drunken cheesecake. The cheesecake was the star of those three. The presentation on the salad was lacking and it also left more to be desired in flavor. I experienced the same issues with the prime rib. However I will note it was cooked to perfection as far as temperature was concerned. If you are looking at the drinks and you want me the cart at your table. Get the butterfly effect. Other than overall I enjoyed myself and I'd come back again.

Yelp
This place was spot on. Went for our 25th Anniversary with our teen kids. Served was amazing, food was amazing...not sure how they knew but the chef sent a desert for us. The atmosphere was great. Just a great place that I would recommend for dinner dates or those special occasions.

Yelp
The food was ok. Great place for the ambiance but there was just nothing about the food that was standout enough to go back. If you're going for a good time and drinks with a nice atmosphere YES. If you're hungry and really want some standout fish like some of the best you've had NO.

Yelp
Four solid stars for Chart House Prime. Ambiance, service, vittles, and cocktails are all top notch. The only shortcoming is the parking situation. There's a small lot which nowhere nearly accommodates the capacity of the restaurant. Either way, if you're in the area, add CHP to your list.

Yelp
We had a reservation and they sat us about a half an hour late. We waited 45 minutes for them to tell us we could not use our gift cards. Apparantly, their system was down. They should have just let us know sooner, rather than having us sit and wait that long. We have been Landry members for a long time, but usually go to the one in Alexandria. This was not the service I wouid expect at this kind of restaurant. We will not be returning to this location.
