Chase Center on the Riverfront

This a large banquet hall for marriages and similar occasions. Very tastefully decorated with great aesthetics and a large, spacious designs. Very familiar with Indian marriages and various halls can be used for the different events in the marriage. Large, free parking lot. Adjacent to a hotel.

We had a very disappointing experience with this wedding venue. It was more expensive compared to a lot of other venues of the same caliber, yet there was nothing special or exceptional to justify the cost. While they were very strict about enforcing the rules we were required to follow per the contract, they did not uphold their own contractual obligations. Items and services that were clearly promised in the contract were later questioned or attempted to be changed close to the wedding date. When we pointed out that these items were explicitly included in the contract, they acknowledged it and agreed. However, on the actual wedding day, they proceeded to do what they wanted rather than what was contractually promised. There was no time or opportunity to address or dispute this in the moment, which left us feeling taken advantage of. The experience felt very unprofessional and, honestly, quite scam-like. For the price we paid, we expected far better professionalism, transparency, and customer service. Unfortunately, this venue did not deliver on what was promised.

The center has ample parking conveniently located just across the street, with only a short walk required. The halls are spacious and well-ventilated, with excellent temperature control. Its proximity to the river adds a pleasant local charm to the setting.

Chase Center on the Riverfront is such a cool spot! The location right by the water makes it feel special, and the view is stunning, especially at sunset. The venue itself is modern, spacious, and always has a great vibe, whether you’re there for a concert, event, or just to hang out. The food options are solid too, with a nice mix of local flavors and comfort food. The staff is friendly, and the whole place just has a great energy to it. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

I was a vendor at the Brandywine holiday craft fair. The organizers kept the facilities very clean. Well organized and super friendly. Parking was plenty.

Beautiful establishment, food was excellent, but their sound system is horrible for live entertainment. They need to invest in better equipment.

Great venue. We were tgere doing a walk thru for and up coming wedding for our son. The staff explained tge plans very well. Tge chefs walked us thru kit he and showed us where everything eas.

I had a beautiful experience coming here today. It’s very spacious and has lots of bathrooms. Would definitely return.

Thursday, September 14 6:30 PM attended the ladies auxiliary state wide convention the chase center is a beautiful venue, spacious new and well-kept. Unfortunately our table was called up to the buffet line and they were out of six items on the line. I had to wait for 10 minutes before they brought out the food for the six items that were missing no beef no rolls no bacon no salad no fried onions no mushrooms, it was make your own cheesesteak when I asked the woman that called our table. She blamed it on the kitchen. I feel sorry for the chef because the food was exceptional and on point they just did not communicate with the kitchen that they were out of food. The desserts looked lovely, but they ran out before I could get any, it's unfortunate to have point on excellent food and a great chef but the buffet line didn't have the food it was in the kitchen .

I really don't know where to began. From the first phone call I made, I knew I made the best decision to host my "Free Homebuyers Workshop" at the Chase Center. Julie Shaw Dir. of Sales is AWESOME. She asked me what I need and what was I looking for. Julie and her staff (everyone) were so accommodating. I am encouraging anyone who wants to host an event to truly consider the Chase Center. I attended a wedding reception at the Chase Center this past weekend and it was fabulous. The venue is enormous; there were two weddings taking place at the same time and we never crossed paths. There is a huge parking lot and the Center conveniently connects to the Westin Hotel, which was a no-brainer for guests who over indulged at the festivities. There was a separate ballroom for cocktail hour and the actual reception, and it was more than enough space for 180 guests. The main ballroom is beautiful with a large dance floor, bar, and plenty of room for round tables, a DJ stand, dessert bar, etc. The staff had service down to a science. Hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour were continuously replenished, dinner entrees were served one entire table at a time so that no one guest would be left without food, and I never had to wait more than a few minutes at the bar for a drink despite the constant line of guests. What really surprised me about the Chase Center was their catering. You don't hear this often, but the food was AMAZING. The cocktail hour had passed dishes such as bacon wrapped scallops, crab cakes, and pork belly, all of which were extremely popular. The bride and groom also selected the Pan Asian station, which should be at every wedding. It featured chicken skewers, dumplings, tempura shrimp, various sushi rolls, and dipping sauces. I couldn't help myself, it was all so good that I hardly saved room for dinner. My entree was steak "medallions" which were really more like two entire 3 or 4 ounce fillets. They were perfectly cooked delicious. There were also vegetables and mashed potatoes in gravy, and despite being way too full from earlier everyone around me cleared their plates. My only complaints are minor. Those who paid for the wedding were disappointed that they could not box all the leftover food. We understood it's not a restaurant, but if food is completely paid for and prepared and served in-house it shouldn't go in the trash. Also, the staff promptly locked off the bridal suite adjacent to the ballroom after the event ended, leaving bouquets, clothing, and other items belonging to the bridal party stuck inside until the following Monday.

We attended a corporate dinner/dance event in the Christina Ballroom. This venue is easy to get to for us and free parking is great, however the event was a bit "sterile" and "cookie cutter" for me and there is no way I would have a wedding here. Trade show? Perfect. Wedding? Not so much. Meanwhile the staff was wonderful especially servers Nicole and Latavia. (Not sure if they came from the venue or from a catering company.) This venue is a great asset for the Wilmington area and I hope they will keep it well maintained (bathrooms were spacious and clean - hooray!). Please support business in Wilmington, DE - they need your support.

This is a great location for the conference I'm attending. I don't know if it was the conference organizers or the location, but they included gender neutral bathrooms and a lactation room which is awesome. The food has been good. And the service has been great.

This is only building for Shows in Delaware. if there is Any show or convention​ this is the only place to go in Delaware. I believe Community can do more of this social events but somehow there is not much. The building​ at Wilmington​ and near I-95. Loading and unloading for shows are easy because of Loading Docks​.

I was only here for one day at a conference. I was impressed. The staff was attentive and cared about our needs. Parking lot was adequate though as another reviewer stated there isn't any shade. I found the temperature to be appropriate and comfortable. Though for some reason the bathrooms were freezing cold. The food they served was delicious, fresh, and a good temperature.

Positive feed back: Big Center, clean and friendly staff. Big parking lot! MANY MANY Restrooms (for those if you want to know). AC is powerful (wearing a sweater on a 90 degree weather) Nice selection of Food for a decent price Negative feed back: I heard 3 cars got broken to because of their GPS (be careful) No food or drinks INSIDE the meeting rooms. walking distance from parking lot to the center is pretty far

This is a big, beautiful venue. Parking was plentiful and clean. Come here for the 2016 Fine Arts Fair and it was really nice.

I have not had my wedding yet...it will be here in 2 weeks. But let me tell you why THIS is the place to have your wedding. Weddings are stressful - but everything that has to do with your package goes through them. I don't have to pay a florist, caterer, etc. etc. because it ALL goes through them. Which makes planning SO easy. Also, every person that I have worked with at the Chase Center, Katie, Dee, and the audio-visual guy have been QUICK to respond to emails, and are pleasant to work with. As things have been getting crazy they respond to as many emails as I send, and they are beyond a joy to work with. They will do whatever they can to help you. It's like having your own personal planner without paying for a separate one, you don't need one! I have been beyond impressed with them since day one and would recommend them. They have put me at ease and made planning as easy as possible and the facility is beautiful. Lastly, it is a good DEAL! Holy Cow! You get so much more bang for your buck at the Chase Center than you do any where else.
