Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club San Diego

This is by far, the best lounge experience we have had. We have been to Priority Pass and Centurion lounges around the world, and this Sapphire lounge had the best service, food, amenities, and overall vibe. Most lounges are crowded no matter what time of year you travel. This lounge was relatively uncrowded with plenty of space to relax. The chairs and tables are spread far apart, and the environment is tastefully designed to promote a relaxing experience. Our server, Deborah, was very attentive and made sure we knew about all the amenities they offered. We loved the burgers and nonalcoholic drinks they served on the menu, and the icing on the cake was literally the icing on the red velvet cake and chocolate chip cookies. It was such a lovely oasis after a 36 hour travel saga from canceled flights at our previous destination.

I visited the Chase Sapphire Lounge in San Diego with my daughter and we had a great experience. The lounge offers a nice mix of ready-made plates and a made-to-order menu. I do wish the menu were a bit more extensive, but everything we tried was tasty and nicely presented. One standout feature is the private rooms, perfect for making or taking business calls without disturbing others. The ambiance throughout the lounge is calm, stylish, and comfortable, making it a relaxing place to spend time before a flight. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come here again. It’s a solid option for both a quick bite and a quiet place to get things done.

The Sapphire Lounge at San Diego airport was amazing. The hostess was incredibly kind and welcoming. The lounge is huge compared to some others I’ve been to, and there’s a great buffet-style setup where you can pick whatever you want, plus coffee and plenty of beverage options. I was there during breakfast and loved that you could also pre-order items from their menu using a QR code on the table. Overall, the variety of food and the whole setup felt very premium. It’s accessible to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders and Priority Pass members, and I’m really excited to experience more of Sapphire lounges.

What a great lounge! The wait wasn't too bad for a Friday evening, we were told at least an hour for 3 and it ended up being about 30mins. The staff is outstanding, very friendly, professional and accommodating. There is food and drinks you can get yourself and you can also scan a barcode on your table and order other food to be made in their kitchen and alcoholic drinks. Everything we tasted was great. It's all included, we just tipped the staff that brought our food and drinks. This lounge made the wait for our flight very pleasant.

Great experience. I had expected a wait of around an hour but was off the waitlist in 5 min. I liked the healthy and appropriately portioned self serve food options. I was happy to with the vegetarian options as well as the food being clearly labeled. Standard CSR lounge made to order options with added local seafood speciality list. The amenity reservation options included the quiet relax space and the facial - recommended to book those as soon as you’re in, even before the food orders. Staff were polite and friendly.

Not sure what policy is, but if it was explained instead of the pre checkin staff weren't rude to my husband. The women that replaced them a half hour later were super nice and seemed surprised of the interaction and what was told to him prior. Anyway, that didnt sour the experience too much, the lounge was nice. Pretty quiet atmosphere for the most part. Easy to drown out with over the ear headphones. Food choices were decent, I'd recommend the made-to-order food. I got a burger, the husband got a few other items. He enjoyed his non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Comfortable seating. Bummer bathrooms were out of order and hs to go downstairs to use restrooms.

Location of this lounge is nearby the TSA security checkpoint exit at Terminal 2. It has an elevator and also stairs to access on the higher floor. Upon check in, they gifted 2 free luggage tags for me and my guest. At 8:45am on Wednesday there was plenty of space to spread out and get seating with electrical outlets. We loved the plush couch seating. Each seating spot had a sign for the free WiFi password and a QR code to order made to order food. You can reserve a free 15 minute face massage, or a relaxing pod through the QR code. During morning, there was breakfast until 10:30am. From Oscar’s you can only order a breakfast sandwich, which actually turned out really good! We tried some of the other items like breakfast bao, breakfast sausage egg plate, and from the buffet and they were all either too dry or too salty. For drinks there was a fancy coffee machine, drinks available from the bar or order on the QR code, or electrolyte waters or spindrift. The women’s restroom had amenities like feminine products, makeup remover wipes, body cleaning wipes, floss picks. Overall a much nicer lounger experience than the other ones part of the Priority Pass program.

Came here for a quick snack and only stayed for 15 mins. Their buffet food was ok, seems like very healthy options which I like. They also have a make to order menu which I didn’t try due to time constraints. Also have a variety of can drinks, coffee, tea and alcohol. Definitely better than a lot of the other lounge.

OMG! I wish i could come here every time i was at the airport. Alas i only get to come once per year. The "normal" lounge lacks any good food. this place had small bites set out for self service then i saw a QR code that we could order better food!!!! omg we got a few bites. i also had a couple espresso martini's to start my day. everything about this lounge was amazing!! see you in 2027. Really makes me want a chase sapphire card.

This is a great lounge in SD and probably one of the best perks of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card! Food was surprisingly great, cocktails were on point, and there was plenty of adequate seating. All of the staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was nicely upscale and clean. Highlights: + The burger and fries was strangely good! Better than the same one I ordered in the NYC Sapphire lounge. The food made to order is better than the buffet food for sure + Lots of seating and quick wait times to enter the lounge +They have a room with comfy chairs, light curtains, and calming ambient noise that I tried - great for resting my eyes This lounge is leaps and bounds ahead of so many others in San Diego and on the west coast in general, especially as it's just a card-based lounge and not even business/first. Definitely worth stopping by here!

To those of us who play the credit card benefits game beyond points and miles lounge access and amenities has always been an Amex game, but with them dropping the ball globally we've seen an uptick in high quality lounges across the globe from competitors like Capital One, but more spcifically Chase. Their strategy in creating better lounges at key airports both domesitcally and abroad has show us what it's supposed to be like. Vying for our loyalty and spend. Flying out of SAN i've never much cared for lounges on the outbound legs, but coming home has always been a nice respite for a weary traveller and often I plan trips based on lounge access becuase afterall who wants to go to a lounge when you can just go home. Even if the amenities are free, my time away is too valueble. A large, spacious lounge that more than rivals Amex. You can get in using a Reserve card of PP. I believe there are limittations to access when you ahve a PP or a Preferred. It's even worth it for a day pass because the food, service, ambiance is all there. Sure you have the usual flyers who are rude, take up too much space, are loud, obnoxious and act like they've never been in a lounge or really just bothersome to us road warriors, but all in all it's so new everyone is just checking it out. It's very busy becuase it's so new, it's the latest and greatest, most people are trying to take advantage of them becuase we've been neglected by SAN lounges for so long. I always reccomend keeping your sunglasses on at all times, noise cancelling headphones and looking pre-occupied at your own pace becuase I find alot of people aren't here to kind of act the part rather than use it what it's meant for. I will not sacrifice my experience here for others, sorry. There are grab and go snacks and small plates to entrees. Drinks are good, but not as impressive as the Chase set ups in NYC or at the menu at the US Open. Service is better than Amex and PP, but I think that's becuase they are new, lets give them a few years and see if they hold up. With Phoenix open and soon to be Vegas I'm pretty happy with the network. They just closed Austin, but that wasn't a full lounge. Having a Chicago location would make me infinitely happy as that's my usual destination.

Came to this lounge while waiting for our flight to Hawaii as we were delayed like 3 times so the lounge was clutch. The chase lounges are one of the better lounges I've been to. Comes standard if you have a chase sapphire reserve card you already know it's an awesome perk for travelers

I was a bit worried given I'm an Amex platinum nobody... ya know the type... using their priority pass without any restaurant privileges... but clacking our metal cards like those in the very exclusive club of everyone... Basically we get one crack at the lounge here, us nobodies... we get one special chance of the year to feel those who were smart enough to get a credit card who would bring a lounge to San Diego... I mean you could pay $75 for another crack ... but .... The space is freaking light years away from the other lounge options here. You almost feel like you're somewhere else... like an airport with proper lounges! It's very centurion lounge feeling without the Greyhound bus stop open air purgatory that Aspire lounge has. For those who travel a lot, this lounge feels line when you put on your jacket and feel as if you can face the world. Aspire feels like dusting off the knee pads for the many compromises you'll be sure to face. Anyways, the food is kinda shit. Yeah I said it! Better than any other lounge here though. The signature noodles are a mess... congealed noodles with a hit of peanut sauce (yay?)... it goes on and on. . Just a damn mess. But again better than anything on offer here. Service is insanely good. I felt like a very elderly dowager... one with no children and great wealth. Everyone being so very nice and helpful! Like they were after my nonexistent inheritance! Minus some energy cuz they were playing Christmas music after Christmas... I mean come on. Camilla enjoyed her time and that's all we can really hope for... everything else is icing !

This lounge is one of the biggest deciding factors of why I'll be leaving American Express this year. Chase Sapphire nailed it with this lounge and Amex has continued to drop the ball by neglecting SD and steering us all to the crummy Priority Pass lounge. The food, the drinks, the staff... all awesome. They don't let the lounge get too crowded and while you have the ability to grab certain food and drinks yourself, you can also order from the menu and they'll bring out freshly prepared dishes. It's fantastic. The irony of this? Well, Amex actually pays for a once a year visit to another lounge and that basically equates them paying for me to make the decision to leave them. Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

Located in San Diego airport (SDIA) terminal 2 next to gate 47. Loved the experience! There are lots of appetizers hot and cold, plenty of cocktails, coffee, juice, fruit etc. amenities here include private wellness rooms, phone call rooms so you can take business calls, and a treatment room. Order food and cocktails from QR code at your table. Service was fast as I was here on Thursday morning in January. More cocktails available at the bar. Check out the picks! I tried cocktails beehive and the sapphire. Really loved beehive. That's it. Try to allow 30 minutes to spend in here.

My son and I were a bit early for our flight, and we decided to check out the Chase Sapphire Lounge. Food was quite fancy and limited, however managed to score some sweet potato for my son to eat. The other bites were good, but limiting on what he could eat. We realized there was a children's area after we settled down, and he was instantly intrigued after we went in. Other kiddos were nearby, but they all left for flights so didn't have an opportunity to play with others. He had a blowout while playing in the children's area, and thankfully there are about 3 areas you can change them in. One of the staff kindly walked me back as she was cleaning up, and showed me which areas I could have gone to. As the 2 more private areas were taken, I ended up having to use the womens' restroom towards the end to change him. It was quite the messy blowout, and I was grateful that there wasn't TOO much foot traffic while I was attempting to maneuver the change with him being quite upset after I accidently put him down too quick/him squirming around constantly. After maybe 15-20 minutes, he was cleaned up and we hung around for maybe 5 minutes before we needed to head out to make it for our flight as it was a far hallways down. We definitely would want to come back - and I hope for that little airplane he was playing with, we could possibly purchase, as that was his first time interested in an airplane instead of the cars.

Wow this Sapphire Lounge is impressively spacious. Accessible via the sapphire reserve card or priority pass travel card. Lots of seating area, beautiful art on the walls, good lighting, and amenities. They had a decent deflection of food during breakfast hours and beautifully prepared. It's like walking in a magazine article with well designed and thought out interior design and flow. Staff was helpful at the front, easy check in.

I finally got to fly out of terminal 2 and come here!! This one was totally worth the wait. I've been to a few different Sapphire lounges and this one reminded me a bit of the one in LGA but without the upstairs. The lounge itself was pretty big with several different rooms to sit in with tables. The bar area was quite large as well. The staff was all attentive and friendly. Some of the breakfast items were different than other sapphire lounges. I liked the mini frittata, the Chia seed pudding, and the Ginger smoothie in a pot.

The Chase Sapphire Lounge always seems to be at capacity, so you'll likely need the Chase Sapphire Reserve card to enter. The service was on-point and led us straight to our table after we checked in. The buffet line featured a selection of small plates, and for breakfast, we had the egg & sausage scramble, spinach & mushroom hash, seeded pancakes, biscuit with whipped goat cheese, and a smoked salmon brown rice bowl. But my favorite small plate was the chicken and egg quesadilla, topped with a corn and black bean salsa. Even better though, were the made-to-order plates you could order from your phone. From this selection, we had the shrimp & cheddar grits, the blueberry yogurt bowl, and the sopa de tortilla (tortilla soup). But the best item of all was the breakfast sando, made in collaboration with the local restaurant chain Oscar's Mexican Seafood. The sandwich was made of scrambled egg, bacon, cheddar, arugula, and jalapeño aioli on a buttered and toasted telera roll, which had a nice crusty texture. Overall, this was a standout lounge with a premium feel--definitely worth checking out if you can get in!

Very solid lounge and a huge step up from The standard Priority Pass options. However, I do think the Capital One lounges and better value. I was definitely comparing the timing of drinks and food to Capital One. I've been to three of theirs and this is my first Chase Sapphire lounge. The space is beautiful and they have lots of options for seating. They also offer free mini facials, but it looks like they have limited availability for that. Worth a visit if you have the card, but it do you don't travel a lot, the new fee is a lot.

Such a great addition to the San Diego airport! Lounge is located between Gate 46 & 47 in Terminal 2. There is an elevator that takes you to the entrance or you can take the stairs. There are staff members who manage the occupancy before you can enter. The food and drinks were excellent, definitely better than other lounges. There are several seating areas and the space was really comfortable. The service staff are kind and attentive. Definitely a must visit every time we fly out of Terminal 2.

One of the cleanest and well organized airport lounges I've been to. They have good made to order food and good cocktail selections. There's good amount of space inside and you'll be able to wait comfortably for your flight.

Love the calm classy vibes before taking off an another adventure! Checking in is easy with your Chase Sapphire Reserve Card or Priority pass. Check out the pre-plated food items, desserts, snacks and fruit. Grab a spot to sit. Join the WiFi, scan the QR and order made to order food and drink items brought out to your table! Love it! Stop by or sit at the bar if you want a different drink than what is on the menu. Always could spend more time here but alas, time is limited here to 3 hours prior to your flight so I usually plan to get in early stop by for an hour before heading to our gate. On our 4th visit this year we were able to snag some luggage tags! They had been out of stock all the times we visited before, I just assumed that it was during the opening and was happy to have a little takeaway item to put on our bags. Until our next visit, can't wait! Only downside is that if you're flying out of Terminal 1, you'll have to go through security twice if you want to stop by this Lounge in Terminal 2. Waiting for the construction to be completed since I heard that in 2028 or so they'll have a connection between terminal 1 and 2 after TSA security. Until then, plan accordingly if you're not flying out of Terminal 2 and want to stop by. We did it last week and it worked out well, but we definitely looked at how fast security was going before we committed to stopping by!

The Chase Sapphire Lounge truly shines like its name : an experience as brilliant as a sapphire. From the moment you're welcomed, the warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail make you feel like a VIP . The food alone is worth the visit . The Thai fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender all the way through--so flavorful it needed no sauce at all. Starters like the pearl couscous spread with Parmesan , the velvety Muhammara dip with pillowy pita bread , and the broccoli salad delicately drizzled with aromatic Greek olive oil were each fresh and memorable. But the standout for me was the Parmesan coleslaw-style salad --light, crisp, and topped with thin shavings of Parmesan that made it one of the best salads I've ever had. For mains, the lemon- and garlic-scented salmon with fluffy rice and broccoli was so fresh and balanced it felt like a home-cooked meal. The Beyond Meat burger on buttery brioche was hearty and indulgent, while the Asian noodles tossed with spicy sauce, edamame, and chickpeas delivered the perfect kick to become another favorite. The tender pulled meat over brown rice was unexpectedly comforting. The bar is another highlight . David, who remembered my exact preferences, served an Aperol Spritz that was bright and refreshing, a Baileys with cinnamon dusting that felt like dessert in a glass, and both a classic vermouth and a silky espresso martini with a cinnamon twist , all executed with finesse. Beyond cocktails, there are refreshments available at all times along with a full range of coffee options , perfect for any traveler who wants to fuel up day or night. Beyond food and drinks, the lounge itself offers plush, comfortable seating , spa treatments if booked in advance, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes time before a flight genuinely enjoyable . They even have diapers for baby's in the restrooms in case you run into an emergency situation with the little ones. But what truly sets this lounge apart is the people . From Jenny rolling out the Chase-blue carpet , Andrea, Ami, Josue, Jonathan, Isa, and even the next American Idol star colleague who sang for us , everyone ensured check-in and the lounge experience ran seamlessly. Big kudos to the bar team and kitchen staff ‍ who crafted every recipe with passion and care. The service was thoughtful, personal, and exceptional at every step, all carefully led by manager Ayesha Moin, who truly delivers the Sapphire standard. I've traveled through lounges in Dubai, Bangkok, Moscow, Madrid, Paris, and New York , but none match the Sapphire standard set here in San Diego . This isn't just a lounge, it's one of my favorite dining and travel experiences anywhere. I'd happily plan another trip just to relive this San Diego travel state of mind all over again. The lounge wasn't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon when we stopped by. There was plenty of space to stretch out - especially towards the restroom area. The online menu had plenty of variety to choose from (the pre cooked hot food was kind of random so we skipped) and the fridge was well stocked with interesting drinks. The burger was probably the best thing we ate there and we'll be back the next time we're in SD

Lots of seating. Food pretty good, but not much variety. No fruit at dinner time. There is food you can grab near kitchen and you can order online. Burger is tasty but bun is too hard. They also have Impossible burger. Comes with fries. Chicken pesto nuggets near kitchen is the best. Delicious and not over cooked. Small cans of soda. There is water and cold brew available but it was empty when we were there. We used the self bottle filler instead. Espresso machine is great. Coffee beans they use are great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can come in 3 hours before your flight. Good lounge, but I would not pay for entry.

We stopped in here on a flight out of SD a few weeks ago. We have a Chase Sapphire Reserve card and got access from that. The lounge is gorgeous and one of the best airport lounges I've ever been to. Customer service there was fantastic. Everyone working there was friendly, extremely helpful, and responsive to any questions/requests. This really made this lounge stand out from others like the Centurion lounges we usually go to. We got there in between breakfast and lunch time. You can order meals to be delivered to your table from a QR code while it's during meal times, or there's a buffet with different small dishes on it throughout the day. We got to try a few breakfast dishes and some lunch ones when they switched over to that. Almost everything we got was tasty and surprisingly good for lounge food. Some standouts were the brownies, a fried chicken with yuzu sauce, and a scrambled egg and sausage dish that our toddler loved. They have a bar for any drinks you would like, along with a self service coffee bar on the side that even included cold brew. I can't recommend this lounge enough. I wish we had one at SeaTac!

Definitely glad chase finally added a sapphire lounge to SD! They have a decent selection of cocktails and local craft beer on par with other lounges. And although the food is okay, I was disappointed with the selection of food curated from Oscar's menu. Would've loved to see some fish tacos on there! The staff is friendly and accommodating and there's plenty of seating with a decent view. There is also the option for a facial that you can schedule ahead of time.

This lounge is hands-down the best part of flying out of SAN. Beautiful modern design, plenty of natural light, and a relaxed San Diego vibe. The staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel taken care of the whole time. Food and drinks are a huge step above typical airport fare. From made-to-order dishes to craft cocktails and local coffee. Loved the mix of buffet and plated options. Amenities like shower suites, quiet pods, and even a wellness room make it feel more like a boutique hotel than an airport lounge. Seating can get busy at peak times, but it never felt stressful. If you have access, don't miss it . This lounge makes traveling feel like a treat.

One of the best airport lounges I've been to. Beautiful space, never too crowded, and 100% worth it if you've got access. Burger: GET This is the best thing on the menu hands down. Juicy, flavorful, cooked just right -- don't skip this. Signature Sapphire Cocktail: GET Super tasty and well-balanced. Feels elevated but still easy to enjoy. Perfect for pre-flight sipping. Everything Else: Maybe Some of the other made-to-order dishes were hit or miss for me, but honestly still fun to try if you've got time to chill. Service is amazing every time. Everyone's super friendly and helpful. Make sure to use the QR code at your table to order food and drinks -- it's super easy and everything gets brought right to you. There's also a hot and cold food bar if you want to grab stuff yourself while you wait. The atmosphere is amazing. I've been like 4 times and it's never been packed. Always easy to find a seat whether you want a bar stool, table, couch, or lounge area. There's even a facial service (scan the QR code to book!) which is such a cool bonus. It's in Terminal 2, but even if I fly out of Terminal 1 I still show up early just to hang out here LOL. Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Value: 9/10

Delightful experience in the San Diego airport. Loved my breakfast bao. Service was efficient. Plenty of seating and relaxing.

Lots of turn over. I'd say pick a table with no dishes on it as this is a very busy place with travelers coming and going in addition to the staff trying to meet this demand. The food and drinks are free. Tip when you leave, the service of the staff deserves it. Plus parents with kids, don't leave a mess. It's not cool when you leave with food all over. I saw kids running around while the parents just doused themselves in food and drinks with zero dis-regard for anyone else. Tip. Tip. Tip, no $2. If you can afford a flight... drop a $10.

Let me preface this review with a slight disclaimer that lounge access is a newish concept to me and normally we land in a competitors lounge. I have never stepped foot in a Chase Sapphire lounge but holy crow is this place remarkable. In the competitor lounges we've frequented because we have their platinum card, they are nice... but also pretty crowded with tables crammed in to accommodate the max number of travelers, limited food selections, etc. so it's nice but when we walked in here I was blown away. Throughout the entire lounge there are ample seating options. Comfy chairs or couches or desks or tables. They could fit in a lot more tables and chairs but to do so would impact the elevated experience. They also have food to order with QR codes at each table. Don't want to get up to get that next Prosecco? Order from your table. Not seeing anything on the buffet interesting? Order from your table. And while the food is good, it's the environment that was most appreciated. Kinda makes me wonder if we should reevaluate which cards we carry regularly. Something to consider at least.

Amazing lounge that have the premium feel of a first class lounge with relatively ease to get in either by holding a CSR credit card. The food was the best domestic airport lounge food that I ever had but international lounges still outranks this lounge. And yes, this lounge is slightly better than Capitol One Lounge in DFW. The option to order fresh plate of hot food is incredible. It is such an uncommon but greatly appreciated service and the food comes out pretty quick too! Cocktails were also amazing and very upscale taste. Unfortunately I don't have a CSL in my home airport Austin so I will be downgrading my CSR. Lucky for those who do, definitely worth it!

First time here in a Chase lounge. cause there's not too many of them but I believe it's coming up in most metropolitan cities across the country. Located at Terminal 2 between gates 46/47. There's no app waiting list like the AMEX centurion lounge. So you'll have to get there and put your name of the list. My wait was about 30mins...wait listed at 1pm. Service is impeccable and friendly staff. Food is good! You can select made to order burgers, fries, Mexican food, cocktails...etc. and it'll be deliver to your table. Compared to AMEX centurion lounge, I'd say the selections are better at AMEX, but Chase lounge is a much better value than AMEX. Atmosphere and amenities are better than AMEx. It did not cost me anything for me and a guest to get it. Overall I would go to a Chase Sapphire lounge if it's available at the airport.

Great place to hang before a flight. Not too noisy, good food selection, great cocktail list. The service is always phenomenal. It's a little smaller than the new one out in Philly but equally pleasant.

Located in Terminal 2 of the San Diego airport, I was anxiously awaiting for the opening of this Sapphire Lounge. I visited the Boston lounge, and it was fantastic. My expectations were high, and they met them... Service - The staff at the check in desk were awesome. They were quick with getting us checked in and were extremely friendly. The servers that brought the cocktails and dishes prepped in the kitchen were friendly and kept our tables clear as I chowed down on the food. Ambiance - The rectangular shaped main bar is beautiful and seats many. There's plenty of lounge rooms housing tables, couches, chairs and charging ports for the guests. The decor and lighting is contemporary with a San Diego beach theme vibe rolled in. They had wellness rooms I'll reserve on my next visit and dedicated rooms to take private phone calls as well. I loved the setup. Dishes - You can either hit up the pre-made area or scan the QR code at your table to have the kitchen put together a dish for you. I did both The Pre-made section had tapas sized dishes for you to explore: Hummus & Pita Bread - fresh White Noodles - Chick Peas and peanut sauce were great Grilled Cheese - good to go Salad - to stay healthy Order food - I went with the Sapphire Cheeseburger. A nice tasty burger was brought to us by our server. I'm so glad the San Diego Chase Sapphire lounge is open. I'm looking forward to the Las Vegas lounge to open sometime this year...safe travels!

We were added to the waitlist and it took 20 mins, plan ahead. We almost missed our flight but I insisted I wanted to go. We took the elevator and was immediately greeted the staff was awesome and very attentive. The bar and the space was beautifully decorated. The food was decent, a lot of options. My favorite was the burger and the sapphire cocktail. The cocktail had glitter on it too. Way too cute. I was little bummed the spa was closed. Can't complain for a free service. Glad I was able to have a nice amenity added to my credit card that I can actually use, definitely will try to be here within 2 hours.

Service, horrendous. They don't know how to prioritize or run the entry process to this place. They don't take care of their members (allow them to go in and grab a snack then leave). It's decorated okay but too many people there causes it to bring the vibe down. Food takes way too long to order.

Take the elevator to the second floor. Show them your Chase Reserve card and boarding pass. P1 was able to get me in as a guest for free. I previewed this lounge on You Tube and it's even better in person. Had a wellness room, facial room, and phone room if you want silence. The food choices were endless. Lots of hot pastries, drinks, bar, and restaurant style food. Order your hot fresh cooked meal from your table using the QR code. Many different areas to sit. Either a comfy chair sitting solo, a bench like table for a group, an area with a fire pit that I saw families chilling, or eat at the dining tables. The choices were endless to make your stay comfortable.

In LOVE with this lounge! Such a nice perk for Chase Sapphire Reserve card holders. Priority Pass members get 1 entry per calendar year. I came to the airport early to check out this lounge. Everything is included! They have some yummy bites at the hot bar, but you can also order made-to-order Oscar's Mexican Seafood bites, like a burger or tostada. Free coffee, canned drinks, and alcohol. You can even book a facial! I didn't get a chance to book a reservation, so I'll try it out next time! The interior is beautifully decorated with many comfy seats. It is quite tranquil and relaxing! The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Overall, I had an amazing time.

Opened since December 2024, the Chase Sapphire Lounge in T2 by gates 47-48 is one of the nicest lounges I have been in - I am sure being new helped tremendously. My Priority Pass granted me access, otherwise I am not sure of the qualifying criteria to enter. I had an hour, which is nice for a lounge like this one. It's spacious, with a wide variety of seating arrangements - from dining tables, to booths, to casual 2 tops and other layouts. Several seating areas make up the space with a large bar and self-service food station in the mix. Two coffee and cold beverage stations offer self serve coffees, teas, canned chilled drinks, and possibly some tap beer. You may order food a la carte from your seat - I tried the impossible burger and a chicken tostada. Other offerings included a burger, chicken tenders, noodle dish, and more. Some hot and cold food is also available at a self service station - salads, hummus, and grilled cheese for example. The offerings were a nice balance of healthy and more hearty options. All of the food I tried was really good , with the salads and hummus being my favorites. I would definitely check out this lounge if you have access or are considering a credit card with privileges to a Chase lounge.

Fantastic lounge. Welcome addition to the airport. Great food and drinks. Highly recommend booking a facial here while at the lounge through their portal.

This lounge rules. It's a few months old so everything is new. The lounge itself is very classy with a bunch of cool little areas to explore. Amenities like facials, rest areas, and showers. The buffet style food is soooo much higher quality than any other lounge that I have ever been to. There is also an actual menu to order. I had the burger before and it was great. Staff here has been super friendly both times that I have been here. I will always come early on flights to take advantage. The old fashioned I got here was excellent high end cocktail lounge level

I lucked out and could access this lounge with Priority Pass (once per year, additional visits for a charge). It's beautiful, spacious, and quiet. The staff are very friendly and they even had a few vegan options, clearly labeled. I wish I looked into the lounge perks a little more before going, as it looks like they have spa services too!

Absolutely amazing!!! I need to go to more chase sapphire lounges. Please make one in Hawaii!! This was probably the best lounge I've ever been to in my life. It was like a hotel, there are bathrooms and showers and even room to rest and sleep in. There are multiple rooms you can go and sit in. In the middle is a big bar with the self serve food and beverages next to it. At every table is a QR code where you can order hot food from the kitchen made to order! I got a Benedict that was delicious. Someone brings you the food and everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. The lounge even offers free facials! However, it doesn't street until 7:30am and I got there earlier... I want to travel back to San Diego just to experience this lounge is worth it! Can't wait to visit this chase lounge or another somewhere else!

Very fun lounge. Beautifully decorated. Very large. Have been here now twice. First time was seamless. Second time there was a 35 minute wait. We went to the United lounge in the meanwhile. Service overall good except for one bartender. Bartender Art is very unfriendly, does not say hello, and basically asked me "what do you want" when I wanted to order a drink. Lenny in the other hand very polite, asked if he can help me, smiled and was friendly as one should be. Just scan the barcode and forget the bar. I'm sure Art prefers that lol. I wish they had dedicated line up at entry before the elevator. It was quite chaotic the second time whee a crowd of people all gathered waiting for one of the people with a tablet to check in. Front desk after you get off elevator very friendly and everyone (except for Art) seems to enjoy this new concept! Looking forward to coming back

Can't tell you how happy I am to have this in San Diego! I'd just decided to cancel my Sapphire Reserve card (due to poor Priority Lounge options) when this lounge and its amazing staff changed my mind. Yes, they offer a complimentary facial (which is often booked so can't get in before leaving), yes, it's spacious and clean, but I really didn't expect their service to go above and beyond as they had (special shout out to Kimberly and her front desk crew), plus the food was delicious and plenty of variety available. This said, their hamburger was overcooked and dried out. Decided to forgive them since they're just starting up and everything else (and I tried many) were all perfect. Large center bar and panoramic windows are a beautiful touch. Can't wait to come back on my next trip!! Absolute great reason to arrive early from now on!!!!!

The Sapphire Lounge in SAN provided an exceptional experience. The customer service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were courteous and accommodating. Judyline and Sharleen, in particular, stood out for her friendliness and remarkable service.

New chase lounge in terminal 2, so I had to check it out for their dinner menu. I enjoy the options that they provide. It does get pretty busy so sometimes they won't allow priority pass members but would allow chase cardholders as priority. The service was pretty quick, food was yummy! I have tried both breakfast and dinner, dinner is highly recommended. Get their salmon, one of my favorite dishes there. The place is pretty clean and kept up well so far.

I haven't experienced customer service magic like this in a long time. This lounge opened last Friday and is absolutely top notch. I was greeted warmly when I walked in and immediately given a tour and helped to find a spot. Went to grab food and was so impressed by egg white bites, shakshuka, smoothies, smoked salmon bites, and fresh hot pastries. I've never had such good food in a US lounge before. The lounge was super sleek, large, and welcoming. Tons of places to sit for any needs, whether you are with family, working, wanting a bar experience, or wanting to be comfortable. Lots of windows and large spacious seating areas. Everyone i interacted with was warm and kind. From sincerely welcoming me to complimenting my outfit, I always felt like I was family there. I even tried to bus my own dishes and was thanked, which I felt was unnecessary and kind. I have been to dozens of airport lounges and this one stands far and above the others in all categories. I would walk from the opposite end of the airport any time just to experience the magic.

A lounge that rivals the Centurion Lounge by American Express. It would be nice to have more Sapphire Lounges, but it's always a treat to have one during your travels. The service was excellent and very nice. Some would even go a step above to make sure your stay was enjoyable. The food, enjoyable. Small bites and I think you can order different items off of the QR code, but alas, I didn't know and didn't have time.

Located at T2 between gates 46 and 47 on the 3rd floor lies a lovely space to relax and recharge. Like other Chase lounges, blue hues and gold run along with the art deco aesthetic. There's a room to keep your kids occupied, a dining room by the self-serve hot and cold food bar, a massive bar, individual pods for getting work done, reservable sleep pods and even an on-site aesthetician offering 15 minute facials! Some of the typical Chase Lounge made-to-order options such as the Sapphire Burger and Noodles. Local San Diego restaurant, Oscars, offers a shrimp and bean soup, a beef corn bread type dish, and a chicken tostada (all made to order). Unfortunately, all dishes were a miss for us. Chicken tostada was a cold chicken salad with mayo, soup was extremely bland, and the corn bread was dry, but the meat had good flavor. Must say their noodles were also a lot more watery than other Chase Lounges, but the service was great. They may just be going through some growing pains as they're super brand new. Overall ambiance is a 10, along with service but the food was def lacking. We got the Vegan sapphire burger and that was actually pretty good, but the fries were a bit soggy. Loved their prickly pear cocktail, but didn't care for the Malahat rum one. Went back to my favorite, which is the Viaggarre which is a refreshing scotch whiskey drink. Would still visit this lounge since it's better than the Aspire lounge and looking forward to their growth with the food. Also, we flew out of T1 so we did have to clear security twice during this visit. Not bad but def give yourself time to walk back to T1 if flying from there.

Located close to the previously one and only other lounge at SAN, if you are flying out on United, it will be close to your gate (It is next to gate 47). You will take the private elevator upstairs to the 3rd floor to check in (it is only one floor up as you will already be on the 2nd floor). Remember, if you have Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card, show them your card instead of priority pass. The reserve gets you in unlimited plus 2 other guests while the priority pass is one entry per caledar year. You can also pay $75 to enter without membership of the above two options or if you exceed the qualifications. They have plenty of amenities such as a business room, wellness resting pod, facial service, nursing room, and shower. You have to make an appointment and reserve a time for the wellness pod (30mins) and the facial (15mins). There is a QR code in front of the facial room so scan and make that reservation as soon as you get there. I was only able to try out the wellness pod. Ask a staff to open the door for the wellness room at your reserved time since it is locked with a keypad. The food were ok. I went right after they switched from breakfast to lunch which is between 10:30-11am. If you are ordering hot food from the kitchen using the QR code on your table, you will temporarily not be able to do so during those 30minutes. The quick grab food was nothing special. The food from the kitchen included burgers and Mexican food when I went today. There are plenty of drink options including a bar and quick grabs. All staff were amazing. At the front of the elevator, the staff kindly informed us of the difference between using your card and priority pass membership. Inside the lounge, Saba was wonderful in giving a quick rundown of the lounge and was very helpful. The lounge was designed with plenty of seatings and was clean. It didn't feel too crowded either. So happy that we finally have another lounge available at San Diego Airport.

5 star experience at the Chase Sapphire Lounge. There are tapas as well as premium items you can order through the QR code. Might I suggest the cheeseburger and fries. They were delicious. The shrimp soup was good as well. The biggest hit was the fried chicken. It was light, not greasy, and moist. They had something for everyone. Lots of veggie forward dishes mixed in with meat dishes. Service was attentive. They had a lot of staff to make sure that everyone has a positive experience. Bathrooms are clean. The coolest area, in my opinion, was the rectangular fire pit. Very posh! I agree with the other reviews that this was the best lounge that I've been in. I hope to be back again.

Honestly one of my best American lounge experiences to date. However, they didn't let my Priority Pass friend in, when it wasn't even full inside (maybe the kitchen was backed up though). 15 minute facials! The next opening tended to be in around 2 hours so I didn't have enough time before my flight but my friend got it and enjoyed the experience. The lounge was so clean and spacious, very modern. I really enjoyed the ambiance compared to other airport lounges. Most of the food was good, with some food being better than others. There is both self-serve food and QR code order. Some of the QR code menu items were "out" which someone had to come by and tell us after we ordered. - My favorite was the Oscar's Salad (self-serve). It was crunchy and refreshing. - I didn't like the fried chicken at first but it grew on me and I ended up liking it. - The Oscar's chicken tostado was okay. The chicken was light, it wasn't super flavorful. - The Sapphire drink was delicious, I had 2. 100% would come back. And I'm excited to try more Chase lounges throughout America!
