Chatpati never lets me down. After a long day at work, there's nothing better than their crunchy kachori and special mix chat to lift my mood. The pista milkshake is a little indulgence I always look forward to, and my husband's fav chai and allo tiki chaat! Tania is super sweet and always greet with her humble smile, thank you!

Google
Good place for a quick bite! Food was well seasoned, spice levels a bit mild - so if you like spicy ask for spicy 😎 I might’ve ordered a few sweet dishes on accident… definitely would order a more savory side next visit. Picks of our meals attached! The Paneer took a minute but was my favorite dish, definitely order the chili version 👍🏻👍🏻

Google
Dahi puri, Papdi chat was tasty and I liked them. But they really need to improve the quality of Chole Bature, because it was not soft, Chole had taste of chilli powder and it was not cooked well. Last note, As always definitely try Gulab Jamun.

Google
A delicious and fast mix of south and North Indian food. The service is fast and friendly. They have photos of their dishes. Family friendly with milkshakes. The veggie Thali is a large dinner. I’ve also sampled some other dishes when I feel courageous. All delicious. As much as I hate a crowd, they deserve it.

Google
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Despite being very inexpensive, they overcharge for the quality of the food. The pizza is incredibly thin, like it was made for a toddler, and has a gummy texture. They also appear to serve old food; the naan, in particular, was awful in both taste and appearance. PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR RISK YOUR HEALT BY EATING HERE. And the last thing if you look closely at other reviews, you will likely realize they are fabricated by the restaurant itself

Google
Food is authentic. Special Chat & Dilwale Chat definitely impressive with it's perfect blend of spices. Veg thali was also great with choosen varities. Exceptional service from Tanya. Thank you!

Google
Clean, local, everyday Indian snacks and small meals. Authentic taste and genuine care for serving hot and fresh Indian food. Saw many non-Indians savoring their delicious meals. Only suggestion to owners- don’t use red color for paneer dishes. Let’s start serving them the way they are. Your food is delicious enough.

Google
We ordered Chat patti chaat, dilwale chat, and masala chai. It was delicious and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend it! Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Just left and already cannot wait to go back!! A modern desi snack place that has so many delectable options and does them all perfectly. Not to mention this is a FULLY VEGETARIAN place!! From the masala cheese fries, the pizza style dosas, and the good old fashioned chole and papdi chaat, this place was an absolute delight. I loved the fun interior and the staff were extremely hardworking and polite. We shared their name-sake special chaat and it was everything you'd want in a chaat and more. Spicy, tangy, creamy, crispy, sweet, and so so many textures that mix so wonderfully together. Imagine fully loaded nachos, but make it desi!

Yelp
Been a family favorite for years, there's some remodeling on the facade so it is covered but the restaurant is still open 11 am-9.30 pm Mon-Sun. It is closed on Wednesday. Come get your Indian street food fix here, the quality of food is exceptional. Very authentic, the staff is helpful, hospitable and quick. The ambiance is casual and it is great for groups.

Raisa C.

Yelp
We had the chat patti special chaat, paneer masala dosa, and pani puri. Would highly recommend the chat patti special chaat. The dosa flavors were good, but a little too soft; dosa could be more crispy. The staff was very helpful with suggestions and friendly. Food was also served quickly so if you want, you can always order a couple of items and then order more if you feel like.

Chandrika R.

Yelp
I've been here before, but it's been a few years. This is a good quick place to get chaats. I liked the food I tried. The paan milkshake was kinda bland; all the paan flavors were at the bottom so disappointing. The menu is vast so it took me a while to decide. The didn't have the golu, which was what made me decide to come here rather than the place next door. Will work my way through the shopping center.

John S.

Yelp
Amazing owner, food, ambiance, nice service. If you are jain or don't eat onion and garlic you can come here it is great. Amazing chaat and dosa, with a variety of food.

Chloe D.

Yelp
This place is so darn good. As a vegan, it's great to find restaurant staff who are familiar with the term. While many of the main dishes are or can be made vegan (including the dosa), my favorite is the thali. They take the non-vegan items out automatically- you get 4 main curries, pakora, papad, bread, rice, and chaat. So delicious! Also, while the restaurant is usually crowded, they are very quick in taking your order and serving you.

Yelp
Since 1995, my family has been a regular at Chatpatti, a gem that was recommended to us by a friend of my father. Almost thirty years later, we still find ourselves irresistibly drawn to this haven of authentic Indian cuisine in the south. Here at Chatpatti, the consistency in quality is something you can count on. The food is always fresh, delicious, and has that perfect kick of spice. Whether you're looking to satisfy a sudden craving or wanting a reliable spot for regular dining, Chatpatti has become our go-to place, offering meals that are both comforting and bursting with flavors. A visit here is incomplete without indulging in their standout offerings. The dosa is a true delight, crispy yet soft, serving as a perfect carrier for their in-house chutneys, which are a burst of freshness and zest on the palate. Their chaats are a festival of flavors, offering a wonderful medley of textures and tastes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. And for a heartwarming, homely meal, the thali is a splendid choice, a platter that brings together the best of what Chatpatti has to offer, creating a harmonious and satisfying dining experience. In a nutshell, Chatpatti is not just a restaurant, but a delightful culinary journey that keeps us coming back, time and time again. It's a simple, no-fuss spot where you're guaranteed a meal that feels homemade and utterly satisfying, each and every time. Caters to gluten. Dairy free. Tree nut allergies. Vegan and vegetarian options.

Yelp
- Authentic tasting Indian chaat - Food portion matching its price - Food so good it makes you want to visit again and again - Not so tidy restroom area given the crowd that visits this place. But they could work more on getting the used dishes racks away from the restroom area and keep it more tidy in general. We had cutlet, Aloo tikki chaat, Punjabi vegetable with bhature and Mango Mastani milkshake. Cutlet - was a little bland a a teeny bit soggy. Could have used more flavor. But the mint chutney served as a side was excellent! Aloo tikki chaat was amazinggg! It had all the flavors hitting the right place. It was a brilliant mixture of Aloo(potatoes) for carbs and Chickpeas for protein. The portion is quite huge and is quite filling as a dinner. Punjabi vegetable with bhature was also equally good. Bhature was a little too thick in the centre but cooked well and crisp on other areas. For Punjabi vegetable, we were served Navaratan Kurma and it tasted just like a homemade dish. Mango Mastani has been a frequent drink I get and the taste of it tends to change a bit every time I visit! But for the most part, it has tasted creamy and yummy! Overall, a great place to try out Indian chaat!

J J.

Yelp
Food was tasty and portions were big. Price is very reasonable. Tried the Dahi Batata Puri for snack. Spice level was just right and all the ingredients blended very well. Packed an Aloo Paratha for dinner. Was mild as requested but still quite tasty. Size was almost like an 8 inch pizza. Was thick and filling. Will visit again.

Yelp
Bought a Oreo milkshake for 10 dollars and came with a small cup and taste like a normal milkshake. I was expecting it to be the best milkshake in world but no it's just normal milkshake that cost 10 dollars disappointed.

Tina D.

Yelp
My brother and his friends recommended this place to me. He ordered me the chat patti special chaat, galab jamun, and and paneer 65 (medium heat). The chat patti special chaat had pani puri, veggie samosa, topped with tamarind sauce, cream sauce, shredded coconuts, little fried rice or flour sticks, maraschino cherry so much flavor sweet, spicy and a lot of umami flavor hitting at once. One plate could feed 1-2 people depending on how hungry you are. Galab jamun is a dense fried donut ball soaked in sugar syrup with cardamom. Paneer 65 tasted like Chinese sweet and sour sauce. Everything was delicious.

Charmeine R.

Yelp
Been here a few times. And so far it's been really good. Got the Saag Paneer, Biryani rice and Gobi Manchurian. Very delicious. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

John L.

Yelp
Expansive menu thats easy to read. I asked the cashier for some recommendations since i have never been here and she recommended 34...it did not disappoint. A mix of sweet, savory and spicy I was very happy with what i got and i would def come back

Yelp
Good food. Good service. Good atmosphere. Service fast and clean. Cool water station.

John B.

Yelp
I picked this restaurant for a holiday stop, and first off was just happy it was open. It's in a shopping center full of South Asian businesses, and everything that was open was packed. They had a nice spread of fried appetizers, but were doling out fresh food, and mine came reasonably quickly despite the mayhem. I always wanted to try a chikoo milkshake, not because I know what a "chikoo" is, but because it sounds cool. It was a mild, melon-like taste. My chole bhatura arrived with piping hot bread, fresh onions on my chickpeas, and a side of pickled lime and chili. Even though things were busy, they had time to make sure to ask my specific dietary restrictions, and delivered quality food. Maybe 4 stars for the food, but 5 for providing good service under tough conditions.

Yelp
There's a variety of food that's cheap. And some of the dishes are from South India so there's a unique element here. Chat patti special chaat: $9.99. This was a very unique item. I originally wanted the samosa chaat, but the guy mentioned that it was similar to this. It was sort of like Indian nachos with sweet flavor notes. It had spicy flour chips (sort of like pita chips), deep fried rice, pomegranate seeds, among other special ingredients according to their menu, and an Indian donut in the middle. The most unique Indian item I have ever had! Veg thali deluxe: $10.99. This was a pretty good deal for the variety and amount of food: two roti pieces (or puri), pappad, four vegetables, papadi chaat, either daal or kadhi (in our case?), rice, and sweets. Some of the items here were a little spicy as it's more traditional. I just remember trying something like this elsewhere at a more Americanized place, and it wasn't spicy. Like with some (or dare I say most) Indian dishes, the spicy level is more due to the spices than with chili peppers. A great value for the amount and variety of food! Plain dosa (South Indian item): $6.49. As other Yelpers have mentioned and posted, this was huge. It's definitely one of the more unique items to get. Think of this as a large, thin Indian crepe made up of lentils and rice. I think the dipping sauces were sambar and something white (for the life of me I do not know and have tried scouring the photos to find out). An interesting must try! Mango lassi: $3.99. It's what you'd expect, yogurt and mango. No surprises here. There's plenty of parking as Chat Patti is in the complex with Patel Brothers, located to the right. There's also a slight discount if you pay with cash. Until next time!

Macoisinha M.

Yelp
Paneer 65 was great abs my favorite dish here. The service was pretty good. The things we ordered were quite small so we had to reorder more food. Great place for people who want to try a big variety of things. Their menu is huge! Definitely not my favorite Indian street food but pretty decent.

Rajnish C.

Yelp
took a take away, food was messed up inside bad packing food was not good at all, the staff all they care is take the money, put some food inside and let the customer get out as fast, focus is only getting the money from the customer

Pranjali P.

Yelp
The best Indian food I've had here in the US. My husband and I had the Dahi Sev Puri, Pani Puri , Samosa Chaat ( it was a little spicy for me, it was yummy) , Paneer 65 ( The paneer was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and coated with delicious sauce) , Butter Pulao (Flavorful, but a little spicy) & Mango Mastani (with fresh delicious mango chunks). Overall authentic Indian flavors and taste ! Everything was just delicious!

Lina S.

Yelp
Excellent chaat, clean and helpful service Chai was good and best was served with no sugar.Chat Patti Special Chaat excellent fresh ? Taste is well balanced. Highly addictive recommend. Forgot to take a picture Clean ambience with nice display of food

Rezwan R.

Yelp
Your spot to satisfy Indian street food cravings. Whether it is pakoras, chaat, pani puri, sandwiches or something massive like a thali or wide selection of dosas they have got you covered. Everything is vegetarian with vegan options available. Honestly, I cannot tell you what I have tried here because it is too many. I recommend everything on the menu. Prices are fair, big portions and considering everything looks awesome, you might end up ordering too much. You have been warned! Service is super fast and people are friendly. Give this place a shot. Carpe Diem with your taste buds good people.

Lisa O.

Yelp
The no-frills cafeteria style setting belies the beautiful complexity of the food. Clean, strong flavors are beautifully balanced and layered in every dish so that no single ingredient or spice overwhelms your palate. Portions are generous, service is minimal but warm.

Rose F.

Yelp
Food is terrible, prices are very high and service is non-existent. Not clean. I have given this place a try a few times and each time it has been horrible. It just will not rise to be any good. Wasted my money at this place. It is not cheap; the prices are very very high.

Sakira K.

Yelp
I went to Atlanta to run some errands with some friends and we came cross this Indian Restaurant. The restraurant was well organized and cleaned when we entered. We ordered three food items to dine in which were pani puri, butter pualo, and dosa. I did not like the food much since the seasons were lacking. The restraurant was not eco friendly because the cups, plates, and utensils are all plastic. I did not see any covid precaution in the restraurant. Overall I had ok experience at the restraurant.

Rhucha P S.

Yelp
Yummmmm! Another trip to Atlanta for home stuff and this time we hit Indian food. This place is in Decatur so if you're around visit them. Amazing delicious food. I ate dabeli after years and brought back memories of home:-) masala dosa, chole bhature perfect. Bhature came fresh from the kitchen. Loved the food and service. Now I have to walk back to Augusta as I ate too much :-)

Saf K.

Yelp
I tried a few items from this restaurant. Chat patti special chaat- it was to-go order so everything was packed individually. The chutneys were good but overall it didn't hit my taste buds. It was not the right chaat taste. This is not chaat sorry!!!! Khiladi sandwich- it was a joke, it was not flavorful at all, too spicy but not in a good way. It had a fried hard patty which had a weird flavor to it. Pav bhaji- the pav was soft and nice but the bhaji had the same taste as sandwiche masala. Again did not enjoy it. Idli- it was literally 2 small idli and she soaked in water and heated right in front of me- all stale food. Bombay sandwich- it was okay, i think i make it better at home. We didn't like our experience here whatsoever, definitely not coming back!!!!

Tanni D.

Yelp
This place is always busy and at times, it's difficult to find an empty table. However, the food is affordable and pretty delicious. I enjoyed the dahi puri, vegetarian thali deluxe, and chat patti special chaat, although they were on the heavy side.

Thomas F.

Yelp
The vegetarian food here is so good that of leaves you feeling so fantastic. Its a cafeteria style dinning so not a fancy place. If I still lived in the area Iwould order take out on a regular basis

Mangala A.

Yelp
Loved the food! Comes very close to authentic Indian street food. We tried kachori chaat, puri bhaaji, dahi wada, veg thali, chai and coffee (went on two consecutive days!). The staff was very open to substitutions, we didn't want the chana with the puri, so they made us a dry aloo sabzi. The proprietor's son was super friendly, and spent a good 5 min chatting with us. Very reasonable pricing, and the biggest draw for us was that it was a vegetarian restaurant.

Pam M.

Yelp
Amazing food! Spotless! And they were so helpful about what to order! This is our 4th visit and everything we tried has been fresh and flavorful! And it doesn't break the bank. It really is our new favorite place!

Ravi P.

Yelp
Good tasty food. Efficient staff. Orders delivered very quickly. Only drawback is not enough space for dine in customers. Need to expand given that it's always crowded. Best of luck!

Matt H.

Yelp
I really enjoyed eating here! Great food and the employees were very nice. Highly recommend!

Ashok J.

Yelp
This is one of those places the crowd speaks for itself. Great place to get Indian chaats, snacks and milkshakes. Very authentic and the taste was exceptional. We were just watching around while waiting and everything looked good. Not sure if it was because we were hungry but reminded us of some shops back home. I even got a sample of their rose milkshake and paan milkshake, both were amazing. Unfortunately I was full with the food otherwise I would have gulped a paan milkshake all by myself.

Ryan S.

Yelp
This place is pretty chaotic. When you come in, you order at the counter and then they give you a number and someone brings the food and water to the table. I'm not sure whether this is driven by Covid, but they are taking a LOT of orders to go and there is only one person servicing the tables. It feels like there is a lot going on and it can be tough to get a refill. The vegetable biryani was good, but nothing great (the youghurt was sweet, they must add some extra sugar) Chinese noodles were pretty generic - you've probably has these (or something very similar), if you've ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant. The Pistachio milkshake was more like milk with nuts in it. Masala Vada was bland. The green sauce added some spice, but otherwise it tasted like fried, plain dough. The Chat Patti Special Chaat was definitely the best dish we ordered. I love Chaats so I may be a bit biased. It was sweet with a mild spice. The lentil "doughnut" was pretty bland, but otherwise it was a good Chaat.

Rachna P.

Yelp
Food is ok for a snack but the flavor was lacking. We ordered the Frankie, vada pau, gobi manchurian, and the chat patti special chat. The Frankie didn't have any flavor, the vada pau was sour and the Goni manchurian wasn't crispy at all. The special chat was the only good thing we tried. I would go to honest next door.

Ehtisham K.

Yelp
Very expensive for the quality and portion sizes. There are no written prices for food items.

Cynthia B.

Yelp
Next to Patel brothers grocery we figured we would try this place vs. Zyka or Gokul (our usuals for this area). Of course since it was a Saturday so it was super busy. When we went in it was confusing, do we stand in line? Do we order before sitting? Do we just take a table? So we waited and eventually was told by an employee to sit. My husband ordered food and what we bought would be too little turned out to be a ton of food and it now makes sense why out bill was almost $50! The chaat dishes are big and filling. I ordered the deluxe thali and all the Curry's and subzi's were tasty they even give another small plate of chaat (this now made 3 for the table). My son had the masala dosa and loved the sambar, my daughter the Hakka noodles (bland and not much flavor not veggies, will skip it next time). As I write this I'm salivating and planning our detour to have some Togo food. Haha seriously. The only bad thing about this experience was the falooda, my husband still can't get anything good to back home in India but we still tried it. When arrived I looked in at it and saw a big hair. Ok, to be frank I CANNOT deal with hair in my food it literally makes me gag. We showed them and they looked inside like pretending to see where, um smack on top and half of it in the milk and intertwined with pista. They "remade" and other for us but I couldn't drink it since flashbacks of the previous one. Hubby didn't like, nor my kids so we tossed it before even leaving the parking lot. Overall the food is good and like mentioned I will go back for food only.

Jill M.

Yelp
What a yummy little nugget this place was! I love Indian because Indian flavors excite me especially the heat. Today wasn't about that though. Today was about lunch, socially distant lunch. Trying to watch what I eat and elimate this Covid 15 lbs, I decided on the Thali. A perfect amount of food so perfect, only ate half of it. A great way to get a feel for Indian if you're not terribly familiar. My girlfriend who treated me to lunch ordered the deluxe tally. That was $10.99. Our table server giggled at me when I ask for a box. He was so surprised I didn't finish it all. That's when I knew that I like this place! He also asked if I enjoyed the food which I did very much. I can tell the people who work here care and because of that, I will be back!!

Nitascia W.

Yelp
DO NOT CALL IN YOUR ORDER! I was really excited to try this restaurant for the first time. The customer service here is the worst. I'm trying to give my order and the person intentionally hangs up on me three times. Don't really understand why... Tried to give her my order and I even spelled out the things that I could not pronounce so that I can make it easier on the both of us but she hung up on me three times. Is this how their customer service normally is?!?! HORRIBLE! Doesn't matter how busy you are... We're all paying customers so treat us as if we are paying you... Which we are! Got my food finally and it actually wasn't even worth the trouble. The Mixed Appetizer items are fried WAY too hard and samosa was soggy. I also get veggie biryani. It was very close inedible because it was so spicy and I like spice but geez. I'll pass on this place next time. Not sure why it has such good reviews... the customer service AND the food were sub-par.

Kiran T.

Yelp
Chat Patti Indian Vegetarian Restaurant is located in Patel Plaza and I have been to this place more than couple of times and every time I go it reminds me my home town. Those quick or evening snacks are so yummy to taste that I will be going again an again. Extensive menu from different regions in India, with vegan, gluten free, Jain, and other options. Reasonably priced and tasty entrees. The menu is so diverse that it covers from a quick snack to a dinner. Must go for any one who loves Indian snack items called "Chat" like Pani Puri, Samosa Chat, Papdi Chat, Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji, Rasmalai and more mouth watering items. Chat Patti has a huge variety of great vegetarian food. It is incredibly flavorful, and just pulling into the parking lot gets me smiling because I know my taste buds are in for a serious treat. If it is a little spicy for you, try sipping on a Rose Falooda or Mango Lassi as you eat. The dessert case is impressive. The whole experience is delightful. It has bright counter serve dispensing eclectic vegetarian Indian grub, including Dosas, Samosas and Biryani. Ordered Veggie Thali which gives you regular portion of meal and makes you really full. Delicious selection of the veggies. Presentation was beautiful. I was only able to eat half and took the other half to go. Don't forget to try Chat Patti Special Chat, can't go wrong with it any day, go for it. Even its a cafeteria style sitting, service is really good, helpful and friendly. The girl at the counter knows how to receive customers with a big Smile and I loved it. I believe her name is Swetha. The staff was on top of everything, tables were cleared and cleaned immediately after the guest leave. They do have free private lot for car parking in front of the restaurant. This restaurant is by far one of my favorites in the area. Would definitely recommend. I will be back for sure to try more yummy stuff from their menu.

A H.

Yelp
I love this place! Their food is delicious. They always have a wide selection to choose from. Their food is healthy. They're always generous with portions. They're always quick with service. They're affordable. I highly recommend.

Suhana E.

Yelp
This place is always busy. I tried their chatpatti special, dahi puri, and dosa. I wasn't crazy about the dosa. But the chatpatti special and dahi puri were good. I've had better (more fresh and crispy) elsewhere though (like Chai Pani, global mall food court). Still good and will return :)

Adam A.

Yelp
The food here is really authentic. If you don't like spicy food do NOT eat here! But since I'm Indian, I love the heat. Best dosa I've had in atl. They use to have too much onions in it, but they have since fixed this issue. For a person that wants to eat veg and doesn't eat soy or gluten, this is a great place to try. You can order many of the dishes vegan if you tell them no dairy.

Keith H.

Yelp
Not gonna lie, maybe halfway through my meal, a subtle feeling of anger and isolation began to take over me. For this first time in a while, I felt like I was the last horse to cross the finish line and everything up to this point has been a lie . Who would've ever known Indian food could be THIS GOOD and create such complex creative culinary cuisines (how's that an alliteration lol). On top of that, the food was completely vegetarian! No beef! No chicken! No lamb! No fish! Only veggies! . Seriously, where has this food been all my life. When I think about vegetable based dishes, I think about steamed broccoli and boring buffalo cauliflower wings booo. This is truly vegetables done right!! And it honestly wasn't even that expensive. The presentation was flawless and all the aromas took me to a magical Indian paradise . Definitely a 10 out of 10! I would love to go again! Be sure to order the Vegi Thali Deluxe!!

D G.

Yelp
Hadn't been to this area in years but was doing some shopping with my family. We decided to pop in for lunch. Pros- plenty of variety - large portion sizes - made fresh upon ordering - excellent spicing, flavorful - authentic Cons- tables packed into small areas - not a place to watch your calories Prices- good amount of food for the price you pay We ordered the Chinese bhel, bhel puri, samosa chaat, dhosa pizza, mango milkshake. Chinese bhel was crunchy, which made all of the difference. Chutneys on samosa chaat were excellent. One of the more common flavorful experiences I've had in some time, and I'm picky about Indian food. Great place to go with friends and share dishes tapas style.

Sharee D.

Yelp
The customer service is excellent. I love the ambiance that's created with the hue lights all around. And the samosas! They samosa are amazing, it comes with this sauce that initially tastes I guess a bit spicy but I was pleasantly surprised when a sweet flavor emerged after mixing it. I will definitely return to try other items

Anurag J.

Yelp
Very bad customer service they ask cash when paying and charge 8% tax on the bill. Better spend your money in good place.

Doug L.

Yelp
This is in a largely Indian shopping center. New to the shopping center, we tried Chat Patti. We loved it! This is now our go-to restaurant. Lovely food, friendly staff, homey atmosphere. We prefer some items to others (we're not highly experienced with this sort of Indian food) but everything is freshly made. And the staff is friendly and down-to-earth. Just thinking about Chat Patti to write this, I am salivating!

Yelp
This is the spiciest, most complex Indian food I've ever had. Until I came here, I thought I didn't like Indian food because it was all the same across Indian places, and I got sick of those dishes. The flavors here are unlike any Indian food I've ever experienced. There's parking out front, and the servers were very kind in helping me figure out which options were vegan. Be warned -- this is spicy food.
