I don't get up this way often, but Im glad I found this gem! Beautiful interior friendly staff and the food did not disappoint. I tried the spring rolls (of course) and had Panang Curry Salmon. So delicious I almost melted and I asked for the level 3 heat. Level 4 next time. The Mai Tai knocked it out of the park. Can't wait to get back. The prices were very reasonable too.

Nara the bartender was sooo nice! And amazing artist, he painted the mural on the wall by the bar. I got to try the jazzy mojito. The Jasmine Mojito was everything. Light, floral, and dangerously refreshing, it had this soft jasmine aroma that hit before the first sip and lingered just enough to make the moment feel indulgent. Crisp mint, gentle sweetness, and a clean finish made it effortless to drink, but the real magic was how it made me feel. Feminine, sexy, and completely in my element. This isn’t just a cocktail, it’s a mood. One sip and you’re glowing, smelling good, and feeling even better. I got the crabmeat fried rice, had a good amount of crabmeat which put the finishing touch on my experience 10/10 recommend! I even got a live paint show 😊

I was visiting a friend in Baltimore and came across this fantastic restaurant. My friend and I shared Crab Rangoons, Massamun - Southern Thai Curry, Kra Prow Moo Grob - Crispy Pork Belly with A Spicy Basil Sauce, and fried bananas with ice cream. The restaurant was decorated for the holiday season and we even got to meet Chat and his wife.

Absolutely loved my experience here!! The staff is very kind and helpful and to top it off the food is delicious and authentic. Clean and comfortable atmosphere beautifully decorated. I ordered the drunken noodles it was made very quickly and tasted amazing!

I went to Chat Thai to celebrate my birthday with my husband. The food and service was amazing! I got the wonton soup, the basil fried rice with seafood and the strawberry margarita. The staff were SUPER friendly and helpful with the menu.

Quite honestly the best Thai food I’ve had before. There is so much flavor and everything is so fresh and done perfectly. I love the amount of heat and spice too but that’s just me and there are plenty of mild options and they are very accommodating. The staff are so friendly and welcoming as well. I love coming here! Such a gem to have here at Quarry Lake!

I am excited for a new Thai place in the neighborhood. We ordered the Penang curry and the shrimp and pineapple red curry. And ended with the mango and sticky rice. Food quality was excellent. Lots of depth to the flavor. Portion size was decent but a bit small considering the price. Attentive staff and nice atmosphere.

Chat Thai has no business being THIS good. I came here hungry and left emotionally attached. The food is so flavorful it feels like it was cooked by someone’s Thai auntie who would be offended if you didn’t get seconds. Every dish hits—perfect spice, bold flavors, and portions that make you feel like you got your money’s worth and your life together. The menu is dangerous because you’ll want to order everything. “I’ll just get one thing” turned into “let’s add one more” real quick. The spice level? Respectfully humbling. The kind where you’re sweating a little but still smiling because it’s worth it. The vibe is casual, fun, and welcoming—great for friends, dates, or solo meals where you’re silently judging other restaurants for not being this good. Great Thai Food -- Will Definitely Return! Nice restaurant with a lively Friday-night atmosphere. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and my food was ready on time with all my requests followed. I will definitely be back to try the cocktails and more menu items. I loved the crispy flounder with Thai basil sauce and vegetables, as well as the Pad See Ew and mango sticky rice.

This is one of the best Thai food spots I've encountered. My homegirl told me there's a new Thai place in quarry lake so there I went. I'll never pass up some drunken noodles! So I place an online order. Drunken noodles (I requested for them to be extra spicy), spring rolls and steamed broccoli. Everything is A1! And I love the fact I placed the order, was about 20 minutes late picking up the order, 10 minute drive home and everything was still piping hot. Oh yeah and online ordering there was a 20% off discount. One day I will dine in. The restaurant looks cleanly and spacious. Hosting staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. Can't wait to come back.

1st time here. Lots of things went well, nothing went wrong, but a few slight misses made this not perfect. Went for lunch on Sat afternoon, not busy at all, service was a little slow/unattentive at the end of the meal. The entrees were all great. Will be back to try a few different things, one of the shrimp entrees could have used more shrimp. The drunken noodles were great as was the Kra Prow Kai Dow. My knock was that the egg was very overcooked. The beef salad was also slightly light on the dressing and heat. Gotta say, this is easily the best Thai in the area. Nothing else is as good within 40 minutes of here.

Still great! Peanut salad dressing smells wonderful and tastes great. Service is fast and friendly. Lunch specials are limited but if your after pad Thai or curry-your in luck.

I have been looking for new go to Thai since my old reliable has gone downhill in last couple of years in quality. Saw Chat Thai and location is only 10 min away from me. We ordered carry out online and it was ready on time for pickup. The good? We had Pad Thai w chicken and it was excellent and the Thai style crispy pork belly special that was very good and not greasy at all. The bad? Red curry dish was too creamy & sweet and had little other than chicken in it. We tossed it after a little bit. We also ordered wings and spring rolls but have not had them yet. The portions seemed small for the cost of dishes in my opinion so the value was not there in anything we ordered. Our carry out meal for 2 w some expected leftovers was well over $80. This is almost expected in the "high rent" area of their location but I do not see value here. End result is I am still looking for my new go to Thai restaurant and carry out.

Came in today and wasn't able to stay for lunch due to a conflict, but i'm really looking forward to coming back soon. Super clean and cute on the inside and the staff were very sweet. Hope to be back soon! Lunch menu looks awesome.

Wife found this new Thai restaurant at Quarry Lake. On a Friday night, we did not need a reservation. There was plenty of available seating. The restaurant vibe is warm and cozy. Ideal spot for both casual dining or special occasions. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. We ordered the fish cakes and Nam Tok (beef) Salad for appetizers. The tangy dipping sauce for the fish cakes was amazing. The Nam Tok salad had nice flavor, but I'm used to thinner sliced beef. The main course consisted of Panang curry, drunken noodles, and Kra Prow Moo Groob (crispy pork belly w/chilli basil sauce). The curry had a rich, creamy broth with fresh vegetables and tender chicken. The crispy pork was beautifully cooked, with a perfect crunch and rich flavor. Drunken noodles had a nice smoky wok flavor and not oily. Overall, an excellent Thai dining experience. We will definitely return.

The charge on my credit card was $27.23, including tax. I added a tip of $5.00 for a total of $32.23. When my credit card charges came, the charge submitted was $33.23, someone at the restaurant added $1.00. I called the restaurant and actually spoke to the person who served as identified on the bill and the table no. She said she'll tell the manager and the manager would call me back, but nobody called back. It was only one dollar, but I just want to warn customers who may not notice a "small addition" on their credit card bill just as I almost did. This may be something that' has been going on in this restaurant.

Had a great weekday lunch at Chat Thai - very pretty decor & it smelled like flowers when you walked in. Good music playing too! The lunch portion was plentiful, delicious and a good price. I had a bit leftover. The lunch special comes with a salad with peanut dressing (sweet and savory). I also got wonton soup, which was tasty but 4 wontons & broth shouldn't cost $9 IMO but the broth was tasty. I will be back soon! The waitress was nice too, she checked back often.

Fantastic service and friendly atmosphere. Beautiful seating inside and out. The food is tasty and the price is a reasonable. We had garlic chicken, which probably could have used more vegetables but had plenty of chicken in it. We also had Pad Sew Ew with Pork. Both were excellent.

Came for a girls night recently and we had the best time with delicious food and drinks!!! Thai coffee martini was amazing. Spicy and medium pad Thai, tofu and spring rolls. All delicious! Can't wait to come back!

Solid Thai in the neighborhood! We waited years for good Thai food. Have gotten carry out twice since their recent opening. Menu is a little confusing but basically you can pair any sauce or curry with any protein. This is more obvious when ordering online than off of menu. Panang is delicious but packs some heat unless you ask for mild (we like it hot). Pad Thai is just right. We enjoyed the ginger shrimp and lemongrass chicken too on our second visit. Will be back!

Glad to have another Thai restaurant in Baltimore especially of the caliber of Chat Thai. Delicious! Service is great too. Helpful and friendly wait staff.

Great Thai food Great service So glad they opened here and their hours are great. So many things I wanna try.

Service, ambience, cleanliness. All done well. Food was good. The summer rolls were super fresh. Older kids loved their meals and finished everything.

Tried Chat Thai for lunch with a friend yesterday for the first time. Honestly, after moving from Philly 25 years ago, I have not had great Thai in Baltimore until NOW. The spring rolls and drunken noodles were perfection and my friend loved her pad Thai. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. A gem at the Quarry!

Very solid! I love Thai, and this place is much easier to get in and out of than my go-to spot in Hampden. The veggie tempura was outstanding, and everything else I tried was quite tasty, except for the sticky rice with mango, which was rock hard in the middle. A minor blip at the end of an otherwise enjoyable meal. I will be back.

Ordered the chicken pad Thai for carry - out... It was very good, lots of flavor. Quick & friendly service. The restaurant was quiet. Lots of parking, and great location.

The food is delicious! They have the best Pad Thai I have ever had! This is my third time at Chat Thai with my mother! If I lived closer I would be there more often. The service is excellent too! I highly recommend Chat Thai as a wonderful restaurant!

New restaurant in the Quarry. Had 2 delicious entrees, including flavorful Masuman curry dish. Veggie gyoza appetizer had delicate wrap and tasty sauce. Coconut milk rice pudding was served warm and was an appropriately small rich, creamy dessert to wrap up a great dinner. Will be back.

Could be a 4.5 if Yelp allowed half points. We got 2 appetizers and 3 main dishes. The Pad See ew was probably one of the best I tasted, and we eat ALOT of Thai food. Drunken noodles were H.O.T, but delicious. Also had a rice which had a good deal of flavor. We had dinner, but note they have a prefix lunch special $14.99-$15.99. It includes a salad with peanut sauce dressing, and 1 entree. We will be back

Got shrimp pad thai to go. Only 4 little shrimp and no utensils or chopsticks in the bag. If you're going to charge a bunch more for shrimp at least put some in there. Definitely disappointing

I have eaten here twice and both times the service was excellent, the food was great, and the atmosphere clean. Highly recommend if you love Thai food!
