Château de Germigney, R&C 5 étoiles - Hôtel, Restaurant & Spa - Jura

We had an amazing stay. Our room was overlooking the pool and wonderfully spacious. The setting it lovely and all you have to do is enjoy. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are beautiful. The dinner in the main restaurant was good but not really amazing. If there would be something to complain then that would be it but that would be knitpicking as the food is fresh and tasty but nothing really special. The night in the adjacent bistro was very nice and great value for money in our opinion. This is a little gem which we can highly recommend!

Our family spent two nights at the Château de Germigney hotel (R&C 5 Étoiles - Hôtel, Restaurant & Spa - Jura) and one evening enjoying fine dining at the Restaurant Maison Rosella. We were very happy with our suite, which had a big balcony and plenty of space, but I think it's unfair that the hotel charged us more for our Sunday stay, even though there were only two other guests that day. It feels like a scam perpetrated by foreign tourists. We don't mind spending money on our holiday, but we might if we feel we have been treated unfairly. For this price, the hotel offered us free spa access, but we still had to pay extra for breakfast. For a two-night stay, 1200 euros is too much for the Jura region, especially since the hotel doesn't have a fitness room or even a Pilates room. The total star I will give for Hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐ : No Fitness or Workout room : No quiet Space for read ( in door) : Room is next to the main roads

A beautiful property, where elegance and sobriety shine through in every detail. The dining room in the main building is the perfect blend of contemporary design and respect for a centuries-old building.||We were greeted with an excellent welcome by a wonderful staff member, probably Italian, who looked after us exquisitely.

We stumbled upon relais Germigney by chance - and I'm glad we did. We loved the large family loft, we indulged ourselves in the excellent spa, and enjoyed the food served at breakfast. For dinner, we enjoyed much more the low key bistro, than the fine dining restaurant.

The hotelrestarant has a well deserved Michelin star. Diner was great. Disappointing was that at breakfast buffet the sun was shining in full force on the bread table (closing a curtain would have prevented that). The bread an pancakes were also invaded by flies (covers, like iver other food parts, would have prevented that). It us also recommendable to clise curtains in room wirh full sun on them.

We stumbled upon this gem by chance, and what an awesome experience it turned out to be. Our (family) room was spacious and charming, the staff was super friendly, and the breakfast buffet - delicious. We'd come back atva heartbeat.

Booked a four night stay after finding this property via Relais and Chateaux. Beautiful hotel and grounds, but unfortunately the hotel felt understaffed and featured some annoying quirks not consistent with five star hotels. When we checked in we were shown abruptly to a room with no offers of assistance with our bags, no explanation of the hotel/amenities/etc, and were given a room we did not book but told it was an "upgrade." Further, we were then charged per person to use the pool, which felt, for a five star luxury hotel, incredibly distasteful. While our room/the linen/etc was great, there was difficulty cooling down the room as there were only a set of unscreened double doors opening to a public area, so we attempted to use the air conditioning, which was ineffectual due to the system being locked. When I spoke to the front desk about changing the settings to cool our room down, they told us it was impossible. Finally, the room service menu for all day dining was incredibly limited (meat, cheese, two pastas, and some desserts). Overall the hotel is lovely, the neighboring bistro in town absolutely superb, but there are better five star options in the Jura area.

We sat for 30 minutes in the restaurant watching the waiters serve everyone else and eventually when I complained we were served water. It took over 1 hour for the food to arrive. The waiters looked at us but just ignored us. Very poor service. Poor shower in the bathroom.
