Le Art

"In the kitchen of this magnificent 18C bastide, chef Matthieu Dupuis-Baumal serves boldly inventive dishes, in which Provençal notes meet subtle Japanese influences. The flavours are clear and always controlled, and each recipe brandishes a confident culinary personality. The setting is magical, complete with a magnificent terrace, and makes for a sumptuous backdrop for this firework display of flavours. The wonderful wine list includes a selection from the château." - Michelin Inspector

Château de la Gaude (Aix-en-Provence, French Riviera / Provence) 5 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"It’s not every day a new luxury boutique hotel opens in Provence, especially not one set on a winemaking estate surrounded by acres of organic vineyards and finely manicured gardens. Château de la Gaude’s estate isn’t new, and neither is the stunning farmhouse that anchors the property, on a hillside just outside of Aix-en-Provence. What is new, however, are the Château’s seventeen rooms and suites, spread across the various buildings of the charming, village-like estate." - Tablet Hotels

I wanted to give a special gift to some friends and decided on a voucher that included a stay and a tasting menu at Château de la Gaude. At first, I wasn’t quite sure how to go about the purchase, but Mr. Manon’s assistance was absolutely excellent. He guided me through the whole process with great kindness and professionalism, answering all my questions quickly and clearly. This level of service truly makes a difference and turns a good experience into an exceptional one. I highly recommend Château de la Gaude—not only for its setting and culinary offer, but also for the outstanding quality of its staff. Many thanks again!

This was our second time staying at Château de la Gaude and it is a beautiful place. Both times we stayed in the unique “unusual rooms”, which feel like luxury glamping. The grounds are stunning and the entire property has a refined, contemporary feel. We ate at Le K and it was well worth the visit. While the decor might be cooler and trendier than we are, the food and service were outstanding. Overall, love the place and we will be back.

Château de la Gaude is undeniably a beautiful property — the grounds and gardens are stunning, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and elegant. We especially enjoyed dining at Le K, which was a highlight of the stay. Fanny, our hostess, was incredibly warm and attentive, taking time to walk us through the restaurants and introduce the facilities. We also appreciated the vineyard tour and seeing the grape harvest in action. That said, while the property is impressive, the room comfort could be improved. And unfortunately, our experience at checkout left something to be desired — we had hoped to enjoy a bottle of wine we were gifted by the estate indoors, but were only allowed to sit outside in the extreme heat (over 40°C), despite multiple polite requests. For a five-star hotel, that level of inflexibility was disappointing and didn’t quite match the otherwise gracious setting. Overall a memorable stay, but service consistency could be refined.

An out-of-this-world estate — pure magic. Picture-perfect vineyard views, sculpted gardens, and an atmosphere that oozes understated elegance. The wines are Balanced, expressive, and a true reflection of Provence. A must-visit if you want the full Aix experience without the touristy noise.

Château de la Gaude – Pure Provençal Luxury An unforgettable stay in the heart of Provence. From the warm welcome with champagne and flowers to the elegant suite with breathtaking garden views – everything was impeccable. The breakfast was a gourmet experience, and afternoons by the serene pool were pure bliss. Impeccable service, refined interiors, and a setting that feels like a dream. Château de la Gaude is more than a hotel – it’s a sanctuary of beauty, elegance, and serenity. We can’t wait to return.

My wife and I were here for a wine tasting. Unbelievable, Elliot was incredible. Very friendly and spoke English. He was super fun and easy going, however he knows a great deal about wine. He walked us through 5 wines, all of which were great to taste. He then toured us to the wine cellar and showed us the unique 40,000 bottle collection. Very high quality wine and Elliot was the best host, we will be back for sure!

I cane to have lunch at Le Art and visit Château de la Gaude , it was fantastic experience ♥️ Bid complementary to Chief Matthieu Dupuis Baumal i stayed very satisfied 🫶🏻 plus to have lunch around this beautiful garden and hade sunny weather it was lovely. Then i made nice long walk around the Château and enjoyed blooming of white roses, and beautiful park, i didn’t like the art sculptures at all for me it was so aggressive and dark, cannot understand why???? I visited the wine cellar and bought a couple of bottles of good wine. Highly recommended to spend a day there or better a two ♥️
