"Nestling between vineyards, orchards and the sea, this early-20C hotel-restaurant is tucked away in a lush garden dotted with hundred-year-old palm and magnolia trees. Like the Mediterranean vegetable garden that inspires Burgundy-born Alexandre Fabris's three Provençal-style set menus (one vegetarian), it is a real draw in itself. In his cuisine, the chef deftly juxtaposes textures and marries flavours. The restaurant is open from mid-June to mid-September for dinner only, when guests take their seats in the garden or beneath the pergola on the terrace." - Michelin Inspector

"Around the far side of the Saint-Tropez peninsula is the sleepier seaside resort of La Croix-Valmer, a place where the spotlight shines a little less brightly than in some of the Côte d’Azur’s more famous towns. Here, in the verdant hills just outside the village, you’ll find Château de Valmer, a hotel that combines low-key Provençal charm with a touch of contemporary luxury and an almost impossibly perfect location: set within its own vineyards and gardens, but within walking distance of both the town and the beach (including its sister hotel, La Pinède Plage)." - Tablet Hotels

We just had a truly delightful five-night stay at Château de Valmer and are already planning our return. Our room was spectacular, with a breathtaking view of the ocean in the distance. The grounds were enchanting—surrounded by vineyards, gardens, with a charming courtyard anchored by an old olive tree that glowed beautifully when illuminated at night. Every detail of the estate felt rustic but elegant, and serene. The staff could not have been more welcoming. Emilie, Santin, and Valentine, were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay memorable. Our breakfasts, which we experienced daily on the outside terraces, were wonderful. Château de Valmer is the perfect combination of natural beauty, timeless charm, and gracious hospitality. A true gem that we cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a fantastic 5-days stay at Chateau de Valmer as a couple towards the end of September. Everything was perfect, starting from the warm welcome on our arrival. It is a superb property, ideally situated a stone's throw from the beach, we enjoyed walking every day the long alley surrounded by palm trees that gave us such a tranquil feeling. We had dinner 3 time at La Bastide, and every time it was a delight; delicious dishes and great wines in a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Relaxing around the outdoor pool and in the Spa area was bliss! We thoroughly relaxed and recharged out batteries. Finally, warm thanks to all staff, with special mention to Hamed, who helped us from day 1 with luggage, tips for things to do and places to go in the region and genuinely lovely chats, and to Maxime from the bar, who expertly prepared delicious cocktails and kept us entertained. We hope to be able to return next year. Thanks again.

This was our second time here. This is a truly superb hotel. The personnel is super attentive and the athmosphere is sophisticated, but still relaxed. This kind of service is rare these days. The rooms are nice, all the facilities in good shape and the spa is a heaven. Not for party people, but for those who look for class and style. Thank you, we will be back.

The hotel policies seem to be not guest friendly. The room was loud and not worth the price we had to pay. Upon arrival we would have had to stay in a mouldy room which we denied. No refunds at all so far. Poached Eggs for breakfast with avocado toast cost 17 Euros extra. Ridiculous.

The hotel was recommended to us by friends, and we were really looking forward to it. My husband and I travel a lot around the world and always stay in very nice, unique hotels. Upon our arrival, we were very disappointed with the hotel; everything seemed devoid of character and leadership. Furthermore, we found the suite, which had a beautiful view, to be very worn and not up-to-date in terms of furnishings...it lacked attention to detail. Even the pictures and the mirror behind the television were hanging crooked. Furthermore, the carpet in the stairwell, on the steps, and in our room was very worn. We had the feeling that nothing had been done to this expensive hotel in decades, and that there was no hotel manager who truly cared about its guests. The staff was visibly overwhelmed and insecure. While I was working on my computer in the lounge area, they were vacuuming around me. During breakfast, no one came to ask if we wanted anything else or to clear away the used dishes. We would definitely never come again and are very surprised that this is supposed to be a Relais Chateaux Hotel.

The hotel grounds, staff, services and location all made for an outstanding visit. So peaceful and tranquil. We're looking forward to returning next year.

Unbelievable experience. The staff is so nice and helpful, the restaurants are so so good, the grounds and location are so beautiful, the kid friendliness was perfect for our family, the gym/spa so perfect. Honestly the price/value is insane, especially in the area. Will definitely come back.

Such a wonderful experience. The location, ambience, and food were all incredible. My waiter was so helpful. The food was not only tasty but also works of art. I look forward to returning when visiting France. The chef is magnificent and can’t wait to try new masterpieces
