"This peaceful château, restored to the highest standards, embodies the delights of the Drôme Provençale. Depending on the season, sit on the terrace overlooking the grounds and the hills or in the cosy dining room with its vaulted pebble ceiling and a fire crackling in the hearth, to enjoy tasty cuisine inspired by the region's terroir." - Michelin Inspector

We have been traveling extensively in France for over 40 years. The hotel's setting and the main building are enchanting and the staff engaging and delightful. Sitting outside and savoring the sceneryis good for the soul. The starred retaurant's accolades are well earned. The "Grill" repertoire is rather basic. We were expecting a higher grade bistro menu considering the talent of your chef.||||Our room is the "annex" was quiet and attrative. But there were definitely problems that were discouraging. In the bathroom, the rainwater shower produced nothing but very hot water one day, and nothing but cold water the second day, even though hot water was available at the sink. The sink was of a good size, but there was no suitable place for personal toiletry kits. Placing them temporarily on the toilet seat is awkward. There is a fairly bright light near the shower and a very low wattage light way above the sink. That is a very dim idea, making shaving, putting on makeup, etc a twilight zone experience. Frankly, the furniture in the room had a faux.movie set attractiveness, but seems of motel grade. There is s nominsl desk, and no chair for it. I had to pull out a plug under the desk to charge electronics with no other outlets in the bedroom. The large bed was too soft and not very comfortable.||||We appreciated having English language news channels on the television and fairly reliable wifi.||||We didn't use the pool or spa, but they are definitely valuable assets. ||||Would we stay here again? Perhaps. The fact that there is only one menu in the restaurant and no a la carte options is a negative. It is difficult to enjoy your extensive wine list when they only option is a 6 or 8 stage tasting menu. The Grill.Bistro definitely needs an upgrade in menu.

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon journey and it was our favorite part of the entire journey, including London, Paris, and Nice. The Chateau itself is very nice and surrounded by breathtaking views all around. The staff were wonderful and pleasant. The breakfast was great and their restaurant is an absolute experience for dinner.

Staying here for three nights was the highlight of our honeymoon, and we highly recommend that anyone considering staying here do so. The staff is incredible. They go above and beyond in making sure that you have an amazing experience. As an example, they brought a table to the adjoining lavender field for us and served snacks and champagne that we had ordered so that we could have a picnic. It ended up being the most memorable part of our trip. ||There are gorgeous views from the pool and comfortable places to sit throughout the property. The rooms are simple, but very nice and well kept. ||We ate at both restaurants on site, Lavandin and the grill. Both are excellent. But dinner at Lavandin is a special experience. It was on par with the three-star Michelin restaurant that we had eaten at earlier in our trip. The service and food were both wonderful. ||We loved our experience and are already planning a trip back.

You can"t help being enchanted with the setting and the ancient main building. 'The "annex" is a bit more faux, and not everything in our room was world class. The furniture economy grade. The lighting in rhe bathroom "twilight". A utility desk didn't have a chair. Electric outlets underneath and useable only when you unplug a coffee maker or kettle. The sraff is friendly and hard working. Still, a worthy destination eith a fine restaurant.

Really nice getaway. I loved the estate’s beautiful grounds and the friendly staff. The breakfast I will remember for the rest of my life. The warm baguette with honey and homemade butter - it sent me to heaven. The massage and spa were also fantastic. They were kind enough to accommodate me with last minute request. Not many places fall into the category of “I’d like to take my parents here” - this place does.

I wish I had booked more than one night here. Staff are exceptionally welcoming and spoke fantastic English. Grounds are beautiful and expansive. Rooms are sufficiently good - showing a little sign of age but overall very comfortable and clean. But the BREAKFAST. And specifically the warm baguette at breakfast - I was in heaven!||||One thing to note - if you want to experience the full beauty of the lavender fields, look up when the season is in southern France.

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely establishment on a very last minute reservation. Madame Clementine greeted us with charm and professionality. The on-site restaurant was fully booked but she arranged for us to eat at a local restaurant. ||The room was beautiful, the pool was very pleasant, the breakfast was very good and all the staff were very professional. ||The grounds are beautiful and one can really relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Highly recommend.

Extraordinary Hotel. A hidden treasure. Beautiful atmosphere, very competent & friendly staff, all speaking English. Unbelievable good dinner. I was only here for two days as I was passing by, but will return for sure.
