We were lucky enough to be the only ones at the Chateau the night we stayed, which truly made us feel like royalty. The renovation of the chateau and the grounds is stunning, and the service is top notch. It was a very unique and memorable experience.

Chateau has been loving restored and is simply spectacular. The staff is friendly and provides wonderful concierge services (make sure to book restaurant through them if you don’t speak French). The owner is there most days, and she is very willing to share her passion for the chateau and the area!

Fantastic. Bedroom is stunningly decorated. Staff are really nice and very helpful. Love the period outfits. Feels like you're living a piece of history - one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at and a real experience. Location is good for driving to see chateaus. Breakfast is great (my wife especially like the hot food - potatoes and beans). Edit: Other great things include: - the electric bike rental and provided picnic - the shower (almost large enough to call it a whole room, great water, and really nice soaps/shampoos) - the modern tech (e.g. tv) are hidden to not spoil the room

This is an absolutely incredible hotel, with the best service I've ever seen. The historic chateau underwent a stunning reservation with meticulous attention to every detail. Our room (the Diane de Poitiers room) was unique, comfortable, and immersive of the time period. The hotel's greatest asset is its staff -- everyone super kind, generous, and paying attention to every detail. The front-desk staff really went above and beyond for us, as did the dining director. We were visiting on a bank holiday, and there were pretty much no taxis available. The concierge went to great lengths to find us one and to arrange for him to drive us to Amboise and then pick us up at the end of the day. He also got us a reservation at a restaurant that had no availability that day. He knew we really wanted to go and asked the restaurant if they could make it happen for us. The restaurant is very good (for both dinner and breakfast). On some nights we wanted some lighter fare than was on the menu, so Leon, the incredible beverage director, arranged for some custom light meals for us, which we could eat in the bar area. It's clear that the staff loves this place and takes great pride in their work.

Absolutely amazing trip. From the staff to the rooms, everything was outstanding. The staff was so friendly (and all spoke English which was a huge plus) and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The spa was heaven after a long 8 hour flight. There is a huge jacuzzi, sensory shower (rain shower that has set music, temp and scents that go with each theme) and a steam room. You get private access to all of these for an hour, totally recommend after a travel day. The massage was the best I have ever had and I have traveled all over the world visiting spas. The hotel itself is just stunning and we never wanted to leave. There was not a detailed spared when they renovated the hotel. ||We rented a car and drove from CDG and spent 4 days visiting the most beautiful chateaus and wineries. The chateau was always so lovely to arrive back to and we ate dinner there every night. Highly suggest a drink of their patio overlooking the beautiful gardens. Breakfast room service is also a must!

We stayed six nights at this hotel and absolutely loved it! It was such a wonderful base for exploring the Loire Valley, close to so many castles and sights, yet feels secluded and is such a refuge when you come back at the end of a sigh-seeing day. We loved the pool, got massages and facials at the spa, enjoyed meals in the beautiful dining room as well as in the garden just outside our room, and loved just walking around the property and soaking in the tranquility of it all. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. ||One of my favorite activities we did there was to rent e-bikes from the hotel and spent the day exploring castles through vineyards, and enjoying a delicious picnic made by the hotel as well. A memory I will cherish forever!||We did have an issue with the shower our first night, but the staff took care of it immediately and we did not have any further issues with it. ||One suggestion for the hotel...I realize it is the countryside so to expect some insects, but we did have several daddy longlegs and other small insects in our room. It would have been nice to have a daily sweeping of the room (tall corners that we could not reach ourselves) in order to make it truly feel 5-star. But don't let this deter you, the property, and the rooms, is immaculate, and I would return in a heartbeat. I'm sure that if I had asked or complained, they would have attended to it immediately.

We had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect. I have traveled around the world but this experience is on the top of my list. A beautiful suite, very friendly and helpful staff and great food and wine selection. We stayed 8 days and the scenery is breathtaking so we could relax and enjoy everything to the fullest. A sincere thank you to the staff who made it very special
