Hello Chatime Overland Park! This place looks very nice and it’s worth visting for one time is what my opinion, if you are a real fan of bubble tea, then you can visit this obviously because they’re doing a very good job. This place is newly opened by Zenzi’s. I think so their theme is looking good, they have got a nice vibe inside with some plants and various coloring in terms of design so you can have a look at them in the photos. Experience with the people is also good :) Items I tried — Mango Machito. Feedback for this Place. — I am sure that you can increase the quantity. — You still have a room to make it like a productivity place. — Bubbles are not that tasty like a Poppers. — Don’t try to fill the complete cup because it is so tough and bubble tea dripping down whenever we insert straw. Wow!! Amazing, above and beyond, delicious, unique and all around incredible. We used Chatime Overland Park to cater our daughter’s 16th Birthday and we are blown away by how amazing it was. Lauren, the owner put so many special touches into making this the absolute best experience for us. They brought out their cool tea cart and served specialty drinks from their menu. She even created a cute and personalized menu for the event that was an added touch that meant so much. Every step of the process was so easy and such a fun and easy and most of all delicious experience. I cannot recommend them enough. This would be perfect for birthdays, wedding showers, pool parties, weddings, you name it!! They are amazing.

We absolutely love this tea shop. Great selection and super friendly staff. The drinks are consistently fresh and flavorful plus they have options for selecting the sweetness levels. Its our go to boba tea shop for the whole family and undoubtedly, the best in Kansas City.

Edit: I would like to thank Sonny and Lauren for making this situation right. After posting my original review, they reached out to ensure that the situation was squared away, so we can start anew. Not only did they handle the circumstances with professionalism, they also made sure we received our original drink order, free of charge, after refunding the incorrect drink. I am happy they gave us a chance to tell our side of the sorry and use the situation as a learning moment for the crew. My husband and I are now planning to return, continuing to support the small business we’ve loved for years. Original: This place has significantly gone down hill since the last time I visited. Stopped by today and was not once recognized by either of the girls behind the counter. After standing at the counter for several minutes waiting for my order to be taken, I gave up and used the kiosk. Another 15 minute wait after ordering and they called out my order name, but the drink was not at all what was ordered. When my husband asked for a refund on the incorrect drink, one of the girls got nasty with us saying that they were in the middle of a rush and the incorrect drink wasn’t her problem because that’s what was on the screen. Super disappointed in how we were treated. We used to love this place but will no longer be returning.

Chatime is hands down my new favorite place for sweet drinks and ice cream! When I went there today I met the new owner, who was so friendly and provided excellent service. Since I stayed there a while with a friend I bought a variety of their menu options including drinks, the new waffles, and I was even given ice cream samples! I can confidently say that chatime OP has amazing food and drinks and fantastic customer service. I will be coming here alllll the time now! I highly recommend it!

The new owners of Chatime in Overland Park are definitely brewing up something special! 🧋 I popped in (pun intended 😉) for the first time a few weeks ago for a little pick-me-up. Not only did I leave with the most deliciously crafted bubble tea, but also with a huge smile on my face thanks to Lauren and Sonny's warm and friendly vibes! This place is an absolute gem 💎💎💎

Great tea and super friendly staff! Came in looking for a Tieguanyin but Sunny was super knowledgeable and helped me find a substitute that I loved just as much!! Definitely coming back again

Absolutely love this place! Definitely recommend the peach tea w/ strawberry boba and the milk tea w/ tapioca boba! The service is super quick, the staff is always warm / welcoming, and the taste of the drinks are 10/10. Plus, you have to try the delicious waffles! New favorite spot!

Wow! We had the most fun getting to talk with the owner. She was doing an event at Zona Rosa with another small local business. We really enjoyed our sparkly Boba! I can't wait to come to their brick-and-mortar store and try more of their delicious Boba tea. I really love that the popping pearls didn't leave and aftertaste and melted in your mouth.

You may think that this is another boba spot but think again! Chatime boba was soooo good. I got the brown sugar boba tea and it was so tasty. I wish I got a bigger size. I did the blind cup and I thought it was such a clever thing to do!! I got the cutest keychain out of it. The servers were really sweet and worked fast. The store was clean and lowkey giving wicked (in a good way ofc.) maybe they did it on purpose, either way it was such a great cutesy space. They even have games to play. I would come back!

Chatime definitely has the best boba I've had in the KC area! They were really helpful and made recommendations for what I was feeling like. The prices are very reasonable for the sizes of the drinks as well.

Had to circle back for some more boba! Great vibe and drinks as always. We got the Thai Boba and Jasmine Green Milk Tea Boba.

Chatime is absolutely my new favorite place for fun drinks and ice cream! When I went there today with a friend we got to meet the new owner, who was so friendly and provided excellent customer service! She was able to offer recommendations and when I shared that I can't have caffiene she was so great at offering suggestions that took that into consideration. After ordering two different drinks and a waffle and sampling their ice cream I can confidently say this is one of the best places for a sweet treat in the KC area!

This place was delish. They give out a lot of toppings and you can adjust to your liking. I had the fruit and milk tea. So good. Service was good and friendly. No line and drinks were done fast. This place has some cute background so it's good for your IG posts. Small and beautiful space here. Would definitely come back again here.

I love this boba place. Nice setting, very cute. Got their signature Taichi Milktea which was delicious. Love the strong tea and milk mix together. Also their lychee greentea was so good. The girls working tonight was sweet and nice. She give us good recommendation for some for other drinks. They brewed the tea fresh and are decent with the topping. A must try boba tea spot!!

I've had MANY variations of Boba and I can say ChaTime Overland Park was THE BEST! Popping pearls were new to me and they were absolutely a fantastic treat! We were greeted by a wonderful gal who took time to explain many of the drinks and gave us a sample of the popping pearls. The drinks were only enhanced by the delicious smell of the waffles made there to order! I have found my Boba home!!

Ordered through ezCater for a bulk order and delivery was seamless. Some drinks spilled, but not a big deal. The Lychee Yogurt QQ was delicious :)

CHATIME in Overland Park: Whether tea latte, milk tea, fruit tea - even bobas (bubble tea) - Chatime is a brand new taste adventure (for me). Staff are friendly and professional, with light-up-the-room smiles. I can't recommend it enough.

This is such a wonderful tea shop!!! The new owners were so sweet to me and my friend and chatted with us while making our drinks. 10/10 would recommend, literally created a yelp account so I could rave about this place!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Overland Park Chatime!!! The new owners go above and beyond and the product is amazing. We recently had Chatime cater our 16 year old daughter's birthday and it was a major hit!! so many special details were added that made it extra special. They brought their very cool tea cart and served the guests personalized drinks from a specialty menu created by Lauren, the owner for the event. All the drinks got rave reviews and I know Chatime has some new loyal customers who tried it for the first time at the party. I have never worked with any catering company that has gone to these lengths to make it such a unique and special experience while serving the most delicious treat!! I cannot recommend them enough.

Lots of flavor options, nice service, board games for those who want to hang out, and the boba tea is . This is always my go-to place for boba! I think it's just a good location, service is always good, and unlike places like Kung Fu tea you can actually sit down and socialize or just chill. I like the Hawaiian fruit tea, 30% sugar, regular ice, tapioca pearls. It's good no matter the weather, mood, or political climate. :) Oh, and for those who aren't splurging during inflation, the prices are pretty reasonable for a cup of joy.

Solid boba spot in the 888 Asian market plaza. Plentiful parking. Menu has good variety, from milky through fruity options with caffeine free offerings too. Friendly and prompt customer service. Drinks run about $4-5/ each before toppings and come in regular and large sizes. My lychee black tea with boba, regular ice, and 30% sugar was refreshing and delicious!

This boba tea place just newly opened a month ago in August. My friend and I are big foodies and love going to new boba tea places, so we had to try it out! The location is great - near 888 International Market in Overland Park, KS off 69 Highway and 119th Street. The Jasmine Green Milk Tea is my go-to drink at all the boba tea places! This one hits the spot at 50% Sugar level with Aloe Vera Topping. My friend ordered the Oolong Milk Tea with Herbal Jelly. We both enjoyed our drinks and have definitely came back. Another time I got the Mango QQ and Mango Smoothie. Both were good. The Mango QQ was a very refreshing juice drink and it usually comes with pearls and coconut jelly toppings. The Mango Smoothie was not too sweet (adjusted the sugar level to 50%) which was the perfect sweetness for me! Whenever I would visit often with my friends to try other flavored drinks, the manager lady named Vila was always so friendly and remembered me. The other staff are very nice as well. The inside of the shop is nice and clean. It has a single bathroom that always smells fresh and clean. Chatime is a good place to study and/or hangout. Another thing I like about this places is how fast they can make our drinks (under 5 mins or less, up to 10 mins if they are super busy). They do get busy, mainly on the weekends after lunch or dinner times. I would highly recommend checking them out for a light dessert!

Overall clean and friendly. I've never been a fan of the cafe that sells bubble tea at 888, which is in the same shopping area, so this is a great secondary option. Ordered the taro with original boba at 75% sweetness. The sweetness was fine, I probably would opt for 50% next time. The drink itself was really creamy. I'm not sure if they use a lactose free boba tea or they use lactose, but much too creamy for me. I'd definitely try a juice or just tea option next time

my favorite boba place ever! the staff is always really friendly, i order ahead a lot and it's typically ready in less than 10 min, and i've never had a bad drink here! the sitting area is small but nice and there's board games (like most boba shops) i would definitely recommend this place!

Had a really good time at this place! They have quality boba drinks that hit the spot. The taro milk tea was really good. They also have small board game that you can play. Yummy yummy.

The two teas we had were average. The boba was not cooked long enough. What I really hate is the fact they advertised BOGO but when you come there in the fine print only two drinks qualify for this promo. Come on guys no need for the bait n switch. Oh and like the other two reviews the store was clean but I guess that's nothing remarkable considering they are brand new lol. Update - Owner did offer to make it right which was a nice gesture.

The drink is really good, but there's not a "no tip" option, not because i don't want to tip, but it should be an option. This cup costs $9 after tax and tip, the most expensive boba i ever had in kc.

Their teas are pretty good, especially their Thai tea! But their Konjac boba, which they claim tasted the same as their normal boba, is NOT good. Even when I thoroughly mixed my drink, my boba was salty! I want to give this place a second chance but I am deterred. Update: like the other Yelp reviewers, I also got a response from the owner apologized about the Konjac boba and offering a free drink the next time I go, which was very kind of them. I'll probably give this place another go sometime in the future for their kind hospitality.

This is a legit boba tea spot. Very consistent, my favorite is their grapefruit blacktea with boba. Staffs here are always friendly and prompt. Well managed operation. With the pandemic, tea shops do run our of boba, but this place has never let me down. Always have boba available no matter what time of the day, other tea shops in town need to learn from them.

We happened upon this quaint little boba tea place heading to the 888 store. The place is small with 3 tables and some window seatings. The employees were nice and patient with us since it was our first time there. Our group ordered different varieties of drinks, and they said it was good. Overall, decent drinks here.

Highly recommend! Been in multiple times and never disappointed, 10/10 gotta give it a try without a doubt.

Absolutely delicious boba tea. Lots of flavor options and a great place to spend some time playing board games or card games. Very clean. Customer service is very friendly and welcoming. Fast service. Drinks are only 4 -5 dollars each before toppings. Location is easily accessible and plenty of parking. I got the Hawaiian and opted for no sugar and it was perfect. Great spot for my future boba tea.

We came in near closing time on opening day, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were quick to take our orders, and we got our drinks right away! This place was very very clean (which is so important for me.) They also can adjust the sweetness which was helpful as well. Their tea taste fresh and yummy. Give this place a try, highly recommend.

I never realized chatime had opened, but I was fortunate to have met Jai who recommended that I stop by. As a huge boba tea fan, I'm glad I did! I picked up a boba milk tea (as I always do when I try new boba tea places) and it tasted great and as expected. Jai, the co-owner introduced me to the staff who were all friendly and welcoming. The environment was small, but cozy. Definitely great in the summer heat as well. It is nice to have another boba tea place in the area and it's the only chatime location in the KC area! I will definitely stop by again.

We went in on grand opening day. It's a fun atmosphere and friendly staffs. We went in for bubble tea. The bubble tea is refreshing and very good. It's the best bubble tea I've had anywhere. I love that you have options on the sweetness you want in your tea. Most places doesn't give you this option. I also like that you have an option of how much ice you want in your drink which is awesome. We ordered the lychee black tea and mango green tea fruity drinks. I love the fresh lemon in the tea. Very good product. Give this place a try. There's lots of options.

Didn't know about Chatime until their grand opening and they did meet my expectation. I don't enjoy sweet things but whenever I travel in the US or overseas i gotta try their famous boba places. Chatime did have the flavor I was expecting. The drinks I tried were made with nicely brewed tea with their signature milk mixture I was looking for and for 50% sugar level it was sweet enough for me to enjoy but I will try 30% sugar level next time too see how well the flavor and sweetness play together because sometimes other boba shops tell you that you won't get much tea flavor when you make the sugar level too low. Also my Lychee black tea with rainbow jelly was amazing in this hot summer day. I almost wanted to rip the top plastic open and chug it. The boba (tapioca pearl) was a little al dente for my taste. I like my boba almost well done so it keeps its ball shape and pleasantly chewy like chewier version of mochi. Well it is hard to cook boba pearls perfectly first time. I expect them to perfect it very soon. If you prefer more tea flavored milk tea, I recommend Taichi supreme milk tea over signature milk tea. Great staff and great location. You will see me there regularly. Cheers.

I've been twice and like the variety of drinks they serve. I've done Chatime's milky tea & fruity tea, and both were delicious. I like the options to add/reduce any of the add-ons, in person. Highly recommend. Get a large drink.

The cashier was on point! There was a line out the door and with all the chaos, she repeated our order correctly and gave us the discount! Amazing flavor, i ordered the teaguinion tea latte, i was very impressed!

Went in for a milk tea at a not very busy time, only one person was in front of me, but they took forever to get my order and make the drink, came out a little upset with not that good milk tea.

Poor customer service. Try to call in to place an order over the phone to save some time. Went there to order two signature milk tea with pearl. I was told they are out of pearl. I wish I was told over the phone you are out of pearl, so I don't have to make a trip and get drinks from somewhere else.

Great boba tea spot!! I wasn't expecting much but it ended up exceeding my expectations. The service was really good, staff was friendly, and the prices were really good! The place was really clean too which was a plus. I got the matcha boba tea and it was pretty good. I would definitely recommend this spot.

I went in yesterday to try out this place...bought a couple of drinks for my kids.I went in just for the boba(black tapioca pearls which they said they were out of and would come today) The lady at the counter who I assume was the owner said 'we are having our grand opening tomorrow(aug 7th) and its Buy one , get one free, okay! so make sure to come tomorrow'. I sent my daughter to the store to buy 4 drinks for us due to the sale and she ended up paying the price for 4 drinks....not 2!!! I called the store to find out what happened to the sale and the same lady tells me that 'oh the sale was for certain drinks only'. I reminded her what she told me yesterday about grand opening and buy one get one free and she said they apparently printed that info about the particular drinks included in the sale on some paper in the store!!! Will not be going back to this store again ! Update on review....owner Mr Jay called me up personally today 8/8/21 apologizing about the BOGO. He also went ahead and refunded me the purchase price from yesterday for the 4 drinks. I do appreciate this sincere effort on the owner's part in making things right for the customer. I am happy about this gesture that the business went above and beyond to make the situation right. Thanks

Came in to try it out and was highly impressed! Clean store, friendly staff & awesome flavors/taste in the drink. Rainbow jelly was amazing in my lemon tea. Would highly recommend giving them a try.

I ordered the Thai bubble tea and if you love the traditional flavor of Thai tea, this tastes nothing like it. It tasted like a sugar cookie. I don't think they use real tea in it at all. I should have known when my favorite flavor was not in their top 10 best sellers.

It was my first time being there it was okay, they just need to hold off on all that ice. I honestly got more ice than anything.

Super close to my apartment and it is now become one of my favorite boba places. Always have recommendations and many choices which I really like.

Tons of options to customize your drink, from ice levels to sugar levels and more! Building is always clean and knowledgeable staff to help assist you in customizing your tea. Had lychee tea with boba and coconut jelly the 2nd time I went, it was nice and refreshing. Overall a good boba place with friendly service.
