Google
Love their Thai tea - it's perfectly strong and sweet. I wish they sold the black tea leaves they use to brew their Thai tea, I only found their green tea version but I didn't ask them. I love that they also have a vegan series - perfect for us lactose intolerant Asians!

Google
Went when they were newly opened so waited in a line. Nice clean vibes inside. Menu is deep there is something for everyone here. Teas are good. Ability to dial in your sweet is key. I got the Thai style espresso which was solid. I like that you can get stuff hot or cold. There were a couple laptop pirates which I don’t dig, but that’s not a strike against the shop. Staff was on their game.

Google
The decoration space in the shop is very cute, true Thai vibe. Neat and clean. Their teas are very fragrant and strong tea. Their panda boba is fragrant, chewy and delicious. The staff is very attentive and cheerful. But when I brought the rose tea home, a little spilled out. I hope the shop can improve the lid of the cup to avoid spilling.

Google
So glad this place is here now!! Rose milk tea: yummmm the flavor is super floral and sweet! But it’s a slight laxative.. beware!! Just the right amount of cream/floral/sweetness (70%). 9/10! Black Thai tea: my bf’s drink was delicious too! Very light and refreshing for a hot day. He got it 30% sweet, so it was a great balanced drink for those looking to stay on the lower end of the sugar spectrum. 8.5/10 Pandan boba: great texture, I think it could soak in some sugar for a little longer to get that sweetness infused in the boba, but the pandan shines through nicely! 7/10 Vibe: 10/10!! Super cute shirts and teas to purchase. It’s small, but there’s seating inside. As soon as you walk in, you smell the amazing aroma of their freshly brewed teas. It’s heaven 🍵 Service: 9/10! Considering they’re still hitting the ground running, service was fast and friendly.

Google
Def my new go to place for Thai Teas! Drinks are super flavorful and creamy. It’s great you can adjust the sweetness level a bit more compared to other places. BIG drink menu! Will definitely be back to try the others. Check them out!

Google
I love, love, love Chatramue! Their thai tea is sooooo good. Just entering the shop, you’re immersed in unbelievably decadent scents of the tea. Drink wise: Their thai tea has that authentic Chatramue hand brand thai mix taste. You have a choice between brown sugar boba and pandan boba. The brown sugar boba is medium sized and super chewy. Their cup is well built as well. No wonder why it’s on the pricier side. Next time i would get 30% sweetness level. IMO the regular sweet is overwhelmingly sweet. Will try the pandan boba next time too! Chatramue is worth checking out if you’re in the area. They have many choices in drinks, but this easily is the #1 spot for thai tea.

Google
I went to Thai ChaTraMue OC and absolutely loved it! The drinks were so authentic and delicious just like the ones I had in Thailand. It really made me feel like I was back home. The staff were also super friendly and welcoming. If you’re craving real Thai tea, this is the place to go! แนะนำเลย:)

Google
Cha Tra Mue serves classic Thai milk tea that’s rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The sweetness level is just right, and the aroma is very authentic. Great for a quick treat.

Yelp
This spot is pretty new, and I've been twice now -- and I'm so glad I gave it a second shot. The first time, I went just to try it out and grabbed a seasonal special (some kind of peach tea). It came in a super cute cup, but it was way too sweet. Same for my friend -- we both ended up watering our drinks down. Cute but not it. Then my other friend came to town raving about this place and told me we had to try their Thai tea -- what they're known for. So we went back and got both the green and original. Both were good, but the OG Thai tea? Best I've had. Authentic, rich, and straight from Thailand. You can taste the difference. It's in a small plaza next to Asian Garden Mall, and they actually have a few designated parking spots which helps. It's tight in there and not super fast since they brew fresh, but honestly? Totally worth it. If I were rating just the original Thai tea? 5 stars. Easy.

Yelp
IG got me here. All the hype how good Green Thai Tea. Yet none would describe the taste. At this location, Green Thai tea has floral, pandan, and vey fainted lemon grass taste. Kinda bland as diluted. Not flavorful. Everything is just a hint in flavor. Not worth $8 with pandan jelly. Ice filled to the brim. 2 sips. Done!!! I went to a Thai restaurant in HB after and tried their Green Tea Thai tea for comparison. There, tasted like regular Thai tea minus the orange color and more of lemon grass taste along with other green grass scraps.
google avatar

Monica L.

Yelp
Got the honey rose tea at 70% sweetness. Still a bit too sweet for my liking, but the strong rose flavor pulls through. Love it! Lots of ice in my drink, but not an issue. Its a warm day and the drink will still taste good a little diluted and even out the sweetness. I like that their cups are reusable with lids. Will be using these at work til I'm ready to let it go.

Yelp
Very authentic Thai tea spot and tasty drinks! Unfortunately they didn't have boba an hour before closing and their customer service was average, so I docked a star. Other than that, a decent space inside for seating and I would come back to try other drinks and their boba!

Yelp
Very excited to try the originators. Chatramue. Heard so much good things about them in Thailand. My friend is Thai. And been to Thailand recently. Said it's close. Very close to how they serve it in Thailand. Thai tea. Got it at 70 percent. Tasted excellent. Very balanced. Also got one of their peach teas. Didnt taste like syrup. Great refreshing drink Overall excellent experience. Drinks came out pretty quick. Great service. Great drinks staying true to who they are

Yelp
Located in a super small business strip. Adjacent small building next ti the Asian Garden Mall. There's limited parking within that small shared parking lot. I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the new honey lemon peach tea. That was a quite refreshing! Sweet and tangy as advertised. Service as fast and friendly.

Yelp
I saw this place on "misohungrry" IG, she's my Thai queen anywho I had to try Thai green tea mmmm yum! It's floral, sweet, creamy almost tastes like fruity pebbles milk idk I love it. The boba was HOT it may have been freshly made which is pleasant, I just prefer my drinks ice ice cold so I will skip in the future. I also tried the Thai tea - it had similar notes of fruity pebbles so it might be the sweetener that adds to the profile. Maybe condensed milk? I will try less sweet in the future to test my theory lol I will be returning for Thai green tea!

Yelp
I went this past Saturday around 2pm and it had a pretty constant flow of customers but my group of 4 was able to get a table! Drinks took about 5 minutes to come out. Table could've been more clean but nice inside overall. I got a vegan Jasmine milk tea with brown sugar boba. The server recommended that drink at 100% sweetness. The Jasmine flavor was good and fairly fragrant but it was nothing standout. The boba came out warm but it didn't stay fresh for too long and it was a little too sweet for me. They do put a fair amount of ice, which some people don't like but it was okay with me. Price is pretty standard for a boba drink nowadays. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again but also wouldn't be opposed if a friend wanted to try, and I'd try something different!

Yelp
I heard so many good things on TikTok ! I had to come be the judge for myself . I am Thai tea lover!!! This one taste thee best. No aftertaste like others ! So so goodtttt!

Yelp
Okay my favorites flavored boba is officially Pandan Boba now. Not only I grew up and familiar with Pandan flavor and fragrance, I was surprised I would find Pandan Boba here! I had it with Thai tea latte with 70% sweetness. I think it's the perfect amount of sweet, and I won't have it differently when I come back, Andi can't wait to come back! The staff are nice and they made my drink pretty fast too. The store was empty when we came but has cute decorations. This is located next to Asian Garden Mall where there's always crowd like everyday. If I'm being nipicky, I hope they will make the Pandan flavor a bit stronger hehe.

Yelp
I've heard so many great things about this place. Chatramue definitely lived up to the hype. There are so many different options for Thai tea. I ordered the vegan Thai tea less sweet (70% sweet). I usually get a stomachache and overwhelmed by the sweetness of Thai tea, but this Thai tea order was made for me. I could really taste the tea flavor. Service and ambiance were great, too. It is cute and clean inside. My only issue with this location is the parking situation. I forgot the number of times I came so close to backing up and hit those metal poles in parking lot. The lot is so narrow and small. Also, there are maybe only two designated parking spots for the tea shop. So, I just try to go there right around when they open to avoid the fight for parking.
google avatar

Melinda P.

Yelp
Super yummy red & green Thai milk teas. Parking can be tricky as the lot is small, but worth the hassle for. Prices are average & I appreciate the pandan boba option as a topping! They have lots of different drinks besides just Thai tea- the rose one is pretty good too. Service can take a little long sometimes, but they handcraft each drink made to order. All in all, nice little place!

Yelp
New spot as of early/mid 2025 in the Westminster area of OC. It's located right next door to the Vietnamese Asian Garden Mall (or next lot over) and they specialize in Thai Tea among other beverages. The drinks are customizable in terms of additions and levels of sugar, etc. The people were very enthusiastic and friendly when I came in. there was a short line and the place was lively. It did look like it was their grand opening weekend after all. I just got a regular Original Thai Ice Tea because I figured that should be the thing to get on my first visit here. As expected, the beverage made for quite the tasty treat and I really enjoyed it. Definitely a great spot for caffeinated or dessert/treat beverages and it's on my list for sure for places to stop by when I'm in the area. In terms of parking, I think there should be a good amount of parking. I actually accidentally ended up in the mall parking lot because I'm not used to coming to that area, it is a pretty busy street, and I ended up turning into the lot too early.

Yelp
So, I've been searching high and low for the perfect boba place since I moved to HB. I saw this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Parking's a bit of a nightmare, but honestly, the shop itself is adorable! I was craving Thai tea, so I ordered that with boba. The tea itself was amazing - seriously delicious! The boba, however, was a little firmer than I usually like. I'm used to that super squishy boba, and this one was a bit chewier. I'm not sure if that means it wasn't super fresh, or if that's just how they make it. I only went once, so it's too early to say if it'll become my new favorite boba spot. I definitely plan on going back and trying a few other things on their menu before I make up my mind. Will keep you all posted!

Yelp
In Thailand and people who have visited Thailand, this is the famous Thai tea that everyone adores. That's why it's called the original. For me I like it because the quality of the tea leaves is front and center. The tea taste is very silky, milky and smooth. It has depth and a richness so no matter how you mix it, combine it or play with the flavors you're going to get the same quality taste. They had buckets available so I ordered the original Thai tea this time around since it was so hot when I walked in. Yelp 25:6
google avatar

Yelp
The drinks were really good! Got two Thai Green Milk Tea's. One with less sugar, one with regular sugar. I recommend the less sugar option as it does get pretty sweet. 10/10!! Service was good and friendly, answered any questions I had. Drinks came out within 10 minutes!

Yelp
ChaTraMue is a Thai Tea brand from Thailand that's recently broken into Southern California. This location in Westminster came onto my radar when I saw people on social media buying gallon buckets of Thai Tea for $15. I came here to try this Thai brand at this Westminster location; however, they've also opened locations in the SGV and LA! I got their original thai iced tea, which costed $8, and I thought it was A-OK (3 stars per yelp). There is definitely a good amount of tea in the drink; however, the creamer was the predominant flavor in my drink. I got it as regular sweetness and there was no option to customize the amount of ice. As I mentioned earlier, I know that there was a good amount of tea in the drink because I could feel the tea drawing in the moisture from my palate (which happens naturally with strong tea); however, the flavors of the tea were not particularly strong. I may come back at a later time to play with sweetness ratios or to try other drinks, but I have to rate this as "OK" at this time.

Yelp
Excellent drinks! We got Lemon thai tea and Thai green milk tea. The Thai green milk tea is unique, different from the ones I tried. It's aromatic and creamy, not too sweet but flavorful. The drink is even more enjoyable with pearl boba added on. The staff is friendly and explain the drinks really well. The store is clean and neat, with plenty of seats and tables. They have a shelf full of merch too if you want to take home a piece of Thai specialty. Parking maybe a bit tricky, but the drinks make all effort worth it.

Yelp
Right next to the Asian Garden Mall in Westminster, ChaTraMue offers a variety of Thai Tea drinks. We originally came here thinking there was an ice cream option, similar to Wushiland, which they did not have, but we settled for their Signature Thai Tea, Green Thai Tea, and Brown Sugar Boba. Having some Thai heritage, you know I had to try this place. The Thai Tea was pretty standard, both the Regular and Green Thai Tea have a strong Thai tea taste just how I like it, but I found it very comparable to 7 Leaves' Thai teas. The brown sugar boba was just ok for us. Boba had decent texture, but we have a pretty high bar coming from Tiger Sugar. Seating and parking was pretty limited and there wasn't a direct path from the Phuoc Loc Tho, so a bit inconvenient from an accessible point of view. We'll likely need to try the Rose drink next time just to test out it being natural laxative haha. Coming from Irvine, it's quite the trek, not sure if it's worth the trip
google avatar

Yelp
The thai tea had a smooth and milky taste which is my preference :))) I mean they are the original, am I right!! We were greeted by the workers and the cashiers were very nice. The location is a good size if you're looking to grab a drink after food. The drinks have lots of ice however they do have a cute sign that explains why. Parking here sucks tho since there is very limited spots. Thai Tea: 9/10 Milky and perfectly sweet. Strong tea! (That was our initial taste) make sure you drink it fast tho because the heavy ice will have you feeling like youre drinking water instead after a while. They had a small bucket drink size which we were originally going to get but it was $15 for one, so we opted out for the regular size ($6-7). Highly recommend going here if you're craving a good thai tea :) Can't wait to go back and try their green thai tea.

Yelp
Green Thai tea is my most favorite. I liked the floral flavor and sweetness. Drink: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 cute decoration with many tables and chairs inside Location: 3/5 busy street, hard to find parking Service: 4/5 they ran out of boba when I visited. They were also blasting some Vietnamese music and I found it funny I recommend this place and I'll come back when I need some Thai tea!
google avatar

Tina T.

Yelp
My sister and I tried this spot on a Saturday morning. We've been hearing about it and happy they opened one in OC. The parking lot is kinda difficult as it's small. But we had lunch in the plaza nearby so we walked over. We got the black thai tea and green Thai tea. Both were good but sadly it did taste a bit diluted (tea flavors weren't as strong as I expected). Service was good. There were a few tables and chairs inside and WiFi as well.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
I was super excited that OC was getting a legit Thai tea shop, and that isn't to say anywhere else serving the drink isn't authentic since they tend to all come from Southeast Asian diaspora immigrants, but I've heard good things about this chain. They still seem to somewhat be in a soft opening phase, so I'm absolutely giving them some grace, but it's basically a no-nonsense takeout joint where you order, get your drink, and go. The first time I came here, the Thai tea was fantastic and among the best I've had. I've always liked that rich milky, half-and-half type of taste, but this had a certain other creaminess that tasted like the best of restaurant Thai tea I've had. They ran out of pandan boba when I got there, but the regular boba was just fine. On a revisit, I had the green Thai tea with pandan boba, and honestly I was pretty disappointed. It tasted pretty watery and the pandan boba was somewhat flavorless. I think it's possible they can be pretty inconsistent so I do want to give this another chance. Parking isn't great even with the mall nearby, or maybe especially so, but if you come by this area often, you know what you need to do to get a parking spot. TIP: Get the classic Thai tea for sure.

Yelp
Bucket of Thai Tea This is the dream for any OC Yelper and CTM in Westminster has made it a reality. You are not dreaming! It's True! Cha Tra Mue has hit its first OC location right next to the ASIAN GARDEN MALL in Little Saigon!!! Us Thai Tea Lovers no longer need to go to LA or the SGV to get our authentic Thai Tea fix. I am so in LOVE knowing that I can get a BUCKET of Thai Tea! This is CRAZY but in a fantastic way! For $15, I am one happy Yelper. I had fun showing off my Thai Tea bucket with my kids, strangers, a few friends and my mom thought I was CRAZY. I don't care because normally when I get a large Thai Tea, my hubby & kids want sip of my Thai Tea and then it's GONE. But the bucket, kept on giving and I was still able to take many sips while still sharing . Trust me, get the bucket. PS: you didn't hear it from me but most people park next door and across the street but be low key about it. See how I express my love for the THAI TEA BUCKET. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJ8AxpQvMQf/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Yelp
I heard so much about this place but I was not impressed. I got the thai tea and green thai tea with pandan boba. At 30 percent sweet, it was still too sweet. They forgot my pandan boba so I had to ask them. Instead of making me a new cup, they just grabbed my cup to add pandan boba and maybe more ice lol. I was done with the drink after like 5 sips. It was probably filled with 90 percent ice. The only thing that was good was the pandan boba. The drinks were nothing special, maybe just a little stronger tea taste. Kind of disappointed.

Yelp
Drink: Thai Tea and Thai Green Milk Tea Price: $6.55 (boba +0.75) Overall: I saw this place popping up around my feed and decided to try it out! There is limited parking and it is next to the Asian Garden Mall. They sell their Thai tea mix and merch here as well. The service was quick and the cups are very cute! The boba was chewy and good; the quality of the tea is top notch! I think next time I would get it at a lower sweetness, overall a very solid Thai tea spot!
google avatar

Kimberly P.

Yelp
[ Drink ] I ordered the Green Thai Tea with boba and it was good, nothing extraordinary. [ Service ] The customer service was good, the cashier was nice! [ Parking ] Really small parking lot with only a couple of designated spots for Chatramue.
google avatar

Yelp
7.19$ for this drink not full cup Too expensive for the drink I am not Recommend to come back So scammer

Yelp
Original Thai Tea now brewing in OC! It is located near the Vietnamese Asian garden mall or Phuoc loc tho. They got free parking space. You can customized your tea. This spot is cute. Also got a few table to hang out. This is definitely a Thai Tea Heaven in the Heart of OC! If you're a fan of Thai tea, this is your paradise. What I got: -thai tea -green thai tea -thai coffee CHATRAMUE OC, 9242 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683

Eunice P.

Yelp
Parking here is difficult, but they have 3 designated spots. It's awkward getting in n out b/c technically it should be one way but in Westminster the drivers do what they want, ok? It's super cute inside, clean and nice like most boba spots. The matcha here was good more of that authentic grassy flavor. There was steady business here so people like it here. They offer pandan flavored pearls which I had to try, it's subtle but definitely there. More on the actual pandan flavor w/ sorta that aftertaste, not just a vanilla flavored type thing. So I think the traditional flavors are what people come here for? Might be unusual/strong for some people not used to the flavors.
google avatar

Tippy P.

Yelp
I was excited to see this business opened up in westminster, next to the Asian Garden mall. It's kind of tricky to get in there, on a busy street. I missed the turn into their parking lot and ended up going into the alleyway. Small parking lot, luckily not too many customers inside. It's nice and white, with few tables and chairs to dine in. The vibe gives tropical beach. My daughter ordered the orange thai tea with crystal Boba and I tried the green thai tea with pandan boba. The pandan was delicious with the green thai tea. There's other drinks on their menu, we just wanted to try the thai tea first.
google avatar

Andy V.

Yelp
1. The drinks were delicious, and this spot really emphasize on tasting the tea element! I also really like the pandan boba! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a small interior! 3. There are only indoor seatings! They have limited number of tables! 4. The staff were friendly! They were also timely with our drinks! 5. Parking lot is small! It can also get crowded due to the busy area! Note: There is a single restroom available for customers! Photo: Oolong Milk Tea and Green Thai Milk Tea

Calina N.

Yelp
The Green Thai Tea was definitely the star of the show! The regular one just tasted way too sweet but the green one was more balanced in flavor. It's located right next to Asian Garden Mall. I wouldn't mind coming again if I'm in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
google avatar

Pauline V.

Yelp
Finally got to check out the bucket Thai Tea and original Thai tea place lol. Although I just ordered a regular sized Thai tea bc it was just for me :) Cane out to be $7 ish w tip. Thai tea was honestly comparable to 7 leaves but a little more on the sweeter side! I didn't adjust the sweetness bc I wanted to see how it was originally but next time I totally would due to it being a little on the sweeter side. The plastic cups they provide are high quality and can totally be reused lol. Service is super quick. The only downside is parking lot is small so you're better off parking across the street at Seafood Cove across the street. Drivers in this area are savages (IYKYK) so be very cautious bahahaha I
google avatar

Hailey T.

Yelp
Drinks are strong but a bit sweet so if you're not a sweet tooth, definitely ask for less. The only cons of the place are the parking lot and the wait for the drinks. It is definitely slow cause they have certain way to make it but if I have to wait more than 5 minutes for one drink, I don't know how I feel about coming back again. Hoping they would have online ordering later on
google avatar

Justin N.

Yelp
Being right next to AGM, you will find great service and even better Thai Tea at Chatramue :) Place was clean, open, and drinks came out quick. I also appreciate the cups, as they have a nice little stopper for whenever you want to stow away your drink in the fridge or bring it to your friends later on.
google avatar

Mylinda T.

Yelp
Sad to say we were disappointed. The thai espresso tasted bad, coffee flavor was not there. A bad mix overall or just not done right. The tea flavor was not strong i think the ratio from tea to half n half or whatever milk they use needs to be adjusted. there was two other people in the store so it wasn't busy at all. The pandan boba was really good despite the drinks. We got the Thai tea and thai espresso both with pandan boba which was around $17 after tip. The store itself is kept nice and clean. there's plenty of space to park so that was nice. However this isnt really a great place to study as there wasn't many tables. Service was also quick and easy. There's plenty of menus everywhere which helps w deciding what to order keeping the line moving fast as possible. Can easily say overhyped.
google avatar

Christine N.

Yelp
This has been on my list since they opened and glad I was finally able to visit! There's other locations in LA and Rosemead, but it's under different ownership. I tried their regular Thai tea and the green Thai tea. The staff did warn there would be less creaminess if it's under 100% sugar, but honestly I don't think it took away from the drink even at 30% sweetness. Only sad they ran out of pandan boba, but would come back again!
google avatar

Colette N.

Yelp
It was my first time trying this famous brand and now i'm hooked! I ordered the regular Thai tea with boba at 100% sweet, while my dad got the same thing at 70% (less) sweet. The cashier let us know that 70% sweet would be significantly less sweet and creamy so I opted for full sweetness, which I'm glad I did! You can really taste the difference between full and less sweet, so if you prefer slightly sweeter and creamier drinks this will really hit the spot. Now I know what authentic Thai tea tastes like and I'll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
The moment I stepped into Cha Tra Mue in OC, I was immediately greeted by the most incredible aroma -- the fragrant, earthy smell of Thai tea leaves filling the entire shop. It was so inviting that I knew right away I was in for something special. You can actually smell the authenticity in the air before even ordering. I ordered their classic Thai Tea and the Thai Lemon Tea, and both completely lived up to the hype. The Thai Tea was perfectly balanced -- bold and creamy without being overly sweet, which a lot of places unfortunately get wrong. The Thai Lemon Tea was super refreshing too, a perfect pick for a hot day. It had a citrusy brightness that complemented the tea beautifully, and just like the Thai Tea, the sweetness was subtle and never overwhelming. You get the full depth of the tea flavor without it being masked by too much sugar. One thing to note: if you ask for light ice (which I tried), the drink tends to fall a little short compared to getting it with full ice. With full ice, everything stays perfectly cold and the ratio of tea to ice is just right, enhancing the flavor experience. The service here was excellent -- the staff were friendly, patient, and you could tell they take pride in serving the best quality drinks. Another huge plus is that unlike a lot of other shops that use whole milk or half-and-half, Cha Tra Mue uses a different kind of milk and sugar that really allows the tea to shine. You can actually taste the difference; it's cleaner, lighter, and gives the tea a much more authentic profile without feeling heavy or overly creamy. Overall, Cha Tra Mue is an absolute gem considering this is their other location besides LA. If you're looking for real Thai tea made with care and high-quality ingredients, you won't be disappointed here. Whether you're just stopping by or making it a destination, it's worth every sip.

Yelp
3 dedicated parking spot in a very small lot. It's right next to Asian Garden Mall (Phuc Loc Toc). Store is big in the inside. There are 5 tables inside. Thai Tea: 5/5, 100% sweet (recommended). I was going to get less sweet but they said it wouldn't be as creamy. Taste great with no weird aftertaste that Thai tea usually has. Mocha Thai: 5/5 taste like chocolate coffee ice cream with Thai it's interesting but also very good since it wasn't sweet at all even with 100%. Pandan boba was firm but chewy it was perfect. Definitely will come back when I'm in visiting Asian garden mall!

Yelp
ChaTraMue is now open in OC and bringing that authentic Thai tea experience to Little Saigon! They have a smaller parking lot with about 4-5 spots. Most likely, you will have to park where the Asian Garden Mall is and walk over. Inside, they a modern and cozy interior with about 5-6 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a nice selection of different original, special, latte, vegan, coffee, and rose drinks to choose from. I stopped by to grab some drinks for the homies and got a Thai Green Milk Tea with Pandan Boba. Overall, I am glad that this spot is getting introduced to OC! All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Since they are still ramping up, make sure to be patient with wait times. Come stop by to support and enjoy some authentic Thai drinks. ChaTraMue welcome to Little Saigon!

Yelp
I've been wanting to visit ChaTraMue for a long time, so I'm so glad a convenient OC location opened up. I was really lucky and managed to snag a parking spot in the small lot in front of the shop. However, I think it'd be best to park at the Asian Garden Mall next door and walk over next time. Since it's new and popular, there was a line out the door. Don't let that deter you because it goes by fast. Once inside, I noticed that it was a tad warmer than expected. I guess there's no AC yet... hope they get one before summer comes around. Also, there's a 4% processing fee for credit cards, so bring cash if you want to save a few cents. DRINKS: Since there have been complaints about a lack of flavor with 70% sweetness orders, the cashier suggested my friend and I order 100% sweetness. I think it was a good call. Thai Tea (4.75/5) - Got it with brown sugar boba. The thai tea flavor was strong. I overheard the owner tell a group of people it's authentic and that they don't use a powder, which I think is nicely reflected by how clean the drink tasted. Minus 0.25 points because there was a lot of ice and I think they could have been more generous with the toppings. Thai Green Milk Tea (4.75/5) - Got it with the pandan boba. First time having pandan boba and it was delicious. It tasted similar to bánh lọt, and it paired well with the thai green milk tea. The drink itself was lighter in flavor than the thai tea and tasted more milky. Also minus 0.25 points for the heavy ice and light toppings. SERVICE: (5/5) Phenomenal service. It's a new location, so it's apparent that the staff are still trying to work out some minor issues; however, it's wonderful to see how receptive they are to constructive criticism and how quick they are to make the right changes (i.e. Being advised to select 100% sweetness since yelp reviews have been complaining about 70%). I also was kindly told to let them know if I had any issues with my drinks and that they'd be more than happy to fix it to my liking. I thought that was super sweet of them. TLDR// This is a new ChaTraMue location offering authentic, clean thai teas along with a wider variety of drinks. The service is out of this world. Parking may be difficult and it's a busy spot, but I think it's worth it. Would definitely consider going back if I'm craving thai tea or wanting to try more of their extensive menu.

Yelp
I'll be honest, the location is awful. Terrible parking and too many people. That would be fine if everything else was okay. No, the service is one of the worst I've ever received. Bunch of teenagers with zero customer service training. They act like they don't want to be there and don't want to serve anyone. 30 minutes passed and my drinks never came out so I went up to see what was going on. Before I could say anything the kid putting the drinks out glares at me and says "this is not yours". Really puts me off and will not come back here ever again. Learn customer service and actually train your employees. Doesn't matter how good your product is if you don't know how to treat your customers. The two stars is for the Thai Tea lemonade. Fire drink not gonna lie.

Yelp
ORDER green thai tea -- 70% sweet w/ boba the drink came out to almost $8 and i was surprise for hear that the ice level can not be adjusted. for a drink filled with that much ice, I expected it to be more concentrated and for the tea flavor to be strong. however, the drink was watery and lacked flavor. i asked them to remake the drink... they dumped it and made me a new one. the new drink was a little better, but again for a drink filled with so much ice, i expected better. SERVICE quick service, you order at one end of the store and pick up at the other. AMBIANCE barely any parking spaces, so id suggest parking next door at asian garden mall and walking over. inside is spacious with plenty of seats.

Yelp
Saw this spot from tiktok advertising they're a chain specializing in thai teas from Thailand. Decided to give it a try when I was in Little Saigon area. They had a wide array of drinks, from teas to coffees with different topping options. I got their original thai tea and green thai tea as a start. Both drinks didn't have a bitter caffeine punch like other spots do. It was very smooth and creamy tasting. I actually never tried anything like it. Definitely will be back to try their other drinks. There are indoor tables to enjoy your drink. Parking is also not too bad as they have a dedicated small lot right up front.

Yelp
This iconic Thai brand brings the real deal. It'ssmooth, fragrant, and bold with every sip. You can finally try the original and authentic Thai tea right in OC. The aroma when you first enter the store is chef-kiss. The tea is rich with that signature blend of spices and tea leaves that Thai tea lovers know so well. If you've had Thai tea in Thailand, this will bring you right back. If you haven't, this is the one to start with.

Yelp
On a Tuesday afternoon, they're not too busy as I've seen through online posts of weekends recently. Parking is limited in their lot, so I parked over in the Asian Garden Mall and just walked over. Service and wait time were average. Little heads up, there's a 4% processing fee when paying with a card. Got the Thai Tea, Thai Green Milk Tea, and TraMue Coffee. - Thai Tea: Wasn't anything special, basic but not a good basic. I tasted more creamer/milk than the tea. For about $7, it wasn't worthwhile for me. - Thai Green Milk Tea: I found this drink was better because it didn't taste just creamy compared to the Thai Tea, but still, nothing special. I tasted the tea more in this, but I feel like green thai tea generally is more fragrant. Overtime, the ice melts, and the drink gets bland. Again, $7 feels like a lot to pay for this quality when I can buy the tea leaves and make it better at home. - TraMue Coffee: I honestly wasn't expecting much when I ordered this drink, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was better than I thought. I found it to be the best tasting of the three and cheapest of the three as well. It's rich, fragrant, and strong. A bit too sweet for me (not sure if you can adjust sweetness because I didn't ask), but it's actually a good choice if you want coffee from here. Overall, it's unfortunately nothing special to go out of your way or to wait in a very long line for. I was excited to stop by because they're known for thai tea from Thailand yet when I tried their thai teas, I found both to be a bit lackluster. If you're in the area and would like a milky drink and something new to try, why not. I think that things are worth at least a try (within the appropriate circumstances, of course). Otherwise, you're not really missing out if you don't make the stop here. Will note that they are currently in their soft opening stage, so hopefully, quality will improve by their grand opening, and a revisit may change my opinion.

Yelp
We were so lucky a location opened up near my friend's place so we could hang out there. We all went there together due to the hype and it was really enjoyable. There were plenty of tables and benches to sit with friends while waiting. There's a nice wall to take pictures of your drinks with. They also have a wall of goodies that you can purchase tea and items off it. Highly recommend the bottles as they're pretty cute. If you're paying attention, there's many places around the shop that advise you that the rose tea will have small natural laxative effects due to them using rose in their drinks. In addition, it also has positive effects on digestion, skin, and more. As much as I wanted to try this, it'd take me 2 hours through traffic and since that's usually when the effects may hit, I couldn't risk it. Instead, I opted for the thai latte, which comes with boba already so love it! I got it at 75% sweetness, which I think was perfect. It wasn't too sweet and the milk made it creamy and refreshing in the hot weather. If you can't risk the rose tea and want to try more than the thai tea, then the thai latte would be it. Bonus points: The owner knows how to have a vision and take perfect pictures. You'd be lucky if you bump into her during your trip.
