I have been coming here since 2024. I love the variety of tea combinations. The flavors are amazing. One of my favorites is the Honey Lemon Green Tea with extra lemon. It's stupid delicious. The customer service is excellent. The decor is inviting and chill. Come check them out.

Google
Nice Thai tea/coffee spot. Nicely decorated and a decent amount of comfortable seating inside. It's a good place to chat with friends or even get a little bit of work done. Most of the drinks are iced so it's a nice refreshing option. A good location a short walk from LA Historic Park. Service is good. Friendly staff. Easy parking in the business center lot.

I complained to (2 male employees) because specifically they add wayyyyyyy too much ICE to their drinks! It's MOSTLY ICE! The drink is like 8 sips and then it's gone! I asked for easy ice and they claimed they can't do that (the woman employee) which I never heard a place not be able to put less ice inside a drink. So you can enjoy the large size of drink and not mostly ice and a small drink! The size of the cup doesn't matter obviously because they fill the tall cup with half ice. It's the same size as a medium/small cup of drink damn near. The drink overall it's ok, it's just ok, the green tea, with the 70% sweeter that they add in is the only reason why the drink is good but not great! You can def make this at home. It's a rip off. Even tho I see people coming in here buying, they rip you off with the amount of ice they put in the cup! They claim they have to put that much ice to make the drink cold but I'm sure they can add way less and it get cold. Also they didn't wanna make another drink to make up for this complaint I had. They are cheap! Usually a business would do it over to ensure I'm satisfied as a customer (YELP ELITE EVENT).. especially... impress me. I'll write a 5 star review! But no, they don't care about a 1 star review. The purpose of this review is to help these people improve their business! They have a flyer that says their reviews help improve the business but they don't wanna improve my experience today. I came from Long Beach (1 hour to get here) to try them & review... and I told them I didn't wanna give them a 1 star but I have to. They said the woman employee wasn't wrong about the ice & had their staff back which is wrong because customers are right and come first. I mean what should I expect from baristas at a Thai place? Min wage workers probably won't go above and beyond. More over, You can't even get to the boba at the bottom because it's at the bottom where it's warm (at first), and you wanna taste the cold top first but before you get to the bottom it's nothing but ice left and then you can't eat the boba easy. Whoa. I did tell them this in person. Usually an established business gets you another drink but this time they didn't. Nice place to sit and get on ur laptop tho! This might as well been a small drink! Totally a 1 star experience for me.

Google
We've been to this cafe before for the delicious regular Thai tea (get the extra tea upgrade) and the Thai Green Milk Tea with Honey Pandan Boba was worth a try! It has jasmine and green tea so it tastes more floral and the pandan boba was fragrant and lightly chewy. The staff are so nice and the space has wifi and a couch and table area if you need to work. I actually enjoyed my wife's Thai green tea latte which uses regular milk instead of condensed milk even though we both had it at 30% sweetness. The tea flavor was better complemented by the regular milk. They no longer have the soft serve but they offer slushies if you need an icee fix!

Google
Im an OBSESSED. I usually can’t have boba teas because of the sugar content, so I decided to try ChaTraMue’s Rose tea latte (0% sugar) with oat milk and honey pandan boba ::muah:: I am addicted. The rose has this wonderful floral taste, and the honey pandan boba adds a touch of sweetness and boldness. I could drink it all day. My only comment: please offer the drink in a bigger size. I would buy the bigger size if it was offered. Parking is street and lot parking. It’s in a part of town that has more plentiful parking so that’s a plus. The cafe is clean, the employees are nice, and the vibes are chill. 100% A+ will come again. Please offer the rose tea latte in a larger size!

Google
If you have ever tried Thai Tea and think you like it, this place is completely a must visit for you. I tried this brand for the first time in Thailand and it was AMAZING. The place where this store is might seem off but their tea is the same. You will probably never try a better Thai tea elsewhere. This brand is already the best in Thailand and I hope it stays here for many years. Really give it a try and it won't disappoint you. Try the original Thai tea if you are unsure of what to order. Low sugar is still sweet enough if that's what you prefer and it tastes amazing.

Google
My Life Motto…More Bubbles Less Troubles. :D Let’s begin! ChaTraMue is a popular bubble tea spot located in Los Angeles. It’s located in a large plaza off Chinatown. They offer a wide range of flavorful Thai teas and milk teas. I have known this tea shop for years and even heard boba customers give rave about the authentic taste and rich flavors of their drinks, such as the Original Thai Tea and Milk Green Tea. Therefore, I decided to pay them a visit. I came on a late afternoon and decided to order a Thai Lemon Tea (16oz) x agar jelly. It was very good in taste. Interior was relaxing with a massive Thai mural on the wall. They have a kiosk for faster service; they have order counter for those folks who are traditional. Lounge sofa and chairs were comfortable. Prices were affordable and competitive. Service was impeccable and bloody quick! Overall, I liked my iced lemon thai tea and experience. I recommend it.

Google
Perfectly Sweetened Green Tea Matcha. Stumbled upon this place on accident and I was pleasantly surprised, boba was moist but not chewy and it complemented the green tea, perfect for a hot summer day. Also they had Koi Fish outside which was pretty cool.

Yelp
My favorite drink here is the Thai tea with lime! It's the perfect sweet and sour combination. The drinks are on the sweeter side so my preferred sweetness is usually 70% with extra lime. The last time I got 70% my drink was still too sweet, so I'm thinking I'll get a lower sweetness the next time. I noticed that their regular sizing got smaller compared to when they first opened, so I recommend getting the large size! You can also buy their Thai tea leaves if you want to make their drinks at home.

Yelp
ChaTraMue is cute Thai tea spot in an industrial looking plaza that also houses a large Thai market and a few small business. It's bright, open, and clean. The staff is very friendly and you can either order with a cashier or at a kiosk. I was sad they discontinued Thai green tea soft serve but I did have taste of the Thai tea soft serve which was tasty. I ordered their signature Thai green milk tea. It was really good. I got less sweet which was plenty sweet enough I think. And you can taste the green teas. . I also tried the matcha milk tea with boba. The matcha flavor was prominent and the boba was soft and chewy.

Yelp
Heard about this place for a while. Located in a kind of random spot, but they have a private parking lot and it's still relatively close to bus/metro stops. They have lots of thai tea mixes for sale here, and I'd like to come back to try their other tea varieties. Even though they have a counter to order, it seemed like most folks just used the ipad to the side. Not much interaction with actual people other than handing over your drink. Original thai tea - pleasant with 70% sugar, it did have a slight bitter aftertaste that I couldn't ignore. Honey pandan boba was nice and chewy with light pandan flavor. I wish the original were smoother. Thai green tea latte - smoother aftertaste, nice and fragrant. Would get one of their lattes instead of the original if you want something that doesn't have the almost-gritty accompaniment Some seating indoors/outdoors, but it doesn't seem like a place people would come to get work done. I had high expectations that weren't met, but it's not a bad spot to try something new. I'd be back if I were in the area.

Yelp
If you think you're missing out and want to try this place...just buy the instant version online from this brand because it's exactly the same. It is good but exactly what you'd expect.
google avatar

Irene P.

Yelp
Quick ordering on the iPad upon entering the store! I got a green Thai tea, which was pretty good. Different, but good. Ambiance is cute with some tables and chairs! Good for catching up with a friend. Parking in the plaza can be tough on the weekends.

Yelp
Stopped by ChaTraMue and ordered the Green Thai Tea and their signature Thai Tea--both were excellent! The tea was super fragrant, smooth, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. You can definitely taste the quality of their tea compared to other places. My only regret? Not getting the bucket size! If you love Thai tea, this spot is a must-try. Will definitely be back for a bigger size next time!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here with my family and it was our first time trying out their Thai latte. It was delicious! Cute chops and service were professional and quick. The quality of their tea is floral and flavorful. I opted for the 70% less sugar and it worked out for me. I prefer my beverages low in sugar. It was just perfect. This is quality Thai tea. Located next door to a Thai Wholesale Market. Across is are Thai street food vendors. Parking may be difficult if they're busy. Definitely worth checking this place out if you're into Thai Ice Teas.

Yelp
My FAVORITE Thai tea brand, I love to make my at home Thai tea with this brand. After seeing this spot online I knew I had to try this place. The place is very clean with a few seating inside. Loved the painting on the wall, it was so pretty! I ordered on the kiosk, the wait was 5-7 minutes, the workers are fast and friendly. I got the Thai milk tea with boba and the green Thai milk tea with pandan boba. The drinks were rich and creamy, I loved it! Would definitely come again if I'm down in the area.

Yelp
Worth the try: original tea drinks Tip: If you're a tea fan, you can specifically ask for extra tea flavor! I haven't seen this at other tea shops. Thai Tea: Their most popular drink, made with black tea, spices, sugar, condensed milk, and evaporated tea. Creamy with a good tea flavor. Green Thai Tea: Made with a special roasted green tea mix with jasmine, sugar, and condensed milk. Creamy, floral, and divine. I personally like my drinks not too sweet so I got 30% and it was just right. PARKING: Small parking lot available in front otherwise street parking available nearby. ATMOSPHERE: Cute, spacious shop in Chinatown. Love the gorgeous mural in the shop! I've experienced the shop both when it was busy and not so busy, so know that the crowds do vary. SERVICE: Staff was friendly and quick to make our drinks! Had to give this place a try because ChaTraMue is one of the most popular Thai tea brands both in Thailand and internationally. Thai tea usually isn't my go-to at boba shops but I was excited to hear they had a brick and mortar here in the States. The drinks are delicious and you can really taste the tea flavor, plus the milk doesn't leave you feeling too heavy. I'll be back to try their other menu items like the soft serve, lattes, and floats.

Yelp
Warning: The rose teas have a natural laxative warning for a reason. Don't take it lightly, even if you've had rose teas many times before. They say to be near a bathroom within 1-2 hours. Got: 1) 3/5 Thai tea latte ($6.25) was decent. Didn't like the pandan boba. 2) 4/5 rose milk tea ($6.90): This was really good. 3) 5/5 Lime Lychee Honey Rose Tea ($6.90): This was my fave since it's a bit sour & also has a slight lychee flavor.

Yelp
I've only tried their Thai milk tea and Thai tea latte. The Thai tea latte tastes lighter than the Thai milk tea since it has a layer of Thai milk tea and just plain milk. Both tasted excellent that it makes me curious to try their other flavors. For the boba, the Thai tea latte came with Pandan Honey boba, which seemed very interesting because I've never seen it before, but it really did nothing for me. It didn't taste like Pandan at all - not even honey. The regular boba was pretty good though - it actually tasted like honey in the Thai milk tea despite it being stronger than the latte and at 100% sweetness. I'd definitely want to get the tea latte again, but would probably substitute it with a different topping. Only other complaint would be that the only ice adjustment you can make is to add more ice, but even with no adjustments the ice level is still pretty high so I wish there was an option for less ice.

Yelp
close to the train station and fast service, id study here if i lived closer! i wish they had food too. but its neat and spacious, i got the thai green tea latte at 70% sweetness and i enjoyed it, just wish it came in a larger size

Yelp
If you're a Thai tea fan, ChaTraMue is a must-try! Their Iced Thai Tea is super creamy with a strong tea flavor-- but I definitely recommend getting it less sweet if you don't love super sweet drinks. We got the large size and it came with this cute bucket! The Thai Green Tea Soft Serve is pretty solid, not too sweet, and tastes just like green Thai tea. The Chinatown spot has a small parking lot but plenty of seating to chill. Great place to grab a tasty drink and hang out!
google avatar

Grace J.

Yelp
I've been hooked to the yuzu rose tea ever since my friend introduced me to it. The rose flavor is pronounced but not overpowering and combined with yuzu adds the perfect citrus kick. The drink comes standard with agar jelly and goji berries. The amount of ice is not adjustable but the level of sweetness is customizable. I love their green thai tea as well but I wish they offered nondairy milk options.
google avatar

Sam L.

Yelp
The service and ambiance were fast and perfect. I tried the original Thai tea and the Thai lemon tea with extra lemon. Both were fantastic - the Thai tea was creamy, flavorful, and not too sweet. The Thai lemon tea was refreshingly sour, which I loved! Both had that strong, authentic Thai tea flavor. Can't wait to come back and try more drinks! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Katherine N.

Yelp
Super solid thai tea! Delicious treat! Went with the traditional Thai tea but there were a ton of different drinks to choose from.
google avatar

Nathan P.

Yelp
I thought I'd really like this place since I love Thai tea and this is one of the top Thai name brands that I recognize. After two times ordering their green Thai tea, I'm not a fan of how they make it here. Their green Thai tea tasted overly milky and lacked the bold, floral flavor I associate with green Thai tea. I prefer this drink more from 7 Leaves and Seaside Bakery. If I were to come back, I'd have to try the OG Thai tea which I would hopefully enjoy more. They always seem to not be serving soft serve when I come in. Such a bummer.
google avatar

Jorena L.

Yelp
The OG ChaTraMue all the way from Thailand! Love that this location is so near to me and has parking in the front. The lady working there was so nice and welcoming. There's a decent amount of seating. I ordered the Thai green milk tea with honey pandan boba. This drink was delicious. Creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness and the boba was nice and chewy. Loved grabbing a drink here and definitely will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
BELIEVE THE HYPE! Delicious, high quality Thai tea and open decently late for a boba place (at least on the weekends), especially since most boba hours have been decimated after the pandemic. They do have a lot next door, but be warned if there's an event in the area, it IS paid parking. There are options for free street parking nearby, or if you'd like it's not that far of a walk from Chinatown proper. During the weekends, there's also a night market held in front too, so grab some drinks and bites too. They have 2 self order kiosks to order from or you can order online ahead of time for pick up. Even with the crowds the workers are friendly and work quite efficiently. I think it's absolutely HILARIOUS how many times you have to check that you acknowledge that the rose teas are laxatives and I'm going to be honest, it's TRUE. I've had rose milk tea elsewhere, but this gave you a smooth restroom trip a couple hours later. No pain at all, so I guess if you really need to clean the pipes, just grab their rose milk tea! I've had the regular Thai milk tea, Green Thai milk tea, Rose Milk Tea, and both the Thai and Green Thai Milk Tea Soft serves. All are delicious and have a strong flavor of the tea without being too overpowering nor too sweet even at the 75% sweetness setting. It's HIGH QUALITY Thai tea, the flavor is so strong and yummy without the extra cream and sugar to dilute things out. Tastes great and I love that they have their bucket sized drinks too. Their soft serve is in limited batches and it does sell out so keep that in mind. It is a bit icy and melts quickly, but it does NOT lose any of the Thai tea flavor despite this. I love the branding and aesthetics for their logo, cups, and tea tins. Perfect for tea time. It's hard to NOT go here when we're in the area just because of yummy their Thai tea is and the fact that it's open decently late in a PvP zone.
google avatar

Daniel L.

Yelp
If you're a tea lover, this spot is a must visit! Renowned for their creamy, aromatic Thai tea, they offer two sizes and customizable topping options like brown sugar boba, agar jelly, and honey pandan boba. Their menu also features decadent soft serve and refreshing floats, perfect for a sweet treat. With quick service and a relaxed, modern vibe, this first ever US location is the perfect place to chill and sip on something amazing. Give this place a try!
google avatar

Kathy L.

Yelp
Tried both their regular thai tea and green thai tea and it was okay. Not strong tea flavor and for one of the drinks I did ask them to add more tea to see if it'll change the flavor and after doing so it just tasted water down. Not sure if we went on a bad day or not but not worth the drive
google avatar

Shirley W.

Yelp
We got there at 4pm and apparently they wouldn't let people park there anymore? Though luckily there is plenty of street parking around this area. It's a pretty big cafe and there's a good amount of seats! They were all filled so there wasn't really anywhere else to sit besides these two chairs by the restroom haha. I got the thai tea with pandan boba (wow my first time trying pandan boba?!) and my bf got the green thai tea. Ordering was easy, and they were quick to make the drinks! First sip and wow, this tasted soooo authentic! The pandan boba was okay, I wish it was more pandan flavor and chewier, but it was a nice topping to have. The Green Thai Tea was also pretty good! It's slightly more sweeter than the original thai tea but still really goood. Definitely will come here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Came on a weekday night. There was a Thai night market happening so the parking lot was taken. Street parking was not hard. The shop was empty but had good amount of indoor seats. Drinks were made in about 10min so it was a good time to explore the night market. Overall solid Thai tea shop but not extraordinary. 7/10 Green Thai Tea $5.5 - Thai tea flavor and floral jasmine of the green version is very light. Sweetness is adjustable and was made just right for me. 8/10 Thai Tea $5.5 - Same as above for tea flavor, just a bit light. Was creamy, not too rich, and overall solid and better than average. Green Thai Latte $6.25
google avatar

Sorn Anusorn M.

Yelp
Average Thai tea cafe. I'm Thai so I would expect more from this place so I might be biased here. We ordered hojicha milk tea with boba. The tea flavor was mild and the bobas were not great. The service was quick but the staff not super service oriented. You order through a kiosk so little interaction with them. The place was crowded when we were there. The overall is bright. There are a number of seats but not for long sitting. There are variety of tea options. The tea boxes are way more expensive than what sold in Thailand. $4 vs $15. You can get them cheaper from the Thai grocery next door.
google avatar

Linny P.

Yelp
I came for the Thai Night Market and was excited to see this place in the same plaza. If the night market isn't happening, it looks like there is a parking lot available. There's also several tables inside. I tried the Thai Tea and Thai Green Milk Tea from their Original tea menu ($5.50 each). Both drinks were watered down (lots of ice) and didn't have as much tea flavor. For $1 more, you can upgrade your drink and get 50% more tea, which i originally didn't think I needed but should have done. Overall, I've had better Thai tea at other places and for $6.50 (with tea upgrade), I don't think it's worth it.

Yelp
Came by for tea the other day and it was a tasty experience. ChaTraMue is a Thai thai tea brand that is everywhere in Thailand! Unlike Thai teas at most Thai restaurants in the US, the Thai here is strong and smooth, made using an espresso machine! ChaTraMue is located in the LAX-C shopping plaza with parking available inside the private lot or on the street. There are seats available both indoors and outdoors. Ordering is available with a staff member or via a tablet. Ordered a Thai iced tea with 70% sweetness along with some pearls. The pearls were perfectly chewy. The Thai tea was strong, although the one in Thailand was even stronger. There was a full cup of ice though with an option to get less ice for $1... A large size seems to be the only option... $6.15 for a Thai iced tea with pearls.
google avatar

Cindy N.

Yelp
I've had this place saved for a while because ChaTraMue is a well known brand in Thailand bringing authentic Thai Tea and more delicious drinks to the US! And it did not disappoint! When you step inside the store, it smells HEAVENLY! The tea aroma hits you instantly and that tells you how good their tea quality is! 'Thai Tea': the standard, the OG! I loved the aromatic tea flavor and it was very light and refreshing too! I usually adjust the sweetness level of my drinks, but they recommend 100% sweet here and honestly it was just the right amount of sweetness! Went during a weekend and stumbled upon a Thai Food Night Market that was going on right outside the storefront, I believe this is weekly if you want to grab a drink here and check out the different food options at the night market!
google avatar

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
Was super excited to try this place since it was opened by a well known tea brand. Got the Thai milk tea with 70% sweetness and it was very bland. It tasted like I was just drinking creamer/milk. I think I would get the 100% sweetness if I were to try next time, but at the same time I'm not sure if I would come back again. I think making it yourself with the bags might be better since you can control it better to your own taste.
google avatar

Kayla D.

Yelp
- - ~ * HIGHLY CAFFEINATED * ~ - - I drink one or two matcha EVERYDAY, so I think I have tolerance for caffeine. BUT this drink got me staying UP and shaking because of how much caffeine it was for me. ITS PRETTY GOOD THO haha SO if you need to stay up or like highly caffeinated drinks go here There's a parking lot in front of the shop for free! I got the - green thai tea 3/5 - oolong honey lemon tea 4/5 I'm more of a milk tea person BUT I preferred their oolong honey lemon tea it was pretty good!
google avatar

Lynn L.

Yelp
ORDER thai tea w/ pandan boba (4/5) -- 70% sweet can't go wrong with a thai tea! super yummy.. the pandan flavor was chewy and you can definitely taste the pandan. SERVICE we ordered on the kiosk (there are 2) and the drink came out quickly. AMBIANCE plenty of parking, which is a huge bonus! cute interior with plenty of seats.
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
Came during the thai night market so they were really crowded but they have a little ordering kiosk as well as a cashier so ordering was pretty quick Tried the Thai tea float, thai tea soft serve, and thai lemon tea - all super strong in flavor and really good! My absolute favorite was the Thai lemon tea, I had to go back in to order 2 more. There's a lot of ice because they say they use a tea concentrate so they need the ice too dilute it down a little but honestly I could not leave it long enough to dilute, it was too good
google avatar

Ann C.

Yelp
My kids are right! This is some seriously good Thai Tea! We got 3 original Thai Tea full sweetness, Thai Green Tea, Thai Tea 70 sweet and an Oolong Milk Tea. Thai Tea soft serve ice cream. They were out of the Green tea which I wanted... next time. All of them are truly yummy! You can get less ice and more tea for $1 more. They also sell tea bags and canisters of their tea. Located in a strip mall with limited parking. Such a cute store... great place for people to have a cool sweet drink and hang out. Lots of chairs and small tables for groups to congregate. Good music in the background.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
I came and saw they had a limited time bucket of tea. You can choose whichever tea youd like dor 8.95. I chose the green thai tea. Also would like to confirm that it is actually 2x the drink. I used the original cup it came wit and filled it with water and poured it into the bucket. To my surprise it was exactly 2 cups. So, if you know you want more than 1 cup or share, I would recommend the bucket.
google avatar

Kay Y.

Yelp
Great teas don't get me wrong, but kind of a weird business model. So if you don't upgrade to the "tea lover" you'll be getting about 65%-70% ice. With the upgrade you will enjoy more tea. Kinda off putting lol
google avatar

Tuyetnhi M.

Yelp
Believe the hype! Prices are reasonable. Clean establishment and good service. I loved my rose tea- they warn of a laxative effect but nothing happened with me. My hubby had the Thai lemon tea. I also bought some tea bags to go, but just a tip: The Thai Costco (pretty much, lol) next door- sells these tea bag packages for half the price! I bought 2 bags in this shop, went next door, and saw they were half price! So huge tip if you like purchasing bags of tea to make at home.

Yelp
ChaTraMue is serving up some super high quality Thai tea and more! This spot is located just on the outskirts of Chinatown in LA. It is located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking spots with street parking surrounding it as well. Inside, they have a nice modern interior with about 5-6 tables for seating. They have 2 self-ordering kiosk machines or you can order up front with an employee too. Wifey and I got the Thai Tea and the Thai Green Tea and both hit the spot! Both drinks had the right amount of sweetness, creaminess, and brew! Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by here to give it a try. If you end up really liking one of the drinks, they also sell boxes of their tea brews as well. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back for another drink next time we're in the area!

Yelp
Cha Tra Mue is a old-school Thai brand tea company that was established in 1945. Popular brand among Thai restaurants and households. Recently, they opened up a tea shop in Los Angeles at the LAX-C market (Thai Costco). I had the opportunity to check them out while visiting the weekend Thai night market. FYI: on Friday-weekends the tea shop is open till midnight/12am. Definitely get the Thai Ice Tea or Coffee. The Thai Green Tea was my least favorite- it had floral notes (Jasmine? Idk). Loved that the "level of sweetness" can be adjusted to your preference. Ask questions if needed, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They take credit and cash; no $50 or $100 bills.

Yelp
finally got to try the famous ChaTraMue, the popular thai tea spot and brand in Thailand!! I got the original thai tea with less ice (extra $1 unfortunately) and the rose milk tea, which they stress multiple times is a natural laxative lol--it says to make sure you're near a bathroom in 1-2 hrs. the OG thai tea was phenomenal, and tasted very authentic as expected. the rose milk tea was really good, but I noticed it did not produce a laxative effect for me lol. maybe my gastrointestinal system is already healthy. the cups the drinks came in were pretty nice. the inside of the place is cute and has nice decor and paintings and has ample seating. outside there's a parking lot (apparently gets busy on weekends but thursdays are not busy I noticed), and they have a public restroom to use. love this place!!

Yelp
Today was a good day to come for their lemon drinks. I ordered from the kiosk and it didnt take too long. I also didn't realize that you can add extra lemon! So I did that with the Thai Lemon tea. It has a great tea flavor and lemon. As for the ambiance, it was so hot in there :(. It was like 90 degrees that day and I guess they don't have AC? They do have an electric fan. But it definitely doesn't blast everywhere. The parking lot is also really small and crowded, I was here on a Friday at 4pm and we were able to find parking easily. But it definitely got crowded.

Yelp
Came here on Saturday for a Thai food street fair. I heard a lot of good things about this tea shop and decided to come by for some drinks I ordered the Thai green tea latte and a rose honey tea. I was warned that the rose honey tea is a natural laxative, and I verified that's true. Both drinks were very tasty. They were not overly sweet. However point was taken away was because we cannot request less ice for it. The cup was fill with a lot of ice, and we only have a few sips of the drink. Also, the drink was not cheap. Recommend that they can allow customer to requested for less/easy ice option.

Yelp
I've been eyeing this place for a while and finally got around to trying it. ChaTraMue is a famous beverage chain in Thailand, known for their delicious Thai teas. I obviously got their Thai tea with milk, less sweetness, and regular ice. I was surprised to see that they have Thai green milk tea and Thai black tea. The staff are super sweet and speedy, they even explained the difference between the two boxes of Thai leaves: one is made for milk teas and the other is brewed for a rich Thai black tea. The store is beautifully decorated with art murals and modern minimalist chairs and tables, perfect for groups of all sizes. They offer free WiFi and have one restroom available to the public. I'll definitely be back and try out their Thai teas with boba!!

Yelp
Truest Thai tea outside of Thailand. The tea to cream ratio is just right. A huge plus is they have crushed ice for their 'original' section of the menu. I tried the Thai tea & milk green tea and I enjoyed both of it. I want to try their soft serve when I won't be taking my drinks to-go in the future and look forward to having their other drinks as well. I have a feeling that I'll be getting a Thai tea in addition to another drink per visit until I've tried the menu. They charge $1 for ice substitutions and offer 50c off when you bring your own cup. I'm just going to save their cups for when I visit here.

Yelp
I was very excited to try the green milk tea for the first time and it was creamy and delicious (I forgot to take picture). I liked it so much that I went back and ordered the jasmine milk tea which is my go to favorite milk tea. No regret and hands down one of the jasmine milk tea I have ever had. They definitely use condensed milk here which goes really well with their teas. The ambiance is nice and clean inside. The wait was not long to get my drink.

Yelp
I visited this place 3 times already after walking around the LA State Park. I have ordered the Thai tea and it was alright. I also tried their lime lychee rose tea and they do warn you multiple times that it's a natural laxative! Be warned! LOL. I however, love their good quality cups, they have one for their rose tea series and another cup for their other drinks and another cup for their coffee. I saved the cup because it is so cute and durable. The service was quick and the place was super clean. I have ordered in person and on their tablet.

Yelp
I've been here twice and the second time, they made their regular sized drinks smaller... I guess that's the economy for ya. The drinks are good quality and definitely taste very thick and creamy. I don't like sweet drinks so I usually order 50% but they had 75% and 25% option only. I felt like 25% is not sweet enough and 75% is too sweet. All in all, a solid Thai drink spot and I'd go with 75% sweet and maybe add more water to your drink lol. This place gets a lot of business thanks to the Thai market happening on the weekends. However, the market has ended so I don't know how business will be. Hopefully it will survive because I think this is the first one in the US!

Yelp
Private parking lot. Limited parking on weekends. Be aware of night markets on weekends (maybe Friday) nights. Parking lot is closed during this night market hours. I've always loved ChaTraMue ever since I've tried one of their canned thai tea mixes. It was one of the must buy Thailand souvenirs. Everything I've had here Including Original Thai Tea, Green Thai Tea and Rose Milk Tea were delicious. My favorite out of all is the Original Thai Tea. The tea flavor is more prominent and overall flavor is more balanced when compared to Thai Tea served at most Thai restaurants. If you prefer something floral, then I recommend the Rose Milk Tea. The store also sells canned and bagged tea mixes. Price is reasonable too. Definitely give ChaTraMue a try if you are in the area.

Yelp
FOOD [4.8/5] Thai Tea. I got the original Thai tea and it was good! You can definitely taste the roast of the tea which I liked. Would definitely recommend trying this if it's your first time. [4.5/5] Green Thai tea. The green Thai tea was great, but I prefer the original Thai tea. Their boba was perfect, not over cooked. EXPERIENCE [4/5] Overall experience was good. You order by yourself on a iPad. We came later in the day so they ran out of the Thai tea floats. Since it was the weekend, a Thai might market was being set up in the parking lot. We had to park on the streets, which can be tough since there is an apartment across the street so most of the parking was on the street was full. SERVICE [5/5] Service was quick! Overall, I would come back if I am in the area, but I would not specifically drive out there for Thai tea. I would like to come back to check out the Thai night market!

Yelp
This is my second time drinking Cha Tra Mue. Today I ordered a traditional Thai coffee. Although the taste is not as strong as the one I had in Thailand, it made me miss Thailand less.
