This Johnny's Pizza is the absolute worst. The employees couldn't care less about providing quality (or even sub-par) customer service. They're rude, and they're incompetent.
I purchased two pizzas for pickup last night, and asked for parmesan packets before leaving. The woman at the counter just shrugged and said they didn't have any. (What kind of pizza restaurant doesn't have parmesan!?!?) I looked around the (empty) restaurant, and there were full parm shakers all over the place. She could have offered to put some of that parmesan in a to-go container for me, but of course not. Too lazy and too cheap. We had some at home; so I just said ok and let it go.
It was Friday night and the place was completely DEAD, and I can see why. The workers are rude and act like they resent you being there, the ambiance is incredibly boring, and the air quality in the building is atrocious. Plan to wash your hair immediately after leaving, because you'll smell like a grease trap.
Once at home, I opened the pizzas and discovered that one of them was missing the pepperoncini peppers that I had ordered and paid for. I immediately called the store to let them know that they were not on the pizza and to refund my card for that topping (not because I need the $3 back but because I'm SICK of restaurants providing rude, awful service and not being called out or held accountable for it). The incompetent woman who "didn't have any parmesan" then proceeded to tell me that I had made an error in placing my order, and that I had actually ordered double pepperoni (she actually told me that the words "pepperoni" and "pepperoncini peppers" "look similar", and that's how I "got confused"), so no refund would be given. I insisted this was not the case, and that I knew exactly what I had ordered, but she continued to tell me that the fault was with me, not her or her "husband", who she said made the pizza. I pulled up my order receipt online and there it was- the exact pizza that I had ordered and paid for, WITH pepperoncini peppers, NOT double pepperoni. The incompetent woman then proceeded to tell me that they have a "policy" that I should have checked my order before I left the store to make sure nothing was wrong with my food. I said to her- "So, I should have to dig my fingers thru the cheese on the pizza I just paid for to confirm that you and your employees actually did your job and made it correctly!?!? Because that makes sense, right!?!? Blame the paying customer again for your incompetence!" I emailed my receipt back to her (she was also too lazy to pull it up on her screen), which proved that I DID NOT SCREW UP MY OWN ORDER, as she had accused me of multiple times, and that THE RESTAURANT WAS AT FAULT. I still haven't received a refund or a response... SHOCKER. But, no worries! I'll be putting this review in multiple locations and have already contacted the corporate office. I don't want my $3 back. I want change and accountability. Lousy workers in the SERVICE industry need to learn how to actually provide quality service. I worked in restaurants all thru my college years, and I know what it looks like. Johnny's on Chattahoochee is most definitely NOT it!
My office is right across the street from this horrible place. My co-workers spend hundreds of dollars a month here, but I'll never be back, and I'll encourage them to go elsewhere too. There's much better pizza all around us anyway. The Johnny's location is conveniently located, but the hassles, incompetence, and "customer is always wrong" attitude just aren't acceptable. It really is the absolute worst Johnny's. Do yourself a big favor and stay away.
