Chattermark Distillers

Briefly: a hidden gem. Tough to find but a very cool space and great spot for drinking, learning, and being with friends and/or family. Bring your own food. Great spirits. It has a great industrial vibe (not to mention being under the Tobin bridge).

I was thoroughly impressed by how excellent the cocktails were. I sampled many of their offerings and couldn’t find a single one I didn’t enjoy. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. This place is a hidden gem!

Their different alcohols are all really tasty, and the cocktails made with them are wonderful. Really nice people working the bar, too. Try one of their ray-based gin cocktails.

Viselli and Justin were absolutely awesome. We had the “you sunk my battle ship”, Raspberry Lime Rickey, Cold Brew Martini, and the White Hot and literally all of them were incredible. I cannot recommend Chattermark enough!

Can’t get a better combination of an iconic location (under the Tobin bridge), cool vibes in the cocktail bar, super knowledgeable and hospitable people running the place, and some kickass cocktails with lots of creativity and hard work going into the end product. Focused on local ingredients and well worth the walk/drive to visit. The white rye and gin are amazing as is everything else they produce there. Try their classes too! Lots to learn!

Chattermark Distillers is absolutely incredible! Their team is so friendly and knowledgeable, their spirits and cocktails are delicious, and the vibe is so cozy! We held my graduation party at Chattermark, and it was so much fun- they made it such a special night! Highly recommend checking this place out!

"Grain-to-bottle" is a fairly new concept for Boston's distilling scene, and if you want to taste authentically MA craft whiskey, this is the place to come. Whiskey fans will feel most welcome here, but don't underestimate their Gin and "White Rye" offerings. They also have a cocktail menu that strives to provide something for everyone. Vasili was our bartender, and showed us a wonderful time. He is personable, knowledgeable, and entertaining, and a great steward of the brand. One pro tip: if you're taking a rideshare to or from here, be sure to note that they are located "under the bridge."

Found this newish distillery thanks to one review on Yelp. With the help of google maps and a recent social media post, we easily found this off the beaten path establishment. Plenty of parking, great views, and the friendliest bartender Cassandra. If you like small batch, locally made unique spirits come here. We tried a Gully Washer (bartenders special on the chalkboard) and a rye-tai. They make a spirit for everyone, but I had my eye on the rye and nocino. I also ordered a cold brew martini made with local coffee. Both drinks were well balanced, not too sweet and delicious. At the moment, you can bring your own food or have it delivered which is what we did. Ate at the bar and enjoyed excellent cocktails. Don't miss this hidden (not for long) gem!

I've never been so eager to review & provide a 5 star. Chattermark is top of the list of hidden gems in Boston. After a long day of shopping for the holidays, we closed off our day with finally trying Chattermark. We walked in to an intimate experience due to it being nearly 5 pm on a Sunday. This was the best experience we could've had. The Bar Manager, Vasili, has a wealth of knowledge of the brand, distilling process, the founder & of course cocktails. I ordered the Hibernation & not pictured an Old Fashioned. My cocktail was beyond excellent. The story behind the Hibernation is that the events manager came up with this cocktail and goodness is it wonderful with the nutmeg. We were blown away by pickle back and green tea shots as well. Vasili was beyond excited knowing that my boyfriend will be back in two weeks for a bachelor party. He was accommodating to ensure he'll be stocked for the guys' needs! I'd love to come back again for the events they put on throughout the year! Please try Chattermark! They're award winning, at this young age, for reasons beyond words.

A new distillery is in town and it's not to be missed! I first tried Chattermark at a liquor store where their employee Silvan was hosting tastings and he got us hooked, so of course we had to visit their tasting room. It's a bit hidden in Charlestown as it's located under the Tobin bridge, which gives it a very cool industrial vibe. They serve cocktails and the White Hot is one of the best I've had anywhere. You can also order straight pours. I've tasted pretty much all their liquors they sell right now, and they're all fantastic, but the white rye is so unique. The Garden Party is light and refreshing. The bartender Vasilli was friendly and gave us some history of the distillery. Check them out if you're looking for great spirits from a distillery that is clearly on the rise!

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with family and it was a great experience. The distillery is tucked away in an industrial park but it's a cool location once you get there. On the day we went, there was a vendor set up cooking fresh a few food options which added to a fun overall ambiance. They have a nice tasting room/bar area and the tour given by Kassandra was perfect (super welcoming, super knowledgeable). They're still relatively newer but the drinks were exactly what we were looking for and I can see them continuing to grow, and quickly. The only heads up is if you Uber there, it's not totally clear how to get there at first (just keep going back), and if you're Ubering to leave, you may want to walk a block or two as even when we set the location to Chattermark, for some reason the app kept thinking we were on the bridge. But this is more just something to keep in mind, overall a great experience!

Have been to 4 distilleries in Boston and 10 in New England, and this distillery top 3 hands down. A destination for craft spirit lovers who are looking for high quality, grain to glass, noncommercialized, unique liqours. The white rye whiskey is surprisingly fantastic. If did not know if was unused whiskey, would think it is Blanco tequila. Super smooth and not overpowering as many unaged grain and corn whiskeys can be. The aged rye and bourbons are young in age (2 years) but higher in quality than many spirits 3x their age. The star of the show is their gin. It's made from white rye whiskey base which gives it more of a body and not overly pine forward or dry. Have not had rye based gins to my knowledge before so enjoyed this spirit. The nocino, house made, was also an absolute delight. This is not yet bottled but rumor has it that there may be limited bottles released for sale in future for which I will fly into town to cop, it's that good.

Visoli was super knowledgeable and kind! All spirits we tasted were delicious (bourbon, white rye, gin). Looking forward to coming back and trying more!
