Boston’s Biggest Restaurant News April 2018 | Eater Boston

"One of the Chinatown restaurants that closed, this spot’s departure was part of a broader trend of longtime establishments leaving the neighborhood and shrinking the local dining options." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

They don’t skimp on meat!! Got the beef chow foon and when it came to the table, we were wondering where the noodles were. Lots of beef on the plate, very yum but a bit flavorless. I added sweet soy sauce to it and chili oil and it made it much better. Their dim sum is about $7 each which seems a bit pricey but it’s worth it when you see the size of each dumpling. Like I said, they don’t skimp! Enjoyed everything we ordered.

Went there for Dim Sum and the restaurant is looking rather run down. There were not many people there. Was expecting a bigger crowd. We got served and seared fast vs how I had remember when I went to the one in Boston Chinatown which had now closed down ☹️ The authenticate plates with their logo is still there remnants of how majestic and grand they were when they had both Boston and Dorchester running! The food quality also had dropped. I felt the Dim Sum was not hot enough and became cold quickly. The taste was not how I remember either. Quality has dropped and the prices has gone up. Overall I have had better Dim Sum in Quincy.

Food was ready as promised and order was correct. Food was very bland. Chicken wings were very dry, and so was the boneless pork. They definitely did not taste fresh. Crab rangoon was the only winning dish. We also got duck sauce, but no soy or mustard. Also no fortune cookies!

I ordered honey walnut shrimp and they brought me a plate of shrimp slathered in mayonnaise. It was repulsive, and they refused to give me something else or take it off the bill. The waitress was useless as she was eating dinner herself and couldn't be bothered to check on me at all and left me waiting for the check for 45 mins. Also the place is filthy and needs a good douching. The cobwebs on the drapery looked like a second set of curtains hanging in the windows.

Was not disappointed. Great hospitality and wonderful food. Got a chance to speak with the owner and he explained that it is a family owned business that has been around for years. I asked were they also affiliated with the location that use to be located in Downtown Boston, Chinatown. He said yes. I will be definitely returning again!

Food is yummy. Service is kinda rushed. Place could be upgraded. But worth the food.

Everything was absolutely disgusting! The lo mein was ice cold. I went in an ordered and was home in 5 minutes! The egg rolls were so greasy and burnt as were the beef teriyaki and tuff! The fried rice tasted burnt and old, egg foo yung was swimming in grease that was supposed to be gravy…No Gravy!!!! I wish this had smellovision taking these photos all I smell is burnt!!!! I would give it a minus 5 stars!!! Do Not Recommend! Never Again!

Used to be good, but it changed now. Fried food is fried with old oil, smell sucks. The waiters are unfriendly. I'd rate it 1 star, but the dimsum in morning is still fine. So, 2 star.
