"Once you cross from North Miami Beach into Sunny Isles, the restaurants become more Slavic and Central Asian, including this excellent Uzbek spot. Chayhana is named after the tea houses found throughout Uzbekistan where folks gather on beds to sip tea and chat. And the interior evokes that. The traditional Uzbek dishes include lamb and pumpkin manty, a lamb and rice pilaf, stir-fried lagman beef noodles, and a variety of kabobs. The rest of the menu is a mix of Russian, Georgian, Armenian, and Ukrainian dishes, including chicken tabaka that’s cooked under a brick so it’s nice and crispy." - ryan pfeffer

Google
One of my favorite restaurants in the Miami area. Food is extremely delicious and every time im there they consistently deliver. Service is great too and overall value for money is better than most restaurants in Miami. Highly recommended!

Google
Great place! At the entrance we were met by guys in modern national clothes, which was very unexpected and interesting. Going inside we saw a luxurious hall decorated with Uzbek ornaments and sparkling stones. I will say honestly, the view was such that I already liked the food that I had not eaten yet 😆 We ordered many different dishes and they were all amazing. Okroshka and pilaf were especially included in my top dishes. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back when I come back to Florida

Google
Chayhana Oasis is a hidden gem. I admit I haven't tried authentic Uzbek cuisine before, but the traditional food offered here is really delicious. Based on that, I would say Uzbek cuisine is amazing. We tried the traditional rice pilaf, samsas, and lamb rib kebak and they were so tasty. The Medovik cake was tender, moist, and had the perfect sweetness. We wanted to try the mandy but we could only eat so much. We will have to return and try it. The decor was splendid and it gave a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. Expect to have a service charge added automatically to your bill. (This is a common practice in the Miami area.)

Google
As a guest from Tbilisi, I can officially say that you have the most delicious Adjarian khachapuri! Bravo! Even back home, I haven’t tasted ones like these since childhood. Simply a miracle. Wishing you great success! And my compliments to the chef — truly golden hands!

Google
Pros: - Delicious food - I loved the atmosphere, the decor, and the music. There was a singing performance the night we went. Cons: - The service was poor; we felt neglected by the server and had to ask several times for water.

Chayhana Oasis in Sunny Isles is a hidden gem! The food is fresh and flavorful, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. Zakir provided outstanding service—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made our visit truly special. Highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
I haven’t had such a good meal in a long time. From manti to salads to shashluk everything was absolutely delicious and as authentic as I remember it. Zakir is the best server, very attentive with great manners. We absolutely enjoyed our time here will be back next time we are in Miami.

Yelp
Choyhona Oasis in Miami has garnered positive reviews for its authentic Uzbek and Central Asian cuisine, along with a mix of Russian, Georgian, Armenian, and Ukrainian dishes. Noteworthy dishes include the lamb and rice pilaf (Uzbekistan's national dish), lamb and pumpkin manty, and stir-fried lagman beef noodles. Yelp
Service was acceptable but did not understand why waiter tried to speak in Ukrainian and it will make more sense to have native people who has more knowledge about Uzbek food. Food overpriced nothing special. I guess that's what Miami able offer. Lastly they had 18% service charge on the check, when I have asked waiter if this a tip. He said 18 percent service charge goes to staff, employees and chefs. Seems to be owner is too cheap to pay his employees from total gross.

Chase M.

Yelp
I ordered pilaf in uber eats on a promotion buy one get a second serving for free, but it's a scam as the portions are very small. Two is like one normal portion. I'm leaving a review here because it's not allowed in uber eats, I put two stars because the pilaf was delicious, but I was disappointed because of the misrepresentation!

Julia T.

Yelp
Best Uzbek food in the area. The salads, the samsa, the Manti and the shish kebabs are yummy and taste like home. The plov is just ok- have had better (maybe can make better at home.) the staff is quick and efficient, not sure how much love you will get if you don't speak Uzbek or Russian but give them a try and enjoy both the familiar and the exotic!

Gabrielle K.

Yelp
This spot is delicious and a great local spot. It was surprisingly packed at 6:30 for dinner but we were able to get seated in less than 5 minutes indoors without a reservation. The service was ok, it took a bit to get our order in but to be fair it was Easter and very very busy. The ambiance is very eclectic and showcases the culture well. The food is also pretty good, nothing out of this world but for a quick casual meal in sunny isles it is delicious. We got the chicken and beef kabobs with the roasted potatoes and mushrooms. For our appetizer we got the pickled vegetables which are actually such a great portion and very tasty! It comes with tomatoes, pickles, and cabbage. We also tried the pumpkin samsa and beef samsa. Personally, we wouldn't get the beef again but the pumpkin was so flavorful.

Vadim P.

Yelp
Amazing service and ambience, the food was made to order chiken shishkabab we're a 10/10

Serena S.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in town! The decors are absolutely stunning and the dining experience is very enjoyable. High quality food and attentive service and staff. A must check-out in town!

Nina S.

Yelp
This restaurant is so beautiful. The service was just ok. It wasn't that just we went around 5pm. We enjoyed the Kovurma Lagman (homemade noodles with beef & vegetables) and Adjaruli khachapuri the best.

Yelp
OH. MY. F********!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME HERE ASAP IF YOURE IN THE FORT LAUDERDALE AREA!!!!!!!! First and CERTAINLY not last time having Uzbek food. Holy wow. Service was so professional and attentive. The restaurant is huge with super pretty outdoor seating next to a fountain!!!! Wow everything about presentation and experience here was 10/10. The tables outside are just beautifully painted. I wouldn't have changed a thing about the experience. Food: oh wow. The bread is $10, comes warm and is absolutely soft and has a slight crust to it -- AMAZING! The soup was recommended and honestly maybe was the best thing of this meal. Flavorful, meaty, herby, UGH YES. and the samsa????? Wow so juicy and flaky and just the most flavorful and perfectly made thing. The skewers were also absolutely insane. The rice and quail egg dish missed a little for me as it is sweet and not that salty, and it has some sort of raisins in it. But everything else was just amazing. The water is even fancy. Gosh we're coming here the next time we're in Florida. 100%. Do yourself a favor and make yourself a reservation here, and prepare to have your socks BLOWN OFF. WOW!!!!!!!!!

Anatolii P.

Yelp
Super tasty, I loved Russian food, I very recommended this place for other people. Lower price, super clean, well music

Sana H.

Yelp
JUST GO!!! Food was amazing! I'm so glad I found this place and now I feel like the ambassador because I keep recruiting different people to come to this restaurant any chance I get lol. The ambiance is great, they do have live music at night. They have outdoor and indoor seating and the decor inside is really nice. This was my first time trying Uzbek food and definitely not the last! From the appetizers I would say my favorite was the khachapuri. And from the main dishes the chicken shish kabob was delicious!!! But overall, everything was so tasty and the customer service was great! I would recommend getting a reservation because the place does get packed

Oleg P.

Yelp
Very nice ambiance, service, and food. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Everything was home made and delicious.

Marina S.

Yelp
Food is very good, fresh and tasty. Service was nice, but a bit upselling. The vibe itself is not my cup of tea: way too loud, we cannot hear each other even sitting side by side next to the door. To seat outside wasn't the option, too much people smoking. It feels more like club serving food, not a restaurant

Zoe C.

Yelp
I drove an hour to try this restaurant, and unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed in my experience. The service was horrible -- we were put in a corner and were neglected the entire time. As for food, the Lagman Soup was very good. I also enjoyed the Adjaruli Khachapuri. The Chicken Kebab was awful -- it was rubbery and chewy. The Manty with Pumpkin were okay -- too sweet for me. The only available parking is in the parking garage, which you have to pay for.

Alma Z.

Yelp
What a wonderful oasis of central Asian food!!! When we visited from Las Vegas- I knew right away where I wanted to go! Food is delicious! Service was soooooo good!!! Ambience is wonderful. Such a beautiful restaurant. I didn't expect it will be THAT good! Highly recommend their vegetarian selection. My husband absolutely loved it. Compot is delicious, lamp chops are everything you ever wanted from lamb chops. Lol

Yelp
Delicious, filling comfort food and fancy decor at Chayhana Oasis. Came here for late lunch on a weekday with friends and it was quiet. That's because most people probably come here for the night time festivities where there is live music and some dancing. These dishes were all very tasty: -adjaruli Khachapuri - indulgent cheese, egg and bread -beef and Lamb samsa - Lamb was my favorite, very tender but beef was very beefy -Lamb kebab - just really good and tender lamb flavors -Lamb pilaf - aromatic, slightly sweet from sautéed onions and very hearty/buttery -lepeshka - basically it's bread but freshly made and tastier than most stale free bread -eggplant Oasis salad - much needed freshness and brightness from the heaviness of other dishes. -medovik - not to sweet honey layered dessert -mazurka - not to sweet dessert, worth trying once -bitter tea - didn't catch the name. Helps with digesting the heavy meal Just okay: -Chuchvara - didn't have as much flavor. The dipping sauce was good. -gnezdo (meringue) Next time will order the manty - steamed dumplings. Parking seems non existent but is two "blocks" down from the restaurant.  If you drive slowly once passing the restaurant on the right, you should see signs for parking on the right. Bring your ticket to the restaurant and they will validate for you. Staff was pretty good. Overall great experience for first time having Uzbekistan food.

Robert D.

Yelp
This place is one of this authentic restaurants that you definitely want to visit, but you probably feel that you are not convinced that you really should. From the hookah smokers on the outside balcony/patio to the generally Russian speaking customers to the Islamic decor to the amazing, plentiful and varied plates of generous freshly prepared food portions, there is plenty of stimuli - and that is saying something for So FL. We visited on a Friday night and a saxophone soloist was playing with backup music for more than an hour, which was then followed by vocals with their backup. Dancing was encouraged and the colorful lights made me think of a cruise ship restaurant, but this place was so much more. We look forward to returning to try more dishes. The ones we tried were excellent and flavorful. Parking is on the second floor, and validated in the restaurant. Drive past the restaurant heading East and turn right into the garage that mentions Oasis parking, just before Collin's Ave. I'm giving 4 stars because the waitress came back only once to check on us. My water glass was empty for over an hour, and I would have liked some more. But other tables seemed to have good and continuous service, and the food and portion size all looked good. We also had the mashkurda (beef, mung bean, and rice) soup, which they nicely split into 2 portions to share.

Nikki B.

Yelp
Five stars does NOT do this place justice. Everything we had was AAAMAZING! We did the puff pastry with the mozzarella cheese, lamb dumplings, chicken, salmon and lamb rib skewers. The staff was just as good as the food.

Enma N.

Yelp
Great outdoor atmosphere, I could sit there all afternoon. Food to die for. Made great drinks. Friendly cordial staff.

Victoria G.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food , great service and nice atmosphere. I would totally come back here next time I'm in the area.

Marina A.

Yelp
It was delicious! The plov and shashlik were very tasty! Good atmosphere and service, I recommend!

Yelp
Came with a group on a weekday night and was excited to try an Uzbek restaurant for the first time. Glad that we could rely on the staff for their recommendations. We ended up ordering several dishes to share. Khachapuri: my gosh if you love carbs and cheese, order this appetizer! The menu has a pretty small version (probably for 1-2 people), so if you're in a larger group, you can ask for the larger version that's not printed on the menu. Also, my friends and I didn't know how to eat it properly, so I'm glad someone came by and explained that we were supposed to break off pieces of bread with your hands and then use the bread to mix the cheese. I'm a personal fan of anything with warm bread and hot gooey cheese--you'll definitely get those satisfying cheese pulls with this. 5/5 Hanum (soft wrap filled with diced potatoes, carrots; and onions): good in spices, I'm just not as much of a fan of the rice paper-thin soft exterior. 3.5/5 Pilaf: well-seasoned rice with savory chunks of meat and sweet dried fruit. 4.5/5 Manti with lamb: steamed dumplings--loved the soup inside, lamb flavor, and the thick doughy outer skin. 4.5/5 Lamb shish kabob: Good in flavor and cooked well. 4.5/5 Mevodik: honey cake. Of all the desserts, this was recommended by staff since it's made in-house from scratch. I liked that it wasn't too sweet and pretty light. 4/5 Finding the parking garage was difficult (you have to drive closer to the end of the plaza). I wish I had read the other Yelp reviews earlier about free parking and the possibility of getting parking validated, because I ended up paying for parking (~$3 an hour). Service is slow, but I really appreciate that staff was honest with their recommendations. The food was a tasty new experience for me and I'm glad I could try it. Just keep in mind that the cost of each dish is pretty pricey, so this place is definitely best suited for family style sharing (especially if you're like me and you want to try everything).

Cade L.

Yelp
Very few places like this in miami. Exotic uzbek/russian food. Very delicious and unique foreign cuisine. The location is great and the restaurant is beautiful.

Danilo S.

Yelp
Chayhana Oasis is an amazing Uzbek restaurant that serves authentic and delicious food. It is my favorite restaurant in Southern Florida and I always enjoy dining there. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is great. Some of my favorite dishes are the mashkhurda (beef and mung bean soup), shurpa (lamb soup), lamb samsa (lamb pastry), their homemade bread, greek salad, pilaf with lamb, manti with lamb (lamb dumplings), chalagach (lamb chops), and kompot (fresh fruit drink). Everything is fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. If you love middle Mediterranean or Asian food, I highly recommend Oasis, as it's a wonderful blend of these flavors.

Rita G.

Yelp
I have been hearing about this restaurant for years and it did not disappoint on our visit to Miami. The servers were so friendly, gracious and accommodating. We ordered several salads and shashlik. Everything was fresh. The meat was well marinated and simply melted in your mouth. The rice plov was perfectly balanced. I could easily eat here daily and not run out of things to try.

Meghan P.

Yelp
Excellent friendly and attentive service! Our server took the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations. Food was very good! Lagman Soup - Simple and flavorful beef and veggie soup 8/10 Special Lam and Beef Skewer - 10/10 Pilaf - 9/10 Ambiance was nice, nice decor.

Dmitri K.

Yelp
Food was great, friendly waitresses. Interesting Russian entertainment on Friday and Saturday. Try their grill dishes!

Sanjana P.

Yelp
Loved this place so much!!! We got the pickle platter, bread, and some lamb kebabs. Everything we got was absolutely delicious. The server was also very nice and gave us some recommendations. I have never tried this cuisine before so I don't have anything to compare it with haha but I really enjoyed the food!

Tati P.

Yelp
It's personal. With my heaviest heart:) I am finally ready not to come here again. We used to book our family vacations around Sunny Isle to go to Chayhana (from DC). I have annual family photos for at least 7+ years here. While the service is still excellent, the food is UNRECOGNIZABLE. It started getting worse gradually, but we loved the atmosphere. This time I am concerned that I am getting food poisoning from soggy tomatoes and tasteless vitamin salad. It was so unfresh. Mantu was microwaved and had zero juice, the plov was just wrong, and finally, they managed to kill Gnezdo! It's an all-time favorite. We have a mix of Middle Eastern and Russian family members. The food was unacceptable for everyone. I am leaving a one-star review as a very Red flag to management because I don't want that place to go downhill so badly. Please get back to your normal! Until then, we are out.

Bahar M.

Yelp
I have so many good things to write about this restaurant. I can't tell you how happy this restaurant made me. I'm Turkish and the food was amazing!! It reminded me of my comfort dishes in Turkish cuisine it was very similar. Everything we had was so tasty especially the Shurba soup and the Mantu!! The bread was also phenomenal it came with a bread and we finished it allAlexander was our server and he was very attentive he explained to us all the good dishes and recommended amazing plates. He was great and made our dinner unforgettable! The patio was chill and had a cozy ambiance, there were some mosquitoes but Alexander provided us with a repellent. I live 2 hours away but I will go back for more!! Def recommended!! Thank you Chayhana and thank you Alexander!!!!!

Andrea C.

Yelp
Went here for the first time last night with a group of 9, and had the absolute best time!!! Fantastic service all around. Food is a very specific style. Order carefully and you'll love it. We ordered a lot of lamb dishes for the table ( I'm not a huge lamb fan), some herring ( also don't care for) one or two other things that I think just wouldn't have been on my list of things to order, but everyone else seemed very happy with it all. The borscht was delicious. Eggplant, lots of veggie dishes, just great. But the main event was the entertainment. Singers and a dance floor. Dancing all night. So much fun. Will definitely be back!

Kanan A.

Yelp
Chayhana Oasis is an absolute culinary gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with an atmosphere that transports you to the heart of Central Asia. The food is nothing short of delicious; each dish bursts with authentic flavors and is impeccably presented. The customer service is beyond compare - attentive, friendly, and always ensuring your dining experience is nothing short of perfection. Chayhana Oasis truly deserves seven stars for its outstanding quality in both cuisine and service. A must-visit for any food enthusiast! Yum

JJ S.

Yelp
OMG! Food is great! Servers are good and very attentive. Maybe it's a cultural, but just a bit friendlier would be nice.

Sergey L.

Yelp
I like this place. Very good food and service. Only one thing - parking is not very convenient. If you first time there it's hard to find ( nearest building on north side, second floor) Many time on my way for Uzbek food , I changed my mind and didn't go there, because of parking . That is why I will give to this restaurant only 4 stars. But if you like eastern food this is the place. My recommendation: 1.Chuk-chuk -tomato salad, 2. Cheburek- meat pocket 2. Lagman - soup. 3. Lula-kebab.

Oksana V.

Yelp
It's the best place to eat something from Russian and Caucasian cousins. Everything is tasty. Prices are reasonable. I've been there a couple of times and will come more. Be careful the tips are included in the check already.

Diana M.

Yelp
Tastes like home. The best Uzbek food in all of Florida. Great place to come with friends and family. Hookah is available.

Anthony S.

Yelp
Pelmeni!!! This place is great! Come atleast 5 times a year, recommend to try! Food service and vibe all great!

Ellen L.

Yelp
Food was great, service was excellent Thank you for a nice evening we had, 4 adults and 2 kids

Eldarbek K.

Yelp
The menu at Chayhana Oasis offers a wide variety of dishes inspired by Central Asian and Eastern European cuisines. Each dish is a true delight, prepared with meticulous attention to detail and showcasing the rich flavors and unique ingredients of the region. From succulent lamb/beef kebabs to aromatic plov and tender dumplings. The warm and friendly nature of the staff added a personal touch to the dining experience.

Eduard G.

Yelp
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. They have live music on the weekends. Probably the most tender and delicious chicken shish kebab that I've had in a long time.

Darya M.

Yelp
Growing up eating authentic Uzbek food, you'd think it was hard to be pleased by a restaurant. Boy was I wrong. At this point now ive been here 5 times and make it a mission to go everytime I'm in the Miami area. Everything on the menu is a must, 10/10. The bread is baked fresh and served hot with butter. Highly recommended you start with a greek salad which is served with walnuts and a generous amount of cheese. Another must starter is the beef and lamb samsas. My mom is a fan of the pumpkin, but thats not for me. The mantu is also delicious but server plain and not with its traditional sauce (if your mom made it like mine growing up). My favorite is the beef kebab skewers. Uzbek dishes traditionally are not served with rice, but instead pickled red onions. We usually save some of our bread to eat with our kebab. Always juicy and flavorful!!! Fyi be patient, everything is made to order and cooked fresh so it takes 20-30 mins for some dishes. Some not so great things about this spot is the parking. There is NO street parking. Instead you take the 2nd right past the restaurant into a parking garage to take the elevator down to the street and walk. Fyi if you tell the hostess they will valiadate your parking and you can get it for free after you dine with them. Additionally the staff has been very hit or miss. Not sure if its the language barrier, but each time ive gone the staff has been attentive but cold/not super friendly. Could me a variety of things, but be prepared for a very transactional waiter. Only reason I'm giving them a 4/5.

Cat N.

Yelp
i'm giving 4 stars because the service was a bit short of 5 star service. they mostly have large tables for big parties, so considering they have these big tables, i guess one could fairly assume that the wait staff would be able to handle and/or accommodate large parties, without lacking in service. there were 10 of us, we came here for my friend's birthday. it was a friday at 730, so presumably they were busy and maybe a little overwhelmed. drinks came in about 30 mins, and the server was anything but present. the food came out sporadically. so, essentially some people had their food and some people didn't. during sometime around 930ish, the music got louder and people started dancing in the aisle. it was fine for us bc we started getting a little buzzed and people in our party were having a great time. overall, the food and drinks tasted great, it's really just the slow service that turned us off. we had a couple other events planned for that night following dinner, however, since everything took forever, we were unable to do the other things we wanted to do. i think my friend's birthday party would have been more enjoyable had we not been there for so long. in conclusion, expect to be here for a while and wait a long time for your orders. otherwise, its a vibe !

Sara C.

Yelp
FIRST TIME HAVING UZBEK FOOD AND WOW!!! like i said, i havent had any uzbek food before and as it was my first time i didnt really know what to expect but wow was i amazed! the food was so flavorful and loved it all. since it was my first time having uzbek food, i cant really compare it to anything else, but i will say that i really enjoyed it! i got a wide variety of things: - pilaf: probably my favorite that i got!! it was so good and I'm usually not a big fan of lamb but it was great! - fresh salad: super fresh salad and really light. - beef kabab: great beef that was so tender. i liked the onions and sauce it came with. - pelmeny: another great dish! definitely would get it again. - medovik: honey cake that was delightful. my favorite dessert that we got! - gnezdo (meringue): not a big fan of meringue but it was good! my friends like meringue more and they really enjoyed it. overall, the service was kind of a hit or miss. i did come on Sunday pretty late and it wasn't too crowded. the food was delicious and pretty reasonably priced for the amount of food. i got a lot of dishes and we all shared. i wish i had an uzbek restaurant near me because it was amazing!

Edward V.

Yelp
Excellent Uzbek food! Great service, friendly staff. Everything was so good! We'll definitely be coming back.

Abbas S.

Yelp
3 of seevants said that I have to park 3 block away and We had to walk 15 min but surprisingly when we finished our dinner the 4th servant asked if we park upstairs it seems that if you are not Uzbek you are NOT welcome not recommended at all

Alina K.

Yelp
Pros- Amazing atmosphere both inside and outside. Really nice staff. But the best is the FOOD! My boyfriend and I had the borch, blintz (an absolute must try), pelmani, bread, and a few drinks. We are scoping out places for my upcoming birthday and this just went to the top of the list! Cons: You have to know where to park. If you go two entrances past the restaurant, you can park on the second floor and get your pass validated by the restaurant to have free parking. Or you can valet at the first entrance passed the restaurant for 20$.

Olga P.

Yelp
it's a great place with live music and dancing. very tasty food and presentation! I love the teahouse and everything that happens in it

Laila G.

Yelp
Very delicious food, amazing staff, great customer service. Everything on the menu tastes homemade and very fresh

Apple S.

Yelp
We walked to this place and we were seated ASAP. Beautiful and spacious restaurant. Large capacity. Friendly staff. I ordered a sex on the beach cocktail which was delicious. We ordered a little bit of everything and it was all delicious. The complimentary bread is dangerously good, safe space for your actual food!
