Chayhana Oasis Review - North Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Once you cross from North Miami Beach into Sunny Isles, the restaurants become more Slavic and Central Asian, including this excellent Uzbek spot. Chayhana is named after the tea houses found throughout Uzbekistan where men gather on comfy beds to sip tea, enjoy snacks, and have deep conversations. And the interior here is clearly meant to evoke that, with design details like geometric patterns and onion-dome arches. The traditional Uzbek dishes include lamb and pumpkin manty, a lamb and rice pilaf (Uzbekistan’s national dish), stir-fried lagman beef noodles, and a variety of kabobs. The rest of the menu is a mix of Russian, Georgian, Armenian, and Ukrainian dishes, including chicken tabaka - a Georgian take on cornish game hen cooked that’s cooked under a brick so it’s nice and crispy." - Carlos C Olaechea

Where to Eat in Brooklyn’s Little Uzbekistan

"A months-old Kings Highway spot run by Kamol Raupov, whose family has long been in the food business, serving straightforward, hearty Uzbek late-night fare aimed at night crowds and drivers: chewy lagman noodles; platters of grilled beef and lamb served over fresh-cut French fries; crusty rounds of obi non flatbread; a variety of kebabs chosen from a brightly lit display; and standout lamb ribs sprinkled with whole cumin seeds before they hit the grill." - Tammie Teclemariam

Excellent and delicious. Thanks to the chef Kamron aka. He personally decided to clarify our taste preferences. Very tasty and fell in love with Tajik cuisine, Samarkand turns out to be the cradle of history not only in food.

This place SUCKS!!! It's 1.05am and we called this 24 hr place just to confirm that we could sit down. I was told by the male owner on the phone, "I'm open 24 hours for you and your friends (females)". I then said I was coming with my man. He then said "if you coming with man, we are closed now. If you come with your girlfriends we're open 24 hrs". I thought he was joking, since the place is supposedly 24 hrs. So, we went there and found an OPEN but empty restaurant with four DRUNK men with beer bottles out and an otherwise empty restaurant. Then the owner claimed that they had to close early today, AND said he NEVER spoke to anyone on the phone a few mins ago !!! UNPROFESSIONAL, UNSAFE and BOORISH!!!

Ordered through Uber Eats, but the restaurant used a third-party delivery service, and my food never arrived. Tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but they never picked up. Ended up wasting my time with Uber Eats support just to get a refund. Completely unprofessional—will never order from here again.
