Stoner-Themed Sandwich Shop Cheba Hut Will Open a Houston Location | Eater Houston

"A stoner-themed sandwich shop known for “toasted” subs served on hand-rolled bread, with sandwiches offered in sizes called the nug, the pinner, and the blunt. The menu leans heavily on marijuana references—the White Widow is a grilled chicken-and-veggie sandwich slathered with ranch—and features cocktails like the Hot Box (grapefruit vodka and ginger beer) marketed as “cottonmouth cures,” alongside munchies such as pretzel nuggets and loaded nachos made with Nacho Cheese Doritos. Founded in 1998 in Tempe, Arizona, the chain has expanded across the West Coast, into Georgia, and recently into Texas markets like Austin and Dallas; permits indicate a forthcoming Houston location at 2150 Edwards Street in the Sawyer Yards complex, though no opening date has been announced. Because marijuana remains illegal in Texas, nothing at local locations is actually infused with the herb." - Brittanie Shey

Cheba Hut is hands down one of my favorite spots for a delicious, laid-back meal! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was super chill and welcoming—perfect for grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right. The subs themselves? Absolutely fantastic. Fresh, packed with flavor, and generously filled with quality ingredients. Whether you’re a classic sandwich lover or want to try something a little different, they’ve got something for everyone. I especially loved how customizable the options were, so you can get exactly what you want every time. The location was easy to find and had great parking, which is always a plus. The place has a cool, casual atmosphere that makes it a fun spot to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Overall, Cheba Hut nails it with tasty subs, great service, and a relaxed vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

Google
It was a memorable experience right when I stepped foot inside till I walked out. The staff members are friendly and have great welcoming energy. Not to mention the amazing selection of subs to choose from. I will definitely be going back to try every selection out. I had the #1 white widow and Thai sub. Both were so tasty. Also, cant forget to quench those cotton mouth needs. Heheh, thank you all so much for an amazing experience.

Lauren is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve come across. She’s welcoming and attentive. Drinks are on point, service is fast, and she makes the whole place feel like a chill, fun spot to hang out. She definitely adds to the experience. You can tell she actually cares about the customers and knows her stuff behind the bar. Will absolutely come back because of her. 🔥🍻

Google
Their loaded nachos is out of this world good and very affordable. It’s perfect late night snack after a night out with friends. The vibe is also super chill. They have nice pastry options. Their staff are super friendly.

Google
This place has great vibes and good food. Lots of options! Middle of the week, there was a band playing next door. Patio seating is available with a nice view and shade. I wish the tables and chairs were not so locked up. It made it somewhat hard to position and get completely comfortable. My sandwich was toasted to perfection. The house sauce was a great Ying to my yang. The prices are affordable but not ideal. I didn't get a chance to check out the bathrooms. Which to me are a big deal. Cleanliness is important. Overall, I will definitely be back to try other choices.

Google
We always choose to come to this location because of the cozy vibe and today was exceptional enough to mention. Garrett helped us at the bar after we had really good service ordering food with the cashier. Garrett went above and beyond to keep the kind and fun vibes going and was extra attentive without us ever asking. Will definitely be continuing to choose this location every time.

Doesn't matter what location we visit, it's always delicious. Never a problem. Always good vibes and happy people. One of our favorite spots to stuff our faces at.

Google
Amazing service, amazing quality, and fun atmosphere. One of them stoner inspired places, everything kinda makes a reference to marijuana in a way. The food is phenomenal, and the service is non-stop. We were greeted immediately upon entry and they never stopped assisting us. They offered to pick up our empty baskets. I watched one employee assist a lady with their beverage, although it was a self-serve machine. I was so impressed with the employee’s dedication to customer service. I highly recommend this place for the food and the experience. They have a monthly sandwich special. This month’s was the Orange Widow (SO GOOOOOD), they also have a bar staffed with bartenders, and it seems like a good place to watch the big game, whatever that game may be. When I was there they had UFC fights on the big screen. I high-ly (LOL) recommend!

Yelp
I feel like I needed to come back and give a more thoughtful review given I've been making the stop here every month or two since I stumbled in during a Yelp event a few years back. Houston might be a hoagie desert, but Cheba Hut is a full-on oasis. Safe to say, this place rolls up a good time with flavor, flair, and just enough munchie madness to keep things interesting. My go-to? The Spicy Cali on a nug. It's basically the avocado toast of subs--spicy, creamy, and hitting all the right West Coast notes. I pass on the garlic bread, though. A little too extra--like that friend who adds truffle oil to everything. Respect, just not my vibe. What makes this joint hit different is the bread-to-buzz ratio. They've nailed the carb craft: soft inside, crisp outside, not too dense. Houston doesn't play when it comes to tacos or brisket, but good sandwich bread? That's rarer than a brunch spot with no waitlist. The full bar deserves a shoutout--perfect for sipping a local brew or cocktail while your order slow-roasts its way to greatness. Pro tip: this isn't a grab-and-go spot. It's a stoner-themed shop that takes its time, and honestly, it's time well spent. Skipping the chocolate chip cookie or Rice Krispie treat? That's a real test of willpower. My sweet tooth usually taps out. They're gooey, nostalgic, and hit just the right level of indulgence. Bottom line: Cheba Hut is the stoner sandwich shop packed with the kind of puns younger generations roast millennials for. But with subs this good, I'll wear that stereotype with pride. Even if you're not on the toasted wavelength, the menu is fire, the bar is chill, and the snacks absolutely slap.
google avatar

Ryan K.

Yelp
It's solid. I used to go to the same place in Denver. If you want a gooey, melty sub with bacon and chicken--this is your place. Everything is named after weed. A chill spot to hang out. There's a bar there too.

Yelp
When you're hungry but don't want to go too far and don't want to pay double for delivery... you go next door and Im satisfied. If Patrick takes your order and you're mad/upset; you're the problem!!! He was amazing. Very helpful when it came to suggestions, funny and genuinely seems to love what he does. I ordered the Ak 47, chips, drink and a cookie. Everything was good but lets take a month for this chocolate chip cookie!!!! This is the best cookie ive ever had. Perfect consistency of crispy soft gooey. I went back the next day just for a cookie. As Patrick said "Don't forget to download the app" you get points and points add up to goodies. Take a look at the art on the walls. From a Local artist

Yelp
I absolutely love Cheba Hut sandwiches! This was my first time coming back after a few years and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Apollo 13 sandwich with chips and a cookie. They definitely take their time with each order and it shows in the quality. I highly recommend the garlic Parmesan bread, because it adds such an amazing added flavor to the sandwich. Be prepared with lots of napkins though, because it gets messy! The flavors of the Greek sandwich are so delicious and I love all the veggies with the delicious chicken. The staff is so kind there and definitely do an amazing job preparing the food.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Yum, these toasted bad boys are great. Food is toasted and the selection is plentiful, there are TV screens in there so you can grab a bite, watch a show and have a drink too! Right next to the Sim racing studios too so you can grab a bite and head over for some racing.
google avatar

Yelp
I found this restaurant through one of the Yelp recommendations prompts on the app, and I'm so obsessed. I really love the interior decor and atmosphere of this sandwich place. I really go out of my way to drive down for their delicious sandwiches. I typically order the White Widow, and recently tried their cookies which are so soft and gooey. This is a 20/10 sandwich spot and I highly recommend to anyone (even if you're far - it's definitely worth the gas and traffic!)
google avatar

Katie A.

Yelp
I love these sandwiches. The sensi kush is my favorite and honestly I haven't branched out many times. The online ordering has given us problems multiple times so I'm hesitant to use that again. Great sandwich spot with many options and multiple sizes to choose from.
google avatar

Keyonna R.

Yelp
The theme of this place is fun and they definitely keep up with it with their food names and snacks! There's food items by the name of "munchies" or magic mushroom/power plant and they even have kool-aid and funny stickers like the rapper Ice-Cube above the ice dispenser. Staff are always helpful and take the time to describe the menu. I took off stars because in the past, the white widow was my go to. But at some point, the chicken started to taste rubbery so I switched over to the Kali Mist which is super good. Well I wanted to give the White Widow another try to see if the chicken tasted different and unfortunately it still had that rubbery taste, so much that it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I was hoping rearranging my sandwich to only having pieces of chicken with sauce on it would make a difference and it didn't help. Considering these sandwiches are pricier (a sandwich & chips cost me $14) it's really disappointing. At this point, I plan to just stick with the Kali Mist.
google avatar

AJ H.

Yelp
They definitely don't shy away from their theme, from their sandwich names, to the decor, and even the drink selections. Food came out fast and it was a really good sandwich. Can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches on their menu.

Yelp
I'm not sure why I have not reviewed this place since I have eaten here a bazillion times! Located in Sawyer Yard, Cheba Hut has a huge, shared parking lot, which is great considering parking is always a challenge around here. I love the vibe of this place, and you don't have to be into chronic to come here, and I am certainly not (but if you are, that's probably a bonus for you). You order at the counter, and the workers are always helpful and friendly. While I have had several sandwiches, and almost always get the 4" nugg size, my favorite is the Kali Mist. I have also had the Kind and the Jamaican Red. I am sure there isn't a bad sandwich here. I am looking forward to trying the AK-47, which is the French dip, too. They have a full bar, although I have never partaken of it, and usually there are people sitting outside selling stuff, although I have never checked that out either.
google avatar

Edna P.

Yelp
I love this place so much!! The Cali mist is my favorite on Garlic bread. Get the koolaid and miss the blue and red ones together. Thank me later. Love that they have a full bar and music is dope in there. Around a nice location with other fun things to do. Service is always great!!

Yelp
Updating with picture of the Still Tippin' 110% holds up, brought a friend to try as well and he had the Midwest Best and also loved it
google avatar

Yelp
It is no secret that this pace is 420 friendly. If you was something fast and delicious in this area and open late. Cheba Hut is the place to be, you order at the counter and they with give your number for the food runner to bring your food to your table. Drinks and water are self serve and all of the sandwich I have tried so far are delicious, I have yet tried the dessert here, but it looks good. Don't like the marijuana decoration scary you away because the food does not have THC in it.
google avatar

Jeff W.

Yelp
Pros: -- Cool vibe. Lights are low. The music is great. The venue is chill. Cons: -- I ordered vodka and soda. The bartender used 7-Up instead of soda, but she remedied the problem, so all was good. -- Sandwich was not particularly hot, and the roll was marginally toasted. I'd go back again if only for the mellowness of the milieu.

Yelp
I LOVE sandwiches. I love them and crave them often, but unfortunately, there's so few places that really impress me, especially in an affordable price range. I'm so happy to have discovered Cheba Hut; they consistently sling some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Their garlic bread is phenomenal, the quality, variety, & ratios of their toppings are so good (no boring or dry sammies), and the guy at the cashier has real labrador energy and is simply a delight. They have a full bar with tasty craft cocktails and have a decent beer selection, but right next door is my favorite favorite brewery where you can grab some of the best beers in town to wash down one of their truly delicious sandwiches.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday, there's plenty of parking. The decor including the murals is pretty cool. Walking in there was a strong smell of weed lol, fyi there's a THC place next door but who knows where it was coming from. Menu for this place is huge. We ordered the KBG, garlic cheesy bread, and loaded nachos. The garlic cheesy bread was good, came with ranch and marinara. The KBG was a huge roast beef sandwich loaded with pickles, lettuce and such. They also have sweets like a s'mores crispy treat, lucky charms crispy treat, rice Krispy treat, and chocolate chip cookie. We had the chocolate chip cookie and it was so good, soft on the inside and crisp on the edge. Service was friendly and helpful. Would def come back when I'm in a sandwich mood.
google avatar

Yelp
The vibes are quirky, laid back and chill. There is an extensive menu of from veggie, meats, and breads to try a variety of sandwich combos. What other sandwich place has a full bar? You order your sandwich at the register/online, grab your drink cup and selection of chips, or munchies, they have call names from stoner movies or bands, and your meal will be ready in a few. They toast and assemble sandwiches by hand and freshly slice their meats. Today their pos system lost connection to their wifi but it came back up and running in minutes. The gentleman at the front running the register was so personable, friendly, and all around great when he was explaining what was going on with their ordering system. I ordered the KGB - roast beef and horseradish. I love the spicy kick the horseradish provides. The bread is Parisian bread, baked fresh. The veggies were crisp and fresh. They also have a nice number of large screen TVs if you wanted to hang and watch sports or the like at their fully stocked bar.
google avatar

Kristin J.

Yelp
I am pretty sure this is my new favorite sandwich shop. I got the kali mist sub which was incredible. I love the added spicy flavors. What a unique twist on a classic turkey sandwich! I can't wait to come back and try other subs.
google avatar

Alexandra P.

Yelp
So I have been ordering from this place on Uber eats for quite sometime but had never stopped by a location until last week. I stopped by during my lunch break to finally check it out! I normally order the Kali Mist which is their spicy turkey club and it has never disappointed me. If you love spicy foods, this is definitely perfect for you! This time I decided to venture out (not too much) and I ordered The kind which is also a turkey club but has shrooms in it as well. Amazing! Perfect lunch sandwich and paired perfectly with the jalapeno chips. They pack up the veggies and meats so you really get your moneys worth here. The sizes are 4'', 8'', or 12'' which is a little frustrating because in my opinion 4'' is too small and 8'' is too big LOL but I do like that they cut them in half so you can easily save half for later when it is too much. The place was packed during lunch time with only one available table open when we got there (it is also a small space already) but still was clean and staff was super friendly. I love the 420 theme in the restaurant! It is unique and makes them stand out for sure. Great service, great food, great vibes.

Yelp
best place ever ! don't go anywhere else for sandwiches if you haven't tried them here yet. also the staff are awesome! the bartenders make really good drinks too! +very laid back environment, great for family, friends, or even a casual date. Check it out for yourself! You won't regret it.

Yelp
I've been to this place a hand full of times now and it never disappoints! such great and delicious subs. The combination of their fresh ingredients with delicious sauces and great bread make for a great sandwich. I usually get the kali mist and add in jalapeño cream cheese. So delicious! Better sub than anywhere else I've tried in houston.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Excellent service and Subs!!!! Went on a whim and now I'm hooked! The White Widow sub was amazing!!! I could eat one everyday!
google avatar

Kimberly A.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed Cheba Hut! The subs were filled up a bunch & they tasted so good! The restaurant was also a great place and had such an awesome atmosphere. I like the fact that there's a bar area and a regular sit down area. They are also extremely friendly and welcoming... I think this is my top sub place! (Also, drinks are unique and cool)
google avatar

Kenny S.

Yelp
Excellent service, great drinks and amazing food!! This place has been my go to spot past couple days while in town for Paintkult 2025. Also the vibe is just really laid back and cool plus the decor is awesome

Fuck R.

Yelp
So disappointed. This place has changed so much and all of it for the worst. A full priced medium sub, with HALF turkey, no onions or tomatoes, and on white bread since they don't have wheat bread during lunch hour - they had the nerve to charge me $1 for extra mayo after I asked for half the ingredients on the sandwich. Soda machine was also not working yet they charged me for a drink. Never going back no matter what
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
Order here for a delicious toasted sub!! I got The Midwest club and loved the flavor. The marinara bowl o bowls are also a solid addition
google avatar

Efrain S.

Yelp
I was craving a sandwich & what a better place to try out than Cheba Hut. Coming in the establishment I was surprised how nicely decorated it was & containing a bar as well. I decided to order the G-13 with chicken since I love my subs with delicious chicken. Upon getting my cup & going to the fountain I noticed they had KOOL-AID!! I haven't had that since I was a kid so it brought some nostalgia & it tastes as sweet as I can remember. Finally I got my sandwich & shessssshhhh it was delicious every ingredient in that sandwich was a masterpiece put together. The chicken was top notch so was the cheese & to top it off the Chipotle sauce in it was so good gave it a good kick. I can't wait to comeback & try another sandwich it was the bomb!
google avatar

Taylor S.

Yelp
I love cheba hut. This is by far the best sub place I've been to. They have a very large menu and it's more than just subs! You can go in there for a drink as well. The subs are absolutely delicious. The staff is pretty friendly. Service is very quick which I love. And the interior/menu is marijuana themed, so a lot of people love that. Best subs in Houston for sure!
google avatar

X X.

Yelp
Cheeba Hut was fantastic! I had one of the best subs ever--the AK-47. It was made to perfection, and the au jus that accompanied it was excellent. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Brett N.

Yelp
Why 5 stars? Because toasted subs should be so much more of a thing. --- --- --- I bookmarked Cheba Hut months ago, but have unfortunately experienced countless times where we intended to visit, but plans changed at the last minute. Recently, we finally made it happen. After one visit, I'm ready for two or three more. I would give anything for this to be in my neighborhood because I wanted to try so many things. Unfortunately, it's not only not in my neighborhood, it's an hour away. We ultimately settled on ordering the La Canna and the White Widow, which my wife and I shared. She preferred the La Canna and I think I actually liked the White Widow a little more. Both were very enjoyable, as was the Chiesel, which we ordered for our son, but we ended up eating more of it than him. Bonus points for them carrying Zapps Voodoo chips, serving Koolaid "on tap", and having cookies and various rice krispie treats to finish off the meal with. We went with a couple of cookies, because the guy taking our order said they were "the best cookies in the world". I wouldn't go that far, but they were pretty enjoyable once we got home and were able to warm one up in the microwave. Every place that serves cookies, and especially a place like Cheba Hut, should offer to heat up a cookie when you buy one. Regardless of the room temperature cookie issue, we will definitely have this on our short list of places to return to when we are inside the Loop!

Yelp
I just had the worst service experience here. We came in thinking we would be able to grab a quick lunch but that did not happen. It took forever to order, the guy at the counter was hitting a vape, they thought they charged my card twice(luckily one of them didn't go through), and then we waited over 30 minutes for our sandwiches to come out. We saw at least two parties who ordered after us get their food, but when I checked on our order I was told there were 4 tickets ahead of us. This delay was blamed on online orders even though I clearly saw and heard the people in line behind us order at the counter. Ok so a few minutes later the manager comes by with the sandwiches and offers us free items for the trouble. We decide on a dessert, are ready to let bygones be bygones and eat, but guess what? The order was wrong! At that point we decide to just get a refund and go somewhere else. There is a great place called World of Sourdough just around the corner. So we ask the manager for the refund and she says that she will take care of us at the bar. Tell me why she gives us a partial refund because we ate our chips and drank our drink while we waited!!! That's crazy. When she offered the comp items originally she made it sound like we could get sandwiches, chips, drinks at the bar, anything. But then you want to be petty and give us a partial refund on a customer service mishap? We had one order and you had two huge mistakes, you forgot our order entirely at first and then got it wrong. That doesn't warrant a full refund? On a chip and drink? Come on.

Yelp
Cheba Hut is a hidden gem. I truly wish they were on every corner like other sub shops. Every time I visit, I order something different and the sandwich is amazing every single time. I absolutely love the french onion soup and pair it with my sub every visit. They have a lot of vegetarian options which are also tasty. The bar always serves up tasty, well mixed cocktails and it's nice to wait for food while having a drink. I love a good theme and cheba is true to its theme in decor and menu. The service is always friendly and I feel at home when I come here. The rewards system is a little awkward, I'm always told to scan my receipt, which is a pain.

John E.

Yelp
Placed a simple order for delivery - on-menu sandwich with one alteration (add olives) and a bag of chips. For $30 after delivery fees and tip, I received a sandwich with no olives, no evidence of avocado or jalepeño peppers (part of the sandwich's listed ingredients), and I had to pick the papery outer onion skin out of it myself. Also, no freakin' potato chips. Sandwich tasted good (I'll give 'em two stars for that) but this was terrible first experience. I'll certainly never order delivery from here again.
google avatar

Terrell R.

Yelp
The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant is super dope, I love the music. The service was great everyone was friendly and the food was delicious! If I lived in Houston this would be one of my regular places!
google avatar

Ciara D.

Yelp
Yeah, this restaurant is definitely giving any other sub shop a run for its money. The service is great. They have a picture of ice cube over the ice cube maker. The sandwiches taste like they are made with love. Parking is available for free as well. I'd def recommend m. My order is the kali most with no pickles and I'm usually full after eating. They also have koolaid.
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
Great service! I'm at the salon next door getting my hair done. I didn't want to walk into the restaurant so I ordered through grubhub. Grubhub messed up my order, but the restaurant was sooo accommodating and nice. They even delivered my order to me at the door of the salon even though they do not deliver. So thankful for the team at Cheba Hut for going above and beyond. The sandwich is also delicious AF. They came up with so many unique sandwiches, perfect for everyone.
google avatar

Christy P.

Yelp
They have the best subs! I am thrilled that they opened a Houston location because they cannot be beat. My favorite is the Griefo, which has mushrooms and jalapeño cream cheese. I usually go for a nug (4") which is a nice amount of food bc the subs are packed. They also sell pretzel nuggets, which are delicious little soft pretzel bites, as well as "Rice Krispies" style treats made with different cereals. My recommendation would be to pick up a sub and take it to Holler Brewing.
google avatar

Juncel A.

Yelp
Every time we walk past this place it's always busy, so I decided to give it a shot. This is not your regular sandwich shop. They have a bar with plenty of seating. As you walk in the cashier greets you enthusiastically, which is nice. They're playing good music, although a little loud. I ordered to go and got the Apollo 13, which according to yelp is the best sandwich on their menu. It's basically a Greek chicken sandwich and we really enjoyed it! Overall, I highly recommend trying this place out. We might enjoy our sandwiches dine in next time and get some beers to go with it!
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
I've been coming here way more than I care to admit. It's near my place and the sandwiches just simply deliver. The theme is "420" friendly if you will, but is simply a series of riffs and puns in marketing. It's family friendly and still offers an adult experience. There are some parking spaces out front, but it is shared with quite a few other businesses. During regular hours it isn't too terrible, but can get busy in the evenings and weekends. Food & Drinks I tend to go big with the blunt size sandwiches, which can make two meals if you're not hungry. There isn't a bad one to be had, but the Greek Chicken, Thai Stick, KGB, Pacific Blue, Midwest Best are all great. Seriously, there's maybe one that I walked away thinking, not as good as id hoped, but they deliver. And do yourself a favor, embrace the sweet tooth, pickup a cookie. They are killer! There is a bar for those interested. I can't really say that the cocktails are anything to write home about or the bartenders having ever been properly trained, but if you want a good beer or a basic cocktail it's there for ya. Cost/value It's in line with what you'd expect. Drinks are standard as well. Service It's always been super fast and attention oriented. They are helpful and at the bar pay attention to how you're doing. The one time we had an issue that was keeping them from cashing anyone out with their tab they ended up comping us for the long delay. It was appreciated and shows they care. Overall One of my favorite sandwich spots. We certainly have no shortage of spots in the area, but something about a good sandwich goes a long way. Not to mention this is well located next to some breweries if you're looking to hop around a bit .

Yelp
I love it. I love their sandwiches. It is not Subway. It is not Firehouse Subs. It is not any of those typical trash sandwich places. It is oh so good and FLAVORFUL sandwiches. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and the Chicken Kali Mist. Both were phenomenal. The sandwiches were overflowing with ingredients. They did not skimp out at all. Their sizes are also so large. I could barely eat half of my sandwich. There was seasoning and delicious sauce on both of them as well. Their customer service was also phenomenal. My partner does not eat pork, so they were very kind to substitute it for another kind of meat with no complaints. They were very friendly and completed our order timely. I give it a 10/10. Would definitely go there again.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Been here a couple times now with friends and family. It has something for everyone in your party. My coworkers who are picky at times have even been return visitors. My favs would be the Italian or the tuna. The Dorito nachos make me hungry just thinking about them. The koolaid is of course the perfect touch. If you aren't sure what to order because there are too many choices the staff picks I have gotten work great each time. I never leave feeling overly stuffed. Cute plants and a fun vibe. Nice to potentially hang out at the bar awhile so it's more than just a sub shop.

Yelp
This was my first time trying this place. It came from a strong recommendation from a good friend. The list of things to try is enormous, and everyone that works in there is so happy. The service was great and the food was even better. I'm not usually a sandwich person, but this was more like a melted garlic bread wonder. The way it's marketed you would think that it's a place filled with edibles and high time foods, but nothing is infused and it's all still pretty tasty. I got a medium sized sub and it was huge, could have gotten the small one and still would have left satisfied. Plus they have a full bar inside of the restaurant, you can never go wrong anytime you have a full bar in the establishment. This was a great experience, looking forward to going back and trying something else on the menu.

Yelp
Great sandwiches. We were at a nearby business and, while walking in, noticed Cheba Hut. We were about to work up a bit of a sweat at a dance class, so we mentally bookmarked the spot. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly and given the option to order at the counter or sit at the bar. Selected the bar and tried a drink that if I recall correctly was called the bong water which was pretty tasty. We ordered a couple of sandwiches that were hot and crispy, and the garlic cheese bread. Stoner or not, this should be your next spot for early, on-time, or late night grub.

Yelp
I am vegetarian (not vegan). I stopped at the Ceba Hut on Dacoma in Houston TX, on the urges of my brother in Pheonix. He was absolutely Right. They make the Best Darn sandwich I've had in my 70 years on this planet. I hope they open one a little closer to the North side of Houston. And there was a large selection of veggie foods

Yelp
I'm a sandwich girly through and through I love a sandwich. And these sandwiches are FIRE. so good The restaurant is weed themed, don't let that deter you if you don't partake~, come for the food ;) The kali mist sandwich (spicy Turkey club) wow 10/10. I actually omitted the fresh jalapeños and still felt the flavor was perfect There's a full bar as well which is not the usual for a sandwich spot. I think they have a happy hour as well, starts at 4:20pm

Yelp
Got the Midwest club on wheat. Delicious!!! Some interesting options on the menu but wouldn't be surprised if they were all just as tasty

Yelp
Definitely think my rating will go upon another visit. Here everyone was pretty welcoming, it had some cool graffiti, a vast menu and a nice looking bar to boot. Came in one of days I wanted to cut some carbs so ordered a soup & salad. The only soup they had was french onion which was pretty good. My salad, nothing bad, but was a basic grill chicken salad called white widow. This was a salad suggested by the person taking my order and I was hoping for something a little more unique...next time I will read the menu because they do look like they have some interesting options. Hope they add some more soup options as well. Will definitely give it another try.

Yelp
Damn, where to start?! This is a really good sandwich shop. Seems super local and has a weed twist to all the sandwich names ( I believe they are all named after cannabis strains- I don't smoke up so take that with a grain of salt). Ordered the KGB. It was super filling and really fresh. Be sure to get the GARLIC bread for the sandwich(it was really good) Pro tip: great spot to hit up after climbing at momentum!
