Awesome live music venue! Saw the Lottery Winners at the C&G a few weeks ago now, brilliant gig. The C&G is a fantastic venue and a night out in Frome is always a good one. Highly recommended in terms of visitin both the C&G for a gig and Frome generally. Also really important to support smaller local live music venues.

This place is a fantastic little venue. It has a great vibe. I would just say, on those hot summer evenings you need to open all the doors!

Great venue, which hosts many excellent bands and artists. Loads of parking right outside, what’s not to like?

A great venue with a wide selection of events and artists. The one drawback for me, is that many of the gigs are standing only, and I'm too old to stand for 2 hours or so. Tonight's event - The Music of Peter Green - was seated, so I could enjoy a night of great music in comfort.

As ever, good venue, excellent sound quality and staff friendly, attentive and good choice of drinks. Keeping music live is a positive action, support these venues and enjoy those artists who give their all ...

A very nice example of a good quality Wetherspoons. Hot drinks £1.04 with unlimited refills. And it fresh ground coffee, Very good range of snacks and plated food. Full English is delicious, all day brunch is also a good choice. Vegetarian and vegan food are catered for. Level access is suitable for disabled folk and push chairs. There is a Disabled toilet, also on the ground floor. Parking is to the side, and payment is required. All in all, it is a very enjoyable place to visit.

Major music and family market venue right in the heart of town, with historical background. First built in 1874 as a town market hall, it is adjacent to a former train goods line, where local produce (as the same suggests) of cheese and grains were stored there. It underwent several metamorphosis - munitions store during WW1, occasional trade exhibitions, factory storage - until in the 1990's it was taken over by the District Council and Town Council and refurbished completely to turn it into a multi-purpose community hall. You will find local Farmer's Markets on a weekly basis (great quality fresh produce) during the days, and the evenings it's the setting for concerts of all kinds, from the punk/funk/rock to new bands and - well, everything you can imagine. There's a cafe and bar inside the premises, and the car park is right in front of it, so it ticks all the boxes! Check out the website for what's on, and go enjoy!
