"Naming your cafe Cheese & Bread is a foolproof way to get us in the door. But this Bay Ridge spot is also selling itself short. The cheese and bread in question is Georgian khachapuri, which they have in at least five different varieties, baked fresh every morning. They do have the famous cheese boat if you want something eggy, but our favorite version is the khachapuri penovani, a big flaky square of puff pastry with gooey sulguni cheese inside. Though it looks like a grab-and-go spot with just a few tables, Cheese & Bread also has a full menu of Georgian food, and they’re open until 11pm. Very disappointing experience. The portions were extremely small and overpriced, $22 for a very small portion is not acceptable. On top of that, the woman taking the order forgot to write my food down, so everyone in my family received their meals except me. Between the high prices, tiny portions, and poor service, I wouldn’t recommend this place. At Ronny’s Pizza across the street, you can get a Brazilian marmita for $15, with much bigger portions and excellent customer service. Huge difference in value and experience.

The best deal on lunch on the Cape. The buffet is stupendous. Full of authentic Brazilian flavors, food like a grandma would make. The buffet had ribs, chicken, homemade sausage, and specialties like avocado mango salad and fried bananas. And yummy Brazilian flan(pudim) We went a second time, and it was even better. It included: Panqueca, a sort of eggy crepe with beef inside. A perfect dish. The baked goods are incredible. Especially the Brazilian cheese bread snacks. And the corn cakes. And the strawberry cake. List goes on and on Eat here only while in Hyannis.

This food was incredible! We came in on a Monday at 11 AM and saw they had a buffet out, with all you can eat for $19. We did that and had some of the most incredible beans, fish, salad, and vegetables we've ever had, truly. The staff was so friendly and answered all our questions. The baked goods looked amazing but I didn't try any due to allergies. My family did and they were impressed. Plenty of vegetarian options. Parking right by the building.

I had no idea what to expect from a Brazilian Bakery! Wow! I tried a savory pastry with chicken and a shredded chicken and cream cheese pizza. They were both delicious! The seasoning on the chicken is unlike anything I’ve ever had, wow. My only suggestion would be to add a veggie to it, would have been even better. Staff was very helpful to me, since I had no idea what I should order! Give it a try! You won’t be sorry.

This is a Brazilian bakery. We got a bunch of sweet and savory treats, all were yummy. Minor language barriers in ordering (our double espresso turned out to be a double double), and we had to ask what everything was because there were no labels. Staff was nice and attentive.

This is where the local would go for a cortado and bakery item. I had three small ham and cheese pasties (comprising about one normal pastry) and a cortado for $6. It was a pleasure to tip the responsive and friendly staff member, who shifted from English to Portugués to Español without hesitation. Try it … or buy a $7 cortado somewhere else!

My favorite bakery in the area. Have only tried the desserts here, but need to come back to try some Brazilian food. Dessert pizza and cake was really good. Customer service was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

We had to wait over 10 minutes to order, they would not answer messages or phone calls. Pizza got delivered cold, they switched one of our pizzas with someone else's, we called, they brought ours back which was also cold. Portuguesa pizza was extra salty and the other pizza was very burnt on the bottom.

Amazing variety of intriguing looking baked goods, both sweet and savory, wonderful pudim (flan), passion fruit pudding and plenty of milk and dark chocolate temptations. The coffee is from Three Fins Roaster in and makes the best cappuccino on the Cape, in my estimation. Specialty breads, ice cream and frozen bars add to the offeringsI'll try in warmer months. In addition to takeout, there is a comfortable roomy sitting area to eat in from the menu- breakfast sandwiches to pizza. The staff is welcoming and helpful since most of the items on display are labeled in Portuguese. An English menu is available on the tables in form of a Q code. I have always been offered a sample of something new to try, which makes it a fun and tasty visit. I hope the business succeeds!
