Newer, independent spot noted by Mouth by Southwest for claypot rice, rice noodle rolls, and a tight menu of dumplings and noodles. It broadens Mesa’s Chinese options beyond the plaza hubs with honest flavors and friendly service.

Okay, so this place is great. Our server clearly knows what’s up. She was so attentive and warm. Just like an aunty making sure you’re well fed. The spicy edamame - I will dream about it for the rest of my life. I wish I was joking. We ordered family style (the way to go) and everything we ordered was delicious! The Tso chicken was crunchy and juicy, the happy family was loaded with a great balance of protein and veggies, the dumplings- mouth watering! You can’t go wrong with this place. Do yourself the favor and enjoy the comfort of a well cooked meal prepared with heart.

Chinese style comfort food! Potstickers were tasty & the skin was thin, not too thick, which I prefer. Signature Chinese sausage clay pot had lots of sausage but the rice seemed a tiny bit undercooked. The beef brisket noodle soup had tender chunks with a light and salty beef broth. Service was quick & efficient. Tables were clean. Overall, can’t complain about this tasty, satisfying & filling meal although it was a tiny bit pricey.

Google
This place is a nice casual quality Chinese restaurant! Really yummy food here! I ordered the shrimp udon and it was delicious sweet and savory!! The noodles were my favorite part they are so thick and delicious! We also ordered the steamed dumplings! If you come here YOU HAVE TO TRY THEM! They are so YUMMY! They are a must here! I think their noodle dishes and clay pot rice are the best to get. The staff is also incredibly nice and accommodating. They turned fans on and off as needed. There’s not a lot going on in the ways of decorations but the food and service outshines everything else here! 10/10 would recommend and would come back again very soon!

7 Garden Dumpling & Noodle House offers a cozy retreat for those craving authentic Chinese cuisine, though with a few unexpected twists. Their beef noodle soup, a staple for any noodle house aficionado, arrives steaming and fragrant. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful, with tender chunks of beef that melt in your mouth. However, there's a surprising addition to the bowl – cabbage. Traditionally, this dish isn't served with cabbage, and its inclusion may startle purists. While the cabbage adds a fresh, crunchy texture, it deviates from the classic preparation, which might not sit well with everyone. Despite this, the overall experience is satisfying, particularly for those open to culinary variations. For a true taste of innovation mixed with tradition, 7 Garden Dumpling & Noodle House mostly hits the mark, albeit with an unconventional twist.

Google
This place is super tasty! Prices were reasonable and food was great. I especially liked their scallion pancakes. I was also really happy to see Clay pot rice and rice noodle rolls on the menu, because I feel like those dishes can be harder to find in Arizona. I definitely anticipate this becoming one of my go-to spots for Chinese food!

Google
They have very good dumpling and noodle quality. The fried rice is very flavorful. Service was nice and attentive. The place has a nice china town feel inside of it. Almost reminds me of magic noodle house atmosphere minus the hand pulled noodles.

Google
Greeted by a very smiling woman, this restaurant did not disappoint. We started with steamed du.plings which were tasty. Then we had the beef rice noodles roll and pork noodles roll. As expected, very good but could've used more sauce and more meat. The scallion pancakes were great and not greasy at all. Lastly, we had the signature sausage clay pot bowl . Also very good but I would've liked mire sausage and less rice. By the time we left, the place was completely filled. All in all a very good filling meal...priced right!

Google
The service here was exceptional. The food was good but I think it could have been better. The two best things we got were the spicy dumplings and the vegetable chow mein. We also got a pork and shrimp rolled noodles. These were a bit on the bland side, if they had a better sauce that made them pop more then the these would probably be a heavy hitter. We also had a clay pot, but I think we started eating this too fast and should have let the rice cook some more to get super crunchy. All in all good.

Yelp
I've been here a few times with my friend and our visits have been pleasant. This spot used to be the 7 Garden Dumpling and Noodle House, but I think there has been a management change as some of their menu items have also changed. The food here is great and the quality is consistent; I like their noodle dishes and their sesame chicken is also tasty. I usually order a few dim sum items like potstickers, soup dumplings and scallion pancakes. The chili dipping sauce they serve with the potstickers and dumplings is so good I wish I knew how to make it, but when I'm craving this style of food I make my way over to them. It'll be a regular in my rotation of restaurants.

Yelp
Our first time taking out Chinese Food from Chef 7. China Express has closed and we were looking for a new spot. Fortune smiled upon us. I called in and ordered family dinner for two with hot and sour and egg flower soup, chicken fried rice, orange chicken, a super-spicy hot Mongolian Beef, delicious egg rolls,, some nice cream cheese puffs, and wontons. We added an order of beef chow mein because the Mrs. Loves her noodles. Total: 50 bucks and change. It fed us both Friday and Saturday nights. 4 complete and tasty Adult Dinnersl

Yelp
This place was sooooo good and I am so glad we made it in. I had an early dinner here with my mom and sister last week and we felt so welcomed. As soon as we walked in we were greeted from behind the counter and told to sit down at one of the tables. Once seated, the server came over, handed us the menus, and gave us water. We ordered: Egg rolls (2) Tempura shrimp (4) Spicy chili and onion dumpling (6) Beef brisket noodle soup Beef chow mein The food was ALLLL DELICIOUS. It was all very flavorful and hot. The portions were big and it was all enough for us three. The service was great and both servers checked up on us constantly. The inside was clean and spacious. I cant wait to be back!

Yelp
The food is pretty good but also expensive for what you get. We got the chili dumplings for our appetizer and the beef chow fun noodles. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was casual. I wouldn't go back because there are places that are as good or better and a better value. On the other hand if you find it convenient and aren't on a budget go for it. Great service and good food.

Yelp
Came by on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Not busy at all so we had our pick of tables. Menu had a decent amount of choices. We decided on the Chinese Sausage Claypot, Beef Chow Mein, Orange Chicken, and the Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls. Food came out quickly; every dish was well made and flavorful. The claypot did take a bit longer, but that was to be expected. It was worth the wait as it was my favorite dish. Definitely need to try the other claypots and the noodle bowls next time. So good food, clean restaurant, and great service! Will be back soon.

Yelp
Sometimes I get specific cravings....in most cases I'm specifically craving burritos (ok that's a lie, that craving is 24/7). Where was I....oh right, cravings! Tonight we wanted dumplings...spicy ones. 7 Garden Dumpling and Noodle House was near and I had it book marked so it won the contest to get plugged into G-Maps. This is a sit down spot and you get salted peanuts while you wait for your food. Service was good and super friendly. I got the Spicy Brisket Noodle soup and Spicy Dumplings. Both had great flavor, loved them! They lacked the kick I was hoping for, but both were still tasty and the portions were big. On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd hit this up again...there were a few other options I'd like to taste!

Yelp
A new spot that hasn't been opened for that long. They have a curated menu that doesn't have a lot of selections, but it has many authentic options including congee, chang fun, and clap pot rice. The portions are generous, and the price points are very fair as well. There aren't many clay pots spots in the valley, and I think they are the best I've tried, definitely better than the one that's right by H Mart in Mesa. It may lack options if you're looking for more classic Chinese American dishes, such as orange chicken. Restaurant wasn't busy on a weekday night with plenty of seats inside. It's definitely worth trying and I hope they get enough business.

Yelp
We started with refreshing lemon iced tea and roasted peanuts. The shrimp rice noodle rolls are delicious with the sauce. Beef brisket noodle soup is delicious and the briskets are tender. The chicken and mushroom rice clay pot is fantastic. I like the tingling favor and ginger in it.
google avatar

Yelp
The service was still good, just like last time, but we were pretty disappointed with the food this time around. Every dish we tried was just way too sweet. By the time we finished dinner, my tongue was tingling from all the sugar. It was not what we were expecting at all. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be recommending this place to anyone else, and we probably won't be going back ourselves. It's a shame because we had such a good experience the first time.

Yelp
A friend and I were looking for a dumpling place and when I searched YELP this place popped up. I'm so happy we stopped here!! The place is your basic Mom and Pop restaurant which is what i love. Don't expect a fancy place but it's clean and does not have any funny smells. The service was good, they were busy they kept our tea's full, they give eat table a small plate of peanuts to nibble on while waiting for our food. Food is first rate the menu is not extensive which is a good thing. On this visit we had the spicy dumplings and onions as the appetizer it was excellent. Just the right amount of spice and the onions weren't raw or over cooked. Id get this again!!!! We ordered the Mushrooms and Chicken clay pot as our main course, wow, i have had clay pots in the past but this was excellent with lots and lots of flavor. The best part was the crunchy rice on the bottom of the clay pot, oh so good. It also had some bok choy too. Id ordered this again!!!! I love places like this they do food well, and its a mom and pop place too. I WILL BE BACK!!!

Yelp
I was craving wontons and did a quick search on Yelp and this restaurant came up on my recommendation list. I am glad more traditional Chinese/Cantonese restaurants are opening in the valley as there seems to be a lack of diversity in Arizona. We arrived at opening and were greeted immediately by the friendly staff. It is clean and spacious inside with plenty of booths and tables for larger parties. There is not much interior decor/paintings, and it looks unfinished with plywood on one whole side of the wall. I started off with an order of Scallion Pancakes and Beef Rice Noodle Rolls. The Scallion Pancakes were hot and flaky. I order these at almost every restaurant that offers them because they are so good. The Beef Rice Noodle Rolls were different, not your typical minced meat 'cheung fun' at Dim Sum restaurants. The rolls were handmade with a silky texture filled with lettuce and slices of beef. Although the rolls look smooth, they were so sticky you could not divide the rolls and the fillings would fall apart when splitting. Rice rolls are best eaten with minimal ingredients, but these were stuffed with crisp lettuce and tough beef slices that you could not enjoy the softness of the rolls. I also ordered two noodle soups, a Beef Brisket Noodle Soup and a Wonton Noodle Soup. The Beef Brisket Noodle Soup had a powerful beef stock taste but both broths were lukewarm. There were plenty of vegetables and noodles underneath with large chunks of tender beef brisket, which was a plus. I was excited about trying their wontons but they were such a letdown. They were premade and bits of the wonton wrapper edges were crusty and dry. The meat mixture inside the wontons was missing savoriness and seasoning; I wouldn't recommend ordering this. You definitely get a sense of a homey/comfort food feeling when dining here, but that was about all. The dishes were very one dimensional and missing major flair, aromatics and depth.

Yelp
In my opinion 7 Garden definitely had better dumplings than they did noodles. The restaurant was surprisingly empty on a Sunday for lunch so our food came out really quickly and really fresh which I appreciated. Unfortunately nothing stood out to me and I think there are better options elsewhere.

Yelp
Tonight my boyfriend and I ordered take out from this place. When we walked in the workers immediately greeted us and our order was ready for pickup. (Not a fan of waiting). I ordered the "spicy" beef brisket pho, which wasn't spicy at all. He ordered the orange chicken, which I of course tried and it was a little on the sweet side but still tasty. We also ordered the fried pot stickers and tempura shrimp. Those were also good. Minus my food not being the spice level I wanted it was pretty good and I'll probably give it another shot in the future.

Yelp
Delicious takeout, and the service was great too! I stopped by to purchase some takeout entrees. There was a lovely lady working the counter (most likely the owner) and another employee in the kitchen. The place was empty during lunchtime. However, I saw many Uber Eats and DoorDash employees going in and out of the restaurant, and customers waiting for their carryout. I suspect most people order takeout from this place. The restaurant is quite large, so I was surprised to see so many empty tables and chairs. There were only two employees working during lunchtime. Perhaps they get most of their orders from delivery services. Try their Orange Chicken!

Yelp
New ownership & new menu? Came all the way here for clay pot rice and rice rolls to find out it's been switched over to Americanized Chinese food. Very disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
What's that saying? "Don't fix what's not broken." Well my friends, this is what exactly happened here. The menu used to be so great! They recently "revamped" everything and now they serve the typical "Chinese" dishes you can get at any Americanized Chinese restaurant. I specifically come here for Chinese Clay Pot and to my surprise they do not serve it anymore! Along with many other authentic Chinese dishes. This is such a huge let down as I travel from the West Valley to the East Valley for this. They really need to reconsider this change as I was sitting in the restaurant waiting on my Trader Joe's dumplings the next two customers who came in asked about the old menu in disappointment as well. Please bring back authentic Chinese. This was not the move.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
The spicy dumplings were very good. The rest? Not good at all, lacking flavor and any complexity. It's worth coming for the dumplings, the spicy sauce was great and the dumplings handmade. I would not get anything else.

Yelp
I would have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with 7 garden. It's kind of an interesting spot (even though we ordered to go) at the end of a strip center. A lot of the writings and menus are in Vietnamese (I think) so I couldn't really read those signs but when you are on line everything is in English. The food was pretty good, I really enjoyed the tempura shrimp, the snow dumplings (pot stickers), and the egg rolls. The orange chicken was a LITTLE sweet however, it's usually eaten with rice which would probably counter some of that but I just ate the chicken by itself. Still very good. Latoya got the Spicy Beef Brisket Noodle Soup with Udon Noodles and she said it was good but it was not very spicy. They offer the spicy and the regular and she really wanted the spicy. Maybe they gave her the wrong one OR they just have a different idea of what spicy is. Still good tho, as I said. I give it 4 stars only because on line there's not a lot of description on the dishes but as for the food and the friendly service (I can be troubling because I make a lot of bad jokes) it was a 5. Check it out for take out or you can have a seat at one of their surprisingly numerous tables given the size of the joint.

Yelp
Explored another Yelper's profile and found this place. Brought my S.O. Here, we chose this over sushi and were glad we did. The broth here tastes really good, the bowls are very large and when you think you're almost finished, you find noodles hiding in the broth at the bottom! The woman that took our order was very nice, actually all of the staff was professional and very polite! We ordered the scallion pancakes, they tasted like the inside of an egg roll, I loved it! The Thai tea, I enjoy sweet Thai tea and this was perfect for me! We took our leftover soup to go and ate it the next afternoon. We will be back to try the clay pots next!

Yelp
I saw one review saying the dumplings of this place were similar to SF and after eating here I must agree. The service was great and accommodating for my food allergies. I also like the natural lighting, and cleanliness of the place a great ambiance here. Here's what I got: - dumplings - shrimp Chang fen - yangzhou fried rice - Dumplings: good crust but not too too doughy definitely enjoyed it - yangzhou fried rice: decent flavor, generous portion, and overall a great value dish. Would have preferred it to be a bit more salty or with pepper. (They had some on the side so my initial taste review was without either). - shrimp chang fen: the shrimp fell out while eating so it felt rushed, I'm assuming it's because I came during lunch for a dim sum item so the head chef might not have been present. I enjoyed the flavor and it's one of the better Chang fens I've had. TLDR: here's ratings for the dishes - dumplings: 10/10 10/10: texture 10/10: portion (excellent for hand made dumplings) 10/10: flavor - shrimp chang fen: 8.5 / 10 texture: 7.5 /10 portion: 10/10 flavor: 8.5/10 - yangzhou fried rice (9/10) texture: 8/10 portion: 11/10 (great amount of meat) flavor: 7.5 / 10

Yelp
I've been craving chow mein for a week now, and upon my hunt, I saw that 7 Gardens had it on their menu! We love all things noodles and rice, so we added more items to our delivery. There is something about ordering takeout on rainy nights because this elevated the experience for us. Spoiler alert: This place is good! Not all chow mein is made the same, and this has been the best I've had! It's not greasy and wet at all, and the noodles have a great chew. The upon's broth is STELLAR! I cannot stress enough how filling this was and highly recommend. The other items we ordered: Clay pot: the crispy rice found in the bottom of the clay pot were in this take out box and I'm happy they cooked it in the clay pot. So good! Rice noodles: Omg - the shrimp pieces!!!!! 10/10 I think we've found out now spot!

Yelp
Super hot food with steam coming from the food is my big measuring stick for food. Very good and a great little spot that I will come back again for a meal. The quality of the food is along the best in the Mesa area.
google avatar

Corinna M.

Yelp
This hole in the wall place is very unassuming and located in a strip mall. Since it was my first time here, we ordered a ton of items from the menu. Ended up with a bunch to take home. The noodles and dumpling wraps are homemade and delicious. Great texture and yummy. The soups were huge and could have been a meal by themselves. Service was not fine dining but I wouldn't have expected that by the looks of things and it didn't matter because the food was authentic and so tasty. We will definitely be coming back again in the future.

Yelp
RUN! Don't walk, jog or stroll..... RUN to this establishment!!! It sits in an innocuous strip mall down the street from Rhodes Jr High School and next to a store called Tyrannosaurus. Don't let any of this fool you - this place is a gem! I'm going assume it's a "mom & pop" establishment and "mom" served us. She was very kind and extremely helpful. First, salted peanuts on the table. Chinese version of chips? Yummy touch. Secondly, the Snow potstickers... Delicious pillows of pork & vegetables. The wrapper was the right amount of chew. These are not your frozen potstickers. Thirdly, I ordered the wonton soup & hubs ordered the Singapore Noodles. Soup: I substituted cabbage for bok choy & egg noodles instead of egg noodles. Omg! SO delicious! The broth was rich & beefy, the wontons were stuffed with pork & shrimp, the noodles had a nice toothy chew. Hubs Singapore noodles was chock full of beef, chicken and shrimp & a nice touch of curry. Will I go back? You bet!!

Yelp
Check out 7 Garden Dumpling and Noodle House for dinner! You won't regret it! Rolled in for family dinner and ordered a variety of dishes- little bit of dumplings, scallion cakes, bok choy, beef noodle soup, shrimp noodle rolls, chicken fried rice, and beef choy fun. Everything we ordered was delicious. 10/10! My favorites were the beef noodle soup and the scallion pancakes. Service was great! We got greeted and seated immediately. The staff were helpful and our dishes were brought out everyone few minutes. We were able to finish the dishes as they came out. You know they're making it fresh! I'd definitely come back!

Yelp
Sunday lunch was quite busy and they had few large groups but we still managed to get good service and food was served promptly. Chili and onion dumplings tasted exactly how I expected it to be. Large dumplings and sauce were very good. The pork rice noodles were delicious too. Little conservative in the sauce but we asked for some chili oil and it elevated the taste tremendously. The spicy beef noodle soup wasn't too spicy and noodle was little over cooked. However, the meats including the tendons and broth were perfect and delicious. The clay pot was our favorite. Chinese version of Korean nurunggy. Crunchy rice layer on the bottom was perfect. Overall, decent meal. Highly recommend.

Yelp
When life gives you dough, make dumplings. An interesting dumpling and noodle house just opened up in the east valley and I was intrigued. I had already combed through the menu before arriving, so I already knew what would be ordered. The two of us ordered the Spicy Chili & Onion Dumplings, Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll, and a Clay Pot Rice with Black Bean Spare Ribs. Everything was decent and tasty although not quite the usual fare. The spicy dumplings with the addition of onions gave it a Mongolian beef vibes which I didn't hate, I just wasn't expecting. I guess I assumed the onions would be inside the dumplings with more on top for garnish. The shrimp roll was tasty though and the clay pot rice with black bean spare ribs had an interesting aroma. I guess I was expecting the more traditional Cantonese preparing of the dish with strong black bean and garlic so I wasn't prepared for that as well. All in all, 7 Garden Dumpling & Noodle House was good. They make some tasty, hearty dishes that are perfect for the colder days ahead. The staff here is incredibly nice. Give this place a try!

Yelp
Very interesting location to open up but it can be easy to find on Baseline. First off I think this place is great to for a dentist to clean your teeth because of how BRIGHT it is in here. Brighter than future and the sun itself. I suggest turning off some lights not only because they have recessed lights but also light panels at the same time like they definitely ballin' on the electricity bill fr The chilli oil dumplings came in a stir fried brown sauce with onions and I thought they were okay. The dumplings kinda tasted like mandu filling (frozen maybe). I think I'll avoid ordering those next time they were kinda mid besides the sauce. The Chinese sausage( and pork) claypot wasn't too bad, it was a bit bland so I added the chilli oil sauce to compensate. Shrimp rice roll was great with its nice silky texture and plentiful shrimp. The beef brisket soup was good, loaded with beef and most of it tendons than meat but the egg noodles weren't too be either. It's aight lol

Yelp
We went during soft opening and still offered a good amount of items on the menu. It was pretty quiet and dark in the parking area. They need to add more lights for better visibility of the restaurant. As for wonton and dumplings, the dough was way too thick. It would be better if it had thinner wrappers to savor the ingredients instead of chewing on dough. The ingredients were decent. The spicy chili & onion dumplings leftover combined well with other dishes. If you are not a fan of green onions, beware most dishes loaded with the exception, ironically, the green onion pancakes. It definitely needed more green onions, but it's still crispy. We didn't have to wait too long for the claypot. The crispy rice is so good! Do not expect the same rice roll as the dim sum style. It was a completely different version, more noodles with lettuces. The service was helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back to try other items!

Yelp
3.5 stars. We came around 6:45pm on a Friday and this place was not busy. The parking lot was dark and small but a lot of spaces. Their menu was different than what was uploaded to Yelp with pictures but the same items. We ordered the Steamed Dumplings ($8.95), the Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls ($9.95), and the Signature Chinese Sausage clay pot ($16.50). The staff were nice and friendly when they took our order. There was a so that came with one of the dishes and it was okay to me. It was light but hot temperature so it would be good to have on a chilly day. The Steamed Dumplings were okay and the sauce was light on flavor. The Shrimp Rice Noodle Rolls were not bad and kept disintegrating when I picked it up with my chopsticks. The Signature Chinese Sausage clay pot was decent and we ended up finishing everything. Overall, I thought this place was okay to me.

Yelp
Ordered online for take out and had an OK experience. Food was ready on time but when I got home, one item was missing! We ordered: Dumplings: not bad, standard and could tell they were handmade Spicy dumplings: also not bad Soy sauce noodles: we weren't sure what these would be like based on the name alone but felt like a vegetarian chow mein to us! Wasn't bad but wasn't amazing Shrimp rice rolls: I was most excited for this and I was imagining the kind from dim sum but here the rice rolls were super thin and fell apart as I tried to pick them up. Not a good eating experience. Maybe it's a different style? Beef rice rolls: the item that was missing, sadly Had high hopes for this spot. I'll still try it again but in person next time and try other things like congee or clay pot!

Gary C.

Yelp
Menu's changed. It's westernized Chinese food now instead of authentic Chinese food. Yelp should not have allowed them to transfer the account like this as it's basically a new restaurant.
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
I went here today with my family for lunch. It was not crowded at all, and the service was good. The staff was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The restaurant itself was very simply decorated, so it's more of a spot you go for the food, not the ambiance. We had the spicy dumplings, shrimp rice rolls and beef chow fun. The dumplings were good although I didn't find them spicy at all. But they were very fresh. My sister was a bigger fan of the shrimp rice rolls than I, but maybe it's not that special a dish to me. The beef chow fun, however, was really good-perfectly seasoned and lots of beef!
google avatar

Kristine S.

Yelp
Great Hong Kong style food! Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-made. The only thing I didn't really like was the wonton noodle soup (beef brisket one was better), and the egg noodles were a little too soft for my liking, but overall everything was good. Loved the shrimp rice roll, well made. The congee was very flavorful with great texture. Would definitely recommend for authentic Chinese dishes!

Yelp
Wow! We absolutely love the food here. Drove up to the front and it wasn't much to look at. But we would've totally misjudge this place if we let the outside determine what we thought of this restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions were huge and the staff was pleasant, helpful, and absolutely a delight. We will be back. We ordered the beef lo mein, the orange chicken like a brisket soup

Yelp
Saw this place on the news and came to try it. It was ok, not worth the 30 minute drive, but if I lived nearby I would come again. The dumplings and dishes were good, but as good as any other chinese restaurant ive been to. Basic walk in dining area, not particularly fancy. The staff were friendly and the food came quickly. We tried the spicy chili dumplings, sliced beef rice noodle rolls, and beef chow ho fun. The noodle rolls had too much noodle and not enough beef and would not order that again. the other dishes were very good.
google avatar

Tanya S.

Yelp
Food was delicious. I enjoyed the spicy dumplings just enough spicy sauce. Would order over & over. Singapore noodles were too. I would have preferred more vegetables but that my preference. Service outstanding. Thank you Nancy for taking such good care of us. Ambiance just what you would expect for a little place like this. I will for sure will go back & recommend to friends in the area. Well done 7 Garden Dumplings & Noodles.

Yelp
I was on a date with my wife and we stopped for lunch when we saw the restaurant. It was close to noon. The food was pretty good & hot. The server/cashier, she was prompt, friendly and polite. Both meals were good. The portions were delightful. The cost was very reasonable for the portions.

Yelp
New spot for us to try. The location is modern and easy to find. Service was fast and with a smile. We really enjoyed our beef noodle dishes. The noodles had good flavor and the texture was also good. I enjoyed the steamed dumplings and the flavor of the sauce it came with. Can't wait to try something different next time. Looks like this will be a pleasant local noodle place to revisit.

Yelp
this used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants their beef chow mein was one of my favorites, but they ended up switching the menu around and they use different noodles now so it's not as good and I'm really disappointed. I used to be a regular customer would come 2 to 3 times a week and now I'm not going back until they fix that and it's completely false advertising the pictures of the on yelp are not what they serve completely disappointed. I would change my review if they brought back the old noodles and updated their pictures.

Yelp
Good number of tables and the restaurant has a good medley of Chinese entrees. I really like the clay pot rice and dumplings.

Yelp
This is a "noodle house" which doesn't serve great noodle dishes. I've sampled the "spicy beef brisket" and "wonton" choices, both with bok choy and egg noodles. Worse of those is the "spicy beef brisket." It uses Sichuan peppers for spiciness, which produce a metallic taste. THAT--combined with salty broth, reddish hue, beef, scallions, and generous portion--caused a sensation of consuming an endless nauseating bowl of blood. And Hannibal Lecter might be able to stomach such revolting nourishment. My own stomach edges uncomfortably closer to vomiting the more I eat. Better is "wonton," specifically due to absence of spiciness (i.e., the Sichuan peppers) and meat. However, any noodle soup from this place is spoiled by the mushy, tasteless egg noodles. Being old, previously frozen, or overboiled--or a combination. (Even though the dumplings are advertised as made in-house) all their noodles appear to be store-bought.

Yelp
OMG. Where has this place been on my radar? I'll tell you, it needs to be on yours. I've been craving for a great and fresh Cantonese restaurant in the area, and this food almost brought me to tears. We ordered the beef noodle soup, chicken chow mein, shrimp steamed rice noodles (cheung fen), and fried scallion pancake. The cheung fun and scallion pancake disappeared immediately after our first bites. Both are made from scratch and are very reminiscent of what I grew up with. Chow mein was beautifully cooked, chicken was tender, and the flavor overall is well balanced and delicious. These are thinner egg/flour noodles, bouncy and consistent with Cantonese style taste! Braised beef noodle soup - best I've had in a long time. The beef is incredibly tender and the cuts were the perfect balance of the tendon to meet ratio. Broth has depth and well balanced flavor - takes me back to San Francisco Bay Area food! Has egg noodles and iceberg lettuce, for the perfect chew to crunch texture. Service is great! Fast, efficient, friendly :) I'm totally going back.

Yelp
Took my parents and my husband here. We ordered the fresh meat roll and the slice beef. LOVED the slippery rice roll. Taste very fresh! Absolutely recommend the rice roll.

Yelp
The clay pot rice was excellent. I would go back just for that. The dishes are not too salty. The beef chow fun had too much white pepper. We also got the spicy dumplings but I forgot to take a picture. It comes with 6 pieces. It comes in a spicy vinegary sauce that isn't that spicy or vinegary. The staff speaks mandarin and the place is clean. Service is pretty fast aside from the clay pot which requires a certain amount of cook time.

Yelp
Make sure you check your bill here. Our total bill was $63.24. When we got our receipt, I usually love how they give you the calculated tip suggestion with total. The suggested tip said 15% was $15.50. 15% of our bill is actually $9.49. Really shocked to see this. Do your own math! The dumplings were microwaved and not freshly steamed.

Yelp
First off not many places in az serve braised beef noodle soup. Flavor was great. Meat was tender. I asked for the rice noodle but got egg noodles. Still good I would have rather had some other vegetable instead of lettuce. Meh. Service was good. It's a casual place but not super noisy. I had to take work calls and was fine.

Yelp
We're stopped in many times by now, so have discovered our favorites. Mine is Singapore noodle, a spicy curry noodle dish with chicken, beef and shrimp. My SO's dish of choice is beef chow mein. We also always order the spicy chili dumplings....delicious! Occasionally, we will deviate and order a clay rice pot, which is great if you like the crunchy rice bits! The restaurant is very clean and the staff is always very welcoming.
