Where to find Taiwanese food in Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

"Located in the Spring Mountain Center plaza, Chef Ching’s Kitchen serves both Taiwanese and Sichuan cuisine. Diners can expect plenty of spice from dishes such as stir-fried glass noodles with spicy minced pork, mapo tofu, and kung pao chicken. There is also a selection of cured and pickled items served cold, including pickled cucumber and pig’s ears." - Krista Diamond

小胖川菜是台湾川菜。口味挺棒。 it is flavorful and tasty. Most of the dishes are spicy though you do have choice of non spicy options. There are lot of orders to take out from this pace. The service is friendly. There are plenty of parking space.

Hole in the wall place. Great beef stew noodle. Best in town. Noodle just right for the chewyness. The beef not to much and not to little. now the soup is out of this world. So deep and flavorful. Just amount of every ingredient to taste perfect. The fried rice fried just right. Light and cooked to perfection. Service excellent. Restroom clean and we'll stocked. I love this place. Doesn't seem very busy at all. Good for me but I hope business is good enough so they stick around. I think I found my beef stew noodle place in town. I found a gem in the rough.

This restaurant sits in the middle of many restaurants. What you order and your expectation will dictate whether you like this place or not. Food is OK. I was told by the waitress not to go by their ad on newspaper but go by the menu?! What if I am here for an advertised item that is not on the menu? Also, waitress disappears to back of dining room and occasionally come out to check. This usually indicate all waitresses share all tips collected together. A good waitress, with good waitress etiquette will not stay here. He/she would rather outshine others to make top tips elsewhere.

First of all i just want to say that my first experience here was not so great. I wanted to try this out of good review but when i ordered on 4/30/2020 my food smelled and tasted spoiled which are the chicken, and the beef was okay but its not so great either. It is unfortunately because i gave them some tip as well. overall not a very good experience and not ordering from them again.

The menu looked amazing, but I ordered online and drive there to pick up and they were closed. It seemed like they are semi-permanently closed, probably for covid.

Yelp
Great little noodle spot in the 168 shopping plaza. The service was attentive, and the food had great heat and flavor.

Yelp
Stopped in for a cheap dinner--at just $15 for a big bowl of beef brisket soup, this was a no-brainer! The restaurant Is located in a shopping plaza, next to the 168 Market Asian grocery store, so there is ample parking. (At this time, there is some construction on the north end of the plaza, so you have to enter from Jones or W Desert Inn streets.) There's about 7-10 tables in the restaurant, with one or two bigger, round tables for families. There's not a host stand but the staff is quick to greet you when you walk in. This is an authentic establishment, so the staff does speak mandarin if your English is still beginner level! I ordered the Szechuan beef brisket noodles (D2) with medium level spice--this was definitely spicy enough for me!!! The food came out piping hot and the noodles were perfect. The beef was also really tender and flavorful. I wish there were more bok choy in the soup, but overall this was super delicious and I would come here to order it again! I contemplated giving the place 4 stars because it was very hot in the restaurant. They had several fans and one big fan, but the AC is not very functional in the establishment. Eating hot soup on a hot Vegas day in a very warm room was not the most pleasant thing I've experienced. The staff was very pleasant and apologetic about the heat though and always made sure I had cold, ice water in my cup--so I didn't think I should only give them 4 stars for a mostly minor inconvenience when people might not read my long review to gather the "why" behind the rating. In summary, delicious food, welcoming staff, and won't break the bank if you're looking for authentic food that warms your belly and soul!

Yelp
One of my favorite things about living in Las Vegas is the access to so much amazing Asian food! While I have my favorite spots, I try to get out and try a new spot as often as possible because there are so many left on my ever growing list. Today I opted for Noodlehead as it has been on my Yelp list for quite some time. As it's the 4th of July, the restaurant was pretty empty with only a couple other diners. The space inside is small but can definitely accommodate groups. The one ding against this restaurant is the lack of vegetarian options. Obviously not every restaurant is going to cater to vegetarians, but I've had success at many other places in Chinatown with having a few options to pick from. I was pretty much limited to three dishes, of which only one appealed to me, which was the Tomato & Fried Egg Noodle. Note this is not completely vegetarian as the waitress was kind to ask if I was okay with fish sauce, which I am. I'm not a fan of eggs, so I asked to have that removed and if they could add some extra vegetables in its place. The waitress was very kind and said while she couldn't guarantee, she would ask. I assume they were able to add more veggies as the dish was loaded with yummy roasted tomatoes, broccoli, baby bok choy, and a mystery ingredient that I think may be a mushroom (delicious nonetheless). The broth was very deep and rich, which surprised me as the tomato broth made me concerned it would be a little bland. I did add some chili oil to add a bit of heat as I love spice. The portions here are huge and I ended up taking half of mine to go. My fiancé ordered the spicy wontons and the Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle, level 1 spice. He's usually sensitive to spice, but said he would get a 2 next time. I couldn't taste his dishes as they were obviously not vegetarian, however he could not stop raving the entire meal about how delicious everything was. It was almost annoying lol! The star for him was the beef noodle soup, he described the broth as being very rich with a deep flavor that is only accomplished by hours of simmering. He said the beef was extremely tender and well seasoned on its own. We've tried a lot of places in Chinatown and around the country and he declared this spot as one of his absolute favorites. For me, it was definitely good and you receive a lot of food for your money, however it wasn't in my top 5. Would I go back and recommend it to others? Absolutely! I just have many more places to try first. So, with that said, I do recommend checking this place out for yourself!

Yelp
Oh have I longed to find a local place that cooks up an amazing Taiwanese style popcorn chicken. Noodlehead delivers and even adds basil. This has been hard to come by in the valley and I'm glad I found this spot. The chicken appetizer is served to my liking while their spicy wontons hit better then most around the area. The cucumber fungus dish complimented all that spicy goodness. Refreshing after each heated bite. Definitely enjoyed these 3 dishes and look forward to trying out more items. Staff was nice and the food was made to order. My recommendation? Pick something intriguing and wait in anticipation. So far so good!

Yelp
Nice quaint restaurant on Spring Mountain and Jones. I have been to a few restaurants in the area and glad we stopped by here. The service was good and the server was very nice. Food: Schezuan Beef Brisket Noodle Soup Popcorn Chicken Crispy Satay Tofu My least favorite would be the tofu. I was not a fan of it, and it could be the sauce used. The popcorn chicken was cooked to perfection with crispy Basil, and I really enjoyed the soup. The beef was tender, and the soup was really hot (temperature), spicy, and tasty. I will definitely go back again.

Yelp
Food - All Im going to say is BEEF BRISKET SOUP, hell yeah!!! Service - fast and friendly fast casual Ambiance- clean strip mall excellence, hand tossed beef brisket soup (mic drop)!!!

Yelp
Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Beef Brisket Noodle Soup (D1) and Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle Soup (D2). The broth is rich but clean with a earthy after tone from all the garlic at the bottom. The noodles had a nice bite and absorbed the soup taste well. The beef were so tender and flavorful. The szechuan soup definitely had a spicy kick with more of a bean paste flavor underneath. While it's not like the Taiwanese tomato-based broth, the soup was absolutely delicious! Service: 5/5 - friendly but slight language barrier. Since we were the only table in the restaurant, she was there every time we looked up for something. Ambiance: 5/5 - interesting decor with a brick wallpaper and some bars along the edge of the wall. The restaurant was spacious with plenty of seating and very clean overall. Value for price: 5/5 - delicious noodles, great soup, tender beef, and quick service. Will definitely do again! SO rates this place above Magic Noodle and Shang Artisan Noodle.

Yelp
I probably had the best noodles and soup at this place. Ordered the Beef Noodle Soup and Chongqing Style Spicy Noodle. Both of the items were very flavorabe and the noodles had a great texture. Be careful of the chongqing noodles, it was very super spicy! I think I burned my taste buds after eating that. lol Definitely a must if you want some down home noodles and soup.
google avatar

Lily L.

Yelp
Great noodle soup! The noodles are actually made in house, so definitely had a toothy texture. The beef noodle soup broth was excellent, the beef was well done. Could have used a few more bok Choi veggies, but over a great bowl of hearty beef noodle soup. The staff was great and very attentive, refilling our water several times.

Yelp
Noodlehead is in a plaza in Chinatown and looks very unassuming from the outside. I think Noodlehead is my go to over Magic Noodle. What I love about Noodlehead is the consistency in quality and taste. Food: I have ordered the chicken potstickers, scallion pancake, beef roll, and popcorn chicken to start. All are amazing and tasty options. They taste fresh and good. For entrees, the dan dan noodle is my favorite noodle dish. The portioning is great at noodlehead. It is extremely tasty, decently spicy and filling. It is pretty saucy, I will ask for less sauce next time. Also, Dan Dan noodles can be dry at other restaurants, Noodleheads take on the dan dan noodle is soupy but nonetheless yummy. The service is always quick and easy. I like that the parking lot is huge and there's always ample parking compared to other parking lots in Chinatown.

Yelp
Friendly service. Always kept our waters topped off. Easy to order using the QR code to access the menu. Physical menus were also brought to the table without having to ask for them. Food came out maybe 15 minutes after ordering, but I'm the mean time, wasn't entirely sure that the order had gone through aside from a brief confirmation message that came through on the website before disappearing shortly after. The spiciness levels in the 3 bowls of noodles ordered were the appropriate levels. "Extra spicy" was flavorful but not overly hot. Would come back in the future, the prices were too high as compared to competitors in the Sprint Mountain area. Cool, chill interior with lively vibe. Lots of conversations you can eavesdrop on if you really wanted to within the restaurant haha.

Yelp
Another great dining experience at this little gem. Food is so delicious. We had the shrimp chow mein, egg fried rice, spicy won tons, and shrimp tempura. We got seated immediately, and service is friendly and attentive. Most definitely a place to try if you are in the mood for asian food and we will be back.

Yelp
Noodlehead is one of our favorite noodle spots. They offer online ordering which is a plus for us. So easy & convenient. Items tried and liked (so far): Beef Brisket Noodle Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle Malaysian Curry Chicken Noodle Yibin Burning Noodle Ground Beef with Pepper Noodle Dan Dan Noodle Popcorn Chicken Onion Pancake Spicy Pork Wonton House made Lemongrass Tea Food is delicious and consistent. Interior is nice & clean. Employees are always nice. Parking is plentiful. Hope you decide to check them out :)

Yelp
everything was extremely tasty & fresh. the dishes were full of flavor & it was a good substitute for shang noodle. the broth was packed with flavor. the beef brisket was tender. the dan dan noodles were a bit oily. would definitely come back.

Yelp
Noodlehead is amazing! We ordered delivery, and I can't stop thinking about how delicious everything was. Each dish was a hit, and we would definitely order them again. The black fungus and cucumber salad was a fresh and refreshing addition to our meal. The spicy wontons were a standout and full of flavor. The Szechuan beef brisket noodle soup was the perfect level of spiciness and incredibly delicious. And the Malaysian curry chicken noodle soup had the most flavorful and rich broth. If I had to pick my top two favorites, it would be the Malaysian curry noodle and the black fungus salad, both of which were unique and absolutely scrumptious.

Yelp
Mood- Goldilocks and the 3 Bears Friday night ideas. Sometimes you have to really plot and plan your adventures to accomplish the goal. I had 3 ideas in mind. Each one proved busier than the first. Why was the 3rd idea just right? No long line, and was able to satisfy my hangry very quickly. Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered over to a table. Menus were given and drink order was taken. I was excited at this point. Opted for the Beef Brisket, chicken Pot stickers, and of course that Beef Chow Mein again. Can I say it was consistent after a year? 100%. Can I say the entire meal was fabulous. 100% goodness it hit the spot. Interior is a good size. It can accommodate small to larger parties. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background. Our server was very friendly and courteous. Would most def recommend- pricing is very reasonable for quality and portions. The customer service was on point. I love great customer service. Makes you want to come back. Location is Spring Mtn/Jones- ample parking

Yelp
I had reservations although restaurant was pretty empty that we really didn't need anything. Everything we ordered was delicious starting with the calamari had some heat but was light, crunchy and seasoned perfectly. Beef brisket noodle soup was very tasty and was a pretty large portion. I added tendons yum my favorite. The spicy wontons were good but I expected much more based on the reviews. Good meal, good prices and easy peasy last minute meal.

Yelp
We were able to seat ourselves very quickly. We ordered fairly quickly and food was brought out ima timely manner. I was disappointed with the service because when I asked for sweet and sour sauce to go with the popcorn chicken the woman seemed annoyed I was asking for something extra. I let it. Then when I asked for a fork to eat my food the woman seemed annoyed and said I could use the fork the plate came with. My friend and I were sharing all the dishes we ordered so this meant whenever we wanted to grab more food we'd be using our silverware that we already had in our mouths. Since she seemed bothered again. Overall the food was pretty tasty but I will not go back because I seemed to inconvenience the waiter when I asked for anything extra.
google avatar

Sarii J.

Yelp
Great service, very nice people. Clean place. I tried the dan dan noodles which was a 4/5 a little to "soupy" for me when I was expecting dry noodles otherwise was pretty good. If you havnt tried Dan Dan before just be aware that there is usually a "tingling buzzy sensation" in your mouth after this dish which I believe is due to the sichuan peppercorns so don't be alarmed.

Yelp
Ok I don't always give a three star, but tbh this place did not satisfy. My family ordered popcorn chicken, calamari, beef noodle soup, house fried rice, and beef chowmein. First ones to come out was the popcorn chicken and calamari. They didn't really have much of a flavor and didn't come out entirely hot. Then our food came out about 30 mins after the appetizers. Which I thought was a bit long of a wait. The soup was decent. The fried rice and chow mein was so salty. I was so disappointed to find it so salty . I wanted to love this place as it has great reviews on Yelp. But the saltiness was too much. I couldn't quite enjoy my dinner and felt disappointed. The service here was average ish. Not sure if I'd go back to try again.

Yelp
Their food is simple but excellent. I've returned to this place many times and have not been disappointed yet

Yelp
This place is a little hidden gem tucked inside the 168 Market plaza next to a sushi / grill restaurant. It's small but cozy inside. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was not busy at all. I was served quickly by a nice woman who may actually be the owner or family member of the owner. For appetizers I got the tofu satay and spicy wontons which I forgot to take a picture of but BOTH were so delectable. The fried tofu soaked in satay kept its crunchiness and what surprised me was it was actually filled inside with veggies like green onions and bean sprouts. The satay sauce was so flavorful, it might be the best I've ever had in the city. The wontons were great but it was really the spicy sauce that made it stand out. It was the perfect combo of spice and sourness from the vinegar but it was well made. I thoroughly enjoyed both of these dishes. For the main course I ordered the beef shank noodle soup and Dan Dan noodles. To me the Dan Dan was slightly salty albeit the chewiness of the noodles and distant creaminess made it somehow work for me. It has to be my least favorite of the dishes I ordered. The beef noodle was immaculate though. The soup was light but flavorful and the fresh veggies really complimented the dish because it was beefy but in the best way I can describe. Prices were also fair and I think this is such a great spot to try and you may love it!

Yelp
We have tried Noodlehead last couple of times we've been to Vegas and neither time disappointed. Absolutely delicious noodle dishes. The ladies working there are so friendly and we also loved that it is family-owned. It is not as crowded as some of the other Asian places in the area, so it might still be a hidden gem. You have options of noodle dishes but also many other amazing dishes with varying degrees of spice. If you are in this area of Vegas, try this place out.
google avatar

Hannah N.

Yelp
Came in for a quick bite after landing into town. The interior is welcoming with a good amount of seating. We snagged the last table available as they were busy with a lunch rush. A pleasant young lady gave us a rundown of the popular dishes and stated that they make their noodles fresh daily. We ordered the Dan Dan noodles, Yibin Burning noodles, and beef brisket noodle soup. We also ordered spicy pork wontons as an appetizer which I found just ok. My Dan Dan noodle dish however was delicious. The noodles were bouncy and tender and the sauce was full of flavor and coated the noodles well. I got a taste of the Yibin burning noodles and whoa did that pack a spicy kick. The beef brisket noodle soup was tasty with tender pieces of meat. Prices were fair and service was great despite being busy. We left with happy tummies.
google avatar

Eric Z.

Yelp
Authentic and best noodle place in Vegas hands down. Loved the Szechuan chicken with chili oil. The Szechuan beef brisket noodle and Yibin burning noodle were delicious. Staffs are super friendly. Will definitely go there again to try out their other dishes. The food was so good, by the time I remembered to take a picture, everything was gone already. LOL
google avatar

Yelp
I got medium spicy pork wontons and they were so delicious. The waitress was nice and I didn't wait long.

Yelp
Omg this place is delicious and a place I would keep coming back to. We had a party of 8 and so we got to try a bunch of items! The fried rice was the first to be consumed the quickest haha. Here are my highlights: Tofu: cooked perfectly and crispy on outside and soft and warm on the inside with the marinade drizzled all over. Szechuan beef brisket noodles: we added tendons and the amount of tendon was super generous and they were so good. Mung bean noodles: I get this every time the restaurant serves this and they do it right here and you won't be disappointed. All in all, serving sizes are really generous and if you can go with a big group and taste everything, that would be awesome. But great for just a couple to go too and get 2-3 items!
google avatar

Yelp
Great customer service, very clean, the food is AMAZING. Great portion and taste. You should definitely try the fungus and cucumber salad .
google avatar

Harlee S.

Yelp
Good food and the portions are huge for such cheap prices. Chicken Pot Stickers. A good starter with a tasty, sweet dipping sauce. Vegetable Fried Rice. A good enough flavor that I didn't need to use soy sauce. It was a literal mound of fried rice. Noodlehead is a great place to stop if you're not into Vegas crowds and also not sacrificing flavor.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow I'm so glad I came across this place. Food is amazing! Service is a bit slow but they are very friendly. Szechuan beef brisket noodle level 2 spice - tender beef with the most flavorful broth. I devoured the whole bowl which is saying something bec soup tends to fill me up pretty quickly and I stop when the proteins gone. But it was so good, I had to keep going! Popcorn chicken - great crunch, perfectly fried and seasoned. Delicious! You can't go wrong ordering this. Onion pancake - had a great crisp without being overly oily. Spicy wontons - delicious with a good kick and flavorful filling. Egg fried rice - my fiancé wanted more salt or soy sauce in the rice but I thought it was prepared well. Eat it with the popcorn chicken and yum! All in all, amazing food with decent prices and portions, friendly service, and cute atmosphere. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to family/friends. This just might be my new favorite!
google avatar

Bryan H.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING and it's got very affordable prices! We went for lunch and it wasn't too crowded, so we got seated right away! The food hit after a long night of partying before. We did a mix of family style for some appetizers but each ordered our own entrees- and I'm very happy that we ordered the amount that we did. The place was well kept by all the Chinese aunties and they made sure were were fed quickly and did not leave hungry!
google avatar

Leilanie T.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I'm biased and don't crave these type of noodle soups. We ordered the brisket soup and some beef rolls. Two of each. My family devoured the rolls. It was absolutely delicious. Ask for it to be extra crispy. The second order wasn't as crispy as the first but still so good! I would go here just for that The soup was also delicious. Still won't crave it. But good portion size for the price. I was able to share a bowl with my two kids. And we were all satisfied. Service was good. Establishment clean. Ambiance was chill. Very family friendly.

Yelp
Cold Vegas evenings call for warm comfort food, so we stumbled upon this place that boasts authentic Asian flavors. As we walked in, there were some tables occupied, but not quite at 1/2 capacity. The owners were very welcoming and sat us right away. Looking over the menu, a couple of things stood out. We didn't want to over order since the hotel didn't have a fridge or microwave for leftovers. So we stuck with 2 items. One was their ground beef pepper noodle. Inquiring about it, it's supposed to be a numbing Szechuan type of dish. It turns out to be a bit dull. Besides the the mild spice and numbing peppers,'there wasn't much else. We actually felt it needed more salt or something to bring out its hidden flavor. The ground beef pieces were very dry & tough. 2.5/ 5 Another was their chef recommended; Mongolian chow mein. Since I've never seen that before, I went with it. The flavor was decent with a slight sweetness to it, but the noodles looked like spaghetti, round and missing that Q (chew) 3/5 Looking around, I noticed in the entire restaurant, we were the only Asians. Then the owner asks if we're visiting, and how we found them. Maybe I'm thinking too much but are they not used to seeing Asians go in there? Anyway, for a western palate, the food here might be very tasty, like a Panda Express noodle joint. But for me, who had some very good noodles in the SGV of LA, I found it lacking. I give the food a 3/ 5 but bumping up to 4 for the warm service, the cleanliness of the place and how quickly the food came out. Noodlehead is worth a visit, especially to support a nice family run business, just don't expect the 'authentic' flavors.
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
Hello, I am a Los Angeles native who grew up eating the most authentic Chinese food. We tried only the brisket noodle and it was 9/10 if not 10/10. Flavor was solid, beef was tender, and the noodles had the right amount of chew/bounce as they were handmade. The place is family owned and they're a nice bunch. Made sure we were happy with the food and we got to ask them- turns out they got recipes from their hometown in China
google avatar

Judy G.

Yelp
This place was meh... Shang Noodle was a 2 hour wait and we came to noodlehead as an alternative for my craving of beef noodle soup. Looks like a mom and pop shop and I ordered the beef noodle soup and it did not hit the spot. The soup wasn't that flavorful and the whole meal was just okay....
google avatar

Diane S.

Yelp
Try their tomato egg noodles as it's the best version of this dish in town. It's not the typical crowded noodle house but the food is delicious! You can get non-spicy version of the spicy dishes like pickled fish noodles as well. Their fried egg is amazing.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday at around 5pm and there was only one other party inside eating. The staff on shift were attentive and took our drink and food orders. The food was made fresh and came out hot. Like, very hot! Expect to wait at least 10-15 min. I opted for the chicken and mushroom soup, while my husband got their beef brisket soup. We also ordered their onion pancake. My soup was just okay, but my husband absolutely loved his. He will probably order the Szechuan one next. I really liked the onion pancake. I know Trader Joe's has one which is pretty good, but theirs is better. At one point we were the only patrons in the establishment which was a bit weird. They had 4 staff quietly standing/sitting in the back keeping tabs on the restaurant floor which, idk, it was kinda awkward. However, they were professional and weren't on their phones or being loud talking amongst themselves which was nice. I'd go again.
google avatar

Dalan C.

Yelp
Really liked the food here. The scallion pancake was tasty, but not greasy (it's hard to find a good one) 9/10. Popcorn chicken was cooked well and came with a lot of basil, I was hoping for a taste more like Taiwanese boba shop places, but still tasty 8/10. Fried calamari was decent with the same seasoning as the popcorn chicken 7/10. Beef brisket noodle soup for the win! Beef was so tender and delicious, noodles had the perfect chew, would order again and again 9.3/10. The last dish was Yibin dry noodle (peanuts, ground pork, peppers, and pickled vegetables) another good dish and not overly peanutty 7.8/10.
google avatar

Melanie B.

Yelp
Tried this place out with a few friends and the taste was on point. My fave of the night was the Dan Dan noodles. I just can't resist that "numb tung" sauce. Umami laden spicy noodles in the mouth...what's not to like? Their green scallion pancake came with no sauce. We asked. "No sauce" necessary she said. We doubted, we ate, we became believers. Get it and see for yourself. The only dish that was just "ok" was the popcorn chicken. Wish they had made them much crispier. Those Dan Dan noodles though...so gooood.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Friendly service, clean atmosphere, fresh food with great flavors. Prices were average with the area. We ordered the calamari appetizer followed by house chow mein and beef with broccoli. All the dishes were packed with flavor! The calamari was prepared in a tempura type batter that was light and crispy. The noodles are handmade and the beef was sweet and tender. The house-made chili sauce was the perfect side to the meal!!

Yelp
Located in Spring Mountain Center, across Jones Boulevard from EDO, SeaFresh and China Mama, Noodlehead has quietly been earning a reputation thanks to handmade Noodles and Asian small plates offered at bargain prices with exemplary customer service. Offered at a range of spice-levels, Malaysian Curry using Coconut Milk to keep Chilies in check, Dan Dan Noodles come tingly but not fiery in a huge bowl for just $10.95 while similarly priced Chow Mein performs well for more timid palates. Adding Chinese Beef Rolls that come densely packed with Meat but no grease "Spicy Wontons" arrive afloat in in Chili Oil with delicate Noodles loosely adherent so as to absorb every last drop. Open for lunch and dinner daily Noodlehead offers exceptional handmade Noodles, bright flavors, bargain prices and impressive service across a diverse menu from which almost anyone can find something to suit their tastes.

Yelp
The "tapas" are fantastic. The noodles are good, but the soups can't compare to Shang Artisan Noodle. At least for our table of white people, the one-chili dishes were actually one chili; just a pleasant heat that even the non-spicy diners enjoyed. Fave tapas included the cucumber and black fungus salad, chicken in chili oil, fish balls in satay sauce, and stuffed fried tofu. I would eat a cardboard box with that satay sauce. The signature lemongrass and barley drink is delicious and lightly sweet. Definitely give it a try!

Yelp
A HOLE IN THE WALL HIDDEN GEM. I called in to ask for a wait time for 7 people, and the lady on the phone told me to come and that she would set up the table for me right away. When we got there, we already had a table set for us, which was so sweet of her. The beef noodle soup - 10/10, the star of the show. It was so so so good, perfectly seasoned, such a great recovery meal. The beef was tender and melted in your mouth. You aren't able to adjust spice on this, so if you wanted spicy, you'd have to get the Schezwan Beef Noodle Soup, which is pretty freaking spicy, so definitely not for someone who can't handle spice. The Dan Dan noodles were also really good, 8/10, not too peanut-y which is my personal preference. I really enjoyed it! The calamari - 10/10, you must get this. My friends and I finished this within a few minutes because it tasted so fresh, the batter was so light, and the addition of the spring onions and chili on top was chef's kiss. The spicy wontons were also pretty good, 7/10. Not my favorite, but I'd eat it again. The scallion pancakes, 8.5/10. I really liked it, wasn't too oily and had good flavor and texture. The beef rolls, 6.5/10, not bad, but I think because I was too busy eating the beef noodle soup, by the time I got to this, it was already cold and just whatevers. The service was so good, the food was so good; overall, just a really good experience. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Vegas.

Yelp
A Monday night was slow so the service was quick and the food was amazing. We had the tofu appetizer and then chicken mushroom noodles and Dan Dan noodles. Both were amazing! Topped it off with a little mochi.

Yelp
Amazing hand pulled noodles. The pork wonton appetizers are the best pork wontons I've ever had. Yum.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while visiting Vegas. The restaurant was able to accommodate to my very large party and they were so kind and attentive. I ordered the beef brisket soup and their flavors were rich and flavorful! The Yibin Burning Noodle was a slow burning spice, but I couldn't stop eating! I look forward to coming back here next time I am out in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Noodlehead is a new-ish restaurant, only open under a year, and gaining lots of popularity through social media! I found them while looking for a fresh hand made noodle restaurant and they definitely didn't disappoint. They have lots of items to choose from on their menu from their noodle soups, to their dry noodles and the hot and cold appetizers. I came in with my husband and my son on a busy Sunday evening. The restaurant was pretty full but thankfully we were able to snag a table. The servers were very sweet and did a great job helping us out a bit with the menu, as we aren't familiar with some of the more regional items. You can tell they are very passionate about what they sell! They explained to us that the noodles are hand made in store, fresh every day, and that their soups boil for over 24 hours to achieve maximum flavor. We were a little intimidated by the spice levels of some of the menu items, but thankfully we had the option to make them mild if needed. We ordered some of their most popular appetizers: the potstickers, popcorn chicken, and the spicy wontons. For our entrees we got the Yibin Burning Noodles and the Szechuan Beef Brisket soup. While we were there, there was a big party as well (at least 10 people), and even then, the kitchen did a great job getting food out to us in a timely manner, we were really impressed! Our appetizers came first. The potstickers were nice and crispy and had a great chicken filling and we loved the sauce that it came with. The spicy wontons were delicious! They are sitting in chili oil that adds lots of flavor and a good spice. The bowl is small but it's still a good portion! The popcorn chicken appetizer was definitely my favorite. Small pieces of chicken fried to perfection with the most amazing seasoning on it. The seasoning made all the difference, it adds a good kick without being too spicy. The flavor was super addicting. Almost got another order all for myself!! I got the Yibin burning noodles. It was super aromatic and had a chili oil base with peanuts and pickled vegetables. I loved it! Definitely worth trying if you're looking for something new. My husband got the Szechuan beef brisket soup. It was a huge portion!! We ordered the soup mild and it came out perfect. The broth had so much flavor and the noodles had a great "chew" to them, you can tell that their noodles are hand made!! Overall, we loved our experience at Noodlehead. From the great food to the friendly service, we were thoroughly impressed with it all. We can definitely say we are Noodleheads now!! Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
This was on my go to list in Vegas and this place did not disappoint me. My parents got the beef noodle soup and the spicy wanton. The spicy wanton looked spicy but it wasn't spicy. The beef noodle soup was huge enough for two people. The beef was very tender. The best appetizer was the satay tofu and it was soooo good and the veggie egg rolls were delicious also. I got the veggie chow mein and I thought it was okay. I would definitely get the satay tofu and the veggie egg rolls next time in Vegas. The staff were very nice and they were fun to talk to. The place is very nice and there is 168 Market at the same shopping center. After eating you can go to 168 and check out their bakery section for desserts.

Yelp
Very delicious, one of the best meals I had in Vegas. Definitely go for the spicy appetizer options, the broths for the soups are amazing, and take note of the thumbs up throughout the menu, would stick to those for sure.
