Delicious Ecuadorian food with friendly and eager small family food truck. They have a wide and varied menu of all types of popular stews, soups, side dishes, and drinks (morochos) and more! Though admittedly these local spot in Ridgewood now has numerous, delicious Ecuadorian vendors, Chef Elsa is pretty darn good and worth a stop. I have had mainly a few different secos and grilled meats, and love the seasoning and textures (desirably chewy and tender).
Though mostly take out, they have basic set up of plastic chairs and tables for those, like me, who are so eager and famished and want to eat on the spot.
To my knowledge, none are proficient in English, but they will try their best to communicate if you don't know any Spanish. I use a free translation app on my phone to help.
