Google
Ghandar was my server. He was very helpful and attentive. He has a good energy and very kind!! I had the candied bacon cobb salad and it was very good. I also had the cookies and ice cream desert and the cookies were fresh and warm and the ice cream was very smooth and delicious!!

The food here is pretty expensive. My burger was really overcooked and tasted burnt. The amount of fries that they give you isn’t a lot either. Service wasn’t the best and the food took about 30-40 minutes to come even though the other tables next to us got theirs and ordered way after us.

Google
i ordered guacamole and the bartender legitimately had no idea what I meant. We finally figured out the miscommunication was that it says “chips and guac” on the menu. 15 minutes later he dropped off the plate in the picture stating, “here is your chips and guac.” What am I missing? Is this an alternate timeline where avocados are tomatoes? Why did this take 15 minutes? Is this REALLY 14 dollars? Am i being punked? I honestly need someone to help my brain process this.

Good experience and wonderful service from Meseret. Food was hot when served and Meseret was very attentive. Will be sure to visit again on future trips. Located near gate C14 Dulles

Google
I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you’re stopping over in Dulles! Eric in the kitchen is completely fantastic and Samrawit was an excellent server explaining the menu to perfection! I will definitely return.

Google
We had the Korean Cauliflower, sweet potato fries and candied bacon Cobb salad. This food was the best food we had in days….even though we came from a 5 star luxury resort! Tarik’s was our server and she was SO attentive and brought us everything we asked for right away (and we had multiple requests)! Highly recommend this place, it was just what we needed after a long day of flight delays and still 8 hours of travel ahead of us. Thank you, Chef Geoff’s!!

Google
I ordered the lobster roll, but I was given seafood salad without warning. That is not only costly fraud but also potentially dangerous. Saw on this review site that this has been going on for some time. Pick another restaurant.

Had a wonderful experience thanks to Heledana’s excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Her warm attitude truly elevated our visit. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I haven't been to Chef Geoff's in forever...years. Tonight we ended up there and the amazing "Hazel" helped us, she was kind, helpful and had service with a smile. The food was good, just like I remembered. Nothing more, nothing less to say.

Yelp
Wow. Medium burger was brought slammed and tasted like the grill top with accelerant. Totally terrible. Beer was fine. Bar is messy. Decent service but bot enough staff. Chef Geoff needs to eat here once or twice. never again for food. Do not recommend. What a mess Also, burger comes with about 12 giant pieces of lettuce and half a red onion. Like .... Why?! The cheese was completely melted off so no cheese to speak of. The condiments are all generic so you are using some kind if degraded ketchup and mayo. Very stupid and strange. I wish this miserable airport would stop pretending to be something wayyyyyyyy better than it is. It's a dump. And all outlets are affected. Geoff - come check on your restaurant Sad.

Yelp
It conveniently located across gate C14 that is off the ramp from the connecting train station. The breakfast menu was quite simple. There was a full bar from its opening at 6am. The water was quickly served. The burrito came with potatoes and salsa. The burger contained medium beef patty and bacon with layers of cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. The fresh fruits in good sizes.

Yelp
Frustrating experience time after time. The staff is generally rude and inattentive, along with expensive food, but I tolerate it due to limited food options. Today after waiting 15 min for my flight I ordered a $20 Baja burrito only to find a bagel after arriving to my gate. I tried calling numerous times to request a refund but the phone listed on the receipt is constantly busy.

Yelp
While in the Dulles airport did a search and this came up as one of the best restaurants in there, at least concourse we were on. So the expectatios were high. Definitely not great. The service was lack lustered, we had to ask for everything, normal things that should be on the table or provided with the food. For example, we ordered an appetizer, no small plates came for us to share, which they may not have because when we asked for plates we were brought full size plates. Had to ask for water, napkins, salt, pepper and ketchup! I ordered the fish and chips and I can guarantee it was Gordon's frozen fish filets! The sweet and spicy cauliflower was good, and my friends all got salads, hard mess that up. Definitely was not impressed and would not recommend this as first choice.

Yelp
I really like exploring airport food options, so when I had a 3 hour layover at IAD (Dulles Airport, Washington, DC), I decided to try Chef Geoff's out of the available options in my terminal (Terminal C). Chef Geoff's hosts your standard pub fare, but with a twist, and the twist is in the quality. Do not throw this place in with the "it's good for airport food" category, because it would be delicious OUTSIDE of an airport. I was greeted upon arrival by a very witty and gracious bartender, I sat at the bar quickly with few people there (it was 6 am, right when it opened). I already had perused the menu on the airport's dining site, so I knew I wanted the Hangover Burger, with bacon and egg, I couldn't wait after 10 days in another country not eating any American food, I was craving a burger! Anyway, the burger came with a side so I chose the potatoes. On first bite: delicious, simple, tasty. It was exactly what I needed. I don't know what the potatoes are seasoned with, but I was shoveling them down my throat so fast that I had to tell myself "slow down, girl, you look ridiculous". I was also able to get some work done there as well because they have several electrical outlets. The vibe was nice and inviting, I thoroughly enjoyed this place and the food.

Yelp
Here I thought the Friday before Memorial Day would be busy on the roads and at the airport! The 30 mile drive to Dulles took 32 minutes and the airport was nearly empty. Looking for breakfast with 90 minutes to spare, Chef Geoff's is about it at the C terminal gates. Service was good (it was nearly empty), food was decent and tasty. Breakfast at Chef Geoff's hit the spot!

Yelp
Chef Geoff's is a great place for a sit-dowm meal at Dulles Airport Concorse C. I havevenkoyed breakfast and dinner here before a flight. Service is fast and the menu selectons are varied. Rables turn over quickly. I like the Chef Geoff's Bacon Cheeseburger.

Yelp
The food was just ok, the sandwich I had was like a frozen chicken paddy from a middle school Deep freezer it was tough. The wings were ok , I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The wait staff all were friendly kind and efficient and very helpful , it was just the food quality for me that was less than satisfactory.

Yelp
Food was outstanding. I ate impoddible burger fully..they made it really well. Service was excellent. To mention few folks are Daniel brother highly customer oriented. He loves comedy. Other good person is Nina Atmosphere was great .

Yelp
I was excited to see there was a priority pass restaurant at IAD which also offered a takeout option for travelers who do not have the luxury of sitting down for a nice lunch or dinner. The priority pass covered $28 of expenses, which was adequate for a nice meal. I ordered a fried shrimp bowl which was prepared to order and include a crispy fried shrimp as well as fresh vegetables and rice. My only complaint is they seem to have forgotten about my order And in total it took about 30 minutes for me to receive my order. Granted, I was on the phone and didn't mind waiting. Should I have inquired, I'm sure I would receive my food sooner. Overall, very pleased with this airport option. Look forward to coming back to try other parts of the menu at my next trip.

Yelp
Had a solo business flight this morning and was looking forward to what I have come to find as a reliable breakfast spot in Concourse C...but today was not their best day. Everyone has an off day, and I'll assume this was theirs. I have gotten the hangover burger a few times as well as the bagel breakfast sandwich, and always been highly pleased. The crispy breakfast potatoes are also usually really good. But this morning I decided to try something different- the Baja Burrito. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as I have come to expect from here. And the crispy potatoes were lacking crispiness and flavor this morning. The server was great, though. She noticed I was going g to pour out my water glass into my travel mug and offered to fill it for me with ice water! That made me smile!

Yelp
Mekeds was my waitress. She was very kind and attentive Ambience: well lit. You could hear the people you were with and have conversations. Their seats are comfortable and the have a beautiful bar. Food: I had the Chef Geoff burger (no bacon) and medium rare. There was no pink BUT it was still delicious!! Juicy, not salty, and paired well with their sauce and the toppings. The restaurant is located in Terminal C, across from gate 14. They also have a grab and go section if you don't have time to sit down. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Everyone in my group enjoyed their lunch! Service was great and the food came out quick.

Yelp
Fantastic food for an airport. We had the Crispy Chinese salad with shrimp and Crispy shrimp rice bowl (order extra sauce). Both super fresh and very flavorful. Highly recommend this when in IAD.

Yelp
Just want to review before I forgot as I do for airport places. Ate here before we took off and this place is great as is the one I went to by AU over a decade ago. My wife and I shared fish tacos, veal bolognaise, and a 33 oz Hazy Fox beer. There was ample seating for all the Friday night passengers. Beer of all was our server who was so amazing and helpful. We gave her a 25% tip when we usually give 20. I know airport food and service can be hit or miss but they for sure knocked it out of the park this time.
google avatar

Holly H.

Yelp
The food was definitely not worth the price.. we had to go somewhere else to get more food because we were still hungry.the servers didn't speak English so when I asked for things shed just show up with random things. It bebecame a joke after the 3rd time. What will she show up with next. They put us in the far back cocorner when the place was completely empty.. didn't understand that at all. But also did not mind. Not sure why on Google they have such a high rating but I definitely do not recommend this place the service was not good the food was not good. The ambiance was empty. Should have took that as a red flag. A lot of room for improvement here.

Yelp
I would rate this 1/5 if I and probably most customers didn't come here due to Priority Pass. On its face, the food we ordered was incredibly overpriced for how subpar the taste was. Both the chicken shawarma and the crispy shrimpy bowl had the worst (mushy) rice I've ever had. Most of the dishes tasted bland. The most flavorful thing was the chicken. I guess at least we got our vegetables in. The service is ok. I understand these folks are probably used to people under tipping as well as possibly being impatient, etc. They are nice and prompt enough. Food came out faster than I expected. That all said, maybe if I'm feeling cheap and still had PP, I would try a burger or fries. But otherwise I would rather just pay more to eat something more pleasurable.
google avatar

Kristen M.

Yelp
Ordered the Crispy Shrimp Bowl. Absolutely amazing! Tomatoes, cucumber salad, edamame, sticky rice, purple slaw, golden and light fried shrimp. The vegetables were so fresh and bursting with flavor. The shrimp was the perfect size and temp. The sauce on the vegetables was to die for. Service was spot on from the moment I walked up to the bar when I was invited by the bartender who had a whole bar full of patrons invited me to have a seat at the one empty bar seat available. How refreshing to review this level of service at an airport restaurant. Ambience was nice its soft lighting, clean and streamlined decor, plating was perfect. I want to return tomorrow! Next time I come through Dulles, I will be there!

Yelp
Note that I visited this restaurant as it happened to be one of the priority pass locations. When seeking guidance from the server about two menu items I was torn between, I was met with a response that was both amusing and utterly unhelpful. The server simply listed off the ingredients of each dish and looked at me expectantly as if that would help me in my decision at all. Interestingly enough, they let you choose how the hamburgers are cooked which is honestly more than the airport restaurants i've been to in the past (ultimately the illusion of choice cause it definitely did not come medium rare) Unfortunately, cleanliness seemed to be an issue throughout the meal, with dirty napkins adding to the overall disappointment. The fries were a saving grace, with a decent taste, although their yellow sauce may not be to everyone's liking. As for the salad, it was a mere facade of flavor, lacking any discernible taste beyond its presentation. In general, the lovely presentation only made it more disappointing to eat. All in all, not a bad option if you have the priority pass, but probably not your best option otherwise.
google avatar

Kimberley P.

Yelp
If I could leave zero stars I would. It's the airport, I get it, it's gonna be overpriced. I don't have a problem with that. What really pissed me off was that my elderly Dad said he would get the check and the waitress brought him an electronic handheld device with "25% tip"already selected. He tried to select "custom" and she told him to just swipe his card. Our check went from $92 to $115 for 2 apps and 3 beers. I tried to call her out on it and she just said "he tipped!" Shady shady. Service was mediocre and the food was naff. They don't do blue cheese or celery or carrots with their wings.
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
Breakfast burrito is greasy. Also everything is over priced. Do better. Ambience is nice though

Olga I.

Yelp
The Brussels sprouts and fish tacos were absolutely perfect! Great place--highly recommended.

Nicholas A.

Yelp
Tommy was super friendly and attentive. He was always asking if we wanted another drink or anything else that was needed. Definitely recommend over Devils backbone. Bar top is nice and big too, easily able to accommodate all the baggage before your flight and chargers are located under the bar top
google avatar

Song Y.

Yelp
It's in Concourse C. It's a nice spot for a quick bite. Menu is not too big but that's Ok as long as they make those foods well. It was my first time here. Ordered the CG bacon cheddar cheese burger with sweet potato fries and Diet Coke. $25 total. Very reasonable for a server restaurant at the airport. The server was attentive and asked me if I wanted refills several times. The customer next to me complained his burger didn't have enough bleu cheese so she offered to bring him some more for free. He seemed satisfied. Tip: Use priority pass for $28 off your order or $56 off for 2 guests! Enjoy!
google avatar

Jasmine S.

Yelp
Yikes. I ordered the shawarma bowl to go and was so disappointed in quality and presentation. Fatty piece of chicken with a large scoop of watery chickpeas fresh from the can with no flavor. It took 20 minutes to come out.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Had a Tuesday dinner at IAD and we got two burgers- one with regular fries and the other with sweet potato fries. Food came out in a timely manner but the burgers were mediocre. The patties were over cooked (we ordered medium), the regular fries were old and the buns were dry. Maybe we came in a bad day
google avatar

Byron S.

Yelp
An absolute waste of money and time. Popped in while on a layover to grab a quick bite before connecting flight. I ordered a burger, cooked medium, and it was essentially slightly browned on the outside and the rest was raw. I ended up only being able to chip off a little bit of one of the edges and left the rest of the blood red patty untouched. I see no reason to ever go back here.
google avatar

Suzanne H.

Yelp
Great place for a drink or dinner or both. Food was really good. They have a few drink specials. Bartenders super friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating at the bar or at a table. Several places where you can charge your phone which is a plus at an airport. Looking forward to going back.
google avatar

Yelp
We were about to get on a flight and our girls (7 & 9) were hungry. I hit Chef Geoff's take out area (Chef Geoff On The Fly) as it was close to our gate and they had Chicken Tenders which are the girl's favorite. The staff at the takeout area was really nice and they got my order out in exactly 10 minutes, which they said it would take, which was just in time for us to board our plane. Since we were rushing I did not think about grabbing ketchup, napkins and utensils but they had already packed it in the bag along with the food (they packed Ketchup and BBQ sauce). I also picked up a small salad and some water. The girls love the tenders and fries. I snuck a nibble and they were pretty good. One additional benefit is that Priority Pass members get a $28 credit. 5 Stars for helping two tired parents feed their hungry kids so they could sleep on the flight home.
google avatar

Juliana D.

Yelp
Slow service, chicken was fried to the point of being burnt. My Caesar salad was drenched with a thick gross dressing. Only saving grace was good cocktails. If you're looking for a full meal, look elsewhere at the airport.
google avatar

Virna L.

Yelp
It served its purpose, service was quick since they know their customers are there to catch a flight. The food is served on take away 9 inch round containers with disposable cutleries. Coffee came immediately, breakfast was really hot. Caveat, you have to be a Priority Pass member to get in and the lady in front of me was trying to use her Amex card to get in and was not allowed. It's a bit overpriced for the food they served. I got a bagel with egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich with side fries for $20.62 - I paid cash for the tip to make sure my server gets it.
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
My review is between 3-4 stars but I upped it to 4 stars since there are so many negative reviews on here. I come to this location as a priority pass member and I have been here many times. The food is always pretty good except for the one time that they burnt my sweet potato fries. It's definitely worth trying if you have a priority pass or want something different than the other fast food available at the airport
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
Wouldn't have come here if it wasn't for Priority Pass. As any Chef Geoff establishment, food is mediocre - typical uninspiring bar food. The tables are not cleaned properly - servers wipe wet dirty rags on tables over and over. It was 7PM, yet half the menu was sold out and our server kept pushing chicken tenders (we heard her pushing to our neighboring table too). The salads are the best thing. Surprisingly even the grilled chicken is tender. Order a salad and nothing else. The bar is a small packed area.
google avatar

Janice C.

Yelp
Was feeling hesitant about coming here but that $28 priority pass credit was too good to pass up! It was 4PM on a hot Wednesday afternoon when I arrived at my terminal. I went to Chef Geoffs with very low expectations based on the Yelp reviews - I wasn't expecting too much! I was also a little cautious about the fresh stuff because of the reviews so I decided to order something safe. I ordered the chicken tenders (safe, fried, can't really go wrong and don't WANT to risk anything before a 6 hour flight!) with a diet pepsi. The server was quick and very attentive and the chicken tenders came out in around 10 minutes! The tenders themselves were standard, same with the fries. It's not stuff that I would rave about but it tasted fine and didn't come out soggy or lacking flavor at all! Most importantly - I didn't get sick on my six hour flight! So I'll write this spot off as a great place to check out before a flight. (Although I still wouldn't get anything like a salad etc just to be safe LOL)
google avatar

Peter M.

Yelp
Flight to SFO from IAD, near Gate C14. Full bar (noisy atmosphere/ambiance) at IAD that accepts Chase Priority Pass. Fish Tacos were BiG pieces of fish (had to cut them in half in order to wedge into the soft flour tortilla) with nice big wedges of avocado. The Manhattan was a nice add, but the beers looked good too. Service was busy, but good & timely. I can recommend & hope to return. Good value. Seating is limited, but seemed to be reasonable for IAD.
google avatar

Jr. J.

Yelp
Mediocre at best, I get that it's an airport and things are made to be fast and not cheap but this is on another level. The $17 Belgian waffles were on par with a free Hampton Inn breakfast. The "butter" and "syrup" was served in the strangest state I have ever seen. I have never seen syrup in a solid form at room temp, kinda scary. Plus I noticed a bunch of black stuff on the edge, my the previous waffles lingering existence... $14 for a rail Bloody Mary would be on if it wasn't served in a champagne flute. $32 later I couldn't even finish the dry ass waffles, for $25 more I could have gone to the lounge. This will be a last for me that's for sure.
google avatar

Krishna P.

Yelp
Food didn't taste as good as it looked. While I won't call it a mess, it was sub par in taste and for what it costed. The service was super quick. The food wasn't as hot as it should be. I know restaurant have to pre assemble the stuff to get you a quick service but looks like this place went a step too far. I can only imagine them having all the sandwiches sitting in a food warmer and just assembling the plate when there is an order. Probably not what they do but that's what it tasted like. The only saving grace is that the place looked nice and clean. The staff was courteous.
google avatar

Gina N.

Yelp
The reason why we picked this place was because of the Priority Pass with $28 and $56 with a guest. Food was mediocre, took long time to be served. When checked out, we tipped 15% and the server pointed at the receipt and asked for min of 18% saying they don't even get hr pay! If gratuity is mandatory at certain rate, why mind as well added to the price? This practice is something not right. Beware!
google avatar

Mark N.

Yelp
Meh. Not horrible but very basic C+ level food and coffee for breakfast. Service was ok but not great. Basically they survive because they are one of the few sit down options in that part of the airport.
google avatar

Yelp
Geoff's puts a premium on speed. We were seated quickly. The waitress showed up quickly. We had barely looked at the menu and she asked if we were ready to order, but she was nice enough to wait a minute while we figured out we wanted. And, in the blink of an eye, she was gone to put in our order. In keeping with this ethos, the food and drinks also showed up quickly. I ordered a Chef Geoff's IPA, an IPA so heavily hopped that I feel like I should be chomping through it. But, if you like hops, this is actually pretty good. My wife's Moscow Mule, on the other hand, was wimpy. It tasted good, but there was very little alcohol in it. We asked for dressing on the side of the kale salad, but we got dressing on it instead. It took a few minutes to flag somebody down, because the entire staff here seems to be in perpetual motion. But, once we did flag our waitress down, ZOOM, she took off with the salad, and quickly returned with a replacement. When we got the salad with dressing on the side, there was a tiny cup of dressing, and we had to order another one. The dressing itself was a decent creamy Caesar. There wasn't much of a salad other than a big plate of kale and a few sliced cherry tomatoes strewn across it. The bits of shaved Parmesiano Reggiano were a nice touch, however. The chips and guacamole were also OK. The chips were nicely crunchy, but needed salt. The guacamole was basically just mashed up avocado, and there was only a small amount of it. The decor here looks like this must've been an old style airport cafeteria type area previously. The only thing distinguishing it from what it used to be is there is a bar at one end of the place. This isn't a bad place to stop if you just need a quick drink, but don't get your hopes up about the dining experience.

John T.

Yelp
Unfortunately they are VERY slow. Food is just ok. Ordered breakfast burrito with salsa on the side. I was brought the burrito after long delay with cold sausage on the side.

Yelp
I've been lucky to have had a gate right by Chef Geoff's the last few times I've flown out of Dulles and this is my go-to spot. As others have pointed out, it's part of the Priority Pass program so you get $28 off your food/beverage total, which is amazing!! Prices are reasonable so you're basically just paying tip! I always order the Hail Kale Salad with salmon. Once, it came with kale. The other times, it's been random. Once there was spinach which was decent. The last time they just made a Caesar salad which was not great. It's truly hit or miss if your server will let you know that they are out of kale so just be prepared...salmon is always decently cooked though. Service is nice but slow and inattentive. Your water likely won't be refilled and the food might take a while to come out. And as expected, it's extra slow during peak meal times. Nothing to rave about, but it's solid airport food. Yes the service isn't great and yes the kale is usually missing, but if you're reasonably flexible and not in a crazy rush, Chef Geoff's is a decent spot (and especially great if you're using Priority Pass!).
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
Super busy place, but the staff works quickly and efficiently. The food was good and I'd recommend if you are looking to grab a bite before you get on your flight.

Yelp
Yelp nails it again. Two and a half stars. The place is super expensive - even by airport standards. So you have to want to eat very bad here to justify the price. * * * My wife hated the place. I liked my food at first. But five minutes after I left the place, My mouth had a taste of stale frying oil. Those tastes stay in your mouth for a long time. At the table next to me, The mother left a hamburger uneaten that was one of the grossest looking institutional "pre-cut-off-a-log" burgers I had seen in a while. Her kid left his french fries and chicken mostly untouched too. My salad fixings were okay ... So this is not a one star review. If you eat here - eat salad, avoid the proteins and avoid the fried food. * * * With the price, your salad will be very expensive. But Dulles is not full of wonderful options. This may be what you decide to do.

Andrew P.

Yelp
Pros:Service was great Con: the food is horrible. $17 for a basic egg, toast and potato breakfast is steep but expected. What's not expected is the hotel free breakfast quality of the food. The eggs are liquid eggs, potatoes from a frozen bag, and microwave bacon. Only the toast was of decent quality. This breakfast cost them maybe $2 in materials. At best it's a $10 breakfast for the airport. I'll be finding the fast food places on the next visit. Absolutely horrible restaurant!
google avatar

Betty C.

Yelp
It's hard to find a decent restaurant at the airport that serves real food. The waiter came over right away to take our order. I got the fish and chips and it was tasty. Even though the place was busy we never felt rushed or that it was too loud to speak with my fellow travelers. Nice stop!
google avatar

Jim D.

Yelp
I had a beer and a Ceasar Salad. I suspect that the salad was washed, then dressed while still wet. Then held for some time before serving. That would explain both the lack of flavor and wilted greens. Also, pro tip for restaurants - pick through the greens to remove all the brown ones. I know, crazy right? Such a simple life hack can improve your food. Would not repeat.
